Annette, nothing special tonight, just steak and veg.

I've been flat out all day and now I'm pooped!........lol.......the legs held up long enough for me to make tea and now I'm sat I don't think I could move even if I wanted to........lol. I must say, the kitchen/dinning room change over is almost complete.....yay!!!!......what a job!........so much for a swap over from open shelves to a cupboard.......I forgot just how much stuff I had on those shelves and there was no way I could fit it all in the new cupboard so other cupboards have had to be sorted so I could house stuff that came off the the shelves!!!

I can at last see the floor and what is left on the table is just put away things that need to come upstairs and I didn't have the energy to do it tonight. The only thing I need to do tomorrow is finish painting the shelf for the sound system and install it then wash the floor. I have been vacuuming as I went so at least that part is done. I will surely be glad when its finished and I can get on with other things that need doing before the wedding.

    Have a good night all!

    Love n hugs. Chrissy

looks like its head down and bums up or everybody just veging out.  what ever you up to ENJOY. i am off to do my dishes and clean my kitchen and  change bed. the sheets need a good a  wash,  cats and dogs so mess house up, come in with their tooty's in the window, they don't care. so will do that, while i have house to my selffish. it is easier to do stuff when hubby not here, shssh, i did not say that. have a good day busy ladies.  Where do i start???

well i did my dishes and one of our cats called Bubba, she is white and deaf and i think Partically blind. but you would never think so as she  seems to see when you hand her food she likes like chicken. Anyway she is rather small, and  very gentle till  a few minutes ago. she decided that she was bored or needed some stimulation and each cat that came in and out of window, she decided  to slap on the arse any of  them that came in and went out the window as they past her, then she saw a FLY, and  you could see that she was anticipating this to be more of an exciting challenge.she decided to play with it which was on the lid of a box and what  she did  not  know, that in that box was a sleeping cat, Carla and her paw all of a sudden reached out and  slapped  bubba across the face. she gave  us both a hell of a fright, so i think little bubba has had enough stimuation for now and got down to do her fav thing of all and eat. i dont' who out of bubba and i got the biggest fright actually. it would of been good on a video. lol back to the cleaning.

Kylie.....(((hugs))) & as the other girls have said, hopefully he grows out of it...

If its any consolation, my sister who is 50, has had epilepsy all her life & I would say it is 99% under control with medication, she hasn't fitted for years & has a normal happy, healthy life...... Doesn't make it any easier hearing that I'm sure xx

Chrissy....glad the house is pretty close to being organised, it sure is hard work though!

We got the upstairs all cleaned & sorted for our daughter & future son in law to move in yesterday & I have to say I was knackered afterward..... I even worked up a sweat, had a bloody sore back last night even though hubby did the majority of it.....can't help myself, I always do more than I should!!

    Annette....still loving your stories....lol

Still quiet on here, quiet day myself today after yesterday.....out for a nice lunch with hubby & short trip to the shops for a few bits n pieces.

    Have a great Sunday girls...

Annette I love your stories girl! I could just see that little cat and the surprise that awaited her......hahahahaha! I'm still laughing!! I agree, it is nice to have the house to yourself that's why I'm ever so grateful that my DH has his shop to go play in........lol.......at least for eight hours a day sometimes longer he is out of my hair and I can get things done.

Karen, I don't know about you, but I seem to run out of steam literally! I start off great guns, good stride, easy bend etc and as the day goes on the stride get shorter, the bending gets harder, the arms really don't want to move and everything hurts! I sometimes feel like one of those old windup toys that goes like mad and then nothing.......lol......you know?.......then give it a flick and off it goes again for another minute or two..........only problem is, there is no one to give me the flick and get me going again......hahahahaha!

I guess everyone is sitting around dissecting yesterday and what will happen now.........I can't be bothered......it's done and we have three years before it can be undone so get over it and get on with living.

Enjoy what's left of your Sunday however you choose to do it.

    Love n hugs. Chrissy

Delvzy congrats girl!!!!   Five years is a huge mile stone!  I'd say being a little emotional is okay as a day like today brings back a whole lot of memories that we'd all rather forget.

    Hope you celebrated!!

    Hi all

Yes, Annette your stories are a laugh, you never need to go outside your own home to have something funny happen.

Chrissy I voted liberal, I always do so you can blame me, Labour always spend lots of money. Allthough we have Liberal here in WA but their pretty hopeless.

I haven't been doing much just still trying to find a new job, my job at Coles is driving me crazy. We had a survey about work last week and I told them exactly how I feel, they don't know your name when you do it, thankfully.

Hope everyone has a good week

Aussie, I too am busy looking for another job but there doesn't seem to be much around in my field at the moment....I'll just keeping plugging along....

Delvzy, congrats!! I'm coming up for one year at the end of October and I'm already getting nervous.....

Kylie, so sorry to hear about your son....my DH also has epilepsy and is 100% controlled with his medication...I understand that there are new and better drugs all the time so hopefully it will be easily controlled.

    Cheers to everyone!

Delvzy.....congrats on 5 years, that's an awesome milestone & I understand our emotions which I'm sure are mixed with relief...xx

Aussie & Tammy....hope you both find new jobs you enjoy soon...

Chrissy...yes, I totally agree! I'm like an energiser bunny.....lol. Full of beans first thing, go out all guns blazing & by about 3.00 or 4.00 o'clock I'm knackered, on the couch with aches & pains & planning what to do tomorrow. I do enjoy my days to myself also but they're probably the days I do too much......thank god for pain killers!!! But, it is what it is & at least we can still 'get busy'. My family keep on telling me to get a house cleaner (which I'm considering) but I need to get over feeling like its admitting defeat!!

I too am over the election, got to the point on the weekend I didn't want to turn on the telly.....if it wasn't the election, it was the footy.....

Beautiful sunny day today so must get all the washing done before the rain comes tomorrow.....have a great day girls.

First of all, congrats Delvzy. very happy for you.

Well tonight is the night that at least three of our runs will distinguisged and no more in two months time, they require 2 months notice and hope fully we can keep one run which BIL will do, but no drivers ANY MORE. we are employing temps to cover any walk outs, as we reckon that could happen, they dont know the situation, but will be ready to take over and trained up when that happens. or who we have now gets another job. we are trying to  be ready so we dont get into a situation of having noone to cover, and  DH has to have another op and will  be laid up, so he could be outta action too. so the meeting tonight. will keep you up to date.

Aussie, I don't care who voted for whom, I wasn't trying to lay blame: my comment was purely a point in fact.  After an election there are always unhappy people but they get over it soon enough and at the end of three years they can vote again to get the party they want.......maybe.  To tell you the truth, I didn't want either of them so I donkey voted.......yes I know a wasted vote but that is also my right as a citizen.

Job hunting is very stressful no matter your age and qualifiications so really good luck to those who are in the market.

Sorry girls, I'm in a bit of a mood today.  I asked for the key to the shed yesterday from my BH (bloody husband) and he asked me why.  I told him I wanted to get a level out of the small shed so I could make sure the new shelf was level.  Well, when he got home (he had the key with him) he had an old antique one with him which started my suspicion that he didn't want me to go into the shed, or more to the point I couldn't get into the shed.  So....I posed the question like have you filled up my shed again?  I got the answer 'don't start'.........up shot is, I'm not talking to him, I didn't feed him last night and I don't intend to feed him tonight.......he can get his own.  His shop is three times bigger than our house and my shed put together and he insists on filling my shed so if I want something out of it, it just seem that it's a too dam bad thing and I have to wait......sorry, not any more.  I will get that key and I will move all his shit into the drive way into the weather and I dont care.....then I'm going to change the locks once and for all!!!!!

Thanks for letting me get that off my chest.......lol.......I needed that.

Well, now to get on with painting......yes I was so mad last night I decided to punish myself (although I didn't think that at the time) and sand off the back of my dividing bench so I could paint it to match the new cupboard and lighten up the dinning room.  I got it sanded and undercoated but there are a few flaws in the timber that need to be filled before I do a first coat of colour and I don't have any filler so off to the hardware store and then to business!!

    Have a great day all!

    Love n hugs.   Chrissy

Karen and Chrissy, how true that we all have a BH at some point.....mine was being "helpful" by lecturing me on how to get moving to find a job....I had to "not so discretely" tell him to PO....next time, if there is a next time, he better watch out!!

Oh oh!  I think I've started something!.......lol......now all the stories are starting to come out........but it's good to know that we all have a BH occassionally........lol.

Tammy don't you just  hate when they think they are being helpful in telling us something we know or worked out for ourselves weeks before?  looks like some fellas better start tiptoeing around their women for a few days.......hahahaha!

Oh, guess what I found on the bench when I started moving things?  Yup, you got it!  The Keys!!!!!!   Conscience must have gotten the better of him........lol......they are now hidden and if he wants them he has to ask........they say paybacks are a real bitch.

Holes filled and a second undercoat applied now I just have to wait two hours then I can do the first topcoat.  This time tomorrow it will be done!.....yay!  I must admit, right now if I didn't still have wedding stuff to do I would do all the cupboards and the shelves in the kitchen and then the walls.  Maybe I'll still have some energy after the wedding, we'll see.

Talking of wedding I'd best get back to it....lol.....no rest for the wicked so they say.......all I can say is I must be very wicked indeed!.......lol

well the three runs cease to exist from nov 29th, another contracted truck company will take them over, rather than get another owner driver to do them. and BIL will carry on with the other til his contract ends next year in june or july. or that he has  had enough. so the end is nigh. yipee.

Chrissy I had to laugh at your story too.  Yes we all have a BH at some stage.  Mine is being good at the moment lol.  It's our 20th anniversary next week.  We've been together 24 years this month, and they've been a great 24 years for almost all of it.  Every marriage has its ups and downs, and ours have had many, many more ups than downs.

Delvzy congratulations - that's a huge milestone - one I'm aiming for.  I'm coming up on 3 years soon :-)

Aussie and Tammy I hope you find something soon - it is a hard market out there at the moment.  I promise I won't tell either of you how to go out and get a job lol.

I go off to a first aid course tomorrow and Thursday.  I let my retraining go more than the twelve months they want for only a one day course this time, so have to do the two day course again.  But it's probably a good thing, at least it will cement more of it in my mind lol.

Annette - great news from you too! One step closer to what you want :-)

    Have a great day all

    Trish

Mornin all! Well nary a word has been spoken in my house except to the dog but I may report, conscience did get the better of him because he knew he was in the wrong and he has removed his shit out of my shed!.......woohoooo!!!!!! I have custody of the keys so with a little luck no more of his stuff will find its way into my she! Done!!!

I'm still getting used to the lightness of the bench back........I sort of like it but I think it will be a whole lot better once all the cupboards and shelves are done as well. One more light sand and the final coat will be applied. I'm quite happy with my achievement as I have actually surprised myself how well I've pulled up after doing the physical thing. At the end of the day my arms, shoulders and back have been killing me but a little rest, a pain killer or two and all is good again.........lol.

Trish, good luck with your first aide course! You will remember more than you think.

Time to do the washing I think as I'm running out of knickers........lol.

    Have a good day all!

hubby was walking around the depo this morning with a smile and one of the girls said, you looked like the cat that ate the cream, whats that smile for,  he said, ALL WILL BE REVEALED.  they just have to write this confirmation letter saying the date and reasons etc. As i said, Dopey will keep doing his til contract finishes next year. at LEAST we not  leaving them completely destitute over the busy season. they can always hire our trucks lol that they say are too old. or hire hubby as a  extra help to get xmas freight out. he just wont be  in the managment side of it, which is the problem, he will just cart stuffn when they need it on our terms and if we cant, we cant.

lol, are you still doing silent movies in yr house chrissy or have you adjusted the volume and decided to communicate, i think the silent treatment works better. you get more results.
