Miz:  That cat translation was pretty funny!  I couldn't quite make out the last words at the end but nevertheless it was good!  Thanks for the laugh!

Jaz:  Don't you know conference calls and meetings were invented so as people could avoid actually getting any work done  lol

    Let the sun shine down!!

I'm careful Jas..........scared to death of driving on Ice and snow........so I take the stance of an 80 year old.........both hands on the wheel in the 10 and 2 position (I think that's where they belong) and go slow as a snail.....seeing I have a lead foot that's something for me!

How inviting....a swim up bar!  One Pina Coloda please............I'm a cheap date...........2 and I'm gone!

Jan and Angel and All!  No problem saving you a spot..........least I could do!

Susan.........I can only imagine the avatar you have for me!!

Amy:  Love the update on the new babies!

Shirley:  Grab a towel and find a spot!

I have another site to visit in a bit...........but I really won't be around much this weekend.  Mom Stuff tomorrow (she has to go to a specialist next week) why?  Her PCP is playing stupid or something is up that she isn't telling us!

I'll check in, but wanted to wish all a great weekend!

    Hugs,

    Neesie

Char of course I'll love it here. I'm a California girl. No California girl can resist a good beach.

Jas, we thought the darn things were gone. But alas one decided to grace us with its icky rodent with wings presence last night during dinner

Yikes!  Was it actually in the living space part with you or still in the attic?  I think I would be finding a motel room for the night if it was actually inside the human space.

    TGIF beach bums!!!!!

Miz, those cat videos were hysterical!

Sherloc!  Welcome and pull up a beach chair!  Neesie will stay up all night, if she has to, to save us good seats!

Jas, I'm so glad I don't do conference calls.  My sis works at home and she is a slave to them.

Charlene, yes I know the temp is going down this weekend.  Today isn't too bad though.  I was out doing errands and the sun was actually shining.  I was going to get the salt washed off my car, but they are calling for rain or snow on Monday or Tuesday, so I didn't waste my money.

    Happy Margarita Friday!!!

Good Luck with your Mom neesie.

If I don't post to you, that doesn't mean I don't like you.  I like everybody that posts here.  I'm not ignoring anyone, I just have a short attention span.

Ooohhhh, those Margaritas look so good. I could snarf up all three...cept it'd be more fun to share 'em.  Too bad I gave up drinking for Lent.  But TG ONLY for Lent.  That chair looks pretty nice too, I could sit there in the shade and save my skin from the sun.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is OLO?

HAHA Charlene and Jan, I guess you both searched "beach chair" on photobucket??

Neesie, best to you this weekend.  I know your mom is a bit high maintenance.

Susan, I said the same thing, the reason I don't do well on threads here is I am not good at addressing everyone.

Shirls you have bats again?  Bats in the belfry?

Hey could we all say a big prayer for Cheri?  Her grandson is having hearing problems and is looking at having to have surgery.  Poor little guy.  And poor Amber is completely tore up.  She can't post here but that doesn't mean alot of us don't care about her and her family.

Barb, lucky you, today's temps in Florida was a breezy 80 degrees!  I had the top down on my car and there was not a cloud in the sky!  Have fun.

Marsha:  Yeah, that's what I did, I assume Janny did too .. weird!   LOL  Oh, I'm so jealous of you Marsha and your nice weather!  That was nice of you to ask about praying for Cheri's son and Amber.  I know how worried Cheri is also.  I'm sending positive vibes and lots of love their way and hoping surgery isn't needed for her little gs.

Barb:  Nice, how long are you going to Tampa for?  How do you get to fly on a military plane?

    Miz,

OLO is just another way to LOL.

I've met Cheri's gs. He is a sweetie. You want to pick him up and scrunch him so I do.  Praying for him to get better and Amber not to be so hurt.

Cheri and her GS are in my prayers.  She has been through so much the past few months.  It just sucks.

Charlene, too funny about you and I picking the same beach chair!  Don't make me fight you for it, olo!

Barb, have fun in Florida!  My son just moved to Ft. Myers.

I'm just sitting back having a few drinks and enjoying the sun on my face!

Barb, two weeks in Tampa, how awesome!!  Flying free must be a very nice benefit.  btw, you never returned with drinks!  LOL

Janny, I've seen how fit you look and know how much you exercise so I'm gladly giving up that chair to you  LOL

Hoping everyone falls asleep peacefully tonight smelling the sweet salt air as you drift off ....

OK, Let me try this again !! I just typed a post, and realized I was on the wrong page !! Anyway, the reason I didn't get back sooner with the drinks, is because I went to that swim-up pool bar that Marsha told us about, and I lost track of time----But I'm back, and I brought some Mikes Hard Lemonade for everyone. I hope you like it. It might be too late now, but I'll keep it on ice till tomorrow !

Keeping Cheri and her grandson in my prayers.

Good-night all, I'm just going to lay on the beach and watch the stars.

Char, two episodes of Idol in one night - the nurse was memorable.  Yup, going to Hawaii again in August I think - aren't I just the jetsetter?  It's a good thing hubby works for the airlines.  Our weather is going to be nice for a week.  Hyacinth is blooming.

JoeyAnn, enjoy Maui - I have a girlfriend who lives in Kihei - she's from the east coast - she and her hubby went there for vacation, went home and sold everything and moved to Maui.

Jasmine, I would love to see Alan Jackson.  By the way, I sent my grandkids home with some potato soup earlier this week and my daughter called tonight wanting the recipe - she said the kids loved it so she has to make some.

Neesie, thanks for saving my spot on the beach.  Good luck with the mom stuff tomorrow.  Here's my mom story - her dialysis center calls me tonight to tell me that they moved up her appt tomorrow to 10:00 - now she does dialysis M/W/F.  So I have to call her, leave her a message but she's not good about calling me back so I call the facility where she lives, and leave a msg for her.  She calls me back, doesn't even tell me why she has to have an extra dialysis, but she can't make 10 - she was planning on going at 2:00 - whatever, I tell her she needs to call the dialysis center.

Janny, if we ever meet, the Malibu Bay Breezes are on me, ok?

Amy, you have to go to Hawaii some time.  Youll love it.

Marcia, that looks wonderful. Thanks for the update on Cheri - it's nice to hear about her.  Is it Kevin having the hearing problems?  Give her my best.

Shirley, glad you could join us on the beach.

Char, did you tell everyone which one was me in our picture?  I'm the one with some attitude in the pic.

Barb, have fun in Florida.  Send some of that hard lemonade my way.  Stars, one of my favorite things.

    More later.

Its gonna be below zero today.  I needed to come out and get some warm beach air.  Im yearning for spring and sunny days.  I can feel the warmth already and its feels greath.

This is a nice thread!  A fun getaway for sure.

    Hi everyone!

I wish I had more time to hang out at the beach with all of you! I'm running my kids around to activities all day, and it is supposed to snow again here, so I would love some time to soak up the sun and squish my toes in the sand. Save a chair (and a drink) for me -- I'll be back later.

Hi Nicki, looks like we're the only ones on the beach this morning. I think we've both had enough of winter, huh?

Good morning Beach Ladies.  Looks like another gorgeous day on this side of the beach.  Have a lot of errands to do today.

Guz:  Good morning to you.  Yes - buried in snow and cold.  I want Spring.  Having a good time at the beach this morning.  Just soaking in the sun and pretending it wont be subzero here tonight.

Jasmine:  That happens to be my favorite song and video.  Reminds me of the peanuts crew bobbing their heads while they sing along.

    Have a great morning.

Good morning ladies, I guess I better brush off the sand and get something done around my house today, but I'll be back later--the drinks are still on ice--help yourselves and enjoy !

Wow Nickie, still below zero there !!! It might fell like spring here today, I think it's going up to 40.

Gus, have fun with your kids today, and be careful in the snow !

Jasmine, love the song, you know how to pick-em.

I think everyone else is still sleeping, or having a busy Saturday--I'm sure the beach will be more crowded later !

    Need some coffee now, bbl.

Hi girls, save me a spot again - have to run around all day too - once I get my butt out of bed.

Jas, thanks for the song of the day.

Char, my life has been blessed.  As far as a jetsetter - now that we're done paying for college and all the kids are grown and out of the house (well, except for Ryan and he's never going to leave unless we move out of the Bay Area - after all, it's tough for kids today to be able to afford even rent in our area), we have more time and money (more time than money) and it helps when you can fly for free.  Boy, did that ramble make sense?

Well, have to go read my email and then go get some things done! Meet you all back here later.
