Great time today. Wonderful lunch loved loved loved meeting Linda and Debbie. Looking forward to both of you joining all of our lunches. Enjoyed seeing all my friends. I don't know how I would stay sane without your friendship. Gave my donation to the casino and made it home to get back in the car for dinner. I just got home and I'm pooped. Betty do you need to come live with me? Ds went on a bike ride with his friends and one of his friends dad. He rode next to him all day which was good. Agreed with me about the safety course too. I was glad he was with him. His friends rode in front of him and dad was at his side all the way so they kept him safe.
Off to bed as soon as tucker goes to the bathroom. Hes wide awake could be a long night.
Love n kisses to all.

Hi all you lovely ladies,
Lunch was wonderful last week. Enjoyed being with everyone. Debbie and Linda it was so nice to see you again. Betty, I also donated to the casino, boy what a bad day.
The infection has gone away. I removed the offending stitch and stuff on monday afternoon and saw the ps on tuesday. He said that there is no cellulitist and no infection still there to put a topical antibiotic and that it should heal in a week. It looks good now.
Pat and I will be heading to Lancaster, PA tomorrow for a couple of days. It will be nice to get away with him. Not sure about all the train museums he wants to see, but then he will have to go shopping with me. There are always trade offs. Have a great 4th everyone.
Hugs, Cheryl

Hi everyone,
Well, I did it! I finished my radiation treatment yesterday! Rang the bell 3x & then had a massage! Felt really good this morning knowing I did NOT have to go for another treatment!
It was really great to finally meet all of you! Enjoyed being w/ everyone & learning a little bit about each of you! Looking forward to the next luncheon!
No big plans for tomorrow; might go to the lake on Saturday to my sisters' cottage.
Hope you have a safe & healthy 4th!
Love, Linda

Heymoose glad to hear the infection is clearing.
Just started making red velvet cupcakes for our celebration. Cream cheese filled with cream cheese frosting and blue sprinkles. My mom would've been proud. She was the queen of decorating. Going to put. Red white and blue flowers on her grave. Then home to cook. Small group today. Just my sister nephews ds and maybe friends. Enjoy your celebration and please say a prayer for all the men and women who made it possible.
Love

Hi Everyone!
Linda, so happy you have finished your rad treatments....must have felt good to ring that bell!
Just wanted to share my good news here....our younger daughter, Karen, became engaged yesterday. The 4th of July is her favorite holiday and it was one year that the two of them were dating. No date set yet, sometime next year. Cheryl, may have to get some tips from you on mother of the bride dress shopping.....yours was exquisite!
Hope you are all enjoying this hot muggy weather....better than the cold and snow if you ask me. Take care, Jan0 -
Jan, Congratulations! How exciting for you & your daughter! I'm happy to be done w/ the radiation.
Thanks Maureen for the hugs! My skin is red and sore but it could have been a lot worse; I'm grateful that it wasn't.
Hope everyone has a peaceful evening.
Love, Linda

Jan yay to future mother of the bride. Great news. Know he must be a wonderful young man if you welcome him into your family.
Linda. Here's to hoping for quick healing to put all of this shit behind you...celebrate girlfriend you've earned every happy moment for the rest of your days.
Karen where are you?
Hi the rest of you wonderful ladies. How does lunch in williamsville sound? Don't want Betty me or Cheryl to have to find a new place to live
Betty how did buster make out at training?
Gotta run
Love me0 -
Here I am, just got in from having my hair done, same color, same cut. Jan, congratulations to you and your daughter and future son-in-law, Cheryl would be a great resource in finding just the right gown/dress for you and super resource of all bridal matters. I am fine with staying at the Creekview for our luncheons, have to pick Debbie and Linda's brain on possibility of car pooling from this direction. Our August luncheon, what date did we pick?, I wouldn't be able to do as I am visiting my cousin after lunch. We could meet at Alex's and leave our cars there and hop right back on the Thruway. Linda, keep applying the lotion, it will help in the healing process, no more daily appointments for you!! That is such a drain on you physically and mentally. Hugs to all, Karen

Hi Karen. Glad all is ok. Hope all the girls can make in August. Just finishing vacation week. I don't like this too warm weather. I don't like cold either. Where can I live that is partly cloudy, rains only a gentle rain at night to water flowers, 70 degrees all the time AND an unlimited supply of chocolate martinis (once à month only). One can dream. Well now I will go and make my lunch for work tomorrow because it's back to reality.
Have a peaceful week everyone

Hi all, our first sport's injury. Yesterday was the first day of basketball camp, his grandfather is also his coach. My grandson went up for a ball, felt something snap and fell. DD took him to a Sport's Injury Clinic, after several x-rays, the head of the tibia is no longer held in place where it should be. They immediately put Addison in a full leg cast to stop the swelling, has to go back on Wed. for x-ray of both legs for comparison, he landed badly on the other foot in the beginning of the season, and I was worried about football - those video games are going to come in handy, he is on bed rest except for bathroom, crutches are already bothering him. I have a feeling we are looking at surgery, he is going to be one unhappy camper!! A sad Nini.

Awes so sorry to hear this Karen. Video games and lots of nini's brownies should help. Love to you all
