Karen- so excited for you!! I get that way with my grandkids if I haven't seen them in 3 days!
Off to a good start today..walked 20 minutes on the treadmill and hope to continue with more this evening. PT appointment for garment fittings today at 1. My girl and I both have terrible stuffy noses! Come on now!!! I just finished 7 days of antibiotics!

Just fascinating, Ruth, especially the last picture. Just love it!!! It tells me a lot about Roman society. This was not a lady of high virtue, and their preferred body type is also fascinating. The Playboy Centerfold of that time.
I can't wait to see more art as missing that side of my life. Just bought a book on Symbolism and painting.
Agree that you can walk miles in museums. Enjoy the rest of your time in Arizona! - Claire

Runnermom...a survivorship appt??? with a medical professional or is this a survivor group? never heard it put that way before. TT

Claire, you are right. The Romans had a much more relaxed attitude toward nudity and sexuality in general than is common today. They also believed art should depict people as they really were; warts, wrinkles, buldges and all. Here's one more not so shady lady; Apprippina the Elder, a resident of Pompeii who was known throughout Rome as a great woman. If you look closely, you can still see remnants of the red paint that once covered her hair.

Loving everybody’s photos!
My back and neck and shoulder finally calmed down enough for Pilates yesterday and a (slow careful) ski today. According to the new exercise app I’m using, my usual ski route is 7.4km not 4 km like I thought! And today was ski # 12 —- one more time than last winter. A lot of Finns are complaining how winter is continuing, but since the on-the-lake ski season started almost a month late this year, I’m very happy with the weather right now

Ladies I am finally back. Been dealing with too much nerve pain but have been getting on the dreadmill and lately doing leg weights at the gym. Also following WW again and have lost 5 lbs so far in advance of my May 25th vow renewal. Determined to work through all this and stay up to date on these boards. Have missed y'all.

Hi Scottiemom! Good to see you. Sorry you were having pain.
Ruth, I live vicariously through you, you know. Don't apologize for posting great photos.
Claire, awesome workout.
Today we hiked at the Mohonk Preserve. A little more like a stroll as the little DS is not such a fast trail walker and stops to pick up sticks pine cones and the like wing the way.0 -
Scottie: I wondered where you had been. So sorry about the pain you've been having. Congratulations on moving throught it plus your 5 pounds you lost.
Varga: Hope you start to feel better soon.
Ruth: Great pictures!
Falconer: Enjoy this week!
Hello to All. Well, I push mowed for 90 minutes today. What a difference doing it when the temperature is in the 50s as opposed to the 80s and 90s (and humidity) of the summer. It was almost delightful! After a short rest, I walk/ran at the park. Now it's time to take a shower and then cook dinner. Have a GREAT evening everyone!

thanks for whoever said it....I have to make time for body exercise and creative exercise. I'm finding I don't prioritize those things, and then I start feeling a bit gloomy about the daily flow of "work, sleep, work, sleep"
Have yoga class tonight. Now I have trigger fingers in both hands (thanks letrozole ). Will have to be on elbows rather than hands.

I am enjoying my last Arizona day. Early tomorrow we fly back to I'm not sure of what kind of weather! I took a lovely walk this morning and have been cleaning, organizing, packing ever since. Next, I am going to sit outside and read! First, I'll finish off my virtual Arizona tour with some television history. Here I am standing in front of the Ponderosa II. In 1963, Lorne Greene (Ben Cartwright of Bonanza fame) built this house in Mesa. The exterior closely resembles his T.V. ranch, and the main room is an exact replica of the set interior. Greene lived here until his death in 1987. The current owners honor his legacy and have gone through the paperwork to have it declared as an historic landmark.

Awesome Ruth! I loved the original Battlestar Galactica, which he was on! Nice to see that the current owners didn’t alter the way he had that house done.

After he died, some people bought it and remodeled the inside. The current owners, who are true Bonanza fans, kept pestering the owners to sell the house to them. Once they finally did, they remodeled the inside back to it's original glory & pushed for the historic landmark designation so it will stay as it was intended.

90 minutes of "breast cancer yoga" love the class, but, since it is a free class you only get to participate every few sessions

Thanks for the tour Ruth. Another hour long gym session today. 45 Minutes on dreadmill and 15 minutes on leg weights. Weather is finally warming up here, so we will begin our spring gardening soon. By that I mean that dh plants and I tell him where.

Woke up to heavy wet snow this morning and it was gone by dinner time...we so needed the moisture.
I remember Ponderosa well....nice that the new owners restored it to its original.
DD arrived!! Its been over 7 months since my DH saw her. It was wonderful to see the hug each other. And my son gave her a big welcome home hug as well. Tomorrow DD has a dentist appointment, then its mother/daughter day...we'll go out to lunch then she wants to drive down to the outlet stores.

Ruth- love the pics. Looks like a great trip.
Scottie- good to see you.
Karen- enjoy your time with DD.
I have gotten in a couple of Zumba and yoga classes along with a water fitness class and a couple of walks on the treadmill. Still spending a lot of time caring for my MIL and between that and work I amtrying to exercise when I can.

Ruth, nice photos and we have been to Pompeii and Herculaneum in the shadow of Mount Vesuvius. We also went to the National Archaeological Museum of Naples that had a room of cabinets filled with phallic erect penises and our then 8 year old DS got quite a lesson. Scottie, welcome back. 2FUN, I'm thinking of running pink yoga when qualified, an addition to the Pilates. Octo, good to read all is going form strength to strength for your knee.
Was up and out to local garage at 8am to have the yearly car MOT as it's due my end of month (passed). Been practicing the new release and wrapping up class for this week and I'm off next week teaching for yoga teacher training. Start that on Saturday and feeling a bit nervous. Most likely will be the oldest one on the course. Off to get hair colored and trimmed with DS who will have a haircut as well. Happy Wednesday everyone!

Hello all!
I can't remember who asked (I believe TrimTab?) about my survivorship appt. It was at my cancer center. They sent me a questionnaire a week before my appt that I filled out and returned. Based on my responses I met with a Oncology PA, social worker, my physical therapist (that I have seen a few times after surgery) and a dietician. I was also assigned a survivorship nurse who will follow me now that my treatment is completed. Sorta like the nurse navigator I was assigned when diagnosed. It was a good appt. Lots of things were discussed and I had several questions answered. It was long so became a little overwhelming towards the end. I think we were there for over 2.5hrs. I do have some mild swelling and tightness in my breast from radiation so have a couple more appts with the therapist who is a lymphedema specialist.
Ran 3 miles after my appt on Monday. Nada for yesterday as we had conferences for our youngest ds. Today I will run 5 miles after work and yoga.

LB, you're the most awesome yoga teacher trainee in the course, no doubt!
Ran 5k yesterday. Tonight going to yoga class.0 -
Yes Runnermom, I did ask. I am now envious that you have this team walking forward with you. When we are "done" so many of us continue to have questions and have no where to go...
Off to Active Yin after school today. TT

LB, ditto what Falconer said. Falconer and Runnermum, woohoo on those miles/Kilometers. Happy shopping with DD, Karen.
Went to for a day trip to the Alsace with my sister and nephew. There were lots of Easter decorations everywhere and lots of steps for me.
