Granny , your better then me.......................I would say it outright.............."Jesus, does this kid ever sleep"..............or............."you know if you would put his/her ass in the crib and stop holding them so much, maybe it would be better"............or..................."your gonna make a "hold me" baby out of that one, and its gonna come back to bite you in the ass"...............not that anyone ever listened to me.........................they would always come back and say

"Hey don't hold back, Mom, just say what you think"............................yet I took care of 4 of my grandchildren so my daughters could keep their jobs.....................1 until she took early retirement, and now that their way grown up, went back to the same job.......................the other, I took care of her 2 so she could work 3 days a week.................I did that for 13 years.....until my grandson said to his Mom ............................."Nan doesn't have to come over anymore", I'm good, until Dad comes home".................which is only 20 minutes...............I said to him when I heard this "Wow walking home in the rain when you get off the bus won't be much fun".........................he said .........."oh Nan when its raining, you can come"...........love that boy..........and his sister is 10, but Dad is home by the time she gets in................I do miss going.............I look forward to the summer, cause then I have them all day 3 days, and I love it............life can get lonely............but like you said Granny............sometimes "alone isn't bad".............lonely is awful......................hugs

Granny- that is one damn cute lil baby:) Horns and all...:))

I have been just out there spazzing and being undercover but since Sheila found me, my cover is blown. Sigh, it is a relief to get out of the oat suit for awhile:) Jo- that was a very sweet thing to say my friend:)

I will find you guys in NYC>..I will have the dates soon and I can always find GCS!!!! I always have to go there and just spin around a bit. Hell, Sheila, one afternoon with us and you won't wanna leave the city! I can't wait to meet ya:) We can plop our happy butts in Central Park and gab away. I LOVE Central Park...I love NYC...it is in my DNA somehow. I would only want to live there if I was a zillionaire and could live in a magnificent loft in the Village or Soho and that ain't happening anytime soon so i will just count my blessings that I get to go there each year for a little while.

I miss you all. It has just been a busy whirladoodle this life business is. Finally sold the other house! YEAH!!!!! YEAH do you hear me exhaling??? Hubby and I are stll seeing where we are going but it is all more good than bad. Hey! I got interviewed at office today for a short video- boss and company will have a sort article on wall street journal website and it will have this video on there...boss asked me to do it...made me feel really good to be asked ,,,,will only be a few seconds but it was fun. I was so nervous at first and then they had to tear me away from the camera.

WHat a difference a year makes...november 17 it will be one year since the surgery....wow...amazing grace and all that

    Love ya all

Granny that baby is so cute.  I took care of my youngest granddaughter and she had bad tummy problems.  My DIL was in law school at the time and could only take 2 weeks off so I was full time long days with a baby that barely slept and cried all the time.  DIL breastfed. She was born in Sept and by Dec I thought Mimi was going to stick a gun to my head. Did a bunch of research over the Christmas break and found out mama eating peanuts does not digest well.  Called DIL and said don't eat peanut butter for breakfast any more (did  that every day on her waffles).  What do you know after Christmas baby was so much happier.  About 2 weeks into that last semester and DIL was stressed and her milk dried up over night so no more breast feeding and my little granddaughter was a much happier baby. Life was so much more enjoyable.

Sherry---my GD is at the DRs right now...i will tell her about the peanuts tho.i dont think she eats peanut butter.I DO. He got 5 hrs straight sleep last nite so that to me was a step in the right direction...I do think he is starving tho...lets see what the Dr says.If that was me i would have given up by now....but then im not 27 yrs old.she wants to breastfeed as long as possible.im just glad i have a place that i call home and its 2 states away.I love being with them BUT im just too old for this baby crying...i can see on my GDs face sometimes she wants to take a gun to her head too.AND THIS TOO SHALL PASS!!!!yay.

Hey all you beautiful ladies I've been missing you.  I was gonna ask I saw someone post that we couldn't post pics of our grandkids... is that right?  I'm confused??

O.k. now I need to request a little something or a big something.  Please say a prayer for my Great Aunt Ruth... she is a breast cancer survivor and yesterday they diagnosed her with Leukemia and have given her 2 days to live.  She hadn't been feeling well and all of sudden started throwing up blood and running a temp and now she is end stage disease.  Her daughter and grandchildren and totally shocked!  Her daughter just lost her husband to cancer less than a yr ago.  This is heart wrenching.  This is my grandmother's sister, my grandmother that died last August.  Thanks all
