Thanks Shep! Now I have that image in my head as I try and fall asleep! Teach me to check my phone in bed.
Lover-darn, don't think I'll be able to make it. Just made plans to try and go to the ocean with a friend.

ShepK, that is so wrong! I just had brunch not too long ago. You traumatized both Jazzy and Sensi now too.
Sensi, no worries. The group hike once a month.
Ms. S., have a blessed and safe trip.
Jwoo, they took fat everywhere? Ouchy!!

Lover- yes! inner and outer thighs, tummy, my muffin top sides, my side boob, and my little "tramp stamp" area.
Feels like I've been in a car wreck.
Hoping this is the last surgery.

JeanQ, Yay for getting the drain out!
Smaarty, have a fabulous trip!
Jwoo, wow..I hope your recovery goes smoothly. Gentle hugs!
Shep, I love the meme. Not the one with the man, the puppies...well, adorable. But, I really love the one about options to behaving.
Loverly, I'm sorry about your burning nerve pain. It's just not right that you still deal with that. No boob massaging in public!
My DD's vocal cord surgery recovery was very minimal..pretty much rest for a day or so is all that's required. So, we rested Friday, and Saturday back to routine..she even went to swimming lessons. She is still saying her throat is scratchy, but that should improve in the next day or so. This, is the odd thing..Thursday right before surgery DD said she was sweaty, and in fact, her forehead was sweaty, but she didn't have a fever. I figured it was nerves about the surgery, so didn't think much of it. Since then she has been clammy on and off, but says she feels fine. It's the oddest thing. If it continues, I'll call a Dr.
Sat evening I went out and listened to some music, but today I worked my butt off. I blew/raked leaves for hours...24 bags of leaves! I also ran and got some groceries and did dishes. I'm pooped.
I hope everyone gets some good sleep.

Sorry ShepK," "Bakawkkk" was a call to you, but I just realized that's the sound a hen makes when it is about to lay eggs. I meant to say WhoooHooo
WildT, I hope the sweating is just a side effect of a medicine (muscle relaxant, antibiotics?)that DD is on. Side effects can be different among generics. Some meds do cause sweating. Oh dear! Time to work. Have a good day everyone.

Good evening Ladies,
I hope your week has gotten off to a good start.
Shep - Eewww! that pic was bad, but the puppy pic is awesome. You're so naughty.
How did the joint injections go? Did they work for you? I am going back tomorrow for more injections in my thumbs. I hope all 4 joints, but I'm not sure because I don't know if insurance will allow that, but at least one joint for sure. Knitting has really difficult with these thumbs.
Smaarty - I forget where you said you're going, but I hope you have a great time.
Loverly - Yes, I was trying to post a video of the puppies, but it wouldn't take, so I'll just have to wait until I bring my little guy home and take a pic, then post that. Breeder sent a new video today of the 2 males I am deciding between. One is a little spitfire and chasing brother around. The other (the one with the cream spot on his chin & throat and the smallest of the males) is a more laid back little guy, that prefers to observe. But can be a little scrapper if siblings get too pushy. Breeder thinks he'll probably make a good Therapy Dog. I have to make my final choice by Nov. 15th. There are a couple other people waiting for me to choose, so they can reserve a pup. I decided against the 3rd pup because he is the largest and showing signs of taking after his Papa. Who is 19 lbs. and loves to hunt. Too big for me & my back. Puppy will be coming home either Dec. 11th or 18th. Not sure just yet.
I woke up an hour and a half before my alarm this morning and was laying there all comfortable and warm thinking that if puppy were here he'd be all over me wanting to go outside.
I had an appt. with Palliative Care today and learned that the pain in my Thoracic spine is from bulging discs, due to my muscles being weakened. Thankfully the tumor is still stable at 2.3 cm in T11. Anyway the doctor reminded me that I need to consciously work at streghthening those muscles to keep the from developing further disc problems, or vertebral fractures. I now have to intentionally walk to the nearest store to my apt. and back once a day, to strengthen my back muscles. It is a half a mile each way. Puppy will have to be walked 3-4 times a day, so best to be ready.
I need a beach day! But the weather there is not conducive to it right now. I have lived in Oregon for 10 1/2 years and have never been to the Zoo in Portland. So for my birthday next month, that is what I am going to do. They have a phenomenal Christmas light display during December and there is one day each month that we can get in for $3.00 per person. Apparently there are museums and other places that do the same all over the Portland area. I think it'll be fun.
Patty - So glad your family is back together and you are enjoying them.
Jwoo - Ouch! I hope your recovery is smooth and mostly comfortable.
Sensi - Hope you have a great time at the beach. Will Chance get to go with you? I hope you guys had fun at the Dog Park today.
Waving "Hello" to everyone else. :0)

Lita57 - Mine is Dec. 10. When is yours?

MammaRay! So good to see you - you have been missed. I'm so sorry for the seizures and the scary thought of another surgery. Are you comfortable with your doctors? Would getting a differnent opinion be of any help? You said you preferred to post when you could lift someone else up. Ahhh, don't you know you ARE lifting us up? To share with others and give them the opportunity to show how much they care about you is a gift. Really!
Holding you close in prayer and hoping you will visit with us more often
