I have already looked online and there is a little makeup bags with owls on it that I might buy just to be nice :)  I actually just bought a purse from another lady who sells it but it was only because she was selling all her stock at 50% off!

I'm back, I was partying it down with diarrhea all day and nite, guess whst hurts. LOL

Markat LMAO about u'r slobs--u sound like it's fun, or u'r making it sound like fun.

Oh Kl--while I was reading u'r post I had a brilliant idea---now I'm here and don't have a clue what it was. That light bulb doesn't stay on as long as it used to.

Next week starts my busy weekend and I hope I'm not spending them in the bathroom, well I should be used to it by now---BUT still don't like it.

I did talk to my sister for over an hr. today (as usual) so I feel like we had a visit, cuz I know what she looks like---but I've been in for a few days now and it doesn't bother me it got cool and rainy and HORROR MOVIE time>

Geeze I wish I could remember what the present stuff was--Oh well.

Hope that the "D" train lets you off soon!!

    Sissy - it does!

    LOL camillegal...

I cannot get motivated to do ANYTHING today.  For awhile, I was like "yay, I have a break before surgery time to get some things done" and now I am like "I just want to get this OVER WITH!"

  • camillegal
    camillegal Member Posts: 15,711

Klt I know it's hard to get motivated for this--It's like u want to go right now and just do it. All these plans are to overwelming in the back of our head. Acouple of my surgeries I actually talked my self into thinkabout it all day tomorrow, then the next day I'd do it again, it worked for me pretty well. But I still didn't get anything done---that's where I learned it from---you know oh I'll do this project tomorrow and I'd do the same thing--so nothing got done anyway---so don't worry time will go by.

You ladies are cracking me up! ;)

We are a goofy group of hermits!

Kltb, believe me, it will all still be there after your surgery. The only thing I wished I had really done more of was cooking and freezing. We ate like crap for quite awhile (still are really).

markat hahahaha the truthe about the slob issue is starting to come out. Tht's all right I am still the queen and I don't apopligize for it.

When my niece got cancer (sate III--it was so wonderful what this group of women did (about 60 of them) they brought a meal to her home everyday for 6 weeks--she has 3 kida and a DH following surgery. That amazed me cuz most of her days she wanted to stay unmoving and here at 6PM everynite came a full dinner --whether from a restaurant or home made. (It didn't matter) She found out about it when she was in the hospital whoever started it was brilliant, now my niece is a part of that group and maybe once in a while she has to deliver a meal--there are so many women

I thought How wonderful that women who had cancer or knew about it did something on they're own.

So my point is if you don't have that around u, u'd better start cooking and freezing, cuz no matter how u feel everyone still wants to eat. and if that's all u do--it enough.

Camillegal I agree. You are always very sweet and encouraging!

Well I know a couple of you may have read this on the other boards (march chemo and triple positive) but I got a call from my PS today. He said since he knows I have to have rads now he won't do the TEs at my BMX. I was really upset at first but I am getting used to the idea of delayed recon now.

Cooking - I already had a round of meals from Freinds/acquaintances during chemo so don't know if they will do it again. But my daddy will cook for us! He does the cooking and my mom will take the kids to and from school. So DH can worry about me and also getting back to work himself.

Oh kl I'm so happy u have u'r parents to help u. That's the best. U won't have to worry about anything at home. Good for u.

Sorry you have to wait Kltb. Hopefully the time flies by.

I took the girls to their "church school" (Catholic education class for poor public school kids) tonight. A few people looked at me like I was a stranger(oops haven't been to Mass in awhile). The husband took them last year. I've only gained 30lbs and have a pixie hair cut. A few knew, and asked how I was. It was awkward but I did okay.

Camille you are always very supportive and fun at the same time!

I can't sleep again :( I've been feeling so good this week too.

I just meant that it sucked that the insomnia was back because I had started feeling better. When I can't sleep at night I start napping, and the cycle continues. I think I took my Tamoxifen too late and was wired.

Thanks Camille, hope you are feeling better!

Some of you may have seen this on other boards but rads are up the air again.  Here is the update:

Finally heard from BS aroud 2 p.m. Long story short (hahaha as IF I won't type a book), she wants me to wait til after pathology from surgery and get a second opinion.  Encouraged me to do all the research and ask all the questions but not to go strictly off this one RO's opinon.  She was trying to be nice about it but basically said he was brand spanking new and this is his very first year to practice...which is good that he is up on all the latest and greatest but he has little to no experience. That he was very thorough but that she felt that with my particular case (the one sentinel node nonwithstanding), the position of the tumor in relation to my boob, and even my age (cause let's face it under 40 at 39 is different than under 40 at 32), she wants me to get more input before I make a decision.  And that she would know more "once she got in there".   Truly she doesn't have a dog in this fight so to speak - there is nothing to gain for her to discourage me from rads so I am taking her opinion into consideration.

So we are back where we started...BMX with TEs...and another RO consult.

Oh, and I totally did the Hermit Shuffle yesterday...was supposed to go to that Thirty One party w/my mom last night - after all the drama this week, I told her I just wasn't feeling like it - I am down to minimal lashes, I don't know these people, they are all my aunt's church friends.  My mom wasn't upset though - she too is quite hermitish and came up with her own reasons not to go!  (and she has plenty - her autoimmune disease isn't quite as bad as cancer but it has its own issues).
