I must share with you going back to pages 15 to 25 got me so sad .is unreal all we have been through these past few years

BB- Talking about it with your son would be hard, because he may make him scared about you. We know breast cancer is very treatable, but women do die from this disease still as we know.
It is very hard to hear this news when someone has not been allowed to have a full life. It will never sit right.

OK so I was supposed to clean and organize my apt instead I went to bed and crochet a rose lol ya me too I have been feeling down and crochet makes me happy I hate I have no time for it any more I must study and get my apt clean but decided to crochet a rose and just be in bed .I came back from changing my tires and getting my car oIl changed then had something to eat and that is about it . also stoped at the health store and came right out upset at the price they want me to pay for coconut oil lol $67 what the hell last time I bought it maybe 8 months ago I paid $41 and it was hard for me to do. so noon I can't afford it now I still have a little left so I ll wait to look around see if I spot it at a better price . instead I bought shapoo with coconut oil lol $3.49 on sale at Walmart lol
Here is the rose no finish yet I need to crochet the leaves and cover the stick with green but looks beautiful so far. ll I have time to finish it next week? not sure lol

Morning ladies . well yesterday temperature went up to 20 and today back again to low -2 high 7 is 5 right now. I wish I could stay I'm bed all day . I learn that one of my relatives back home needs antibiotics and they can't find it . I will ask my nephew's in Mexico to search in the pharmacy hopefully they can find it and I can send money for that . my brother in law had an operation a month ago in a kidney and now has an infection vzla situation is the worse when there is no food no money and no medicine . here in Canada we are no allow to by medicine unless we have a prescription so I can't help. my sister from Europe went to vzla for a week and she was able to bring medicine but the antibiotics were taken away from her at the vzla airport off course cuz the guard may need it for his own family is just a horrible situation vzla is in now.
Which also make me hate the way in Canada we do not have freedom to buy our medicine without seen a doctor . I understand it is to prevent people from buying drugs but in many countries the hard core drugs are not allow but things like antibiotics for infection or even a simple cream like fisidine is allow here is all about you must pay a doctor visit then beg that doctor to prescribe you in order to get it and when u go to the pharmacy you go through an interrogation as per why did u get the prescription last time I had a sinus infectionthe pharmacist looked at me like I was faking my infection and I said to her. I git a presentation cuz my doctor feels I needed so may I please have it?
I am sorry but I am so no the same nice persone now I am sick and tire of all the bs people always give me is like I lost the me which was nice tolerant , forgiven etc

E- BB is right about the scripts for anti-B's. However, the US is known for overperscribing pain medication so now we have an oppiod addition epidemic in this country. NM is no exception to that.
When I went to VZ years ago with some friends, we were darned near strip searched for drugs. And I would not be surprised if they took it for themselves.
You are entitled to be bitter E.

yes is very hard . but I am OK I get frustrated cuz in Europe is easier and even in Mexico the pharmacist are able o sell almost any drug off course no oxicodine or things that are addictive . well we can only hope we find a way to send him the med's.
Hope you are all OK bb I honestly feel bad for people with small kids is very hard when they are sick the waiting on line to see their pediatrician and oh another thing I was at the hospital for my appointment las week and I was in the siniors area and it made so Ill I felt so sad I am now so susceptible to seen the elderly in hospitals I am really sorry there is no much we can do so I was thinking if I can make a rose a week by Xmas I ll go and give one to siniors there . I wish the world could be a better one sometimes I forget how much pain is all over. you guys are awesome cuz you always listen to my venting.
I realized I didn't even play the lottery Las week I so need that is my hope lol
Tmw back to the rutine
And hallowin too . it ll be fun to watch people who dress up lol

E - that's a good show. very informative. no matter what's your opinion about conventional or alternative, it's always good to live a healthy life style.
i highly recommend rebounding which the show would probably mention. i developed a very slight LE condition at the middle and ring fingers and rebounding helped a lot.

wow yes I watched the first episode and I liked it so far. brought back memories of me no wanting chemo or rad me getting the mamogram and the pain and damage it caused also how fast my tumor grew after that mamogram. Hi friends- just a quick pop in on this busy week. I woke up early so I am getting some house things done and also some "heads down work" for my project. Super busy with work, but have some on my leads on my team who are disengaged at the moment due to family issues and/or health issues. Two more recently, but then I have another who is a longer term issue. We will be done soon and I will be ready! I am staying focused as the push to go live is on!
June- I am so glad to see you here back on this thread. We have missed you! Are those kitten paws your kitty?
E- that is great you are taking a class for pure enjoyment. I love gardening and have things in pots as well as well as in my regular gardens. I do that too, last summer was music but want to get back to doing a writing class next year. Will post some photos at the end of my patio pots. They had a big resurrence this fall after the hot summer and coolness moved in. No hard frost yet, but know here in Nov it will be coming.
My yoga class was good last night and going to resume doing that wed evening class as I can going forward. The teacher knows me by name and was glad to see me, but I ended up going in 20 minutes late as they changed the time. Note to self to check on those class times periodically as they do change things up. But I was able to get in a good 40 minutes of it and will go again next week! In the warmer months, I do yoga on the patio but getting a bit cold for that now.
A nice compliment from her that helps me along my journey. She knows I had multiple health problems four years ago and told me I looked really well and more recovered every time I see her. She gets my long journey back to wellness and I really appreciated her comment. I am really tired of some who say "you are done with all that now" and just want to move on to their own topics of interest.
Wishing you all a good day and will be back around sometime this weekend!

June- what a beautiful cat. I love the photos and can see she was so special. I am sure she did come back to say goodbye. Just like people do.
I have young black and white cat that has been quasi living in my back yard. She seemed to take up residence when I was away to NYC a few weeks ago. The friend who checks on my house saw her every time she was here and said "you did not tell me you have a cat!' Well, i don't but now I am feeding her. She may belong to someone, but she may not. She is more white than black June, but think B&W cats are cool.
I call her Cali. She is not afraid of me but also cannot touch her.

Good morning friends- we are having a big cycle of rain here for a few days, which is very nice. After the super mild fall, it suddenly feels like fall. I like the rain and we need it badly, but not a fan of cold rain either. Chills to the bones!
My all day conference yesterday was good. The speakers were excellent for the most part, except for one guy who just blabbed on about himself and the educational coordinator who works for this prof group for WAY TOO LONG. Us, Us, us, we are great! Twenty five out of 60 minutes spent on that, and then of course, ran out of time for his presentation which was too basic for a seasoned group of professionals. I would be embarassed if I were the person who asked him to speak at this event. That being said, I connected with several very good people there, and identified some training I would like to do next year. Overall, the day was good and glad to be away from the client site for the most part.
Our national election here in the US is about to happen (for the non US folks) and been working for one of the campaigns doing phone bank since August (with some breaks along the way). Today is the last day for early voting, so going down to spend the two last hours encouraging folks to get out today and vote before the national election on Tuesday. I voted a few weeks ago and love the early voting because you can go during a non-work/client day. I think it helps more people to get to the polls. We wait with baited breathe.....
June- the NYC marathon is tomorrow. Do you know anybody who will run it this year?
E- hope you got through your release this week.
Simplicity- hoping the L therapy is helping.
BB- thinking of you today and hoping you are hanging in there
Lily- hoping you and the dogs are doing okay?
Wishing everyone a good weekend. We loose our evening light with daylight saving tomorrow too (sob!)

jazzy - i am not sure. but i know i couple of my coworkers are runners. geeze...this event is going to paralyze the traffic.
it's nice that you had a good day at work. sounds very exciting.
BB - how's your back? i am so sorry about your divorce, it's still dragging on like this. i really hope there's something better waiting for you down the road (very near).
hope everyone has a good weekend. we are gaining an hour tomorrow....

Well it was a good day until I got caught in one of the worst hail storms yet (I am freaking hail magnet, two claims on my roof to date, now a car). I had met a friend for coffee mid afternoon and we were leaving around 5-ish, when it started to rain but I had the convertible out today and the sound on the roof was pretty loud. Then I looked and saw some pretty substantial hail coming down and pushed to get out of there. The storm was right around the mountains and a sheet of driving rain and the pounding of hail. I thought my wind shield might break and got going west where it was sunny to get out of that storm. That storm scared me, and been more than a few those the last few years.
When I got over to the west side, I looked at the car and the hood has dents, which I knew was going to happen. That hail was about between peanut size to quarter sized. I put in an on line claim with my insurance tonight, and will see what they think about fixing this. I have an auto body shop that fixed a headlight there a couple years ago with a hit and run and will plan to call them on Monday and swing by for them to take a look next week. I have had too many car things lately. I am grateful nothing worse happened and it could have......
I called my friend I met for coffee when I got home and no answer, but hope to hear from her tonight. I am hoping she is okay.
BB- I am worried about ACA too. The program needs to be improved upon as the payers are dropping out more and more. The plan I had last year is no longer available through the exchange and there are less and less plans this year. I am going to be paying about 40% for a gold plan and about back to where I was when I moved from my state plan to ACA. The other programs that were safety nets here are all gone now.
There have been proposals to expand Medicare to the 55 and older group for those not getting insurance through employers. I think that makes more sense at this point and it may go that direction if all the commercial payors drop out. Commercial insurance is better for company sponsored coverage. But I have also heard there are discussions about raising Medicare age up from 65 to 68 or even higher too. All depends on who gets in, bills that go before Congress. I have already told myself I may need to take a FT job again if I loose the ability to purchase my own insurance. There are many of us out there in this situation.
Wishing you all a hail free evening! I won't say we are done with these storms out here tonight.

BB- I have been paying around $4500 per year the past few years, but it is also a business expense for me and covered via my consulting rates. But next year I will be looking at around $7000. That is just for the insurance, there is always more than that out of pocket with co-pays and deductibles. There is a woman here on BCO that says she and her husband spend $50K a year between their health plans and out of pocket.
I don't know what the answer is to any of this, but we cannot have a sick nation.
