Thanks, what kind of treatment did you have?
Hugs to you too.... Pam

Pam....
I had chemo, radiation, and Herceptin for 1 year because I was HER+
I had 2 lumpectomies to get clear margin.
I also took 5 years of Femara which was finished about 5 weeks ago.
Were your margins clear from the first one?

you guys are too nice- i typically cannot have a good photo of myself coupled with the fact that I have some real issues about how I look-this one was the result of snapping away in the bathroom at the ritz before going on stage- I was nervous and playing with my camera and was shocked that one actually looked ok-so, thank you all and I thinkyou all are beautiful-and I still love my flying goat- he willbe baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack:)

Now I am worried about something else, I just finished my period and 2 days later started bleeding again and it has been 7 days, the only this is it is not heavy like my regular period just vanginal bleeding and not a lot really weird of course I think the worst... I thik I will be calling my Dr. Monday.

Catching up afer a busy week. I had rads and my breast shrunk several cup sizes afterward over a period of months. I don't know what is typical but that is what happened her.

Meece - My breast has shrunk at least a cup size since finishing rads in Dec but not too terribly noticeable when dressed. I don't know what is typical either.

You know, when I read your posts and it dawns on me how much some of you have been through with rads or chemo or whatever...I just want to give you a bighug

Annettek, love the new avitar - the goat is a really hot chick!
Plils, it's always good to know what's happening next, with some kind of plans of action... that way the fear factor is downgraded to next to nothing.
Not sure who asked about the boob size following rads but mine is still the same. I do still have the seroma so that might be why. Besides it was the bigger of the two to begin with. LOL. I was hoping they would end up the same so it wouldn't be so hard to fit bras. Still hard, still waiting... still wearing the stretchy ones from Walmart from the sports bra dept. Everything else rubs on the incision site and it's been a year already! ARG.

Hi to all you wonderful sister/friends~! I'm back up and running... lol! Honestly we were hit really hard in the Cullman city and county. The tornadoes tore through here and many homes and businesses were destroyed. The place where I work had some minor damage to the roof and as far as I know are still without power, which makes it tough on the residents that live there. We are lucky and our power came back on today about 11:00 a.m. We have been without power or internet since Weds. So many people here in Alabama lost their lives in these tornadoes, I ask that you keep all of them in your thoughts and prayers as they go forward and try to rebuild their lives. I can't tell you all how many tears I have cried over seeing my town and state in total devastation.
My love to all of you that have thought of us during this terrible tragedy.
To all the sisters that have joined us here these sisters are truly amazing and one of a kind friends.
Any of you that are on FB and would like to be a friend you can look me up as Renee Bartlett Loyd. I love sharing with other sisters.
Have a blessed day!
