Bone density scans are a piece of cake - takes just a few minutes. Hate it when you have to cancel an appt for rads. So glad rads is way behind me - it was such a nightmare. Still gives me nightmares from time to time.

the appointment shuffle can be maddening...at least the bone density is not bad at all...the least offensive of them all in my opinion..all of you new folks...this babble is the good news. It means there are actually times after finding out about BC that we can just be silly and random and let our hair down. We can fret over things that have no bearing on life or death. Which is no small thing. One minute we may be talking about the validity of flying goats and the next crying our eyes out looking for some comfort.That is the beauty of it...it all fits.

I think I finally have all the gals out of my suitcases and put back in closet until next time. Whew! Were they heavy. Did not know I had that many stowaways. But we all had a good time.

Thanks Sheila- I will be practicing once I get to hotel tomorrow afternoon- then the deal is the next day. Thank goodness the boss is letting some of us go in the day before to relax a bit - he was thinking of having us all fly in Wed morning , do the event- have the reception then hop on the plane and fly back...ACK! hahahaha this is a man who can hop off a plane from Europe and come in straight to the office...not me...he is doing the one day turnaround himself and a few others who have ticked him off ...hahahaha...I will be draggin wednesday night- it is always so weird being the only female...and my presentation style is polar opposite of the guys. I am nervous since this is the first one I have done since BC and I hope I still got *it*...at times my vim vamooses...

Jo, I love the picture you have shared with us from your cruise! What a lovely couple you make. I know what you mean about posting on FB. I only post bc stuff in the secret groups; anything elsewhere is just generic. There is a family member there that I do not want passing on my business to my step-mother, whom I do NOT want knowing my business anymore than she finds out through my brother. I don't think either one would take the time to explore bc websites looking for me & things to gossip about, but of course one never really knows. I have considered not having my 'face' in my avatar....

ok annette- sorry about the bunnies...bring both dresses and decide inthe big hotelmirror...always better anyhow. Make sure you were noe with an inner pocket as I want to hang out and hear you...or hell, if you are introducing us, I will wear my fancy red dress and upstage you! (of course it will be the mini-me version...anynoe on this stream remember the show Land of the giants? Think it was only on one season when I was little but it has a massive impact on me...it is what I imagine when we tell each other we are in the other person's pockets...strong visual! Good luck!

Today is 1 year mammo day @10. Then next week is doctor week: LE therapist Monday, MO Wed. and RO Friday. UGH!!

Sheila - I don't know if my MO does tumor marker tests. I will have to ask about that when I see him in June. He does not believe in "overtesting". If I don't need it, he doesn't do it.
BarabaraA - Good luck on the mammo today - crossing fingers for B9 results. You must let us know.
Annette - I have already found a place in your suitcase and will jump in a pocket when you get to Atlanta. You are going to knock them dead.

For those of you worried about your avatar pic, don't you have to sign up as a member to see the avatars besides the posts? I don't think that if you aren't logged in that you can see the avatars. Correct me if I am wrong. I realize that there are some busy-bodies who may just sign up and try to find someone, but they would need to have NOTHING better to do.

Barb good luck on your mammo. My three month post rads mammo was last week and not as bad as I had worked myself up to it being. The tech was very gentle. Praying for a clean mammo for you.
I have a followup with my RO on Thursday, BS in May and PS(consult) and MO in June. Then decision time. urggggggh
