I am here and chugging along...the last 6 weeks have been crazy, but in a good way...
I have so much to catch up on!

Well, I am back again. Missied the last few days because I was visiting with Shells43! I was so glad she and her DH came and stayed a couple of days. Their DD goes to Duke and they came up to see her and spent the nights here. I had such a good time. They are such sweet people and we plan to do this again whenever they come up to visit DD. I just love all my 2010 Sisters. You ladies have helped me through so much of my journey into this new world of ours. Just wanted to let you all know that I appreciate all the support and that I pray for all of you everyday. Okay I am getting emotional now so I'll be back on tonight.

Yes the 2010 sistas are the best of the best.....Thanks to all of you we are here to enjoy each others stories...laugh and cry together....and yes hugggggggggggs too.

I'm BBBAAAAACCCKKKKK!!!! We stopped overnight in Jacksonville with friends, and then had lunch with our son and his FIANCE in Deland this morning!
Oh Elisimo, you are a PEACH!!!! Did she tell you she made us dinner and peach pie?? She and her hubs are good people. And Daisy, oh my, what a cutie-pooch!! The hummingbirds were incredible....
As soon as I get unpacked I will get some photos posted of our visit.
Things Elisimo and I have in common:
1) Play the violin
2) Love birds and birdwatching - own binoculars...
3) Have December birthdays (raging Sagittarii)
4) Have the cutest dogs
5) Have Katies
6) Collect lighthouses
There might be more, we will have to find out more next time.
Sometimes we need to remember that there are some blessings to be found on this journey. What else would have brought us together?

That's right K - I never change still look like a bag lady reject with a shirt that is at least 3 sizes too big! Reminds me of how big I used to be.
It was so good getting to visit with Shelley and her DH. We still have a game of Domino Train to finish, next time I will have found the batteries so we can get the sound effects too!

2 weeks ago I met a sista called Veggy.She posted a pic of the 2 of us on the fuzzy romp room and the bonefire of the goddess...thats the only 2 places where we meet.What an awesome experience....She lives in the next town as my family does in PA....hope to see her often.

This is a little out of the ordinary as it is about someone who had touch many lives with her compassion and encouragement and not one of the 2010 Sisters but.........for those that know Marybe - (reposted from another thread) if you know Marybe or she has impacted your life this my concern you.
Update on Marybe - BarbA was with Marybe earlier this evening and told her all the names of the people that were sending prayer, special thoughts, love and hugs to her. She said Marybe smiled when she hear the names. Barb plans on reading all the posts on Marybe's thread tomorrow. Everyone is welcome to posts as all will be read to Marybe.Go to community.breastcancer.org/for... and post your thoughts and feelings for Marybe and Barb will read them tomorrow. This link is to page 40 and so it may not be the last page, but just reading all the posts from others show what an encouragement and inspiration Marybe was to us all.
I dearly love both Marybe and BarbA and have had the opportunity to meet them both and know how special these two sisters are. Off to bed for now, it has been a long Memorial Day.

Oh, no! So sad. How are you all doing? I read that Barbara was there. I have never met Marybe but I have met BarbaraA and Amy Jo and any friend of theirs is a friend of mine. I'm so far behind on reading posts. When did it happen?

I miss Marybe sooooo much. Still no word to express the loss I feel. She was one special friend and I enjoyed her visits, phone calls, cookies, and posts. Always so encouraging and supportive of everyone. She definately left us that knew her a lot to live up to.

Omaz and Grannydukes - thanks for the hugs. I am in for the group hug. I am doing better today, every day gets a little better. Marybe is still in my heart and always will be. I think things are getting better because I am trying to follow the example she set for us all.

Well, let's see. On Tuesday our Turkish student arrived and moved in, then on Friday our Chinese post-doc moved in. Its been a busy weekend getting everyone settled and oriented. Today was our son's birthday so we drove over to visit and take him to lunch. Katie is back in classes and working at the BD coffee shop. How are you, Jimmy, and Daisy? XOXO
