2 Fried and Believe - that's what the deal is with Medicare. I had it a$$ backwards LOL. Thanks. Yes, I will check. And I thought there was an age minimum. This weekend is our drive thru flu shot clinic. Only trouble is I can't drive thru (Left arm and all). DH gets his at work and doesn't want to sit in line just for me. Waah! Gosh maybe since I've met 1st deduc. (80% on insurance) I def. need to get shingles shot this year.

Juneau - fabulous job. I know in real life it's bruised. Pic. looks like purple eye shadow. I think women without crows feet (unless absol. natural) have no soul and look like they never lived a life. We wear our lines with pride; we've earned them. Hope for easy healing/bruise resolving.

ah Juneau I seeeeeeeee! It already looks FANTASTIC!

Luvmygoats I don't know about where you live but most of our pharmacists can now give the flu shot and the shingles shot right at the pharmacy counter and it takes 2 seconds. The only thing here with the shingles shot is they require a doctors prescription whereas the flu shot they took my insurance card info, put up like a little privacy screen right by the pharmacy counter, stuck me in the arm, then sent me on my way. They would have done the same for the shingles but I didn't have my Dr write me a script so I'll just have to go in to the Drs later. My DL-to-be already has a job when she graduates next spring as a Dr of Pharmacy nearby. I told her next year I'll have her do our shots ; she said we better be reallllll nice to her. I told her on second thought I want her to get more practice under her belt in giving the shots so we'll have her give us our shots in 2 years. lol

Luvmygoats-just got to thinking-wonder if your drive thru would mind if you backed in and stuck your right arm thru the passengers window- lol I hate that-mine is my left arm too and therefore we can't use the blood pressure machines at the stores either.

I still need to catch up, but need to vent a little. I received a letter in the mail that my BS is leaving the breast center that I go to. I am so upset!!!!!! She is staying in the state, but the new hospital she is going to is really far away not to mention her office will be farther also. I have to decide to go with her and be at a different hospital or switch to another BS at the center. I am so upset by this!!!!!!!!!!! All of my other doctors are affiliated with the hospital and I switched all of them because of my BS. This is going to keep me up tonight I am sure.

Thanks for letting me vent and I promise to catch up later tonight.

    In pockets as needed.

Looking good already Juneau! Can't wait to see your eyes when you're all healed! What a difference!

Mom of 3, I'm so sorry you're in such a dilemma! Can you interview her replacement before you make the decision?? I would freak, too! My BS is my go-to doctor. Even with my lymphedema and cellulitis issues- she's the one who takes care of me! My MO left for Colorado, haven't met her replacement yet but if she says he's good, I'll take her word for it.

I don't think even our doctors realize how fragile the bond is that we have with them. I'm sending virtual hugs hon!!💗

    Hello Ladies,

Iatigger was great to see you and your lovely family! They are so fabulous! I was so tired I actually let my bf drive home last night :) that does not happen because I am a freak about other people driving LOL:)

Stride- glad to to hear for you! We are all in your pockets and hope those SE from Steriods calm down. They are a bitch:)

Juneau- you have way more balls than I do:) I need to go in and get some work done on my fboobs but just can slow down enough or have the nerve to go through another surgery right now:)

Believe- you are amazing! I got my brackets yesterday for my friend who lost her husband this week from lung cancer. I am heading home today to see her and she will be so thankful of your kindness! It will be a great celebration of his life and dam it I promised him I would wear a packer jersey to his funeral. I am so sorry he is gone but so happy he is an angel watching over me now and not in pain. It was a bitter sweet blessing that our cancers made us closer than ever and he was someone I could share things with and he got it and so did I. He told us not to have a tear at the funeral and that might not be a promise I can keep:)

I have not been feeling 100% lately so lots of doctors appointments to figure out what is going on. I think it is just dam SE from chemo that have wreck havoc on my poor body. Lately I have had bloating, urinating all the time, lymphdema started on my arm and side of my fboobs more frequently and some other tummy issues. Joy joy but I am not letting these little bulbs in the road get me down. The weight thing is driving me crazy! It is more fluid retention than anything so gets me bummed and hope they can figure this crap out.

Well it is raining out and I am loving my Sunday morning just drinking my coffee and having the living room all to myself listening to the rain. Maybe it is My friend sending it down from above to show he is still here with me and holding my hand:)

    Hugs and Love!

Hi all....I've been quiet too lately....school is busy, I'm redecorating room by room and I have started to have severe back pain, which seems to be in my ribs mostly. I will confess here to you guys that I lied to my MO and said I was fine!!!! Luanne brought me up short when she announced on FB she is also suffering from back pain. Mine is in the middle to upper ...all my ribs are so painful plus my shoulder blades....I am weepy,

no appetite, knots in my stomach...because of course I'm convinced I have mets!!!!

Just took my last anti-anxiety pill so will see my GP tomorrow or Tuesday and confess to him!!! I feel like the wonderful summer I had I now have to pay for. I'm back feeli g like the first summer......nauseated, stomach in knots, no appetite, weepy...Fuck this cancer

One part of me justs wants to bury her head in the sand because she is tired of it all,

the other part says no you will not let thus fucking disease win, and besides you want to dance at your sons' weddings .......sorry gals for ranting, but I know you all get where I'm coming from.

Michelle, Luanne.....you are so much stronger than me so I need you to kick my backside.

It did my heart good to hear Michelle and Aimee were able to meet.....soooo jealous...I miss the summer so much, mostly meeting you wonderful crazy women.

I still plan to bu some beautiful retreat for us all when I win the lottery...lol

Love you all.....need lots of big feet next week to push me into my docs office....any volunteers????

Scottie Dang sorry you are going thru all this. I know exactly what you mean. Everything that comes up we are bound to think mets. We just have to remember that we aren't spring chickens anymore (Some of us)and we would be subject to various issues and pains even if we didn't go thru what we did. Add these AL's to our bodies that we know can cause bone aches and pains and that of course makes it worse. It's sad thought that unfortunately we think mets 1st then other stuff 2nd instead of the other way around. But yes you should get it checked out even if it's just an "aging" thing; plus if you are back to school your body is probably all thrown off with different chairs to sit in than home and/or standing all day.But you know you can count on us all to kick you into your doctors office then hang out in your pockets. Gotta go for the peace of mind.

McCook so sorry about your friends passing. It is so nice that you and Aimee got to meet up.

As to Believe; Isn't it great to have one of our very own angels in this group. Thanks Believe

In the pockets of all in need.

Scottie you are too funny- but i know what you mean! Going to a doctor that is younger than my own son and his friends is like a punch in the face of reality.  As a kid/teen, doctors were between my parents and grandparents ages, then some seemed to catch up to my age but dang now they are all way way younger than me with the majority around my sons age and some younger! I feel like I went from young to old with none of the in between time. In your pocket waiting for some good news. How about putting your new script in that pocket too.

Aruba-that is so nice. Hows Dad? You get over the cold? I took my Dad in for some procedures and I swear I caught my cold in the waiting room. Summer colds are a pain.

Websister-How's life treating you and your mom? Hope fine and that you are having lots of fun with that adorable grandbaby.

Oh and for the ER+ women http://www.drugs.com/news/researchers-focus-likelihood-breast-cancer-recurrence-47379.html  Wonder if that can be tested long after the fact to see if we need to take  our ALs longer than 5 years  or if it has to be done like at the same time they normally do the oncotype.

Girls.....I'm glad I gave you a laugh.....that makes me feel good....she said she would call me today if anything was up but I did not receive a call so I'm taking it and running, but my bloody bones hurt so much which she said is probably muscular and/or inflammation

so I have started on an anti-inflammatory.....just another pill to add to the arsenal .....lol

Thank you all for being in my pockets.......you are the only ones that get all the anxiety

    and worry.....luv ya all.....❤❤❤

Luanne.....when is your scan scheduled foryour back issues.....could it be muscular

and/or an inflammation.....I'm praying girl that it is.

I go next week for mammo US and bone scan with follow up on Friday to get all results. Feeling very pissy pants in the mean time.

I've also had bleeding a couple times so not sure what that is about but will discuss that with MO next week. It's not a period. Just once or twice when I pee and wipe there is blood. I'm scared and emotional. I'm so fucking tired of this shit!!!
