June- I am with you. I deal with difficult people all day long in my work, and having quality alone time is rare for me. It is a treat to have time to myself, especially these last few months. Cooked myself a stuffed chicken for a Xmas Eve lunch today, went to the gym for a nice swim this afternoon. Life is good.

Me too I am alone went to bed around 7pm lol watch old xmats movies on TV. I am at a hotel is 3:15am I meant to post before bed but fall sleep.
Just woke up to use the bathroom now lol
My period came and ruin my trip. So I was feeling down as bb says is not so easy every year I am alone for xtmas and u would think I could have gotten use to it Humm nahhh
So I booked a room at a hotel 5 hours away drove all morning yesterday to Ottawa and was exited to check 2 things in this city.
1 I was able to and it is a bonsai place . That was my xtmas gift to myself got myself a nice bonsai. I am crazy about bonsai tree.lol
2 not luck I wanted to go to Ottawa canal is a river which in winter people skate and is supposed to be so nice and well my luck the dame thing is not open yet
as I arrived to the city for the firSt time ever I felt it was a gosht town no one was in the streets and I then knew it was not going to be fun.Got to the hotel check in and went off for a walk to their chinatown area I figure those are the people who do no celebrate xtmas so they ll be open to eat something and sure enough found food lol came back to the hotel and off course my period was heavy so no much I could do but shower then bed. I could have use the hotel gym sauna and pool but no my luck as always
So now I woke up and realize I never post here last night.
I wish you all a wonderful 2017 I wish is a better one for all of us

E- I watched that movie called Hail Ceasar on HBO yesterday and when I saw him in that scene, thought of you. Pretty talented guy! You should rent it sometime.

Hey I am home I must say it was a waist of money that trip but the only good thing is my new bonsai lol also got a new pair of clippers and came home and pruning was a must for my other bonsai plants lol
Here is the new one I can't wait for it to blom
I added some stones to the soil top to make it easy to water . This one is a white gem a gardenia . When it blom is beautiful I also have others but they are all suffering waiting for winter to end so they can go to the balcony
Also my new lime tree I am growing from sead lol on my night table .

We went to Old Town last night and it was packed with people. Saw this cool old VW bus all lit up with lights. A couple others all decorated with the lights came through too, but this one was the best.
Been enjoying the day to myself, but people texting me all day long, so I finally turned off the phone. LOL! Hard to rest when the phone is going off all the time.
I went to the gym for a short work out and trying to get back in to my routines after not getting there for three weeks due to resp stuff and project hours. Yesterday was swimming, today was weights, tomorrow I will do a yoga class. That gives me a good start to getting back into my routines. The weather here is very cold and windy so I had to make myself get dressed and go, but glad I did.....
I hate the gym in Jan and Feb because there are always new people who join and it is packed and things less available when you go like weight machines, lap lanes, etc. However, I reminded myself today since I am on a break beginning in January, I can go midday with all the retired folks when there are less work people around.

Yes my next trip ll be better this was an expontaneous one I just found a hotel for $42 and thought why no lol now I know why no lol
It was just not worth too many hours for a dead city due to xtmas eve no one around stores all close etc
But lesson learned lol

June- I did that about a month ago. Although I watched it when it first started, hard to keep up with so binge watching is the way to go. HBO has the best mini series. Game of Thrones cleaned up at all the awards last year.
The creator of that show lives here in NM in Santa Fe and spotted around quite a bit in town.
Me, I am dealing with some idiots at the client site but only for a few more days.

HI ladies , June there is a new show called western world or westworld and it is the same producer as game of throne it is also very good one season and I am adicted lol
Bb yes I am hoping I create a fun balcony to gang out this summer lol even though I don't have the space inside I have acumulated a few plants which will go out side in the spring . Now I just started an experiment with some red maple tree seeds lol I really want to have one in a pot lol I must say when I had bc I gave ally plants away I was not sure why but after I gave my bird away I felt I didn't want nothing alive close by it was weird cuz I do love nature but I just got rid of all and now in a few month's I am back at getting plants lol is a way of keeping my head busy with other things I guess . Today it was a boring day I decided to through out cloth and papers lol got rid of 2 boxes is crazy how I still have boxes from my move
so I decided to start throwing things away again is something I have been puting off but needs to be done. Gave 2 jackets to a neiborogh who I know lives from food stamps and also is in need . Also got a huge bag with cloth which I will ask him to give away I know he volunteer at a comunitario center so he will bring it and give away for me.I try no to talk to much to him cuz he is an intrusive one and he smokes pot and I can't stand the smell on the hallway sometimes. I must say I do not enjoy been back in this building cuz there is a lot of weird people here jut been close to work is so worth it. No.more train and when the weather is good I ll bicycle or walk I miss that.
Also put in a bag all mom movies most of them religious movies and called a lady I know whom will love to have those. I ll drop it off tonight . And tmw back to work for 3 days .

But it feels good to have gotten some work done. I must do it every weekend till I have no more unnecessary things cuz my new place is so small Bb I totally agree with you. Small space we can't have much

BB- a single gal I know here in town who is a fellow music type posted that tonight. Not too many people ask me that question anymore. Just one SIL who struggles with anyone who is alone and okay with it.
I am signing up for some classes in the new year. One is an on line course for my work I wanted to take on campus this past fall in CA, but was on a wait list. Told myself to do it when I finished my project which is now. They are ramping down on the program so just checking with them that there will be enough time to complete it before the program comes off the on line site. It will help me with the work I am doing now and plan to do more of in the new year.
A friend of mine is also teaching another short story class and going to take that too. I wrote a short story period piece while up north in one of the historic towns in NM and want to polish it up. I love to write stories about my ancestors and also some of the pioneers out west.
Ready for a new year and some new experiences!

i think my new year's resolution is to keep exercise daily. i have not been good at exercising every day. and i felt bad but i am too lazy...i just want to do nothing.

June- when I am on these busy contracts, doing any classes is usually pretty difficult. This one will be during my break between contracts. I finished on site today and have some final closure docs to send to my client tomorrow and then am on my way! I got confirmation on the program end date, and plan to get signed up tomorrow and will start next week!
E- I love cooking in the winter. I made two quiches last weekend and been enjoying them this week. I used to bake bread a lot when I was younger. So yummy right out of the oven.......
I was thinking about Lilly and that I have not seen her on any of the threads for awhile. She is on a couple other threads I am on. I need to go see when she was here last........

I never try bread before cuz of the histories of people saying it WA not easy lol but then I started to get anoid with the price my local bakery is changing me for the bread I like lol $4.99 and it doesn't last long cuz it is a small loaf so I decided to ask my friend YouTube and I was chocked lol what? No eggs? What no milk? What ? No need to knead hummm am in !!!
Now I can make one every week and save $
Plus add more of the seeds I like lol

E- homemade bread is yummy and think better for you. So much junk in most processed food, including preservatives. You will be better off making your own bread without all that, along with saving money. That is expensive for bread too! Food is expensive though......
NM is a lovely place. I know you want to come to the hot springs some time. I decided to do a yoga retreat in another couple weeks vs. going up to the hot springs further north from the cancellation over Xmas. I am making a plan to go to the local springs next week for some soaking time and just need to confirm an apt on some discussions on some new work that have come up.
Today is my last day finishing up this contract work. Freedom is at hand.....

E- yes, it's over! Just sent in my project closure documents. I have a bit of document save down to finish from e-mail and will do that in the morning. I already have a lead on new work and have a call on Thursday of next week on that.
I went to a great yoga class today I have not been able to go to in over a year because I had to do a project call every friday at that time. So nice to go back and a bit less stiff this time. My body is getting back into the exercise groove.
Tomorrow I am going to meet a friend for breakfast, get my hair cut, hit the gym and then head home for NYE. Got a music day on Sunday I am really looking forward to!
I wish we were all on this beach drinking something with an umbrella in it!

Yea, haven't seen Lilly around these parts for some time.
Well, I made a decision Dec 26th. Broke up with E. Via text
I wanted to do it in such a manner he wouldn't call and want to talk. Plus I couldn't do it face to face, he would have sucked me in. I melt when he looks at me a certain way. Anyway, I cannot be a part of a family unit from the outside, so I choose me and my kids. I am actually fine. I love him dearly, maybe thats why I am so okay with it, knowing it was best for all. idk. Going to miss a lot about him thou.No plans for tonight really. I may go to the neighbors or another friends house. Her mom was a friend of mine that recently passed from stupid cancer. She is such a strong young lady.
What plans do y'all have? Anyone going anywhere special? I may just stay at home, idk. Really don't care.
