Hi Kristie, glad to hear you're doing well overall, and good luck with your oopherectomy!

outdamnedspot--pcr is pathological complete response. It means the tumor(s) shrink to pretty much nothing.

Regarding pockets, I actually had a specific image in mind: one of those old-fashioned red windbreakers with side pockets.

Pcr is pathological complete response.. For those who have chemo first...it's when after chemo before surgery there is no invasive cancer left at time of surgery.. Apparently much much more common in those who are triple negative or her 2 positive.. I neither but totally had high hopes for it... Disappointingly... Apparently sometimes tumor can disappear completely or sometimes tumor may stay but be left with no cancer in there... Hope that helpes

Cargo Pants - that works! We are Precious Cargo!

Shari - see, I told you it wouldn't be long before you'd be teaching us (pcr)!

You are probably all tucked in bed and having sweet dreams, I'm not far behind you. We just got home, busy day. Until tomorrow...

I was having internet issues so was just able to get online. Anyway I am So relieved! My lump was scar tissue. The sweet radiology assistant who did the sonogram said she wanted to run the views by the radiologist before I left. She came back a bit later and said he went all thru them and said there was just some excess scar tissue in that spot- to go celebrate. I was so grateful that they did't keep me hanging. Thanks all for being in my pocket- can't imagine going thru all this BC stuff without this group either and all your humor, support, etc especially since only about 4 people in my offline world know about my bc.

Aruba Congrats for on your daughter-thats great! you had me in laughing so hard when you said you try to wear a bathing suit that keeps everything off the floor. What a visual I could relate to lol- I don't even try to get into a bathing suit these days. Wish someone would create suits that came with tights-sounds attractive huh?

Shari hang in there; we are all here for you   and the 28th will be here before you know it; the sob of a tumor will be gone and you will be moving on to the next phase like the rest of us. Truthfully I wasted so much time researching and worrying about the"what ifs" that my thoughts were actually way way worse than the surguries, etc .

Karen hope the test went well.

Believe, Tazzy, ChrissRenee, Aruba and all those that posted the graphics and cartoons- loved them!

Mom of3 welcome and I'll also be in your pockets.

Outdamned spot- That's where I see the pocket parties too; never pictured us in pants! Cargo pants might be ok and like Believe said very appropriate since we are precious cargo, but if's ok with you all, if there is a shirt pocket I'm riding up top. Lol that reminds me of the days when we were going to ride around and would say " I call shotgun" and would run to the car to get the frontseat . Anyone else do that or were me and my friends thee only weirdos that did? Heck there are probably too many of us to ride in the same pocket anyway.

Scottie, Kale and broccoli in our green beer?! Don't think I can handle that one lol especially coming just a few days after you, our dear nutritionist and guru, were photographed hiding out in a cabin eating chocolate jujubes and drinking wine. LOL that was a real TMZ moment, but so glad you and Jo had a good time.

Kristie glad you're doing well .That is the scary thing about your friend's friend-there is just no telling; we have to take our anti-hormonals , pray and remember like Stride said that the odds are on our side! Good luck to with the surgeries-I had 5 last year but I had my ovaries out the same day as my mastectomy and recon sbut I only count those 3 as 1 lol.

Sheryl congrats on finishing rads! Fantastic!

Joanne my thoughts and prayers are with your friends and their daughter.

Juneau that is a great saying.

McCook  Wow that letter your sister wrote was powerful and definitely a tear jerker. You and your sister are so lucky to have each other. After what Scottie said about TV putting on 10 pounds, it is time to get in shape and practice my moves so that if Ellen calls for us to come meet you on her show, I'll be ready! LOL

       Have a great week all!

Morning all! Happy for those with good results and in pockets of those playing the waiting game. Can't keep up with you chatty kathys. I think you all talk more than my 5 year old - who is known to be a major talker! Anyway - just wanted to report that the ladies at Racine were as wonderful as I imagined. Cleaned up my edges and gave me a scalp txt to encourage growth - and wouldn't let me take out my wallet. I felt safe and empowered. So... Now I am on the train trekking into my office for the first time in a few months - and I'm "topless". Have been going out like this since my "trim". Have mixed feelings about it but so tired of my scarves so I'm sticking with it. Hugs to you all. Go get your happy today!

TwoFried....Plop Plop Fizz Fizz..oh what a RELIEF it is!Laughing  So happy for your results.

Shari-hang in there..the waiting is the worst!  Hang in there!

Well, I completed 24 hours of Continuing Ed over the weekend.  Taking on line classes in financial planning for "end stage" planning, long term care, ethics and life settlements was not very exciting..but it is done and I can now be licensed another two years.  Not sure when I'll use it..but at least I won't lose it.

Today I am going to pack for my Fla trip tomorrow...down there about 2 weeks, but I'll try to keep caught up from there and hope I see lots of sun. Today we have sleet and freezing rain here. I have baked and cooked for hubby, laundry caught up!

A girl my hubby used to coach, was in a car accident in Fla returning to Ohio from spring break on Sat.  Two front seat passengers were killed and she and another girl in back seat survived and in hospital. We know life can change in an instant, I am happy to embrace today.    Hugs to you all!

2FriedEggs - yes, what a relief it is! Someday we are going to take our own advise and not stress - not. I think our prayers and pocket trips are working. So happy for your great results.

My 3 boys always called shotgun whenever we got in the car. Good memory, other than the pushing and yelling.

Ramols - glad your hair appt was a good experience and how nice that they didn't charge you! Sounds like a very caring group. Going topless made me smile, I'm sure you are beautiful!

Aruba - enjoy the Florida sunshine and your dad. Congrats on completing your continuing education. Sorry about your husbands friends. Sending prayers for their recovery.

Still thinking about the bathing suit with tights, 2fried - you make me smile. Glad your computer is working!

Aruba, what a horrible thing for your husbands friend.  I leave Friday for Florida (2 weeks away)-- driving.  We go down the coast now and stay away from I75.  Not that that is great but I75 is SOOOOO busy now.  You have a great trip.

Maybe we should make Facebook group private in case people in our Facebook lives don't know what's going on with us and don't need to

Believe, you think you could design something like that- maybe open toed tights (hopefully that the sun could get thru to tan white veiney legs while still showing off a pretty pedicure and  a beaded top or skirt for the "maturer body"  (except for my new misplaced foobs) ? lol Maybe the top could have different options like an inside "pulley system" for the maturer figure that had a lumpectomy or  blow up foobs for those who had MX with no reconstruction. Heck my buns have dropped so much over the years that maybe inflatable spanks that would take the emphasis off of the sagging buns while serving as a flotation device would be in order for the bottom (to go over the tights of course). Oh my Knowing that I am only part kidding about this may be enough to keep me from baking and eating for a few days! lol

2Fried - I'm sure there is a million dollar idea in your swimsuit for seniors. We actually have a pool. I've avoided it for years. Do we have any fashion designers on our site? My designing skill are on par with my hair skills. But I can dream, while I bake.

Hello all - wow ! really cannot keep up.

Shari:  no I still had my tumour and 3 nodes positive after chemo - although it had shrunk significantly.  Cant remember any pain - could be in your mind.   The mind is a very powerful tool.... I agree with Shianne... stop being silly - lol Tongue Out

Stupidly busy at work.... hard to believe there are so many 'naughty' employees to deal with.

Missed so many of you, but sending warm, hearty hugs to each and everyone of you.   Have great trips, those of you that have them planned.

Will try and log in again soon - just to read if nothing else Smile

2fried, I'm giggling away at the thought of what that bathing suit old look like!!!! I love the dancing lady too lol and I'm in whichever pocket has the chocolate jubjubes :-D

Very windy here today, I hope it's blowing in the warm air because its been cold all weekend. I did get out for that walk yesterday, you'd think that would have helped me sleep. Nope. So I'm dragging my butt around today, good thing it's a day off from rads.

I wish I was going on a vacation. Laying on a nice sandy, warm beach would be so great!! I'm ready for summer!!

Hi all -- I will fix the f/b page to be private.

Also thanks all for the prayers .... My friend arrived at the hospital today and before they were going to do the bone marrow test they ran blood work -- all her counts are NORMAL -- no bone marrow test!! Yippee !!!!!  OMG I cannot tell you how worried I was.
