PS.....stop getting me into trouble ....how did you manage to interpret my suggestion of a green smoothie followed up with some low fat yoghurt and fruit into beer, champagne,

    chocolate and ice cream 🙀

    Holy Moly!

Lots to catch up on after two days:)

Happy Birthday Ramols and anyone else I missed today!

Juneau read ur post about flu shot experience sorry but I was rolling reading your post. And nope fboobs don't offend me either! Sorry your scale is not budging but dam it girl you have just been through hell and you will get there!

I had to go buy new pants for my event yesterday because none of mine fit me. I have purchases three pairs of new pants this year two size bigger and I wear the crap out of them and leggings! Sucks being short does not hide any weight gain.

So I was so excited to wear heels for the first time in a long time! What the fuck ( there ya go juneau) was I thinking. Half way through the day I was walking through the capital in my socks and did not give a crap:) ouch! I wear steel toe boots to work ever day so feet were not happy with me. I have a pair of danskos and I live in those so as soon as I got back to my truck put those puppies back on! If anyone does not own a pair of these I highly suggest checking them out!

My sister and I meet for dinner last night and we went to a restaurant that she had been too awhile back. Not a dam healthy thing on the menu and what I got I sent back because it was absolutely disgusting. That is the first for me I never send stuff back but this was yucky! So I stuck to a grey goose martini ...bad idea lol as after one of those atleast we walked three miles to restaurant and back do got my exercise in:)

One good thing is I got to stay in a hotel all by myself and no home stresses, no DH, no dogs, no looking at my messes and stressing. I love that some times just time to myself!

Ok ladies - I think I am super women but these long days and nights wore me outs so heading to bed! yawn!

    Yeah Scottie!!!

    Happy Birthday - Ramols!!!

2 Fried Eggs / love your new Avatar. Still can't believe you didn't buy the shirt.... But I understand, where else on earth would you wear it.

Scottie- so happy for you, I love all clears!

2fried- yes indeed love the shirt.

I seem to have misplaced my motivation for the bitch tonight. I got through the first 1/2 mile but the 2nd 1/2 mile is lingering on. I think I'm just exhausted after a long night last night and an even longer day. Well time to get back on it and see what that brings me.

Wonderful news, Scottie - no way we're going to be able to keep Tazzy off the table tonight, might as well join her up there :)

McCook - good for you for sending the food back, I think that might be something cancer has taught me to do - be more assertive, advocate for myself

2fried - love the T-shirt - you could consider wearing at the retreat next fall

Chrisrenee - hope you showed 'Jillian' who was boss with that second 1/2 mile.

So far day 2 of Tamoxifen and no side effects that I'm aware of, was already having hot flashes, they are no worse yet. Celebrating that and being able to increase speed on treadmill to 3 and incline to 2, with five minutes at 3.2 for 45 minutes today. Don't think the scale has moved this week but happy with energy level getting better

Ok so my boss is a complete idiot at times ... So we are talking performances(remember I work in a male dominate industry and I am one of the last female managers in my field) he says to me comments that just are so wrong:) he says that he is doing the performance reviews and writing mine he has giving me a break for this year because of my health stuff. Ok mother fucker! I did not miss a day of work during chemo I worked a week after my surgery and my sites has the best numbers in the company exact come back except ok mf! Omg I am so pissed! I am so tired of this man! Now I am awake!

I am honest when I state my area where I need improvement but this just mad me lash back!

Okie dokie thanks for letting me vent! Gosh darn I have tried to win him over for a year since he became my manager!

Good news - BS and I discussed the mammo and for sure I am clear of BC..  But it was an interesting visit, BS thinks my breast is fine and i just have to live with the nerve pain.. I was telling him about the "costchondritis" my pain management doc thinks i have and the swelling in my right clavicle. He just said the clavicle can be more prominate on one side but do I have family history of gallbladder issues... gallbladder ultrasound on monday... Does it ever stop?? And he thinks, IF I had LE, he doesn't see where.. so I told him how I can be at one weight go have a full MLD done at the LE T's office and get on the scale the next morning and be 5 lbs lighter... He said, "Hmm" and started talking about the gallbladder again.  I really think I am done with doctors, LE and everything... Why can't I have a good day and not have them believe I am fine and I don't have LE anymore.

GmaFoley......congrats on your mammo....regarding your GB....do you have any symptoms....I had my GB out 3 years ago....if you have a problem with your GB....believe me you know about it.....the pain is excruciating and usually happens in the middle of the night, lasting anywhere from 2-4 hours.

GB pain is quite distinctive.....you would know if you had it....you are doubled up with pain. The pain persists for many hours.

That's what I am thinking. I think he is in his "rule out" mode again. I went through this 25 years ago when the pain in my ribs was that bad.

Happy belated (which I'm sure it is now) birthday Ramols.

One day I have missed and look how much I have to try and catch up on.

Great news on positive results ladies.

I will catch up tomorrow as had a way busier day in work than I thought... didn't leave until 3.30 (should've been 2) and have a stinking headache so am going to have dinner and veg out.   Guess that's what happens when I have to concentrate again.. well I guess I need to get used to that as retirement is out of the question.

Love your f-bombs Juneau... never apologise for them.  Its only a word.

mcook... did notice when you mentioned f-bombs.. it said fboobs Wink

    Love you all xxx

Thanks again ladies for all the b-day wishes - you really made my day. Happy for those of you with good results on things today! Just posted this on 2012 sisters and wanted to share here:

Today - when I really needed a pick me up - fate
intervened once again. I think we've all had experiences like this, but
it amazes me when someone is dropped in our path right when we need
them. Been having some frustrating boo hoo me days with all these scans
and appointments I have to do as follow-up to my little stroke scare
after my exchange surgery. Was doing my best to feel happy and good
today but glumness was looming as hubby and I waited at the pizza parlor
for our slices after a long day of hurry up and wait at mskcc. Well -
as I'm standing there in my scarf, a sweet young guy who couldn't have
been a day older than 25 or 26 by my estimations came up to me and said -
I hope you don't mind my saying this to you, but I finished chemo about
a year ago and you look beautiful. Poor guy went through two surgeries
and lots of chemo for lymphoma - but you wouldn't know it to look at
him. He proudly announced that today was his 1 year clean scan. We
talked for a bit and stressed how it gets better. The further out you
get from the chemo - it all lifts away. And looking at him today - you'd
never guess in a million years what he went through just a year ago. It
was a really nice way to end a kind of crappy day.

Mcook- I would have had to punch that Dick in his head. Then tell him to go fuck himself. I don't care if he thought he was giving you a break. Let's cut his balls off and see how quick he would be back at work. Can you tell that that comment pissed me off?!

    Tazzy - rest up

Mccook - vent away! You didn't ask for a break, you didn't t give yourself one or take advantage of the company during treatment, your site does have the best numbers, you deserve a good performance review, not a 'break'. Are pay increases dependent upon good performance review at your company?

MCook/ vent away. He's a jerk. You can rise above him.

Although I do love Christenee's idea. You can picture that in your dreams.

Mcook, how frustrating and annoying for you! And the unbelievable thing is that he probably thinks he is being 'kind' and accomodating. How insensitive and how oblivious can you be?

Ramols, so good that guy was there when you needed him. I have to agree that the further you get away from treatment, the better it gets. The memory will be there forever, but it fades as time goes by. As you get back into normal life, you don't think about it so often any more.

Tazzy, only two more days before the weekend is here!

GmaFoley, gallbladdder pain is excrucating. You won't be posting here if that is the case. It is worse than childbirth when even a small stone passes through the bile duct. The last acute gall bladder episode I had before surgery lasted from three in the afternoon till midnight. I was given an injection for the pain, but it gave only a little relief. The pain subsided dramatically once the stone had passed.

    mcook301,

Depending on how pissed you are you should report him. As a previous nurse manager for many years and much training I learned...You can't say anything subjective to anyone that you wouldn't say to everyone. His statement was totally sexist and stupid.

Sorry for the hurt, I always placed so much importance on how my work was judged and how I judged others. I am proud of the fact that I learned to be objective and put personal feelings and thoughts aside when dealing with people (for the most part). Now I don't have control over my thoughts, just what comes out of my mouth. He obviously doesn't.

Thanks ladies- I have been dealing with this way before chemo but I kept took it but now I have little patience with it and I definitely call him out on it and he knows it. I think it will eventually be time for me to move on after my surgery I will just ride the wave until I can find something else. Ten years doing this I think it is time:)

Yep wanted to kick in the nads! Chrisrenee! I was thinking the same thing how would he handle on this. I bet he would not be at work.

Ramols: I love when those things happen to me. for me it's my higher power talking to me through others; at times givning me some hope when I'm lacking in it.  Your experience gave me chills. Thanks so much for sharing!

Chrisrenee:  ROFLMAO - Cut his balls off!  LOL!!! Thanks, I needed that laugh.

mcook:  fuck him!  and just out of curiosity - what do you do for work?  (and I LOVE my danskos!!!  Wearing my red patent leather ones now!  (they are actually boc's (Born concepts) - much lighter then danskos)

tazzy: i noticed that too... FBOOBS - a very appropriate spell check "fix".  lol - but I didn't know FBOOBS was a word either?

To all - Good Morning ladies!  I weigh in today at WW during lunch.  Got on The Bitch last night again. I'm hopeful. I got on the scale at home and it went down from 180.2 two days ago to 178.6, so perhaps there will be a change here too.  It's the weight I am recording.  It's all I can do... Here's what I have to say to the scale today....

Ha glad I can give ya'll a laugh. I went through the same thing last year with my BMX actually. My counterpart here at work, was pissed that I was going to be out during his vacation time and asked our supervisor "why I had to have surgery at that time". Are you kidding me?! I had cancer you were going out for pleasure, there's a big freaking difference.

I weighed this morning it says I'm down 1 lb. I guess I will take it, it's not the 5 I was looking for. 1lb is 1lb closer right? Hope you all are having a great day!
