Susan have you seen me on the picture forum. There is no fat to be found above my belly button. I'm a pear with no tummy. I think I'm going to stick with these jockey ones. The jocky's sound like they may have more support. I think I'm going to pick up some more tomorrow now that I know I might have to wear these for 3 weeks.
I still think there is more fat on my thighs. He claims I'm trim there. The only place that has more fat than my thighs IMO is my butt. Hope he has enough to work with in the love handle area. Never really though of myself as having a muffin top issue.

Hi!!!!
Well, the laptop issue is still plaguing me, although I was on Cape Cod this past weekend so I was away from the routine of the computer anyway...we were visiting my parents, the beach was great and we dined on fresh-caught lobsters and flounder my father caught that day, I LOVE his fishing hobby! ;-) But now that I am home it's driving me crazy during the week now - there is so much to catch up on but cannot do it well on my iPhone, so just know I'm thinking of you all and sending happy thoughts to all :-)
...you can just think of me as a "lurker" till I'm up and running again!!! :-). I'm trying to check in on you all even if I'm not posting, hope you all have a great week!!!0 -
Dining on fresh caught lobsters and flounder at cape cod?! I am so jealous!!!!

I'm hoping I will visit my parents at the begining of August. I'm looking forward to wellfleet steamers! (My New England Homies know what I'm talkin' about).
0 -
ooooh....I cant wait. A week and two days....Lago I may be back in August too. My brother is hitting a milestone birthday this year.

OK, laptop is baaaaack!!!
I am so excited to actually be typing on a keyboard!
So how is everyone? Looks like everyone is moving along, Susan, you are getting FG soon I think I read? I am asking my PS tomorrow about it, I CANNOT wait ;-) I definitley have a couple divots, yes...I am sure I could live a happy-enough life with them, but if I am a candidate for FG, bring it on!!! I wouldn't mind flattening out my tummy, I feel like I deserve a little "perk" after all this BC stuff, right?!?! I am in no rush to do it, I'd probably wait till after summer anyway as I don't want to wear compession-garments during the summer, we have 4 or 5 trips with our camper planned...I'd look pretty silly at the pool or beach with my spanx on! ;-) ...not to mention the heat would make me nuts!
Lago - exchange is soooo close for you!!! I'll be out of town, leaving Thursday, so I will wish you all the best now!!! Good luck and I have no doubts that things will go great!
...and as for welfleet steamers, I hear ya! My father goes clamming and oystering in Welfleet!
Sue - You most definitley have to get your fair share of seafood while you're out here! It's been incredible. lately...this past weekend was a seafood fest, my dad went out for Tuna this week, I'm hoping to score some when I drop my girls off on Thursday!
I'm so excited - my hub and me (and about 8 other people we know) are heading to Atlantic City Thurs-Mon for a music festival. It's headlined by Dave Matthews Band and will feature TONS of music by bands we love thoughout the wknd, it's called DMB Caravan, Lago - they are also doing one in Chicago...I cannot wait, the kids get out of school (last day) and I am dropping them on the Cape and then it's 5 days of carefree-fun!!!
Susan - quick question, do you live anywhere near George, WA? Dave Matthews does a huge concert-wknd thing every year there at the Gorge over Labor Day. My hub and I have wanted to go for years, but since he works in the school system, it's a no-go as schools are back in session...looks soooo beautiful, though!

Megan ~ concerts at the Gorge Amphitheatre are incredible...the view is spectacular and you lay out on blankets on a terraced hill. I haven't been to one in AGES... but have seen Sting there! It a couple hours to drive there from my house. I would think that would be an ideal place to see DM if you are a fan!
I'm interested to hear what your PS says about fat grafting!

Megan - I will totally be O.D'ing on seafood very soon.....I cant wait. Even my son who hates fish, likes it in New England. Ahhhh. No bickering about where we eat now either!
Well, I saw my PS today. I wasnt supposed to but I had posted my one week post op photos and Whippetmom thought my mx side was encroaching medially from the 1 day post op photos.....I agreed so I went in to get PS to have a look. He said there was some swelling but could see what I was saying and I get to stop wearing the surgical bra for now. But I need to find something else to wear for my swollen girls...no underwire because of the sutures for the left are there.
But my very low key and laid back PS was giddy as a schoolgirl when I flashed him! He was so happy with the result and said he didnt think anyone was going to get a better result than that. I said "glad it was me then who got it!" He took photos too. I wonder if Ill get to San A for the nipple or stay close by? Cost will be a factor.
But as of now I can wear a 32C. I grabbed a VS bra (they have their big sale and after going to three stores and finding nothing in a 32 let ALONE a C, I wandered into VS and there was a BIG BIN of them!)....not much choice without an underwire though. Im not billowing out of it though at all and the fitter said it was a correct fit so unless my swelling goes down a LOT, I think I found a good match. I have to wander over to the Bras 101 thread now. Funny how I keep graduating to new threads!!!

Sue - you sound great! So glad about the girls. Have not seen them, but will look later. That sounded weird! So much to consider....new bras, wires, no wires.
0 -
Annie - its cool. Look all ya want! I never wouldve said that before.
0 -
Sue ~ I haven't seen your new pics yet...will rush over now! ... so Deborah thought the mx foob was trying to unite with her sister foob? Maybe it's jealous of her nipple!
Seriously, the PS doesn't seem to concerned? Was your surgical bra squoshing it over there? Anyhoo... can't believe you are "only" a 32C? .. I bet Nordy's will have ya in a 28F!
0 -
Susan - it was defnitely nipple envy!!!
PS isnt worried right now...I just stop smushing them together. The surgical bra was keeping them from going into the armpit which he doesnt seem worried about that this point.
I can totally believe Im a 32C. Im walking around thinking I should be bigger!!! Im trying to keep my complaining to myself, but I was starting to get used to the 32D I was sporting 2 weeks ago....even if one was a softball and one was fluff..
I put a 32C on at VS today and had the fitter come in....she said it was a pretty good fit and probably shouldnt try a larger size....but I definitely want my Nordies fitting as soon as I can.

Well, there could definitely be some dropping and fluffing that may change things...I think my girls fill out a bra better now than they did post op. I'm actually a little concerned about the FG making me too big! ... I've bought all these pretty bras that fit like a glove! (went ebay shopping!) .. maybe if the fg is mostly in the upper pole it won't make a big difference?
0 -
SusansG my PS is putting the fg in the lower pole for me. At least that's what he said in my last visit to the nurse writing stuff down.0
-
The lower pole? That's interesting..You would think it wouldn't be needed because the implant would fill that in by gravity? I have a divit up top... and the sides (bc side) seem to need it because you can see faint rippling sometimes.
0 -
I definitley think my foobs are fuller now, not 'bigger', but after the drop and fluff they seem that way to me...
Sue, it's good that you went early to check in with your PS, I worry sometimes that my cleavage is too narrow, I was so darn afraid of one of these implants migrating out to my armpit I might have "trained" it to stay closer to the middle than necessary, naked it's fine, but oh well, in the scheme of things I am more bothered by the divots than the "close cleavage" My hub doesn't notice, and well, no body else does either for that matter, I think it might just be me and my critical eye...it's been said before, my pre-bc boobs were far from "perfect" and I shouldn't be too hard on the new girls, either! They are pretty darn cute!

Susan, I have some rippling too, quite faint now - but started out pretty noticable. I think the drop and fluff fixed it, actually. I really don't see it anymore, thankfully - I was nervous about the ripples sticking around. I will feel better when there is no divot, I feel like in tank tops, my bony chest doesn't help give a natural slope into the implant. I think once I get that taken care of I'll be totally pleased. I'll let you know what my PS says, I think I'll have an extra-big dinner tonight and go in all-bloated so he knows I have mooooore than enough fat to work with!
I also wondered if FG would make me look bigger? I don't want to be any larger AT ALL! I'm glad you brought that up, too...I'll try to remember to ask about it tomorrow. Susan, when is you next FG?

I am also heading to MGH tomorrow to get my blood drawn for a study I'm involved in. Dana Farber is running a Study on Young Women & BC. I gave them rights to my bmx pathology, medical records, etc. They arranged the blood draw to occur while I was up in Boston. I filled out like a 40 page questionnaire, took about 45 minutes and I recieve other stuff like that periodically, this will go on for several years...I'm excited to see what this study finds out!

Yeah Ill be curious to see how I feel when they are dropped and fluffed...PS warned me that they may do it at different times since one was an MX. THAT will be lovely! I know I wanted a C...I was prepped in my mind for a C but somehow a C on me is LITTLE....UGH if neighbor didnt have that BA I wouldnt be thinking that now would I????
And yeah I will most definitely measure a D when I go to nordy's...maybe a double? Right now I am wireless...I need like an internet service provider....my foobs are on the wireless network.
0 -
yeah, Sue, you've got DD's comin' when you go to Nordies! I cannot fit in a 32 C at VS, I do 32DD and have bought 34D as the "sister size". When they had that sale last week I went for a couple 34's that I'll wear on the tighter notch. They are just cotton bras, but in the brightest, funnest summer colors! Since they didn't have 32DD's in all the colors I wanted I went 34 for a couple. I fill the cup out the same, but I would much rather wear a 32DD. They'll be fine to wear occasionally. I figured my foobs have done their settling and switching up a size won't be the worst thing...
...I now have about 13-15 bras, and get this, only one is nude, one ivory and 2 black...the rest are hot pink, turquoise, purple, etc!!! I am LOVING shopping for them! I cut myself off, tho, no more VS online for me!
0 -
Well, if you dont fit into a 32C at VS...then how am I supposed to get into a 32DD??? Is it the wire thing again? The one I got today is a wireless but Im not sure if its just cute or actually doing its job. I never had the problem before....complete boob ignorance.

You guys have me cracking up. Thank you!0
-
Rennasus it's funny because the topic does say "Anyone go/stay SMALL (B cup)" I may be the winner at a full B but lets see what I get.
Geez how many bras does a girl need. I have enough trouble deciding which earrings to wear… and people actually see my earrings when I wear them.

OMG, you guys are hilarious! It seems that since Sue and Megan have the same chest circumference....and received similiar cc's of implants (Sue actually BIGGER on one side at least) ...than you would think that you would be similiar in bra cup size? Maybe it's the whole ribcage shape thingy majigger?
0 -
Well Susan remember I didnt have my Nordstrom fitting today and cant wear an underwire yet....but yeah it IS funny. We will totally be comparing when we see each other!!!
0 -
P.S. Im not sure if this 32C I got today is a good fit either....back out shopping tomorrow!
0 -
I can't wait to see the video.... Oops, I mean.... hear about your meeting with Megan, Sue!0
-
WAH HA HA! Ya know when two guys jump up and do the chest slap thing? We'll do the boobie bump!!! 1,2,3 JUMP - BONK - OWWW!!!

Hi Everybody,
I hate when I don't come on for a day or two because I want to comment on so much and miss the chance because the topic changes so quickly in here! I had my post op with the PS yesterday and she was quite happy with her work. Really talking me out of doing any FG to fix the rippling and divets. Her arguments: 1) A bra can hide or "fix" the problems, 2) I'm thin so she's worried about having enough to work with and along those lines, 3) after processing the fat in the operating room, she will only be able to use 60% of what she takes, and 4) the real clincher: FG sometimes leads to hard lumps or nodules which will cause issues for those doc's looking for tumor recurrance. I left the office quietly like a dutiful patient but when I woke up this morning and see the deep groove running down my cleavage area, I'm thinkin' I'm going to fight a little harder the next visit!
And the bra size talk is confusing to me. I need to get to Nordie's. I fit, oh so comfortably, in a 36B, but probably should wear a 34C. BUT, I still fit in my old 36A's too! I'm all over the place. My girls look plenty big in bras but once I put my clothes on, they all but disappear. Do you guys really fill out your shirts? I'm wondering if there is really that much of a difference between 400, 425, and 450 implants! (mine are 400 and my chest measures 30 1/2" around). When I read your comments about filling out the tank tops and such, I'm wondering if just a little bit more would make a difference?
Okay, I forgot all the other stuff I wanted to comment on about the beach, good food, concerts, spanx, etc. But we did make it to the beach this past weekend. 2 of my kids are on amoxicillan. As I packed all of their meds, I forgot my Tamoxifen! I haven't missed a day yet so I was panicked when I first realized it. But then a new feeling overcame me - liberation! Isn't that weird? Only missed 3 days, but still.

OH and Megan, Do you think we really have that much control over the placement of our implants? I mean, if you think you had something to do with final position based on how you took care of them early on, it makes me want to bind these babies in place!
