aye Racy, my best to you as well. xxxx
I forgot to say, yesterday i went to the new exersise gym, same place as the dietician, and weighed me and same scales. and i had lost 3.3kgs since last wed. but i had not dieted and i am going thru something weired with eggs, i can only eat them scrambled, i love poached eggs, but the yolk smell turns my tummy and eating them like that, boiled, . turns myb tummy up, so wisk them with milk and i can handle them better. strange, last couple of months, been that way.
hubby just rang, they out from the this meeting, dont know how it went, so i will hear later.

Alyson, great pictures! I hope you have a wonderful time. I saw some of the girls on another thread talking about your "Big Pants" and how they were looking forward to catching up with you.
Hi Kylie. another baby sniffer!
Hi Midnight, glad all that awful stuff is just about over for you and your family. Can't believe that accountant did that to you and thought he'd get away with it. How dumb was that?

Annette so happy to hear that it's just about all done with the business but that accountant needs a bullet! How dare he do that! I sure hope you have some come back to deal with him. Hang in there, almost done!
Lol Kylie I think most of us would be baby sniffers as they always smell so sweet!
Aly I checked out your pics and they are fabulous! What a lovely place Prague is! Keep the pics coming as we all like to travel.
I've spent the day do alterations to jeans.....what a job! Haven't done this sort of thing for years but these were just too long in the rise for me........I think the manufacturers all think we are long of body........for me, the length between my waist and hip is non existent......lol. Never mind, just about done and now I have the machine and over locker out I may just get up enough energy to make a couple of easy wear T's to go with the jeans.
Have a good night all!
Love n hugs. Chrissy

Hi girls, they have a meeting next month, with these liqidators and have to wrire a list of the things they own etc. so not quite over yet. but they mentioned the accountant to the liquidator and she saw red and is going to speak to somebody, she has never heard of an accountant doing that and thinks that his practices are being done ftraudantly, the company is a seperate identity, which is limited, LTD. it is a seperate identity company, so if he i can't get money from the company, he is trying to get it off us and that is classed as fraud and double dipping and charging doing stuff he has not done. so he could be in the gun. Anyway better go now, gping to get apples soon.. catch you

Annette I'm glad the Liquidator is going to do something to stop that accountant and put him in his place........he is indeed a thief! Anyway, really glad that things are getting sorted so that weight can be lifted from your shoulders.
Not much happening here right now, just taking it easy although I will put some clothes in to soak shortly so they can be washed tomorrow.......yea, I know, busy, busy.....hahahahaha!
Love n hugs. Chrissy

Stunning pictures Midnight! New Zealand is such a beautiful place. I have been there, but didn't leave Auckland! Should have spent more time there and traveled around!
0 -
Annette those pics are perfect! and oh! so beautiful!!!

Ariom you haven't really seen NZ but then I am a South Islander so very slightly biased.

You're so right Alyson!
I worked for an airline for many years, we had a flight into Auckland every day and I managed to spend time there on several occasions. Whenever I was on the flight going the US for training or for meetings, I always said I would spend some time traveling around New Zealand, especially the areas with some Scottish Heritage, but as with so many things, it got put off. I was 15 months short of being able to retire with full travel benefits, when they made our jobs redundant at the Melbourne Station. So the opportunity to visit all those places I had said I'd visit, when I could travel 1st class and take my time, weren't accessible any more.
My SIL has always wanted to go to NZ and has booked a cruise to New Zealand later in the year. Since we are getting more cruise liners coming to Melbourne next year, that may be something I'll do in the future too.

Ariom - it's well worth the trip - way more gorgeous than Oz IMHO but I'm biased being a Kiwi

Ariom, cruising is a lovely way to see NZ. I have done it.

Hi Racy and Suzie, Cruising is definitely my preferred way to travel these days. Air travel is just too difficult now, when traveling with a wheelchair, but cruising has so many advantages for a carer. We have attendant carers to assist here, every day, but when we travel, it is just me 24/7. There is nothing like unpacking once and no flight delays, or damage to the wheelchair, lost luggage etc. No changing hotels, getting in and out of Taxis at airports, with all the luggage, the list goes on and on.
New Zealand is definitely high on the list, when there are more options and more ships leaving from Melbourne next year.

We spent our honeymoon in NZ Only the north island though, always said we wanted to go back and do the south island. One of the things we really noticed (apart from the absolutely stunning scenery) was the food. Everything was so fresh and so delicious.
One day ... sigh ...
DH has had his hips scanned, dr thinks he might be close to having to have them replaced. Seems like this year is going to be another high medical bill year.

Hi allI'll have to go to bed early tonight and try and sleep because I have to start work at 3am tomorrow !!! There's a stocktake tonight and I have to go in early and key it in, I'm meant to do 8am to 5pm on checkouts so I would much rather start early and finish early.

Carol....that early? UGH!!!? Better you than me girl!.........hope you find something a little more civilised soon.
Aly hope you are enjoying your trip!
Trish I'm sure once your DH has thos hips replaced he will feel so much better..........yeah, the expense can be a bit of a pain but worth it in the long run.
Moira, I wish I could get my DH on a ship but uh uh! No go there, not even on a river cruise.......he said he was on a ship to come to Australia and never again as he gets sea sick. I did try to explain that ship stability has improved over the last fifty years but he's still having none of it......sigh.
Well girls, ECG and blood work done, last massage treatment done for six weeks, hair was cut this morning and the hearing aid is adjusted and paid for..........just the visit to my GP tomorrow and then home for two days and then an early trip back to Adelaide on Saturday morning as admittance is 8.00am so will be leaving home at 5.45am. I am not looking forward to the early morning rise and travelling that far on an empty stomach!
Just sitting at DDs house with Raven curled up at the other end of the couch.......she is such a cutie!
Take care all!
Love n hugs. Chrissy

JHi Chrissy, I am very fortunate, never been seasick and have been in some huge seas, but I can understand how someone would never do it again, if they had been seasick. Colin and I did a 28 day cruise a few years ago to Singapore an there were days when most of the crew were seasick. My Dad was in the Navy and on Cruise ships and he always said that there was no sickness that comes close to being seasick, it never happened to him, but he knew of men who had to give up the sea because of it.
Well, it sounds like you have it all well organized, I don't envy you that trip on an empty stomach, I don't like that either! But it won't be long and you'll be on this side of it and the healing will begin!
I wish you a comfy few days before you have to be admitted and I hope it is an uneventful surgery, and speedy recovery! M x
