The thing about this picture below is it is so foggy you can't see very far ahead. We are ALL on this path of uncertainty. Sometimes the fog is so thick you can't see anything in front of you at all. What does the Lord ask of us during these times? I think the first thing I want to do is reach out and touch His hand that I know will guide me through the murky times we are in now. I want to hang on tightly to the One who knows what is on the other side of the fog. Sometimes he may ask us to step out even though we don't know what is in front of us. Other times He just wants us to wait and be still. He wants us to depend on Him for everything. Did you ever think it possible in 2020 to have to depend on the Lord for toilet paper.........for food.....to safely go anywhere outside your house? I don't really know what God is doing in this new world we have been thrust into but I have a feeling there are more prayers being lifted up than ever before. I do know that many are searching for answers. We may not know the why of things but we certainly know that God's promises are true and are still holding true now even though we are in the midst of the fog. I believe his promise below is not only referring to heaven, the Promised Land of believers in Jesus, but I believe that promise is for the NOW in the midst of uncertainty. The sun continues to come up every morning, the birds are singing and building nests, life is moving forward even though we may feel like we are in a holding pattern. God knows when we will take off again. Hang onto the Creator of all things. He knows how this is going to end and He is asking us to trust in Him for ALL things.

    Love,

    Nancy

Faith - how is everyone? We are praying!

Nancy, well said. We cling to that verse now more than ever.

The other day our son & family came over to have us videotape his family giving a message for their church up north which is doing a video greeting project. (They go there for his work 6 months of the year but didn't get to go - thankfully - this spring). That was done outside so the mountains could be in the background - then they all came in. (!) We have been SO careful not to make ANY contact with ANYONE so that made me pretty nervous. The 11 year old came wearing a mask but I thought she was just being "cool" and she removed it shortly after coming. I SHOULD have asked if there was a reason for the mask. Anyway, today I am chilled, achy, with headache and sore throat. HOPEFULLY this too shall pass. :o( I don't know yet but pray James doesn't feel like this.

    Hugs from a distance,

    Ade

Ade, I am praying for you that this will pass. I started chilling way back at the end of Feb when I started with this sickness. I would seem okay and then not. Hopefully this will quickly pass and you will have NO other symptoms. Praying for James not to catch anything.

Faith, continued prayers for you and your family and especially your daughter. Let us know any updates if and when you can.

I was really blessed today. I had decided I was not going to burden my friend to get me groceries so I had a plan in place. I was going to go to our store on Thursday very early for seniors and get my own shopping done. I have an N95 mask I bought a long time ago but we are not supposed to be wearing those. I haven't worn it out but I have worn a surgical mask which really only protects others but not really myself. Anyway my friend called tonight and she said I bet your didn't get my text. I had turned my cell off. Anyway she said they were going to the store tonight and wondered if she could pick me up anything. I jumped at that so I have groceries. This friend and her husband are both in their 60's but probably aren't as vulnerable as I am right now. She isn't anyway. He may be as he has had some health issues this last many months. So God is good. I am very thankful tonight.

    Love,

    Nancy

Ade, praying for quick healing and that this all passes quickly.

Nancy, so glad you were able to get groceries. My DH and I just returned from grocery shopping--we haven't been in 3 weeks although my daughter has gone a couple of times, but I still do the bulk of the cooking so I need to go occasionally. I do not get up early well anymore, but we did it. First ones in at 6. Shelves are still sparce but we stocked up as best we could so we don't have to go out again for awhile. I am exhausted. I have washed all the cold things but am out of energy so the rest just sit there mocking me. It shouldn't have to be this hard! Still trusting God for the toilet paper! My sore throat disappeared (thank you Jesus!)

Ade and Faith, we are praying for you and your family.

Chris, I have not been to the grocery store for a few weeks so I don't know what it is like. My friend and her DH brought me groceries last night. I still feel like I am imposing and don't have her get too much. I am still doing quite a bit of carry out but that is getting expensive. Unfortunately my toilet paper order on Amazon that I put in on March 13 just notified me that it will not come until May 26. So you can't count on Amazon for TP in the short term anyway. My friend got me a big package from Costco. I am not a member but apparently they have it in this area. I do hope you feel better. All of this stuff would be a problem feeling well so when we are not it is a burden. I am not feeling well today. I don't know what my options are without making myself more exposed to the virus if I go to an ENT. I have a dentist apt next week and they have not canceled on me yet but I will be cancelling that if they don't.

Wysi wipes are a possible alternative to TP. Amazon does carry those.

Jean, I am glad you are safe in your cabin in the woods. Your flowering trees will give you joy in this period of isolation. Looks like you have a nice upper deck and a good view through your sliding doors to see your pretty trees.

    Love,

    Nancy

Psalm 61:2-4 New International Version (NIV)

2 From the ends of the earth I call to you,
    I call as my heart grows faint;
lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
3 For you have been my refuge,
a strong tower against the foe.

4 I long to dwell in your tent forever
and take refuge in the shelter of your wings.[a]

Thank you all for all your prayers. My daughter has recovered from the Covid virus and her DH never seemed to get sick so hopefully they are both immune now. That's a very good thing as they are self employed with their own HVAC business to run and if both were sick for any length of time, it would not be good.

My efforts to get tested ran into a few problems. When my daughter was tested, they were testing anyone. When we went, you needed to preregister online before you could get tested. We went to two different sites and both had the same restrictions. So after driving around for two hours, we came back home. Long story, short, it wasn't easy to find the site to register but our daughter managed to do it for us. Even my doctors office didn't know anything about the requirements or where to find the site online. Needless to say it was a very frustrating day.

So, the next day I went alone to get tested to the Walmart site about 40 minutes away since the long hours in the car was not good for DH. It made his back act up again and his bladder wasn't happy either. I had trouble with using the swab in my nose. Kept sneezing and coughing, sure hope the test is accurate after all that. So now I wait for the results. God is really helping to develop my trust muscles. It's all in His hands now. I'm not feeling too bad right now so if I have the virus it will hopefully be mild and then I'm immune and don't have to worry so much anymore. I'm so tired of the anxiety this virus has caused. And all the time in the car has made my sciatica worse.

Ade, I hope you're feeling better now and don't have anything to worry about. There are lots of symptoms but one that seems to happen frequently is loss of taste and smell, which happened to my daughter. So, if you don't have that problem, you might be fine and not have to worry.

Nancy, I'm glad your neighbors brought your groceries. I know how you feel about asking for help, I feel the same way. So, I've ordered groceries online with Instacart delivery. I've been trying to do it for a couple of weeks now and there were never any times available, but today I was finally successful. I guess they've hired more people. You can chose from lots of local stores so you should be able to find the foods you need. It's more expensive but probably cheaper than takeout meals.

Chris, I'm in awe of how early you went grocery shopping. Like you, I don't get up early easily either. No wonder you're exhausted. You're so right, it shouldn't be this hard, especially while fighting cancer.

Jean, I love your sanctuary in the woods. Looks like a great place to be quarantined with the beautiful trees to enjoy.

I will let you know my test results whenever they arrive. Hope it's only two days like my daughter's. However they are probably busier now so who knows when I will find out. Sending lots of love and prayers and asking our dear Lord to bless us all with good health.

    Faith (in the future)

I posted yesterday but it vanished - (wish the covid19 would vanish so easily!)

Jean your retreat is so beautiful! Must be peaceful up there. Glad you're NOT in NYC now!!!

Faith I am so sorry it was such a trial to get a test. I am thankful you are feeling better and your daughter is over it now. That must be a real relief! I pray you and hubby will feel better soon after all of that car travel. The main reason we are moving from southwest TX back to Ohio is that our oncologist and cardiologist and all specialty doctors & main hospitals are 3 HOURS away! The drive time alone for an appointment is over 6 hours! Looking at our medical future that doesn't seem feasible. We HAVE a "hospital" in our little town that's only a bandaid station and you get care flighted to Midland over an ingrown toenail! It is going bankrupt even though they charge FOUR TIMES the national average AND expect you to pay what your insurance won't. We didn't know any of that when we moved here 8 years ago - or that we would even NEED a specialist! Yep - good time to move whenever we can.

Nancy I am glad you got Costco TP! (Remember the good ol' days when you could actually CHOOSE the brand of TP you liked?) I pray you feel better soon and won't even NEED medical care. This thing can't last forever. This may give you hope for your mom - I read where 39 nursing home patients RECOVERED with the use of Hydrochloroquin! I pray your mom's facility has that wisdom IF it would start there.

Thank you so much for your prayers. That day I feared that "this is it!" I felt so bad. Then yesterday I was completely back to normal! I am thanking the Lord! James has been fine except for the occasional migraines and his meds are helping. He is now on the Hydrochloroquine for fevers so I pray he can't get the covid19 now at least. He applied for the PASS Program grant for his $1500/month Praluen injections (which he was approved for last year with our income) in NOVEMBER - and we STILL don't have it through! They don't just tell you why they aren't moving it forward and you wouldn't even know unless you call for an update on the status. Everytime it is something else holding it up. We even resubmitted the application. We sent it with delivery confirmation and the last guy told us they didn't get it! Then he actually checked and said that now we need a letter of necessity from the cardiologist (who ALREADY filled out and signed his part of the application) to be sent to our insurance! James has spent 4 1/2 HOURS ON HOLD trying to talk to the cardiologist's nurse to request this letter! This is SO frustrating! Pray we can get this application for the meds approved soon please - he needs them! So far we have been able to get samples from the office once a month when they have a clinic here - but now we can't even get through to ask for that! OK - rant over. God does teach patience the HARD way!

Lord bless and keep every one of you dear sisters.

Jo, thank you for posting the words of Martin Luther. It puts things in proper perspective and answers a lot of questions. We are all responsible for ourselves and those God sends in our paths.

Jean, my son moved out of NYC a few years ago and bought a house in Mahopac similar to your surroundings. He also now works in Connecticut. I am thankful he made those moves it--and he is too!

Ade, I am glad you are feeling better. I cannot imagine all the challenges you are going through and continue to pray for solutions for you and James.

Faith, I am glad you finally got tested. What a hassle. I had got an email from this lady I really don't know very well and it was a group email mentioning testing at Walmart. She lives quite a bit out of town so I wonder if that is the same place she was talking about. It sounded like you had to do your own swab. I hope you can find out in two days. I am so glad to hear your daughter has recovered. That is a big relief I am sure. I hope your sciatica won't continue to be a problem. I have looked on Jewel's online ordering and I can't seem to figure out what to do. I am not seeing the things I want either so I gave up on that. I haven't looked into Instacart but I know several weeks ago the workers threatened to strike because they were dealing with exposure to the virus. Not sure how that ever turned out. Glad you got it to work.

Ade, I am glad you are feeling much better. I think I may have caught what you have. I felt awful today. I am praying for James to be able to get this financial help for the meds. I can really sympathize. It is so frustrating when you need something and people you are trusting to follow through on things drops the ball or whatever excuse they give. I do hope this med that James is on now will help his fevers and possibly ward off any Corona germs.

Chris, I am glad your son is not in NYC now. That would be frightening.

Joanne, isn't it funny how things can be so relevant that were written so many years ago. Wise words indeed.

I would appreciate your prayers for wisdom for me. I can't go on feeling sick like this for many more weeks. My primary doctor didn't want to give me anymore antibiotics but really didn't say what I am supposed to do. I have had some sinus drainage but not enough. I can still hear the stuffiness when I talk. I feel sick and dizzy. I see him on May 1 and thinking that feels like an eternity. He doesn't think I have the virus but I don't understand why the antibiotics didn't work.

Karen, did you have another infusion today? I hope it went well if you did.

Have a good night dear sisters.

    Love,

    Nancy

I shared a reading before Easter that God’s silence is not His absence. As part of my prison ministry work, I always sought purposeful readings to share with the inmates and stimulate discussions.

The following reading is courtesy of Jason Chestnut of Baltimore, MD from a Facebook post dated April 2, 2016. Accompanying his post was a photo of the crucifix by artist Guido Rocha, entitled The Tortured Christ. It is a disturbing image and truly complements the reading, however I will let the reader seek the photo on the internet if interested. I do not want to offend anyone with the image.

Tonight's sermon prep for tomorrow with God's people at St. John's Lutheran Church (Parkville, Maryland) is brought to you by the tired, old images of Jesus we have been spoon-fed in our society - and how they often distort the radical reality of the Gospel narratives.

Specifically, the moment when Jesus returns to the house after his torture, false imprisonment, his shameful and public execution in police custody - and, most importantly for the purposes of John's particular resurrection story we hear on the second Sunday of Easter - after he was abandoned by the very friends and followers who had promised, who had shouted, who had outright BRAGGED that they would never, ever abandon him.

(Peter wins the award for the most tone-deaf of them all, saying "Even if I must die, I will *not* abandon you.")

After all of this, and with the doors of the house where they were meeting locked because of deep fear (which is the reason they ran away in the first place, when Jesus was arrested; now they are on the radar of the most sophisticated Empire in the history of the world in their occupied city, and their days are numbered), Jesus shows up.

This dead guy. Is standing before them. With his scars still visible; maybe even with dried blood and whip marks and a bruised face - this "Savior" was supposed to be dead. And he shows up.

Now, given the prevailing narrative of our society today; given the extraordinary amount of films and TV shows that have buried deep into our collective unconscious; given the fact that presidential candidates are actively riling up their bases by promising full and unmerciful revenge on those who have wronged "us" - how can we imagine Jesus saying anything except, "I'm back, you pathetic assholes. Get ready."

And yet. Jesus says, "Peace." And he says it more than once.

To none other than these sad and weak disciples who, when he needed them most, turned their backs and saved themselves.

And we continue to forget what Jesus went through. We continue to unthinkingly present a pristine and photoshopped (white) Messiah to fill our liturgical spaces and comfort our theological intelligence.

But the Jesus who came through the locked doors and offered a peace that the disciples didn't deserve and a grace the disciples didn't earn - he started a movement the likes of which our world has never seen.

And he didn't do it with the revenge we so desperately crave and so ardently worship on altars across our cultural Christianity.

The man who introduced me to prison ministry was the beloved deacon of our parish. He gave the homily every third Sunday of the month and ALWAYS concluded his preaching by saying:

May the peace of Jesus Christ always disturb your life. Deacon Terry Philpott

Jean, your Magnolia tree looks like my poor daffodils that were almost completely covered and beat down to the ground. I hope you had a rebound in the weather like we did today. It was a nice and sunny day today. Stay safe.

Goldens, thanks for sharing. Being called to a prison ministry is an awesome privilege and I am sure presents unique challenges compared to other ministries. God Bless You for being faithful in that. Are you still doing that now?

Faith, have you heard any results yet? I am praying for peace for you and your family.

I found out all of our VA offices are closed! I have emailed my VA agent but I don't think I can do anything with my application until they reopen. They are working from home at present.

    Have a safe weekend everyone.

    Love,

    Nancy

Nancy and everyone who has been praying for me and my family, thank you so much. I finally received an email today that said my virus test was negative so that's very good news. However, it's also not very satisfying. It simply means I was negative last Tuesday when I took the test and that's all. How can we be sure we don't catch it someplace unless we are in 24 -7 lockdown which we have been, but it gets harder everyday. Even though we have our groceries delivered, how can we be sure the delivery person is taking all necessary precautions? It's all just too much sometimes.

I think it is making a lot of us very anxious. We took a walk today since it was beautiful and sunny. Talked to a neighbor who is also very high risk and he said his back started hurting last week and his wife's neck was sore. They wondered if maybe they had this awful thing. Neither of those are symptoms that I have read about but I understand their fears. This thing is making us all crazy. We think everything is THE virus. We need to just let it go and LET GOD take care of us.

I'm praying for all of you here and for an end to this pandemic we are going through. May God help us all!

    Love and prayers,

    Faith (in the future).

Faith, I understand your fear and those of us who are nervous about every little potential symptom. Our world needs the peace of God.
    I cling to John 16:33

33 "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

Faith, that is great news. I am glad you got out and took a walk. I did too and it is so refreshing to get out in the air and sun for a change. When my friend brings groceries she doesn't come into the house but passes them to me. When I have all of them I get rid of the plastic bags asap after putting my groceries away. I wash the counter tops where they were and then thoroughly wash my hands. Periodically I will wash the doorknobs, handles on the frig and microwave etc. I feel like that is all I know to do and then try to relax in that. So that is just what I do to alleviate the fear of bringing in the groceries. I am trying to use the time when I feel up to it to do some needed house work a little every day. It gives me a feeling of accomplishment and it passes the time. I just watched the documentary on a Pandemic on Netflix made before this pandemic. Bill Gates was saying that it is not if but when there is another pandemic and our country is NOT ready for it. The hopeful part for me is that in a very short period of time I country did get it's act together enough to slow the curve even though we as a country were making up the rules as we moved forward. We are still not ready in the testing area but to me it shows how when we all come together to work for a common good positive things happened. Many prayers have been lifted when we realized we were in trouble and God is answering those prayers. Many lives have been lost but millions of lives have been saved by people staying home as much as they can. Good will come from this and when we all look back on this we will see the amazing things that happened during and after this awful time. Our online sermon today was God is merciful between the crisis and the cure. Our country has pulled together and there is such an outpouring of love and gratefulness to our essential workers and first responders and all those working on the front lines with the Covid 19 patients that it makes me very proud. There were wrong turns and missed chances and all of that but we have to deal with the now and how we will move forward. I think we are at a very crucial crossroads and our President and Governors have to make the right call. They get one chance and then no turning back. We need to pray that they call it right when they open up their States. I feel like NOW is an extremely important time to be praying for our leaders because no one wants to go through this again with a resurgence right when things are beginning to look like there may be light at the end of this tunnel.

Have a good week dear sisters. Chris, Amen to that scripture!

    Love,

    Nancy

Goldens, good to hear from you (though WE would say AIREDALES are best!) :o) My husband was the jail medical director and worked closely with the chaplain in that ministry. We're still friends with her and now she pastors a small church in Springfield Ohio. She, by the way, miraculously survived stage 4 pancreatic cancer by God's grace. He certainly wasn't finished with her and that gives hope to all of us!

Jean - your poor beautiful tree! We were rejoicing that finally our little lilac bushes we planted by the front steps were thriving. Then yesterday we discovered one was EATEN down to half of its size by the deer! SO sad! I surely hope it will survive.

Faith, I am thanking the Lord you tested negative but surely understand why you are still concerned. We are all on edge at every new symptom that this may be IT! Yes, we HAVE to let go and let GOD! But it is really hard to do isn't it!

Nancy, about the groceries - we are getting ours by Walmart or Amazon home delivery ordering online. We leave the boxes out on the porch, take the groceries in to the coffee table and spray/wipe each box/package/can down with antibacterial spray (I posted a link to it here a few days ago - it is for the bathroom but is natural and kills 99% of germs, is available and under $4!) then let it all sit for another day before we put it away. The bug can live on CARDBOARD for 72 hours! James is a nurse, My mom, sister and aunt were nurses and I worked in a hospital for several years so we are GERM CONSCIOUS and don't take any chances. Someone said that if you were offered a bowl of M&Ms and ONE was poison - how many would you eat? Also you mentioned you had an N95 mask but we aren't supposed to wear those - that only meant don't go buying them up so the healthcare workers don't run out. YOU are at risk - and already HAVE one so DO wear it! And the other thing that gets my husband is their telling us that the mask is ONLY so OTHERS won't catch germs from YOU. That is not true. The government backtracked and apologized for that false info. They were just trying to keep people from depleting supplies of them. Germs will not stop on ONE side of the mask and NOT the other! They protect us too. We want you to be safe, sister.

As far as I know we have no cases here out on the "far frontier" as they say. But we are still cautious. James did by local groceries first thing in the morning and few people were there. He wore a mask. It was WONDERFUL to have some FRESH PRODUCE!!!

YES! We pray diligently for our leaders, first responders and healthcare workers, for God's protection for all of us and our loved ones, and for God's peace! We pray a worse pandemic is not lurking down the path - but Lord make us ready this time IF it is!

    Love to all of you,

    Ade

I just found out that the nursing home next to my house which is separated by an empty lot and which I have been walking by the last couple of days now has 34 infected residents and two deaths. I just saw a firetruck go by which is not an uncommon thing but I wonder what is going on now. It is strange because I had just looked up a list of suburban Chicago long term care facilities and they were not even listed even though they have more infected than all the ones listed. My neighbor sent me the link about it.

The workers from that facility many times will walk by my house when they are on break.

I have been in contact with the VA agent I was working with downstate. Trying to figure out how I am going to get forms to him as he will have to sign in place of my Mom. He is being very vague on just how this will take place since no in person appointments now. I also contacted someone in my area and I have heard nothing from him. When I saw him at Christmas time and realized my claim was rejected because of his wrong info he gave me I think he is scared of me now!! He was pretty macho and cocky when I first met with him. He was very sheepish when he told me he led me astray. I was very upset but I told him I understood and they were new forms and new rules which he didn't receive any training. He probably thought I was going to strangle him. Yes, the thought crossed my mind.Devil

Last night was one of those sleepless nights until very early this morning. I just don't have the will to look at the application let alone work on it. I started the application all over again in January and then with PT, sickness and all I haven't looked at it again. Lord I need your help and your strength to do this again. Knowing time is of the essence I need a miracle!

Nancy, I am praying for your miracle. This is absolutely frightening so I will pray for a protective bubble for you and the mountains covering the VA paperwork to be moved also. God knows your struggles and is a very present help in times of trials. My heart wants to reach out and bring you home here with me. I pray God will cover you with His wings.

Thank you Chris for your compassionate heart. I may have just got my miracle regarding the VA. I have been emailing my VA agent and he said I could do all of this electronically if I sent financial statements etc. I said does that mean you will fill out the forms for me. He said yes. Even though I had printed them all out in January and typed in a good amount of info I was so relieved. He will send it back to me for review so I cannot tell you what a burden lifted this feels like. I will have to wait for some more recent statements to come through and there will be alot of scanning but I am so happy that he can do this for me. It is funny because I didn't feel like jumping into this application and that is not like me at all. Now I see why. I would have done it all for nothing. God is good.

Yes, the nursing home situation is pretty scary. I have felt pretty secure in my home and really hadn't ventured outside too much but the days I walked I went right by that nursing home.

We have our Homeowner's meetings in the basement of this nursing home. They held off on our last one and I am sure will not be having any meetings for a while. I know I don't want to be entering that facility any time soon!

Ade, I need to go back and look at that disinfectant you were talking about. I am running our of my wipes and I ordered an alternative but they aren't supposed to come for a while.

    Love

    Nancy

In the middle of a pandemic the Lord still paints the skies! This was tonight's majesty.

Your photo looks like an oil painting, Ade. So gorgeous!

Nancy, I am so happy the VA agent is doing the right thing. God is very good!

Faith, I'm glad your test result came back negative for COVID-19. You are right. It's only a snapshot in time, but reassuring nonetheless.

Praying for safe and healthy days ahead for one and all.

Jean, your Magnolia tree is beautiful. I really miss the opportunity to go to our local Arboretum (which is temporarily closed now) and take some pictures of their Magnolias and Redbuds.

Ade, your photo is gorgeous. Continued prayers for a financial break through for James needed meds. How is he doing on the new meds he is taking now? How are you doing?

Hershey, yes, I think he is dealing with some guilt regarding my past application. My trust is not completely there with his ability to understand just what forms are to be sent because my directions and what I had been preparing for seem to be different in what he wanted me to send. Unfortunately I already told him I would work with him again and then afterwards this VA agent in my area responded to my email to him. I have to trust this was God's timing and it will work out somehow. How are you managing working from home? Is it less stressful or more complicated?

    Take care dear sisters.

    Love,

    Nancy

Nancy, thank you for asking about my work. I feel much less stress working from home but do miss seeing my friend. She is retiring in May, so we may not see each other before then. We text, email, and talk via Google Meet, but it would be nice to wish her bon voyage in person. We'll see. Maybe everyone gets called back to the office sooner than our supervisor is thinking.

    Hi girls!!!

Chemo # 6 is today, so that means I'm half way done.....YAY!!!!
This past week has been ROUGH. The worst one yet, but that was because I ended up getting a UTI. Who would have thought that a simple UTI would knock me on my butt?!? Goodness, I felt horrible. No fever, thankfully.....but I felt miserable. Exhausted, weak, limbs felt heavy, nauseous, etc. After 2 days on antibiotics, I began to feel human again. Of course, I know that our immune systems are shot while on chemo, but knowing and experiencing are two totally different things! LOL!

Anyway, I am doing much better now and hopefully, my blood work comes back good so I can do treatment #6 and be half way done with this nonsense.
I hope that y'all are doing well. Much love!!

Etnasgrl, congrats on being halfway done with chemo! Yay!!! And BOOO for the UTI. They're not fun any time. Thankfully, I haven't had one in years. Wishing you blessings and good blood work results today.
