Good morning. Boy your party sounds like fun. Im pulling up a chair and marking my spot. Wont be doing much though, as I will be stuck just soaking up some sun. Broke my foot - no frisbie playing for me.
Wings: Im so happy for you and your daughter. I can feel your pride beaming right through my computer screen. Hope you get some good pictures.
Margo: Make sure to bring me a rum runner. Im gonna do some serious drinking at the beach party. You can just call me limpy.
Faith: I loved the picture of the flags by the beach. You do come up with some of the greatest pictures.
Sahalie: Looks like I will be a spectator. Gonna grab some angel wings to bring me to the party. Since I cant walk, and cant get sand in my cast.
Sending a song your way for the party.

See ya at the party.

Good morning Beach Ladies! Happy Friday.
My friends tried to talk me into going to the lake again this weekend but I really need to get some things done around the house.
Faith -- how are our babies doing? I would love to see more pics.
Iris -- you sure have a heavy load to carry right now. We miss you when you can't get here.
Sahalie -- I always love your virtual beach images. I'm up for a party but I pretty much suck at frisbee.
Wings -- how are you this bright beautiful morning.
Neesie -- I hope you aren't having more computer issues.
Margaret -- how is your grandson doing?
I have a new recipe to share later. Easy peasy and very healthy.

Wings, have fun at the graduation.
Nicki, soaking up the sun sounds great.
Jaz, I want the new recipe! You should have gone to the lake - things will always need doing around the house.
Time to hit the showers. Everyone have a good day.

Good Morning Beach Buddies!
I kinda feel like the Internet version of the Karate Kid......you know, Wax on, Wax off................I'm playing Internet On, Internet Off...............Eyyyyyyyy!
I'm sure it will be off again shortly.............sure wish the wonderful (not) Comcast could find the problem.
Okay, kinda funny here.......we had the Comcast Tech here again last evening. Just like taking a kid to the doctor.......when you get there they feel fine. Well, when the tech gets here (3 times now) our Internet is working......so Mr. Tech man makes a couple calls and decides (like they decided a week ago) that it is an outside problem and calls for the "line crew" or something like that..............he didn't tell us that............so when it went out again I called Comcast and like any Respectable, Middle Aged, Hormone starved crazy lady...............forwarned him that I was extremely frustrated............and on and on and on.............
Okay lost myself there...........
The Funny part
We live in the sticks.........but not that Sticky............The line guy showed up around 8ish.......DH saw him on a pole (as he said....2 poles down from us) and his big truck was parked in the neighbors drive..................Someone called the Sheriff and reported a Man on a pole! Now, with all the dips and curves in our road......you can't even see from driveway to driveway...........who would have called the sheriff????????????
Guess they thought he was a Peeping Tom!
I don't know the lady next door, but I do know that she has had BC also...SOOOOOOOO.....guess if it would have been a peeping Tom..he'd have to peak in both of our windows at the same time to get a "whole" peek!!
Okay...........you can tell I've been without friends for a week........my mouth is babbling away and not making much sense!
Gotta get ready and head into Mom's (yup, Margo!).........I swear she is punishing me from missing last Friday...............I have so much stuff to take her that I've picked up during the week that I'm thinking I'll need a Hand Truck to get it out of the car! It all started with "UltraBrite" toothpaste................Hey, I found it.........But, come on.........The only Toothpaste in the world that still sells for $1.15 a tube..........Then there is "Cepacal" (spelling) mouthwash.............Nothing but!! I've got a stash of this stuff now.........when she says, "I need"...........I can think woooooo.."I've already got!"
Oh my........running of the mouth and I've got to get ready for Sahalies party!!!!!!! Sounds like a good time! I'm still trying to get all the sand out of certain crevice's and wrinkles from the time the Beach Patrol yanked my towel out from under me.........geesh!
Have a grand day.............
Wings: Congrats to you and your DD!!!!!!!!! Will be thinking of you tomorrow and hopefully seeing you Monday!
The MI ladies have been looking for Kay....Fancy2.......I found her last night......she has been dx with Mets.........as this is her 3rd round with the beast.....I know she can win..........but it is so unfair. Please keep her in your thoughts.
Hugs,
Neesie

Neesie -- I loved your Comcast story. I'm a little surprised someone called the sheriff too. Did they come? I hope they finaly got your issues fixed. I haven't heard of ultrabrite in years. They still make it???
I'm so sorry to hear about Fancy. There seems to be alot of sadness on the boards the last few months. I just don't feel that they are any closer to a cure. I used to believe they were but I don't anymore. It sucks big pickles.

Is it possible to take a "fall" in empathy? I was just reloading my car (this is actually what I do for a living) and completely collapsed on the front porch, twisting my ankle into some sort of pretzel..... I sat there for about 15 mins thinking of nEEsie stories.... then I come on here and see Nicki can't join the frisbee fun??? Eeeeeeerie. I seem to be relatively 'ok'. No salsa dancing for me tonight. (Yeah right)
First of all, thanks to each & all who have commented about our sweet babes. They are indeed a miracle on so many levels. Being here with them, I feel blessed each time I look at them. I send that blessedness to each and every one of you. A to Z and back again.
Jasmine: I'll attatch your baby-fix pics for the day. So glad to hear about your get-away to the lake a while back. I nominate you for dj of the year. Is there such a thing as a psyciatric dj? Theraputic spinner of tunes? You win that award for certain! Thank you.
Margo: CONGRATS on your achievement on behalf of so many. I hope that when you catch your breath you are able to realize what an amazing accomplishment you created and how many lives you've changed!! CHEERS. And to think that you were able to pull it off in the midst of family health issues, just shows what a trooper you are. Some day I'll make that quiche recipee. (Another yeah right.)
nEEsie: can't wait to meet you, AGAIN. haha. This time we'll be able to connect the dots. So glad that your under-water-basket-weaving course can wait for another occaision. Sure hope I get to meet your GD too. Attempting to find out where I'll be on Tues night. Let the peepers peep -- if it gets you computer connectivity! Can't manage without you.
Iris: thank heavens it's just your battery that ran low. We can 'bearly' keep it together without your synopsis to guide us. Especially me, in my current sleep deprived state. Thanks so much for taking the time to keep us trotting along. It's "wonderful" that you are able to be of service to your parents & appreciate the wonders around you at the same time.
Wings: WHOOOOHOOOOOOHOOOOOOHOOOOO!! Congrats. How many people does it take to get a child thru college? Enjoy the day. Enjoy the weekend. Enjoy each other. Way-to-go. What a fantastic milestone to celebrate. I know you must be on cloud nine. BTW: Just loved the airplane doggie. (DH a pilot, SIL a pilot etc etc) Can't wait to hug you in person!! Careful with the MI left-turns. See ya Mon.
Angel: I miss you. I miss your posts. I miss your pictures. I miss your energy. I miss your avatar. I miss your encouragement. I miss your sense-of-direction. I miss your support. I miss your willingness to jump right in. I miss your personal cabana boy, who always brought me your left-over mixer drinks. I miss your spunk. I miss you.
Candie: hope that all is well with you as you work at balancing symptoms with insurance details. Always have you in my thoughts.
Deb C: praying for you each and every day. Sending you lots of new-baby smell. I thought of you last night during the bathing portion of our reality show. You'd have really been in your glory -- what with all the baby lotions smells mixed in.
Amy: thank you for your kind words about the twinsies. I send some of their joyous juice directly to you, for the duration. I swear they actually sparkle at times. It must be because of all of the prayers that were said on their behalf, before they were born.
Sahalie: my gratitude for your creative vision is boundless. You have picked-me-up'ed-and-carried-me so many times with your descriptions and images. We had fresh pineapple the other night at dinner and I started to get all teary -- just thinking of the gifts you've given me with your imagination and vision. Thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are able to refill some part of me that's been empty and I am so grateful.
Nicki: as my ankle starts throbbing, I'll be thinking of you. Wishing you well.
FootPrints: keep working on getting your donations sorted out for the walk. Technology can be sooooo frustrating. Especially when we get used to it working correctly. One step at a time.
Blackjack: Welcome to the beach!! You'll like us here. Pull up a chair in my cabana and let's get acquainted! I'm the one needing reminded to use sunscreen.
Shrink, Janny, Barb, Watson, Susan, Peachie, HipChick, DreamWriter, Catbert and all my other chatter buddies -- wade on in the water's fine!!
How funny is it that I found these license plates earlier this winter on my vagabond to Las Vegas? To think that they would have had each of these two, not-quite-typical names was amazing to me! Only in Vegas...... headed back there this summer for the national Kindergarten convention. It will probably be 120 degrees in the shade for my return. LOL
****Oh, and while everyone continues to snooze here (are you absolutely amazed??? I'm in shock!) while I am attempting to balance all of this great good fortune...... I get a phone call from the young man who filmed my DVD. He's really on a rampage to get 'us' a TV show, thru PBS no less, as the station we had hoped to use and met with a gazillion times last year has gone no where.... and so he wants to set up a series of a bazillion new meetings with the bigwigs and influencers and and and and. Ya just gotta love his youthful enthusiasm. I'm borrowing it right now. Keep your fingers crossed.
Then I just got an email yesterday from the company who commissioned my latest recording and they are now poised to have us create another project for them -- due for gold master in Feb. Fun, fun, fun. Only I need to write the songs this time myself. Last time they had someone on staff write them.... so extra effort required this time. YIKES.
Then there's someone else that wants to use my songs in a teacher's book on 'movement' that we will write together...... I need all of you to help keep me 'grounded' here at the beach. It's taken 12 years to get to this point, but suddenly things are beginning to snowball quite rapidly. Someone find a picture of a snowball at the beach.................
*****Oh, and I nearly forgot to tell you that my DD, Sarah is really doing remarkably well. Each day is another bit of progress. Yesterday her toxemia swelling seemed to improve by the hour. She nearly has recognizable ankles. Maybe today she'll be able to wear a ring? Today we are to take everyone to her doc for her various bloodwork etc. Get the wagon-train ready. She is able to nurse both kiddos at the same time and talk on her cell phone when necessary (I kid you not.) Yesterday her toilet in her master FLOODED..... I mean seriously flooded...... and that leant a bit of additional drama to an otherwise quiet (third, yeah right) day. Can't decide if WonderBoy created an experiment or what??!!?? The basement had a puddle about 10 feet across, but we seem to have sorted that one out.
While you're finishing up my little novel, we had additional happy news from my younger DD that she has a 'gig' to play for an embassy in DC. Can't even bring myself to attempt to spell..... one of the old Russian bits. Starts with an A. Sounds like Abercrombie.
Where have my brain cells ended up?
Better post before I exceed the allowable space per post.
Love to each of you!

Game on tonight ladies.
Bring it!
Also . . . .
Wings ~ Congratulations on your DD's graduation.
You must be soooo proud! What an outstanding achievement to be sure.
Have a great time at the ceremony!
Your "winged" pooch is most welcome to join the festivities just warm him/her about "Rocket Dog."
"RD" gets a tad possesive over the frisbee.
Faith ~ WOW. Flippin fantastic news all the way around.
Go with this tide of a great adventure as you are so very talented and will be a huge hit.
Congratulations on all your wonderful accomplishments.
The LV babies are snuggly adorable in those pictures.
I'm so happy Sarah is doing so much better.
Time is what we all need to get through the hard bumps of life and get us to the side where we can finally feel pretty good.
I'm still in search of my energy.
Has anyone seen it? I push on through but it's evading me.
I pray and holler that our dear Iris is OK.
We need to pick her up, wrap in her hugs and not let go.
Hey, I know, I'll gather the beach patrol and they will dart over to Faith's beachhut and Iris's beach bungalow on thier beach gators with soft motion seats, pick you up and bring you to the tournament tonight.
They will offer you leg massages so take them up on them OK.
Faith, thank you from my heart what you wrote.
Today I'm headed over to Pt. Reyes to hike the trail out to the point.
It's not to hot here today, about low 70's so it should be enjoyable.
I will be back by 7PM for the Frisbee Tournament and see you all there.
Game on girls.

Back from the ortho and such good news. I didnt need a cast. He left me with this funny looking shoe. I have my horse to bring me to the frisbie party later and can pick anyone up. Immediately thinking of Neese and Faith.
Margo: Soaking up the sun does feel good doesnt it. All I need is a picnic basket. Gonna bring some fried chicken, apple pie, homemade potato salad - Italian style, and some rum and coke. For some reason that sounds good to me today. Plan on getting a good dose of Vitamin D today.
Neese: OK, I say enough already. I hope comcast is not charging you for all these days you have been without the internet. I would be going buggy already. Your pole story cracked me up. I laughed out loud, DH wanted to know what was funny. Im glad you were able to connect with Fancy - please give her a hug for me.
Faith: I cant believe you twisted your ankle. Im praying its nothing serious. Ice and elevate if you can. Those twins are just the cutest and I loved the picture with the little one standing on his tip toes to peak at them. I feel so bad for your daughter. Toxemia isnt easy, but then I think about the fact that she has a wonderful mother like you to help her out.
I know we have played this before. But its such a great song and seems appropriate for the day.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=MCBUzzBm4cg
Im just going to enjoy the next 3 days - then its back to work for me. Its fun coming here and actually having time to talk with all of you.
I'll bring Mister to the party. He is half black lab, half border collie and loves playing frisbie.
Rock on!

Well Happy Friday afternoon Beach Friends.
Margaret -- I really was tempted to go to the lake but I've got bills and other stuff that I've let slide that I need to work on. I'll post the recipe this evening. Its a lovely salmon that is very healthy and full of protein.
Faith -- I love the baby pictures. Its truly amazing how much personality each one has in the little faces already. Love the license plates. I hope you ankle is okay. Do you think you did any major damage or is it just a sprain. I'm so happy to hear that your daughter is doing better.
That is great news about getting your show on PBS. That would be awesome! I can't wait to see it.
Wings -- congratulations on your daughter. How did I miss that?
Sahalie -- I agree with Faith. Your use of imagery is fantabulous. You should write travel brochures or relaxation therapy visualization cds.
Gentle hugs to Shrink, Footprintsangel, Amy, Susan, Jan, Watson, and everyone else from A to Z.

By the way....has anyone gotten their tax rebate check yet? I'm not talking about your tax refund, I'm talking about the economic stimulus one that we are supposed to get to go spend. I just got my refund but so far no rebate. I REALLY WANT THAT MONEY!!!! LOL

DH has waited all week for the new series of "Man vs Wild".........and I can't wake him up................hey, I tried!
I decided that I want to be 'born again'..............born skinny that is.......I want to be one of those gals that can eat anything they want and never gain a pound................don't know where that came from..............but sounds good!
We're driving the State the next two days doing First Communions for 3 nieces............. it's gonna be a lllllllllllllooooooooonnnnnnnnnggggggg weekend!
Have a good one!

Neesie..I was actually one of those skinny girls who could eat anything and not gain weight until I was diagnosed and did chemo. I think its being thrown into instant menopause. Now, all I have to do is think about having B&J's Chunky Monkey and I gain 5 lbs overnite.

Neesie, how was visit with M.O.M.? Love the Comcast story. Sorry to hear about Fancy.
Faith, hope that ankle is ok. Make that quiche recipe - it was so good and so easy - easy is good. Glad that Sarah is doing well. Trevor and McKenna sure are cute. That's great news on your futuree show.
Sahalie, Im here for the frisbee tournament. It's good exercise to run in the sand. Was it cold your way today? It was cold here, got ugly, and I thought it was supposed to be nice.
Nicki, my boot went up to my knee - is yours that high? At least I could take it off to shower. It fit over my shoe too.
Jaz, no economic stimulus check yet - I think we get ours next week. Thanks for the salmon recipe - I was going to get some salmon last week - what I normally pay $13 for is now over $20.
Hi Susan - snowballs at the beach?

To all our Frisbee Flowers.
You were all awesome beyond belief.
I am sneaking away from the tournament bonfire to score a few extra chocolate bars for our S'mores and wanted to tell you all the things I heard our beach spectators saying.
A local reporter was so impressed she wants to feature us in the "Beach and Shells Revue" local paper printed up the road in the "Ink and Tell" hut so everyone be prepared for pictures.
Anyone who wants to participate in the feature be on deck tomorrow at 10:30AM.
Where your best sparkly flip flops or birkeys.
Also, the beach patrol are wild and crazy but have finally given us the respect we deserve.
Although the winner didn't turn out to be one our team members we can hold our heads up high.
Even Rocket Dog was hood winked.
Margaret, It was overcast here and out at Pt. Reyes today but still warm breezes.
I give up on the weatherman. I just wait and see.
Jasmine, Yummy on the salmon recipe. Thank YOU!
I say we use it at the next beach party.
Susan, snowballs on the beach? How fun!
OMG, Rocket Dog just chased our Frisbee winner right past me.
Save the S'mores.
I am proud to announce our first annual Beach Girls Frisbee winner who was out of sight
phenomenal.
Give it up Girls for "Snorkel" the amazing bow wow.

So Snorkel won the game..........I left before it was over!
Jas: Forget to mention that we received our check last week.......direct deposit.
Margo: M.O.M visit went fine.......see above!
Iris: That little Teddy looks so peaceful!
Faith: Have you packed yet???????????
Gotta get ready to hit the road for the 1st of our 3 First Communions this weekend!

Good Morning! I will be taking a break from soaking up the sun today. Its Kentucky Derby Day and Im going to a Derby Party. Bloody Marys and all. Should be lots of fun - although I will miss the sound of the waves as they hit the shore.
This is a picture of ZHumor. That is my choice for the day. He is the son of Distorted Humor - a race horse many of you have heard me talk about in the past.
Sahalie: Great picture of the frisbee winner.
Margo: Its a funny looking shoes. I have an ace bandage, then this shoe, then I cover it with a stocking. It will look quite lovely when I put on a business suit!
Faith: What a great poem. "It takes courage to live." That really struck home. How is your ankle?
Neese: My goodness, what a description of your day. Mom and grandbabies! Your week-end sounds busy. Enjoy. And dont even think about falling - gracefully or not.
Susan: Snowballs at the beach? Hmmm it was quite sunny and warm where I was sitting. Felt good soaking up the sun.
Have a good morning. Im getting something to eat.

Good morning Beach Ladies!
Sahalie -- wow! We had a really great time at the beach party. I just want to know which one of us got likkered up and painted that bullseye on our pup? LOL!
Neesie -- have fun and stay safe!
Iris -- good morning to you. I hope you are having a lovely summer day there.
Well, youtube seems to be down so I will post the song of the day later.
Faith -- give our babies a hug and kiss for all their aunties.
Emelee -- its so nice to see you drop in. I loved your baby bump pic on the other thread.
Margaret -- that's a LOT to pay for salmon. Its not nearly that expensive here. I guess its because of the cost of living wherever you are.
Susan -- now where in the world did you find those snowballs. Looks like you have big plans for them. LOL!
I'll be back later with the song of the day.

OK, Im off to the races. Have a wonderful day at the beach.
Heres an oldy for ya all. Dedicated to the one I love.

Sahalie, thanks for the recap for those who didn't attend. The S'mores were awesome after all that running around. I gave Snorkel an extra one. Just make sure when they photograph us, it's head shots only for me, and no double chin showing ok? It's supposed to be 70 here today but judging from the weather now, I don't know.
Neesie, you have such patience with your M.O.M. In order for me to do any errands with mine, she has to return my calls (I called her Thursday afternoon and have yet to hear from her). She usually calls back when I leave the third message telling her that it's her turn to call. She's famous for the "creep factor" - she waits til we go down to see her for a planned lunch/dinner or whatever, and "by the way, I need to go xxxx, and xxxx, and xxxx" so your 2 hour visit is now 6 hours that you hadn't planned on.
Nicki, I had to wear my boot to two occasions - I think one might have been my auction and the other was a wedding - at least it was black so it wasn't obvious!
Jaz, I'm in sunny California - that's what I usually pay if I buy my salmon at Costco and I didn't buy it last week when I saw the price. I'll have to check my local Fish Market restaurant but I thought I heard that salmon fishing was not allowed in CA and Oregon now so maybe that's why the high prices.
Keep your fingers crossed for Ryan - he took the test to get into the plumbers union a few weeks ago and passed and he goes for an interview this morning. Joe's dad was a plumber and still has his license and all the equipment and tools, so Ryan could take it over. More importantly, he would have a trade that will carry him through life. Fingers crossed that he interviews well.

Well, that's interesting, my original post copied two different things.....hmmmm...and obviously it was a cut and paste for somewhere else so I deleted it. Sorry about that.
On a different note though, my 22 year old baby boy just accepted into the plumber's union so now has to find a sponsor quickly. He's so excited (and so are mom and dad!).
