dulci right after my mx i had people taking my bp from my arm in my groggy state i told the nurse to stop that from happening, thereafter this was a sign above my bed asking people not to do that so you are smart to get that started.

I just got my purple honey plunge Freya bra and i am exceedingly happy.

i might be turning into a freya bra hoarder.

i purchased  many fitted sportsbras, but the bras that were the most comfortable were the two i purchased from www.contourmd.com. which was a front closing surgical compression bra. It lasted longer and was the most comfortable by far. this bra was also the most expensive but in this case for me "i got what i paid for".

Ladies.......just FYI......I am in the process of updating the header on this thread. Only problem, I am away from home on my ipad

with sketchy 3G Internet. I am doing it in little pieces, so please bear with me, and I will get it all tidied up as soon as I can!

In the meantime, please PM me with your favorite bras and I will try to add them to the header. Thanks!,

I'm a little wirried my merena won't get here before my exchange, so I went looking for a backup sports bra last night. I didn't find anything front opening, but I did buy one. It's no Freya, lol, but it is very comfortable and soft and supportive. I'm not sure how it will fit after exchange, but my daughter will love it if I can't use it. It gives great side support and the band feels supportive too. I got mine at Kohls with a coupon. But I just found them on Amazon in a lot of colors.

kayb - Enjoy!  I've had them take 1-8 weeks when shipped from the UK.  Norm seems to be 3-4 weeks.

Can't wait to hear your report! Cool

Red lace sets, yep perfect for spicing up the love life. Thx ladies.

I saw the new PS and she doesnt think the capsular contracture is going to get better. We decided to do surgery to release it and do some adjustments. She will put the nipples on at that time also. She asked if I wanted to be under general anest or local. Say what? Nope,I want general if you are cutting me open etc. Good grief! Then she was going to wait 4 mths after my cone head phase to do tatoos around it. I told her I was thinking of going to NOLA. She didnt have a clue. I mainly told her I definitely do not want to end up with the Target sign look I have seen in some PS books. Anyone know who is the best in FL for the tatoo?

Layla2525, I am not sure what NOLA is either, but sounds like you are looking for just tattoo, no build? This gal is in CA does 3D nip tats and I am planning on going to her http://dragonflyink.com/cosmetic-tattooing/3d-nipple-areola-tattoo/, but just a quick google search found me this one with offices in Florida, http://www.permanentmkup.com/areola_restoration.php. Good luck.

Layla - there's a wonderful woman on BCO who is a permanent markup artist snd lives in FL! She does beautiful work. I met her on one of the TaTa Sisterhood reunions and you would love her. Only problem, I can't recall her name on these threads! (I'm getting old, had too much anesthesia, AND I'm not hanging around here like I used to:). I will remember it, though..........

but in the meantime, LILAH, can you help me?? I know you'll remember! If not, ask Whippetmom; she will know exactly who it is!

    NOLA= New Orleans, Louisiana.

Took me a while to figure that one out, so I thought I'd tell you right away!! ;-)

Janet - Center for Restorative Breast Surgery http://www.breastcenter.com/ in New Orleans. Vinnie Myers travels there from Maryland  to do 3D tats. His work is amazing.

Val - The gal in Florida who does tats is Judy (Facecrafter is her name on BCO).  She is in Sarasota.

Here is a link to her page:

Judy and Vinnie (in MD) both responded on this thread in BCO:

That's her! Thank you! I also know a woman (used to be here on BCO; we went thru recon together) who went to Vinnie, and she was very happy. Had 3D tats (no nips) done by her PS in CA a year or so before going to Vinnie. She is very happy with the results.

I had Earleen in NC do mine last year.  She did a good job.

I'm trying to figure out a way to have Vinnie do some touch-ups.  He is awesome!

My doctor works with Rachell Hall - www.breasthetics.com/default.h.... Check the link for the foundation info on the left to see a video with pictures of her work. When she did my 3D Tattoos, she even created an “illusion of symmetry” as my right breast is just a bit lower than the left. That is not as easy to notice since I got my tattoos.  Rachell had a book that's been published of her work and I couldn't tell which ones were just tattoos and which ones had nipple reconstruction.  Here's a link to Scottsdale Living Magazine and an article about the work Rachell does: scottsdalelivingmagazine.com/b...

I do most of my bra shopping online but today I was driving back from a seminar and made it to the city early enough to drop into a bra boutique that actually carries Freya in my size! :D

The fitter working with me was fabulous and I learned some things ...why certain bras are better for me than others. She was so helpful! So of course I needed to buy a couple of bras from her. ;)

One of the first bras I was fitted in after my exchange was a Panache. I haven't had good luck buying them online because the cup sizes amongst the different styles varies somewhat...but when it was all said and done I ended up with two Panache bras.

I had SO MUCH fun! It had been a stressful couple of days up until that point and that lady was a gem. I think she liked bras as much as me and she took the time telling me the WHY on why some of the bras didn't work. It was so helpful, she took all the time I wanted. There is no one in my life except you all that I can have bra discussions with and this gal got an earful and she seemed to enjoy it!

    I'm a happy girl tonight.

Here are my finds: this one is BEAUTIFUL!

Dawne-Hope - happy day, pretty bras

I love the look of the balconette bras, the ones i tried have not been flattering. I'll have to go to a store with a bigger selection.

Has anyone been watching "Double Divas"?  Those ladies are too much.

I LOVE balconnette bras! And I have a Panache Porcelain Lace - in red, no less! Wore it this afternoon, as a matter of fact! (To explain.....I spend most of my day in sports bras because I'm a Pilates and barre instructor :). Congrats on a successful bra-shopping experience!

I had to go to Bloomingdale's today to pick up a birthday gift and figured I'd look in the bra shop while I was there.  Discovered they are having a clearance sale with unbelievable prices.

I got two bras (both in my size -- 36DD):

This Simone Perele in the color Mauve (so sweet) -- for $13:

    http://www.herroom.com/simone-perele-185330-nina-demi-cup-bra.shtml

And this Wacoal (I was shocked when I saw it was a Wacoal because it was so pretty): for $14:

I actually got the "pre-sale" deal... which is the rock bottom sale price one day ahead (I had to pay and then I go back tomorrow to pick up the goods... tomorrow you can simply GET these prices -- go go go!)
