I 'consulted' with Donnie about the blonde. He was negative. Then a talk. I think I will do it for a few months.

Feline, the things that come from you......hahaha. I think you would find more dead flies at Shep's. She is one tough cookie!!!
Ms. Sas, the more you know the more you worry. And when you don't know you also worry. There is no escape, is there? Sigh
About the hair, why go blonde?
I like this rainbow color. I would go for it, except my boss might not let me come to work.

Hello everyone,
I have been under the weather for the last couple weeks. I haven't had a headache in 15-20 years. Really! Well on May 1st a headache hit my in the right side of my head, plus I had dizziness & nausea. Doctor told me to go to Urgent Care, who then sent me to the E.D. They did a brain MRI, which was clean. So they dx'd me with vertigo and gave me some Antivert and sent me home. The headache was mild for the next couple days, but for the last 8 days I've had significant pain in my neck and head, with nausea. I had an MRI of my neck yesterday and that too came back normal. But I STILL have major neck pain and the headache & nausea. Pain pills barely help. I've used an ice pack as well, with minimal help. Even went to Chiropractor once. No help there either. I see the MO next Tuesday, so I'll have to wait and see what she suggests then. Was told that if I just can't stand it, I could always go back to the E.D. But all they would do is give me stronger pain meds and send me home. Seems like a huge waste of time and effort. Will just wait till Tuesday.
Smaarty - Beautiful pics of you and your girls. Evie's monkey is cute too.
Feline - I am with you in hoping to see my past dogs again too, some day.
Loverly - Beautiful pics of the Park. Other than the egg mishap, how did your braise chicken stew turn out? Love the pastel rainbow hair. But I think one needs to be young to pull that off well.
However Sassy - For what it's worth, I vote for you going for the blonde idea. It' will probably give you a great boost emotionally and make Donnie do a double take when he sees you.
M0mmy - What did you stuff your peppers with (beef or chicken or turkey)?
We had 4 days of high 70's, with sunshine and dry weather. Today and the next 5-6 days it's back to downpours and temps of low 50's. Mother nature is seriously bi-polar here.
Waving Hi to everyone I didn't address. Head/neck are pounding. Going to lay on ice pack again.
Oh yea! Here is a pic of the Kirbster sitting on my walker at a restaurant. He is a good boy!

used ground beef, brown rice (instant) and a can of diced tomatoes. Topped the peppers with a little shredded

My beautiful DD graduated fifth in her class today from Academy of Art University. Praise God I was able to hold Stage 4 Mr. Cancer in check and be able to attend the ceremony.

Just spent three not so delightful and not so fun hours defrosting and cleaning a freezer.

Lita how wonderful for your DD Great pic of the three of you. Fabulous. What is her particular area of interest in the arts? A dear niece was just accepted to the Academy of Arts in New York or thereabouts.
Junie sorry about the headache and no dx to hang it on. Kirbster looks absolutely great. so alert. A real cutie..Not sure what I'll do with the hair. Just feel like a change. Might just do one of those 6 week non permanent ones to see what I look like.
Poor Donnie has a fever and chest cold. Poor baby isn't used to being sick. He's on the couch. I've only seen him with a fever one other time.
I got over my worry on the labs. Casarsar, (sic). I'll just deal with it. If I have to take that stupid RAI 131 again, I will just deal with it.
IT"S FRIDAY YAY

Sas, DD majored in photography. Her final portfolio was accepted into the Spring Show, and it's about me and Stage 4 cancer. She juxtaposed shots of my ravaged body with shots of Joshua trees, Cholla cactus and desert rock formations. Here's an example. This one is kinda depressing, but some are more hopeful.

Lita - Congrats on your DD's graduation. Glad you got to be there.
Sassy - MRI of neck came back normal, but headache/nausea has still been an issue until today. I went to chiropractor and he adjusted my neck and worked on some muscles along my jaw & upper back. No nausea today, but neck is a bit stiff and sore. I think I am seeing light at the end of the tunnel that isn't an oncoming train.
I took Kirby on the bus this evening and walked him around downtown, through J C Penney and back on the bus. All while working on his commands. He is doing well, plus got some extra exercise.
It is supposed to rain all weekend here. I have got to get caught up with my laundry. Yeah for me!
M0mmy - Despite the fun you DIDN'T have, at least you have a sense of accomplishment now that the freezer is cleaned out.
Feline - These couple of pics are for you.
For those of us in this part of the world!
Goodnight for now. Sleep well everyone.

Well I have a real puzzle. Thyroglobulin and antibodies are normal. With an elevated TSH,it doesn't fit. The first thought a doc will have is I have been noncompliant with the levothyroxine. On time every time. I have had anterior neck pain--suspicious, but MRI and US were negative (pre Christmas). Symptoms of overheating and then crushing cold. Fit's hashi's, but no thyroid left. Guess I just bug the doc.
I live in a medical wasteland. To get really good doctoring, I need to drive to mid very central florida(roundtrip 190 miles) or go to Moffitt in Tampa.(2 hours). Oh well.
Lita, your DD has a very sharp eye.
Patty can I share the pic of your plate?

Hubby and the furbabies gave me my Mother's Day gift a day early. They bought me a nice plant since I told him that they didn't need to buy something expensive

M0mmy, very nice! I'll be picking up some plants tomorrow while we're out and about to put on a set of shelves I set outside this afternoon. I needed something higher to keep the cats and raccoons out of them. Silly animals!

I got a Wandering Jew that has green and white leaves.
Happy Mother's Day to all the gals here even if your kids have paws and fur!!!!!

Ms. Sas, are you talking multivitamin with minerals or iron supplements, or a ppi? These, among a few others meds, can interfere with the absorption of levothyroxine. Hope that is the case. Easy fix. You are right....always something.
JunieB, braised chicken turned out ok despite the mishap. Didn't burn it. Ha! Did Kirby enjoy the company of the ladies yesterday?
Lita, congratulations on your DD's graduation.
