k - love the hair.  You should pick a fun colour if you dye it.

Cami - we aren't going to see you on a 60 minutes investigation are we?  Maybe you can get off the D train if they shut it down like the subways in NY.

Thankfully my cat only leaves toys in my bed.  He used to leave flys he killed in my oldest daughters.  She didn't always appreciate his gift.  He only once caught a bird when out in our yard (mostly indoor kitty) and seemed more surprised than anything.

Bgirl if u do see me on anything it'll be with bars over my face. But I'm so careful not to say anthing harmful to them, cuz I know I can't so the madder I get I say things like u'r mother would be ashamed of u. That means I'm really pissed but no harm intended.  LOL

Got the kids off to school - I was walking on eggshells around Abby all morning - just didn't want to ask how she was or bring it up so maybe she wouldn't think about it too much, lol.  Gotten cold here overnight - had to sit in the van with the defroster on for a while to get the frost off the windshield.  If only I had a garage - oh wait, I do, it is filled with DH's crap!  Supposed to be in the 60s by the afternoon though.

My gumption to go to the store faded overnight...

Our kitty that we had to give away was the most smart one we have ever had when it came to cat toys - she would want to play with things she wasn't supposed to and if you would hide them from her, she would actually snag her claws in the edge of a drawer to open them.  Too bad she was possessed and evil, she was a fun cat.

K- our garage is the same way, DH actually cleaned it out Saturday but the opener is broken anyway. The list of things to fix is pretty long so that's kind of last. Hope Abby stays at school today for you.

I have a super busy day. Volunteering, girl scouts, Catholic Ed, and conferences. We were trying to figure out logistics and I think between the 2 of us, we can do it, lol.

camille - LOL on that pic - when we had the aforementioned devil kitty, she was tee tiny when we got her and she liked to get into things - I went a whole afternoon one day worried that I hadn't checked the dryer before I turned it on when I left the house.  I'm in AR - lol - common mistake - once when I was ordering a bunch of stuff for Christmas they actually shipped it to Arizona instead of Arkansas....luckily it made it on time.

markat - lol, our door is broken too - we had a power surge a few years ago and it knocked out a bunch of stuff, fried a TV, etc...but when we got the insurance money, did we use it to fix the door...nooooo...  We have considered walling ours off and making an extra room out there but just haven't had the money to do so.  Sounds like you have a very busy day on tap.

Well, I am going to town after I get the kids...and to JCP (where I worked) for the first time since I quit - I have avoided it because it is such a small store and gone to some of the other/bigger stores when I go out of town for my dr appts but I have some coupons that are going to expire and need to use them.  Maybe I can slink around and not see too many people I know.  Then going to find oldest DD something to work as a costume for Halloween.  We will take them trick or treating but I hate to spend a fortune on a costume that she will only wear once and we aren't going to any parties or anything.  She wasn't going to dress up but has decided she wants to.

Kltb U'r devil cat sounds fun--Not

Oh the costumes could be on sale WHAT'S LEFT OF THEM--I know I always felt that way about costumes --but this year Joey went to 3 parties and they'll have one at school andlater TorT'ing. And my dgtr bout a pair of black pants for this batman tee and cape and mask, but he can wear the pants to school. They have a ime here between 3-7PM is T&T then it stops good so the doorbell won't keep ringing after that. U probably have times too so it's not like before so that's good for u.

camille you come across with the biggest heart.  Don't believe anyone could think you have evil intent.  Wind and rain definitely makes me want to hibernate.  Also got a period today.  Talk about flipping a switch.  From raging insomniac to wanting to sleep all day.  Anyone who thinks that our hormone issues from BC are all in our head should be in my body.  Feel like I took a couple of Xanax.  Husband has class tonight, think I will be napping with cats.  No drugs required, except for a couple of pain killers. lol

K hope the weather cooperates so you can enjoy halloween.  Bought candy, but may be a wash-out where we are.  Oh well didn't buy anything we wouldn't eat.

My siamese babies love to get fur on anything.  Soon as I wash a blanket they are back on it.  Love anyone wearing black, especially my DH's tux.

    Stay safe, warm & dry.

FLwarrior - I am with you on the sleep thing. Seems I just can't get enough - take a 2 hour nap after work and then still don't want to get up when alarm goes off. DH is always waking me up to tell me it is past time to get up.Caution about Dansko shoes - I am in healthcare in FL as well and loved my Danskos right up until I tripped and due to their thick soles didn't feel it and fell suffering broken elbow and torn rotator cuff resulting in 2 surgeries. Won't wear them anymore as I am afraid. I even fell in "walking shoes" and left lipstick stain on floor of lab I work in. Am I a klutz or what.

Camille - hope you are feeling better. Along with your fluids you need to make sure you get some electrolytes ie gatorade (yuk but it works). Love your pictures and captions.

I am with everyone and the "yes" to drugs. As I said to my BS when she put me on Prestiq "better living through chemicals" she laughed. I am allergic to so many drugs that can only take dilaudid or oxys. Did find a new one Nucynta which is a narco but also acts sort of like an anti-depressant with the seratonin so have to watch it with my ad. I have found it seems to work pretty well with my shoulder pain but refuse to take it before or during work so take it when I come home and before bed.

Starting physical therapy for shoulder but not too excited about facility and the worker's comp cut in half the number of sessions ortho ordered. Guess they do stuff the cheapest way when if they did it the correct way with the best their insurance payouts would be less as it would be done correctly the first time. Can you tell I am rapidly becoming anti-workers comp. At least they got me a good ortho surgeon. The muscles on side of right foob is also tightening with the shoulder and I hope it is not getting capsular contraction. Meanwhile I pretty much go to work, come home and sleep. (sorry about those who can't sleep)

    Hi everyone.

I.am.so.tired.it.hurts! Lol. Hope everyone is having a good night.

Delilah so sorry about your injuries! Yikes about the Danskos. I'm a total clutz so I probably shouldn't get those.

Well, my Abby is doing great in school and Katie…well, she's there everyday, lol. Costumes are so expensive and a little revealing for the tween age group. Abby is using an old dance costume and Katie is a Monster High character.

Deliah OMG those falls were horrible--to have to have surgeries, u poor thing. My falls are in slow motion, so it's not that bad. Oh and I do take mag, and Pot. (pills) everyday for quite a while but my electrolys are off still alot so I end up with IV's, sometimes I'm in the hospital for 5,6 days getting the bags of stuff--but I take my computer have TV, my own room and can order anything zi want so--but I still wat to be home--Now I get blood work alot every couple of weeks ad I'm still low that's why now I see a cardiologist--Oh I'm sorry this is so boring everyone knows my goofy SE. hahaha

OK u 2 Missys--bgirl and whaeva u ratted me out --Well I know now I can ruin everyones computer, it's a form of hacking, cuz that was my original goal when I started with any computer just 2 years ago. So I'll work my way up.  Sorry again Mods :(

Markat I said u were busy today, u should be able to sleep well tonight. And yes I've seen teen costues, some of them u can work in a strip joint with those on. So I'm glad they found something to wear. OK I'm not sure where everyone lives, but just be safe--this thing is horrible

I've never watched so much weather in my life--thru this board I've met such wonderful people thst live all over the place ad some live on the east coast and ow I worry about more things. OOOOOOO

bgirl - it is supposed to be perfect here - clear and high in the 60s dropping into the 50s.  Your babies are Siamese?  My DH would be so jealous...our first one was Siamese and he loved her so much.  We ended up having to give her to my grandfather because she was really jealous of our oldest dd when we brought her home from the hospital and she was a scratcher and biter.  But as fate would have it, when my grandfather had to go into a nursing home, she came back to live with us for about a year before she died of old age.

Mods - lol on the kitty.

Deliah - what a painful injury!  I slipped and fell on the ice in the parking lot of the store a year or so ago when I still worked and my workers comp wouldn't pay because I was in the lot and not in the store, thus not their property.  I was so mad!  I was AT work, I had to walk across the ice to get to my car.  Ridiculous.

Camille - I have been watching the weather a ton too - it makes a difference knowing so many of the people in harm's way...

markat = OMG on the costumes, I KNOW!  We went to the Halloween storm and there was a girl a couple years older than S trying on a "sexy nurse" one - came up to her butt and down in the front.  NO WAY!

Sarah ended up getting a "flapper" outfit.  It is a mini skirt but not form fitting, just like a shift dress with a headband/feather.  And it was "only" 24.99 - I can always resale at consignment and get at least half my money back out of it.  I am just worried about the top.  She fills it out but it gaps a little bit, may have to pin it.  Abby is my sweet little Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz...I will be sure and post pics tomorrow.

Kltb That sounds like a perfect costume--maybe u can put a pretty pin that matches and hold the top to close more.

I'm glad u'r out of the way of any storm. we're just getting a lot of wind, just so it stays manageable. My gosh I'm still o the weather channel this is so bizarre for all of thes states.  I feel so bad and I never heard of a (I think) Northeaster whatecer it like a srorm worse than any hurricane. I remember when I was little my dad would take me outside and expllain how the clouds were forming and what it meant and what direction --and I really miss my dad--he called me his baby all of his life and I was in my 60's but I was still his baby.  Sorryjust thinking.

Well 2 of my girlfriends might come over for lunch tomorrow--so I don't have to leave my house --oh am I a hermit LOL--Well really cuz I've had to cancel before (goig out) cuz of my stupid D, so they figured I'd be more comfortable. So I hope I get to see them soon.

K - I wouldn't even buy some of those costumes as an adult.  Even on an adult there is a fine line between slutty and sexy!  Remember ordering clothes from a catalogue the year my youngest DD started kindergarten. She was tall and into girls 7-14 and they were all minature versions of the teen clothes that year.  Was not sending my little girl to school looking like that!  A friend has a term for the kids at the daycare near her that are dressed inappropriately old/sexy.  She thinks the parents are crazy.  Calls them "prostitots".  Really they grow up to fast already.

Hope everyone is well and safe.  We are on high ground a lot of wind, but no really old trees on our street.  Woken by chainsaws at 12:30 last night.  City cutting branch off old tree on main road behind us.  Also rec facility across road has giant fence blown over, but all in all good when you see what happened to some on the news.  Sadly someone killed by flying debris from a office store sign in nearby city.  I guess that is why they tell you to stay inside.

Awe K, I bet they will look adorable!

The weather is a little crazy here. I'm in SW Ohio so we are getting the 30mph wind gusts- nothing like those of you on the East Coast or up around the Great Lakes. I hope you are staying safe Camille!

It's pretty cold here. There was actually a little girl in a tank top yesterday when I was at school. WTF? I'm trying to give her parents the benefit of the doubt that maybe she had a sweater on and took it off.

Well, all my hermits I'm asking for your good thoughts for tomorrow for my interview. Hopefully I don't turn in to a blubbering mess, lol. I need to dye my hair and paint my nails something other than blood red haha. And try to find a nice shirt that fits. I seriously don't know how people work through chemo and surgeries. It's exhausting just thinking about it!

oh cami I bet it would be nice to see them even if they have to come over.

Get the dad thing.  My dad hated me taking care of him this summer - I think he thought he should be taking care of his baby (youngest of 4 girls).

    Thanks birl....

Markat u'll be wonderful--I'm sure u'r sweetness comes across on the internet so in real lfe it's better. Dye u'r hair, paint u'r nails and if u wear perfume use it lightly--u don't want u'r aroma entering before u do. I think this takes a lot of preparation even tho it'll be a piece of cake for u?

U'r a winner in so many ways  so walk in with u'r head up and confident as u should be.And wear sensible shoes we cancer people tend to fall LOL I'll say an extra prayer just for u today just be y'r self

Ad u r so right, How u guys have kids ad have this horrid diseas around u. I could have ever done it It's exhaustin just to read what u are doing everyday let alone working and then keep a household running. U'r all amazing to me.

oh, I was going to mention the siamese babies are brothers from the same litter.  This is the second pair we had.  Always get 2 so they have company.  They are actually very social.  Anybody we know that has had problems with a siamese cat usually have one.  If left alone a lot they can get high strung and anti-social.  Also get them from a couple of local people who raise them so they have been exposed to family and socialized well as babies.  Didn't like weather so I let them sleep on my feet last night.
