Cysts aren't uncommon. Had one removed last year myself... Most likely just benign but pesky :-)
Sorry I've been quiet. Busy at work and busy at home. Really trying to get into going to the gym and have been working hard at it. Not lost any weight or cm yet, but with doing all these weights I am starting to feel stronger. And that's a good feeling.
With the change from Tamoxifen to Femara the majority of my depression has lifted but the random pains I get have remained. This past week I have started getting shooting pain in my stomach (upper abdomen) in the evening when I lie down :-/ Last week I was getting back/shoulder pain again. I'm just sooo over being in pain EVERY day.
One more week till I start my new position as Centre Manager of the Australian Children's Clinical Trial Centre. I don't even have to move desks, but am changing responsibilities and staff that I have line management responsibilities for. And then at the end of that first week we leave for our three weeks in France and England.

I know Tammy! I might have to leave that one for a while, till it warms up again:)
Thank you Kylie! Oh Bugger, I am so sorry you have this to deal with now. I hope you can get an Ultrasound soon and that it isn't anything to be concerned about. Take it easy! M

Kylie, like Jenn, I too have had a benign cyst removed...try not to worry too much :-)
Jenn, great news about your gym work, I really believe that exercise helps, even if it's just feeling in control!

Kylie, hope the cyst is a benign one. Sending you ((((hugs)))
Chrissy - I use photoshop, which is probably a bit cost prohibitive for you, ($20per month) but a good one a lot of photographers use is Picasa - it's free. There's always Photoshop Elements which is a watered down version of Photoshop - not sure how much it it or how good it is these days though. You'd need to do a bit of research. But I do know that a lot of photo club people use Picasa and get pretty good results from it.
Jenn - great news about your new job! Keep up the gym work, you'll start seeing cms drop soon I'm sure. I know how you feel about being in pain every day. I'm starting to feel great now that I'm getting a handle on what's causing the IBS. If Femera isn't helping in the pain dept. then maybe you can switch to a different AI. I know everyone reacts differently to different ones. It might mean a bit of trial and error till you find one that suits you.

Annette they are lovely! Next time you post a pic can you make it a little bigger as that makes them easier to see better definition. These are glorious with their different views!
Love n hugs. Chrissy

chrissy, how do you do that,? i tried to and would not go, so i gave up. she says she has heaps of ones even lovelier than them. so would like to know for those. thanks chrissy.

Annette once you have it posted just put your curser on the pic and right click.....it will change colour and have a dotted line around the pic. In the bottom right corner you will see on that dotted line a little larger spot. Put your curser on that and left click and hold and the you can move it in or out and this will make your pic bigger or smaller. Once you get the size you want just hit enter and it will be the size you want and back to the normal pic that you posted.
Love n hugs. Chrissy

Hi allNow my Brother's MIL has lung cancer, as they live in Bundaberg she has to go to Brisbane for treatment, they will be taking the whole lung out. Hopefully it hasn't spread to anywhere else.
I'm on holidays in 2 weeks, can't wait. Just going to stay at home and do some gardening, if it doesn't rain, and organising to go to the Casino with friends.

Oh Aussie, so sorry to hear about that. I hope you can relax and enjoy your Holiday.
Annette, those pictures are so lovely.
Jenn, good news about your new job. I am trying to get the impetus to go to the gym. I know I have to do it!
I just heard that my girlfriend got a B9 result from her testing for BC! Woo Hoo! Take care everyone..M x

Oh Aussie that is not good news at all. ((((((Hugs))))))). If you know her well suggest BCO to her she may find it helpful.
Jenn good on you with getting to the gym! As my PT DD says push for the first few weeks and then you find it becomes a habit that you love. (I tried but there must be something wrong with me as I couldn't form the habit nor did I ever come to love it.....hahahaha!) I am her one failure but I'm not telling anyone.....shhhhhhh! Congrats once again on the new job! You deserve it with all the effort you have put in!
Moira YAY!!! for you GF on her B9 result!!! That is such a relief for her and all who love her!
Trish thanks for the info on your editing program I'll check it out. I'm so pleased to hear that your tummy troubles are settling down as your pain seemed to just go on and on and get worse and worse. How are you finding the lactose free diet? Did you manage to find the lactose free cheese and yogurt?
I have one more thing to do before the op day and that is go get a blood test on Friday and then it's just wait. I organized and registered with Meals on Wheels today for DH and I for the first six weeks after I get home so I don't have to think about cooking at all while I get passed the first few weeks of healing. I was surprised at the cost, very cheap for what you get.....$7.50 per meal per person and that is soup, main and desert delivered Mon - Fri and if you want to have them over the weekend as well they will organize frozen dinners. I did the xray for the anesthetist last week when I was in the city so at last, I think I'm ready.
Hoping you all have a good week!
Love n hugs. Chrissy

Aussie that's not good news, hopefully it will be confined to the lung. It will be bothersome travelling from Bundy to Brisbane though.
Good news from your girlfriend though Ariom - always good to hear it's b9
Chrissy - yes life is definitely much more comfortable these days lol. Lactose seems to be the main culprit. Gluten isn't quite so bad, I can tolerate a little bit, so if I want to have a piece of cake (naughty, I know) now and then it doesn't set me off. I can't have a whole sandwich with normal bread though. Yoghurt isn't a problem either as most of the lactose is fermented out of it. Hard cheese is ok too, but soft cheese is a no-no. I do have lactease tablets that I can take if I have something with lactose in it, but I don't use them very often. Had some over easter, when we travelled up to Sydney to see family for lunch. Stopping at Maccas for a coffee - I had a couple of tablets before the coffee and it cancelled the lactose out. I don't want to take them all the time though.
I had dinner with some friends last week, and we sat and had some camembert cheese before dinner. I took some lactease tablets, but within 10 minutes of eating the cheese I was on the loo and everything went straight through, was not terribly well after that or for most of the next day - so have learned my lesson lol.
Am slowly introducing other foods I've been off, like onions etc, and so far so good.
That's really good value for your meals-on-wheels! You'll have to let us know if they taste good too lol.

Hi girls
Jenn...congratulations on your new job, you've obviously worked hard to get where you are & deserve every bit of it. Well done!
Aussie...sorry to hear of your brothers MIL, there are just so many cancer stories out there it's frightening.
Chrissy...I'll be very interested to hear the feedback on the meals on wheels! I have a friend who's mother who does the deliveries & she absolutely loves it & gets so much pleasure from chatting & giving the recipients company - you may even make a new friend or 2!!!
On a health perspective I am feeling much better. I still get breathless but am able to do a bit more (nothing strenuous I.e. Housework, cooking etc)..... I still need looking after. Although hubby has gone back to work as I can now shower & dress myself.
The days can be a bit lonely but my sister takes me out for coffee or a light lunch twice a week, I have chemo every Thursday so hubby has the day off with me, my parents pop in prob once a week (not that that is the hilite of my week....lol). Friends occasionally but the problem is just about everyone works!! But life goes on & I try to make the most of what I have.
I had a different Silver Chain lady visit yesterday who I hadn't seen for weeks & she was quite amazed at how much better I look.....so that was definitely promising. I keep busy with my trusty computer & knitting for my gorgeous grandson who continues to be a joy!
Glad to hear everyone is doing ok & I love keeping up to date on everyone's news.....sorry for those I missed but my memory does let me down these days.
Must go my need daughter to take me for this weeks bloods.
Luv n hugs.
(((Hugs)))

He smiles & giggles now & even has a chat which I love most. I was the first one to get a giggle from him so that was pretty special.

Karen - he is SO gorgeous and so are you. I'm so glad you are feeling better.

Karen, what beautiful shots they are. He is so beautiful and has a lovely nose and defined chin, a lovely looking little man. He'd never be mistaken for a girl! I adore babies, I love the smell of them! My Husband actually warns people if they let me hold their baby, I'll be sniffing the baby's head!
I know that picture was taken in Hospital, and I have an idea of the terrible time you've had, but you look really gorgeous and he is so content lying there. I love that you got the first giggle from him, that's special. I remember my Daughter having some words that were always said with a broad Scots accent, they were the words she learned from my Mum and Dad and that was special for me to know there were things that were so special and specific to them. Like you, they absolutely adored her and wanted nothing more, than to spend time with her. There were times when I would have to almost fight to get her home if she had stayed over with them, they loved having her so much.
I would have loved to be the same kind of Grandma, my Mother was, but my Daughter says she doesn't want children and with no partner since a nasty break up, I am not holding my breath.
I look forward to seeing more pictures of your lovely boy. Take care and enjoy every moment! M x

Karen! Yay!!! How lovely to see and hear from you and hear that you are feeling better........ Your GS is the most precious bundle of joy for you and I know you will try to stay with him for as long as possible coz that's what Grans do!
Those photos are the best and we can see the delight and love in your face as you hold him and getting that first giggle sure is precious!
Trish it's good to hear that you are getting to know how to handle your food hassle..........I laughted when I read about you and soft cheese as for a treat, I decided to have a cheese platter dinner the other night as a special treat for DH and I. It's something we both love but rarely do and it was simply ages since the last one........anyway, we got stuck in as you do when you enjoy something and then I had problems in the bathroom the next day and the next and I thought what the? Then I remembered the cheese.....doh! It was so long since we had a dinner like that I had forgotten it really binds me up so I think between us, no soft cheese for very opposite reasons.......lol.......a good pair as my mum used to say........lol.
I'll let you all know what I think of the meals from M on W. Apparently in small country towns that have a hospital they contract the hospital kitchen to prepare the meals but in larger places they have their own kitchens. I know the food from this hospital is very nice as they have a really good cook but I also know that my mother who lived in the city didn't like them at all and went to another organisation. I think it just depends on who the cook is but I'll surely let you know what I think of the ones here.
Moira it's a bit disappointing when your child says they are not planning a family at all.......my second DD made that decision. At least I have four boys from my other DD and Son between them and they are now heading for adulthood. The eldest is 18 and the youngest is 15 is I guess I'm not likely to be a great gran for many years yet as boys tend to not want to marry early......sigh. I'm like you when I get my hands on a baby, the first thing I do is smell their little heads as they smell beautiful!
Have a great day all or what's left of it......lol
Love n hugs. Chrissy

Hello Racy! Same from me, wishing everyone the very best!
I am amazed at how warm it has been the past week, raining tonight and a bit chilly. We have the Yacht Club end of season Dinner Dance on Saturday night. Haven't a clue what to wear yet, I haven't been to anything really dressy since my surgery and have already given away all my low neck tops.
Thursday morning is the Biggest Morning Tea, so some of the girls from my Pink Ladies group are going, it should be a good morning. Last week we were invited to a lunch held by the Waratahs, who are a very large BC group in the region, who have been going for almost 20 years and have done lots for women in the community who have been Dx with BC. It was at a lovely country pub. The week before we went to lunch and the Movies to see The Other Woman. These are a wonderful group of women, different ages, stages and all with a different story, about the same subject.
This little community really does a lot of fund raising and gives lots of support to everyone who is Dx, many who are very isolated, on farms and small towns. We have a McGrath Breast Nurse who introduces us all and keeps in touch with everyone.
Chrissy, I had to laugh, you're a baby sniffer too!
Take care and sleep tight everyone! M

Oh Karen, you warm my heart, sooo good to see you and to know you are feeling better. That little sweety on your lap is adorable and his grandma is looking pretty good as well. lovely to have you back. xxxxx i think i will save the pics. for keeps sake.
Well the boys have their liquidation meeting in Wellington. very cruical meeting, it will conclude alot and determine where to from now. they may take trucks to pay the debts or think there is not enough money to do anything anyway or go in front of a judge, they are pretty nervousas its more of a summons. after the drivers and accoutant took alot of funds, there wont be alot left. That accountant will be lucky if we dont take hm to cleners. charging us for filing the gst returns that he never did, we did the gst and hubby and i filed them onn line on our computer. he had the gst and it sat in his office in a box for over a year and we got in the poo with then tax dept. so we took it back. BIL did it and we filed them and that drip is charging us, for work he has not done.and the boys are going to talk with liquidators today as he also charged us for the info they wanted, not even our worry that stuff, but has done what the call creative accounting and changed to BIL farm account, he charged us three hundred bucks to pick up the folders from him. RIP OFF> better go now, catch ya's. XXXX
