Ruth enjoy AZ! The sun and warmth sound so good! My Facebook memory yesterday was of a family pic at a spring training game from last year. Really missed going this year.

chronicpain - so happy you got to go in that beautiful walk.

    Karen1956 - congrats on a good visit!

Runnermum - I did five yesterday. My time is two minutes off, but I’m ok with that - I’m going for distance now and will worry about time later. I’m also taking an ibuprofen before running and it does help.

Ginger48 - Zumba and the treadmill? Nice!

Ruth yes please do!! Enjoy the game...love the beginning of baseball season! it's a sure sign winter is over and spring is here!

Great job VL! I see we are about the same time frame out from treatment.I started chemo about 2 wks before you and finished Nov 2 and rads on Jan 26th. I need to be ok with my slower pace too. I am a little competitive with my running. Yesterday as I was finishing up and about a half mile from home, another gal out running crossed the street and was in front of me. I could feel I picked up my pace as my mind wanted to catch her. Then I reminded myself that she looked to be a good 10 yrs younger, I had ran 7 miles already and by the look of her bobbing ponytail she probably hadn't gone thru chemo in the past 6 months. I slowed down to my pace after that! 😂

Chronicpain, so glad you were able to get in a nice walk. Walking in nature really helps me, even if it is contemplative, as you mentioned.

All you runners impress me, no matter how much slower you think your pace is!

I did my 32 minute walk with some HIIT running included yesterday.

VL22, 4.5 years post chemo, I have never grown out my hair because I learned my hair looks better above my collarbone, but I still have long-hair envy- beautiful long hair envy.

hi everyone, I've not been to the gym as both kids were home from school. DD at university of rochester (here in town) actually stayed here to see her brother in from Marquette in Milwaukee, WI. DD had a friend pass away 2 weeks ago, so she needed some sibling support. Hag a great time. Even tho I worked. I was "sick " for a half day and DH took off for a fun lunch out. Will miss them!

I have a cystoscopy tomorrow, pray my bladder looks all pink and soft like it did before all of these cancer diagnoses! I am off femara for 3 weeks, so I am going to try to maximize my exercise!

    See you all here tomorrow!

Walk before dinner....sky was very dark....thunder started and then about 5 minutes before home rain/hail!! Fortunately, didn't get too wet... Mischa, my St. Bernard does NOT like thunder...actually none of my big dogs ever liked it. Snow in the mountains, not sure if it will snow in the city or stay rain.

2Fun, hoping you have a good result tomorrow, and that your break from femara helps you feel better!

We did a 3 mile loop trail today at a local park where we enjoyed all the signs of early spring. There are wetlands areas where we saw geese nesting, ducks, a muskrat swimming by, and even the first few turtles sunning themselves. Have a great week, everyone!

2Fun, sorry about your DD's loss. Good she could be with you. Hope all goes well with your scan.

Octo glad the knee is improving.

I ran 5k today in the bright sunny windy day.

Kiki I'm with you- hope it's a good week!

Thanks Falconer for the pose tip! Is your weak shoulder - frozen shoulder unfreezing or collateral damage from AL side effects? 2FUN, hope all goes well with cystoscopy today. Ruth, send those lovely blue sky photos, truly need to see them here in the cold, snowy gray hinterland of Kent. Chronicpain welcome to Daily Exercise and Kiki13, can't recall if you've posted before and nice view of walk you were on.

Was in London on Saturday learning new release #80, excellent master trainer and the 90 minute class was interesting and challenging. Can get started on learning it Friday when the music drops. Got a call over the weekend of a newbie for Pink Pilates this morning at 11, so I'd better get cracking on the lesson plan, jump in the shower and plan to be there early as usual. This chest cold is moving towards less and less, now if I could get my nose to stop running. Let's keep at it!

Spring is refusing to come to New England this year, but we did go for a nice walk on the beach yesterday. Something about the ocean that just gives me peace. Another possible storm Wednesday, but today is sunny and a day for doing errands.

Snow is coming again! It does motivate me to get moving however. 5 mile run today and a long dog walk.

I followed this up by eating 2 brownies after dinner which were delicious 😋.

I know a lot of people get very healthy after cancer experience, but I was extremely healthy prior. I’m a little more relaxed now about what I eat.

Going to Naples, Fl next week - yes! The ocean is so calming.

    Ruthbru - looks relaxing.

Hi Everyone! Just a quick Hello. I've been walking/running on most days since I last posted. Always glad when I do it.

2FUN: Hope your cystoscopy results are good. I had one while on Arimidex because I was having some bladder issues. Luckily it was clear.

Fell off the exercise wagon for several days due to worse than usual back pain/sciatica. Luckily it eased enough that I could do 30 min on the exercise bike. So no muscle strengthening lately, but I guess my heart is happy? Woke up to -19C this morning, spring is dragging it’s heels here.

I have a question for anyone who might be able to answer. I'm currently on tamoxifen and blood clots are a concern. I have a pain in my right leg that feels kinda like a Charlie horse. Should I be concerned? You ladies know how much I walk and I have never had a sore spot like this before. I was at the oncologist yesterday and this just started today. Thanks in advance! If I need to take action...who with?!? Family care or oncologist

When I had a blood clot in my leg, the pain felt like I had pulled a muscle. I would go to the doctor that can see you right away. You will need an ultrasound if a clot is suspected. I waited too long and mine traveled to my lungs. However, I had the pain for a couple of days.

Go to family care.....never hurts to check things out....if it would turn out to be a blood clot, that's when you'd want to have a conversation with the onc.

Thanks for responding. I had blood work yesterday and my oncologist called to talk to me about it. I asked her about the pain in my calf and she just said to watch it for swelling. I can't tell of its swollen or not. I'll have DH compare it to the left leg when he gets home.

Now about the phone call. Apparently I'm post menopausal and she is switching me to Anastrozole 1MG tablet. I'm a little blown away by all this! I have been on the Tamoxifen for 1 year. I have no real side effects other than a little forgetfulness. Before the BC and tamoxifen I had no signs of menopause. I am not ready for another change. Rant over!

I did 2 miles on the treadmill this morning then delivered MOW (to an apartment building for seniors . I carry the meals and push my girl in her stroller) we are back to winter in NC again after a brief time of spring.
