Juneau- going to give you a laugh for today. I scrolled up the page and stopped about 1/2 way on the limbo book. I died laughing because i thought you had posted a picture of a vagina! No, i don't have sex on the brain, but i quickly had to scroll further up!.

Thanks everyone for being in my pockets today!!!!!!!

My Mo said everything looks good and she will only call me if my blood results are abnormal so here's looking for no calls from her! They will not do any scans unless the bloodwork including markers comes back abnormal.

This means I am officially NED!!!!

I have to get back to work now, but will read up and reply later tonight.

Thanks again everyone! You made my appointment much easier knowing you we're in my pockets.

Believe and 2FriedEggs, I'm so with you on that new swimsuit/spanx/tights combination! Was confronted with my own white sponge like thighs every day this last week on my Caribbean island holiday. Because of radiation I was so careful not to get too much sun, and slathered the sponges with sunscreen while sitting in the shade. I've always held firm that brown fat looks better than white fat, but I came back just a tinge darker than I left....oh well, at least I still thoroughly enjoyed myself. Went snorkelling, swimming, walking, read a lot, and had a relaxing couples' massage, so it was good. I hear you about the baking, 2 Fried Eggs. I also love it, but unfortunately have to refrain, because I have no discipline, and cannot stop sampling - LOL! All the leftovers are put into the freezer immediately, but they still call my name. Sigh!

Aruba and Joanne, enjoy yourselves on your trips. Warmer climates are sooooo nice when you've had a long, cold winter!

    Hi there

Man I can't keep up either! Weekend was uneventful :) went out for a bit Saturday afternoon and was home and in bed by 9 pm. Friday - I watched, life of PI and I thought it was a good movie. Sunday I ran and it was a crappy run but oh well gotta have those. I am so slow :)

Another snow day today, drove to work in the winter tundra and white knuckled it the whole way. I drive 35 miles on a county hwy to my office in no where land and it was not fun! I hate when you can't see the road. So I sent my team home and drove back home an hour later:)

I really really need to start marketing myself for a new career but the problem is I don't know what I want to do anymore. ugh I want to just have a change but still have it challenging and something where I can learn something new. Travel would be nice too! I haven't worked in a real office setting for 10 years. Oh well I better start planning.

Thank for your kind words about what my sister wrote. I feel it is all our stories as we all are brave and compassionate. We all have heard those scary words when first dia and had to tell our friends and family. Ironically my sister works with the American cancer society but I don't think she related to her job as much as she does now seeing me go through this crap this past year. I told her yesterday I think god picked me so you could understand what a cancer patient goes through and you will take this and even make more of a difference for us all. He chose me so that we both could learn and find ways to make a difference for other cancer patients. I get so angry every time I hear of someone else finding out they have cancer. To me 1:8 women is unacceptable. Sorry about me being on my band wagon here but I want more research and more preventative research in particular and education. I did not know that drinking wine increased my odds. Not that I would have stop but I would have thought twice about my nightly glass after work. I did not know sugar feed cancer cells. At 42 years old I was not paying attention. Of course moderation is key but I never do things half ass:) I loved my wine and cigs! I worked for the last 10 years climbing the ropes and putting in 60 + hours a week and stressed driven to be number one which is also shown to cause health problems.

Our companies need to emphasize healthy work life balances. This is the main reason I want to leave my current position because I can't work these hours and be healthy.

Would I have changed know all this now? Probably not because this was the way I was brought up but we can educate our children and the younger generation to change it. I think we are getting there, but we are not even close to what needs to be done. At least, research has changed a bit to look at holistic intergrative medicine more now than it has in the past. The shit we put in our food is scary, but I don't know all that is bad or good so our government needs more regulations on this so we can know our food and water is not cancer causing.

Man I am on a roll! sorry if I am offending anyone here. I am not perfect, but dam it I want to have the knowledge to make the best decisions and ressearching all this is like having a second career. It should not be this hard.

On a lighter note! I haven't wore a bra in two weeks! Whoo hoo kind of liking that! One bonus about fboobs! They aren't pretty but they are perky:)

Mcook - you may have inadvertently found your next career. Is the Cancer organization hiring? They'd hire you in a minute if they could hear your passion.

Michelle - Just for you today is Adam Levine's birthday.  You ask how old he is.  He is 34.  Sorry about the su**y day.  You need spring in a bad way.

The 1 in 8 stats just floor me.  Have a group of about 7 women, all say 45-65 (one maybe bit younger)  Out of that group 4 have had BC.  Not particularly heavy drinkers in this group (the ones that I would consider so DON'T have BC)  Two frankly very healthy, eat right.  Tell me about the 1 in 8 with us.  Other 2 of us not so healthy.  When 3 of us were diagnosed, was amazed and just recently added the 4th.  Thank goodness all 4 of us doing well.  I know stats aren't firm/fast and not to take them like "no way ------ will get BC since 4 of us already do".

My child is busy attempting to climb the corporate ladder but it is darned hard these days.  Just glad she has a decent paying job and is happy in her teeny-tiny apt with her cats.  DH and I tell her she needs to change companies.  She works for a large co. that shall remain unnamed but her dept is small.  Amazon is opening a million square foot dist. center in Ft. Worth and I think she is thinking of applying.  She is in logistics so right up her alley.  She at least looked at their job openings when she was here this weekend but also was looking at jobs in Seattle.

Ramols - congrats on the topless and the wonderful salon you found.  Sounds like they do great works.

Liefie and 2Fried - Don't even own a swimsuit and would hate to think of wriggling into one.  Put on pantyhose for church yesterday and almost fell off bed trying to get 2nd foot in them.  Can you say "fatty needs to diet"?  Can't find anything decent to wear for Easter and need dress for June wedding (I think it's more cowboy than anything but nice dress is more my style).  Church dresses are the very hardest thing to find since I won't need the swimsuit LOL.  Not too picky will buy skirt/blouse. You know what we need are the old fashioned "bathing costumes" with bloomers.  We could make style history.

Momof3 - Congrats on great results.

Cindyl WOW that looks like the ticket or atleast closer to the goal! I'd love those swim pants if they would let the sun through them to tan. Like you Liefie, I think the tanner skin looks better than my pastey whiteness with blue veins shining thru.lol But it's getting to that tan that's impossible! Many years ago they came out with bathingsuits I think as seen on tv that you couldnt see thru but that supposedly you could tan thru. Probably didnt work .

McCook, I hear you about the alcohol and now they are saying that the young girls need to be warned not to drink in their early years . I don't know though how seriously they'll take it though; The drinking age was 18 here when I was growing up andI doubt that I would have avoided alcohol back then even though my mom had BC when I was young.I mean we always heard too about how great broccoli and other veges were and that they might help fend off bc but there again I didn't run off and eat them. We think we are invincible and that it won't happen to us when we are young.  The one thing that I have been reading alot about too is the dangers of microwave popcorn which I have eaten like crazy since it came out. Dang there can be cancer issues having something to do with the expanding of the bag as well as lung/breathing issues from the buttered ones. Several articles said to just buy regular popcorn pour a little in a glass dish and put a microwavable lid on it  or use an air popper. I went and bought a regular bag of popcorn (which is getting hard to find anymore)because for some reason I had my doubts it would pop. DUH it worked lol But it did make me wonder why dome of this stuff gets to stay on the market as is while other things get yanked. I was reading the oncology website and they were talking about cows milk as a real negative yet we are encouraged to drink it when we are younger, hormones and all.  I do hope they do figure it out soon since they say girls are getting it younger and younger now-there just has to be more to the genetics too though as so many of us had close relatives that had breast cancer yet we test negative for BRAC. I think that too gives those following in our footsteps a false sense of security. That is interesting though that your sister works for the cancer society-I think you are right about why you were put in each others lives as well as in our lives.

CindyL - the suits are nice. I still don't want one. I think they missed 2 frieds lifter pumps. Did you notice how young their models are?

Momof3. - yeah! Prayers and Pocket trips work! So happy for you. Have a stress less rest of the day!

Luvmygoats - now I feel really old. My sons are older than Adam Levine!

Liefie - your trip sounds great- you did a lot! It's always nice to get away.

Am I the only one without a sweet tooth? I'm sure it's the Arimidex!
