My mother is very very sick. COPD...on full time oxygen now for two years... and she gets pneumonia every month. Right now her temp is 103... she is on anti-biotics as always........
She is the most incredible woman. Her heart is EVERYWHERE>
She is only 65. I pray everyday for the Lord to spare her life a little longer here. She lives everyday in so much pain.. and she fights and finds the joy in the day... somehow. She is inspirational.. I cannot even tell you.
Father, you know what I want..and anyone who knows mom.. ( Nanci).. I ask that you spare her life and send her a healing MIRACLE. They only thing that can save her life and heal her is You. No doctor can anymore. Please Father, pardon my mom...
If it is not your Will, then I ask you take her pain away. Thank you Lord. Laura

My mom was put in the hospital last night around 7pm. Please pray they find out why here fever will not go down. They have ruled out Liver, Lungs and blood clots.

Dear Lord, I come before You now with Laura's Mom Nanci. Please
help heal Nanci, She is a very special person to alot of people. I
pray that the pain will lessen and that Laura will be able to enjoy
her mom. Please be with Laura too, help her to be strong and stay
well. For You alone are the Great Physician, Grant them grace to
remain faithful in the face of pain and suffering. I place my trust in the
Doctors, Nurses and others helping You to help Laura's Mom. I offer

We are praying here, dear Jesus, unceasingly, that your will for us will now play out in victory. That these debilitating illnesses will subside and allow us to be living witnesses to your splendor, your grace, your mercy. We know you did not promise an easy path and so we continue to honor and praise you as we journey, looking forward only toward you, our prize.

I pray for the families of Geraldine and Pat, two lovely amazing women, full of grace and peace. Geraldine died last week and Pat died this morning.

Thank you so much for praying for my mother. I have been with her at the hospital. They are not sure why she has/had the fever. They are testing and testing and she will be there tonight and probably tomorrow. Who knows.... We just have to have faith!

Dear Lord, Help me fight this disease. Help me to take
charge of my medical care and treatment. Give me a positive
fighting spirit. Help me to say no when it is appropriate,
remembering always to treat everyone, including the medical
staff attending me, with the same dignity and respect that I
expect of them. guard me from the temptation to resign to
passivity, negativity, and anxiety. Surround me with people
who care about me and who will pick me up if I fall.

Lord, I thank you so very much for all the ladies on this board. Their prayers and petitions are extremely comforting to one another and we know you put each of them here for such a time as this. Please continue to give comfort and blessings to them as we journey in this land.

Thank you for your prayer, Debbie, it sounded like it was meant just for me. Thank you, all of you, for your prayers. I spent my morning commute in prayer this morning. I am trying to discern God's will for me right now. I'm a little hard-headed and I don't quite get subtle messages. He needs to kind of hit me over the head. I pray that God will direct me towards His will.

Dear Lord, look over Eileen as she recovers from a fall that resulted in a fractured skull and internal bleeding! She previously had a brain tumor that most considered inoperable, but you saw her through that. Please be will her, and all that are caring for her.
Dear lord, I don't know your will but so many are dying and hurting please help them, please help us to do what is in our power to stop what pain and illness and unkindness that we can.
Please hold all of these women here in your gentle hands, guiding all through to health.

I posted this on my chemo board.....didn't wanna type it out again so I copied and pasted it.
Hey everyone.
I went to see my RAD Onco today and got some very good news. She told me I'm in complete remission! Those words were so sweet to me I can't even begin to tell you how it made me feel. I told her about my Med Onco telling me I had an 80% chance of recurrence. She said if I can make it to the two year mark without a recurrence, I would have a 90% chance of survival. After 5 years it will go up to 99%. So my goal is to make it to that two year mark!!! I'll be getting another PET scan in 3 months.....SHE wants it done. Then it will go to 6 months. She made me feel so much more hopeful than my Med Onco did. But I'm sure he was just trying to prepare me for what could happen......but boy did he shoot my mood down that day. He said I didn't need routine scans done.....they really didn't help detect anything any sooner than symptoms would appear. I disagreed with him. I feel more confident with her decisions right now. Plus he has moved.......God put him there for me when I needed him and now he has gone.
In all reality.....it's God's call. I just need to turn it all over to him and let him work it out the way he wants.

My dh works with an Oncologist.. ( she is not mine and she has nothing to do with my treatment).. she told him about a month ago that when their patients get to the two year mark, cancer free, they ( the oncologists) stop worrying about them.. as this is when they feel things are clear...
So ladies..... WE ARE GETTING CLOSE! Genia... you are gonna MAKE IT GIRL!
Thank you all so much for your prayers for my dear mother. She is still in the hospital and we hope to find out more tomorrow. She is out of pain tonight. ( all the prayers for no pain did it..Thank you)
