Passed it on Sassy- great thread, absolutely therapudic.

So today we throw in the digital camera, the laptop computer, the freaking cell phone, the brain that is running on one shared brain cell which was obviously not with me today, hope Hubby who also uses my brain cell was enjoying it.

I have been taught by a pro photographer how to do this.  Frown Twice.  She sat here patiently and showed me how to get pics into my computer.  Also did my own learning more than three times bcz I did not want to call her back, learning curve worse every time, esp w stress from not knowing and should know, I know I should know how to take pics then plug the UPC into laptop and see the pics and choose the ones for eBay items.  But nooooooooooooooooo Yell  and after two hrs of this craziness, I reinstall bz I cannot even see the camera anywhere.  It is done reinstalling, cuz I have done it before, the little other box says so, and does it again to suit me and the little box comes up and says, restart computer, plug in UPC and camera will come up.  So I do.  Then I realize the battery is out of camera, Cry needed recharged so I took it out and could not figure out how to put battery in charger, another issue I always have, Yell same frustration, same lerniing curve, same insanity, same all the time.  And I tried six times today.  So I look at it again, battery will not stay in slot, then realize I was putting it in upside down.  Thank god I figured out how to place the charger into the outlet or I would be running screaming through the cornfields.

Question is ---  Undecided  does one have to have the battery in the digital camera in order to have it work while it is plugged into the comuter?   If answer is no I WILL run screaming through cornfields naked.   If answer is yes, there is hope.

Granny, your comment about "all the crazies in one place" made me smile.  Yeh, I guess that sort of sums up this group of women.

    Also missing Ducky.

Di-Essa, I can completely empathize with you on the electronics.  I have to "learn" the details each and every time I try to do some things.... DH is a complete technophile and geek, and gets a little exasperated with me continually saying "I got a problem here, can you help?" but he always comes through for me.  I am really a very intelligent woman, but this stuff just makes me feel plain stupid!

    Have a good weekend everyone.

I said to myself , I can conquer this, Suddenly it started dialing someone, Don't know what I hit. It's ringing --duh how to stop it --no clue. A person answers. I had to speak b/c I didn't know how to hangup. "Hi this is DS mom, SAS who is this?"  "AH Adam,(tell him about the above) I don't know how to use this thingEmbarassed. Can you tell me how to hang up?" He was very kind, didn't even laugh while he was on the phone.

Everyone Ducky posted within the last 24 hrs on PINKTOBER

Ducky a good Bowen therapist can help too.  My daughter fell and got whiplash a few eeks ago, you don't haveto be in a car accident.  Feel for you.  Sleeping in a waterbed while on vacation I turned over and put my neck out and had immediate puking could not see migraines that lasted for a week, chiropractor saved me.

My worst out of place moment was when I lived in PA for over one yr working  at newspaper so long distance marriage awhile and Hubby visited most weekends.... wwellllllll one Saturday morning I was out of place if you know what I mean, it was horrible, could not even get up to pee, needed a bed pan, somehow we managed to get me to a chiropractor who would see a stranger on a Sat morn, he was  told I had been moving the woodpile, we told my daughter that too.  We tried to tell that to my daughter's friend's mom, and she was like ohhhhhhh yeahhhhhhhhhhh uh huh that woodpile.

Tonight I am throwing Hubby on the fire for ticking me off before I was falling asleep.  If I could just think some bad stuff about him but I can never remember.  Ladies, it is more than electronics for me, it is life and no memory, that is how Hubby got so lucky that I am still here I think, at least that is what I tell him.   : )

Essa, I slept in traction for three years in the seventies. We were in our twenties. We decided to move a woodpile one night after I was in traction. I paid for that one for three months LOL. After that the phrase was " I'm going to hang up now". No woodpile moving after hanging up.

Diana, I can't help you with the picture thing since I use one foolproof method - I hand the camera to my DH and tell him to put the pics on the computer.

    Works every time.

Granny - BCO has a help section that will tell you how to add pictures.  That is how I learned how to do it.  Go to "All Topics: and click on Discussion Board Help Section and then look through the topics.  You will find one that asks about adding images.  I could encourage everyone to print out the instructions.  Hope this helps.

We will be starting a novena Tuesday Aug.14th . I have asked Frank to pick the novena. Please, keep him in your prayers daily as he is being chemo challenged at present. The herceptin has stopped working. We have many members that are having condition changes on the Catholic thread and throughout BCO right now. Please , join us on the 14th.

A Novena is prayers said daily for 9 days with stating the intention of your prayer. An intention can be for a person , group, or a thought. This will be posted on threads also. You don't need to be Catholic. Prayer is Prayer. If something in the prayer doesn't fit your belief system, substitute or omit that portion. We are an Ecumenical group which means inclusive of all.

Send your intentions to me by Pm or post on Catholic thread on sunday (preferrably) or monday and I will combine them into a one list. It takes awhile to do the composite list, thats why I ask that intentions be sent on Sunday, Pax Sheila(sassy)

The camera had to have a charged battery, battery goes in charger right side up it seems or it will not fit, then battery in the camera, camera plugged into the UBC or whatever, then camera turned on then go to devices and the FinePic and see your pictures that are loaded in.  And you can check a box so that when you unplug camera the pics you just put in computer are deleted instead of staying in the camera....  now don't I sound the pro?  Only took me five yes 5 VERY UNFUNNY days to relearn that again.  I will try to remember that I have it written here and in my camera box and booklet, not that it will do any good.  Giving camera to Hubby, he would just throw it in the woods.  Computer too.

Today eBay goes on bonfire again, I listed an antique milk bottle and saved the draft until I could take the pics and the draft did not save.  I listed a vase and it did not list, so did it again and it did not list again, thank goodness the vase was a new template or I would have lost it and thrown the computer in the woods all by myself.

Oncs office called to see why I was not at July 30 appt, did not know I had one that is why.  Why did they make one for me and not even call to confirm the day before as usual anyway esp when I told them, the onc and the outtake person that I will not go back and am transferring files to elsewhere, a Dr. Babu who was rec to me by a raadiologist cryoablationist I liked.  Onc stays on fire.

    Woodpile.

I got something for the fire...

    Being a "lady in waiting "  ...

I am sure the secretaries/nurses have some list they refer to for what words to use when talking to patients..

    "No need to worry"

    "its probably just technical"

    or.. my least favorite..

    "how are you today?"

I would like to throw that list on the fire and dance till sunrise :)

Throwing in the frigging complications after doing the "right thing". pretty nasty reaction to the shingles vaccine, Off all but htn/depression/and thyroid meds. Off Miacalcin that I said caused a huge difference in the pain caused by osteoporosis that was caused by the AI"S.  The vaccine caused some total upper abd pain from liver to spleen stomach and pancreas, head pain, and neuropathy pain of forearms and mid lower legs down. Being off miacalcin>>>total spine/hips knee/anlkes/wrists/ now thumbs have jumped in>daily getting worse, put fentanyl patch on 5 days after shot>>reached pain limit>>>>now rocking. ANY chronic painer will so get rocking.

Do not let my reaction dissuade anyone wishing to get the vacinne. NOT to be taken by anyone with a chicken allergy----I thought my thingy with chicken fell more in the the intolerance range. I WAS WRONG.

into the fire with complications and add some gasoline.

Novena notification update:I unintentionally made it sound as if the novena was just for Frank. Franks change of condition triggered us to want to do a novena. The novena is for all of us on BCO and others that are added by members. The link below goes to the working copy of the combined list of intentions,If those unfamilar with a novena would like to take a look and see how it's being put together. The next paragraph is the first intention.

Dear God---May all, of many Faiths, come together in prayer and support of each other. Jesus Christ,Mother Mary , and the Holy Court of Heaven, hear our prayers for all the sisters and brothers of BCO in this there time of need. Strengthen them and their families and let them not despair. Heal them if you will, or guide them to understanding and acceptance of your plan.

    community.breastcancer.org/for...

So, if you want an intention added for you , or someonelse please PM me any time now. Probably should put this link in your favorites to refer to on Aug 14th. At this point we are leaning towards ST Peregrine Patron saint of Cancer as two members are willing to take the intentions to ST Peregrines shrine near Pheonix Az.

Sorry for muddling up the first communication. It all seemed logical at the time. It was only after multiple messages received that I realized the problem Thanks for your involvement. SAS

The prayer that will be added is said once a day and the intentions are said once a day

The PCP thinks symptoms are from a drug interaction that the vaccine may have kicked off with Aromasin being the underlying culprit. So, it's really a ----we don't know what started it , but now the testing to see whats malfunctioning. Gallbladder is a real suspect, but since syptoms were more inclusive of all the liver and over to spleen. Gb may be bad, Just hoping it's not the rest. Time will tell. Blood work done, scheduled for ultrasound. I know ortho symptoms will subside when I can get back to Miacalcin. But it has potential for liver trouble too. Also, on the way home figured the peanut butter and butter sandwiches that were primary food for a time period before it started --Duh----I quess I put gasoline on it myself. Off Aromasin for good this time. May have to change MO, b/c he said he wouldn't do any yearly testing if I didn't stay on treatment. So, restarted July 27th, vaccine July 31st symptoms started Aug 1st stopped aromasin Aug 3rd.  Of course the new bottle of aromasin came in the middle of this---that's 90$ down the drain.

And planned to move the woodpile tonite and that fell through. Can't catch a break. FIRE BURN BURN BURN.

Sweet schatzi just leaned over and licked my toes. Love you gals have a good weekend sassy
