BB- sorry you had some tough dreams. I think there must be part of you that really needs to tell your ex how terrible he has treated you (and continues too).

I think letting someone go you know is not the right one is the best thing you can do for yourself or another. I dated a guy a long time ago who really liked me, but for many reasons, I knew it would not work out long term. He later married and now has a family he adores. I won't say we are friends, but have reconnected in the past five or so years on social media. There will be the right one out there for you BB.

I got my temporary crown done this morning at the dentist. Something about 7 a.m. and the sound of a dentist drill as not a optimum way to start the day. However, it was not bad, although I am super numbed up up to my eyeball on the right side and going to be eating soft foods today. I got back for the permanent crown on 7/14. I have three apts now that week (BS, dentist and eye doc).

Enerva- thinking of you and hoping that you are doing okay. One day at a time.

BB- I hope your face is better by tomorrow. Is the program tomorrow something with some training to help you to get back into the workforce?

I just saw this on FB, and it is synchronistic for me as I went to a presentation in Denver by a woman on emotional intelligence who talked about this.

It is the "I am" and you go through the alphabet and the words can change each time you do it. It is a great way to replace the negative mind talk with something positive. I am working on that myself. It is a neat exercise!

BB- please don't panic. Just get an apt with the MO to find out what is going on with your blood work. Do you have a friend that can go with you if you are scared? They may want to do some scans to rule out anything more. I know others here have gone through similar scares with elevated enzymes and it was unrelated to anything with the cancer stuff. Did you stop drinking?

I received a letter from mo saying my appointment is no longer July 09, due to my Oncologist ll not longer treat me.she is moving on and I am to see a new mo a man. What the hell?

I worry about your liver levels too. Hope is nothing :(

Enerva - Maybe the new MO will be more sympathetic to you.  The change in oncologist might be good news.  I hope the office can give you an appointment ASAP.

BB - You've been under major stress.  I read that stress can lead to elevated liver enzymes, which leads to fatigue and loss of appetite.  So, maybe it's stress?  Please let us know what the MO says.  BTW, I know of free classes in Excel.  I'll send you another link.

BB, did that tornado hit your area?

All - A storm and (reportedly) a tornado passed through our area.  Lots of damage around here.  But no news of major injuries, as far as I know. BB - I hope you're safe and sleeping well.

Jazzy - Yes, the support checks should be good news.  We'll see... While I wait, though, the ex is not allowed to give us money directly, and my car needed major repairs.  So, I ended up really broke, and today my total funds were down to $14.  The gas tank was empty, and the fridge was empty.  I have been very creative with our budget, but I really couldn't see a way around things this time.  I don't want to ask my sons to buy us food...  But then I remembered my sons have a bag full of coins that has been sitting around for a long time.  So, I told them to count the coins and wrap them and divide them up to use to buy food for themselves.  Unbelievably, those coins added up to more than $100.  :-)  So, we now had money...  We were ready to buy food.  But then the storm hit.  Power down.  Trees down.  Power lines down.  Here we were, finally with money, and we were driving around, but no store was open.  At every store, the workers were locking up and turning us away.  Oh,  the irony...  LOL.  My kids have a sense of humor, and we were laughing about our situation.  Luckily, there was one pocket that I found untouched by the storm, and we bought food there.  A beautiful rainbow lit up the sky over that group of stores.  It's interesting sometimes how things work out.

Everyone - I hope you're all having a peaceful night's sleep.  Stay strong.

Life thank you for your history i am so worry about everything with money but you are a great example of courage. I was doing the numbers i must pay $1675 to the condo for some repairs and well i dont have the money i must take it out of my credit card. i am sick of my work but i need the salary every two weeks the trip to vzla was a financial disaster, short history i lost the connection flights and had to pay for other flights to return home. So money is a pain subject i am thinking is there any way for you to sell something, i have been looking but i dont even have nothing of real value to sell. I hope something changes for you and the boys real soon.

BB i am so worry i cant help it. I need you to tell me what is going on with your liver pls i dont pray but you are in my thoughts. It must be just stress

Life- that is good news about the money, but it sounds like you need it now. When will the payments start? I find money comes in the most unusual ways sometimes, like the coins you found. I am glad you found a place to get food. Car repairs comes at the worst time too, usually when we don't have it.

I heard there were all kinds of severe weather. My home town in CT had a small tornado yesterday. I am glad you are safe. Sending love and hugs to you and your boys. You are one powerful team together!

E- I am sorry you had the extra travel expenses. I will say despite that, I am glad you went when you did. Still thinking of you this week with all you have and are going through.

I have had to have the same thoughts when in difficult work, it is regular money until you can find something better. Do what you need now, get what you want later.

Doctors come and go. Many of my docs are older and in the past year, some of them have had health issues, so I have been seeing their CNPs. Continuum of care through the same group will hopefully help you. I hope you like your new MO and find a good connection. I love my MO but see him less now because he had a heart attack and only working PT and with those currently in treatment. I see his CNP instead. Hopefully he will be there to help me if anything comes up. Our MOs feel like a safety net of sorts. I go to mine later in July.

BB-I hope your apt goes well today. Sending you love and big hugs. Our friends here have some other great perspectives on what could be driving the liver enzymes out of balance. I hope there is nothing going on, praying for good outcomes.

June, Milky, and all my other friends here, hope you are doing okay this week.

Any news from the doctor yet, BB?  Someone should've called you earlier in the morning, imho, if only just to put your worries to rest.

Jazzy - My MO is so good that they put her in charge of the whole cancer program, so it's difficult getting to see her now.  I see a CNP there now, too, but at least the RO (radiation onc) still can see me.  As for the checks, I'm expecting them to start at the end of this week.

Enerva - Oh, no, I'm sorry to hear about the extra expense related to the trip and the cost for repairs to the condo.  I've read about ways to bring in money quickly.  I pawned jewelry once, such as my wedding ring, but I only got maybe a hundred dollars for it.  I also tried online work, but it was like working for a virtual sweat shop - it paid just pennies.  One person told me to bring scrap metal to a scrap metals company, and they'll pay cash for it.  So, I do plan to do that.  But, all of these things probably won't bring in as much as you need.  I know you can't stand that job.  Maybe, with the other people gone, the boss will start treating you better now.  In the meantime, it might be a good idea for some of us to brainstorm ways to bring in cash.      :-)

It's good that the blood work caught your oncologist's attention, BB.  Hoping by next week your blood levels look better.

Good news ladies. An RFP (request for proposal) I went in on with a local technology firm has been award to us! Just got the news today. Whoot whoot, I need to call them now that I got home from my morning apts and find out next steps. Probably getting all our paperwork in order on the subcontract agreement. Then when the projects come we will be ready. I am one happy gal! Things are shifting......

BB- it is good they are re-doing the bloodwork. Sometimes our bloodwork changes can be a fluke, repeating the tests will help you to know.

Good to drink a lot of water in the summer. And please know we want you to live too.

BB - i hope it's nothing. i googled a little about high liver enzyme...may be it has to do w your drinking? drink lots of water, and eat asparagus, broccoli, those are supposed to help your liver detox...btw, you can try youtube which can teach you almost anything nowadays....i found so many tutorials about revit. so i am sure they have excel and words up there...

Enerva- I am glad you are going to look for something else. I was hoping those yahoos would do something about this guy, but clearly he has some kind of power there I don't understand. Does not matter though. life is to short to work for bad people. Let us know how we can support you during your search? And love the video.

One of my friends says "some people have hard lives, others give people hard lives."

Here is my humorous thing to share from FB today. Sort of says it all some days, doesn't it?

BB- I am sorry you are not feeling well. Sore throat along with the swollen glands, headache, etc. suggest something like a virus or the flu. But I know what you are saying, anything that makes us not feel good makes us feel like something else is going on. Hope you can get some rest and feel better. You are having a rough week.

Enerva - Looking for a new job sounds like a good idea.  I hope you're able to find something you like. And thanks for sharing that video.

BB - Sorry you're feeling sick.  That job opening sounds perfect for you.  Good luck.  By the way, what kind of peel do you use?  Is it over-the-counter?

BB- good to hear you are going to stop drinking. It is hard to give up any habit, we all have ones we are anchored to and are not best for us. When I gave us sugar, which is very addictive to me, I felt much better within a few months. You may need to replace that with a health habit like taking a walk, doing some yoga, etc. You are now changing what you need to and will become a healthier BB.

Something on the news today says keeping your Vitamin D levels up helps those of us with cancer or reduce chance of it returning. I have been take 5000 iu a day to keep mine in the high normal range after it being very low for years despite taking the 1-2K range my doctor told me to. I remember her telling me they are finding out more and more they are finding out about how much Vit D plays a role in so many things including our bone health, and other things.

So be sure to take your Vitamin D gals!
