I don't know how Tim Tams haven't become a worldwide sensation by now.. I do recall there was a caramel version I think and a double chocolate maybe, but yes, the orignal was the best!  No, no, no... Vegemite is probably the most digusting thing I have ever tried in my life lol.  I can't believe it is a breakfast spread that appeared be cherished. Honestly, i can still taste it, 13 years later and want to gag!!!

I did see there was a new Block, I just recently finished the All Stars, but I had to finish Grey's Anatomy first, which I did last night.

I went to Australia in July with a GF.. one of her co-workers came from Aus and had invited us to go when she visited family and so off we went.  I loved it there.. we stayed at her family home in Melbourne for a couple of days and then we all rented a cottage.. I forget where it was.. but I remember waking up and there were Kangaroo right outside!! It was so exciting and we went to some place that had tons of Koalas.  They aren't as cute up close as you always think they are going to be and they are dirty and lazy!  Then we went to this little zoo and this adorable deer followed us all around, I'll never forget that.  I think the Olympics were that fall if I recall.

Thank you for explaining about the probe, that is fascinating, I thought to tell a real gem you looked inside it... again, I wouldnt know a real from cubic unless it was really bad.

We had a great day, it was nice and warm, but a tad windy near the ocean.  The important thing is she enjoyed herself.

Gosh, most people don't do half the things it sounds like Colin does with all their limbs.

    Enjoy your walk with Dex!

I just read bout the Koalas in people's back yards.. don't  Koala's go through leaves like nobody's business?

Bobogirl, I tried your rice last night and I quite liked it.  Well, haha.. not your rice which I am sure would knock my socks off.. but my version of coconut/lemon rice.  I really liked it! I think I put a tad too much coconut, but other than that it was really nice and the best part is, I didn't have to put anything else in the rice, like butter or anything, so less calories!

I'm going to have to figure out what the heck maca is.. when you described the ice cream, I had thought maca was short for macadamia.. hence the nuts comment.

I think I watched The Bachelor first season it was out.. but it didn't take with me... I have two co-workers who are crazy for the show.  Has any of the relationships worked out from that?

Choco chip! Yummmmm!!  Now I have to find this ice cream.. love coconut.  Cookies & ice cream ALL in the same night?  Now who is the naughty one!?!

Be careful about the spikes bracelet.. me thinks it might be like the ones I am returning.. and they were flimsy flimsy!  I'm still so sad over that.

You are a bad bad influence.. now you have her searching high and low for ice cream and she will be having deliveries of that now and Colin WILL find out!

I do want a Steel Magnolia town and I want Dolly Parton to be my hairdresser because I loved her in that movie... wait.. didn't love the hairdos so I might have to rethink that one.  Do you miss snow/winter? I think I would.. besides I can't move to your town becuase I am moving in with Moira, Colin & Dexter.. and Dexter is going to be my new main squeeze with his sexy rock star hair.  They have to get rid of the Vegemite though.

Had a good laugh at the bracelets knocking at the door story.  What does DLLP think of the bracelets?  Tinkle Tinkle Tinkle!

You so are obsessed.. we may need to hold an intervention.. and I do think you should be getting a commission or something from the company.

Gosh, ldesim, you were in Melbourne when I lived there. If you flew United, I may have even met your aircraft, maybe even checked you in when you departed. Small world!

I am glad you saw Koalas for what they really are! LOL Stinky, nasty, lazy critters. Yes they do eat a lot, and only a few very specific types of Gum Leaf. They have tons of the right trees on the island, and the people over there are very Pro Koalas. That's fine until one pee's on you from above, yuck!

I am fixing up the spare room for you, as we speak! I keep trying to remember the Steel Magnolias Town, but I think I am getting it mixed up with Fried Green Tomatoes town. My town here has only 2000 people. Not sure of the size you are talking about girls.

I am thinking of you too, Gramwe. I hope you're just busy today!

Bobo, of the jingling bracelets, you take care too! Chat soon my lovelies!

I'm alive and kicking, soon I'll be screaming with the kicking, like a 2 year old child, I DO Not want to go to the MO today. I know my dread will possibly be worse than the actual event. I suppose I should explain where my fear is coming from so you all don't think I'm completely bonkers. My mom passed away from BC, it was never found in her breast it was found when her appendix ruptured, something that a whole group of doctors scratched their heads over. She was offered tomax, but she and I decided it wasn't worth the possible SE, I feel now that I mislead her, because I did no research like I've done with myself. 5 months after the appendix was removed, she had terrible back pain, mets to spine, she did 6 rads only for pain control, and passed away 3 weeks later. I have a million questions, is all the back pain I have mets, was I negligent in her care, in a nut shell Im blaming myself for her death and wonder if this is my punishment for not being more proactive in her care. My heart tells me we did the right thing, my head tells me otherwise. So yes maybe I am bonkers.

Sorry I just needed to get that out. Hopefully it will make me feel better. Let you know what the good doctor says later on. Hugs, and thanks for being here, I need you all more than you could know.

So the appointment wasn't without a bit of a shock, I'm not stage 1, but in fact stage 2. The back pain is going to be looked into, with an MRI, but he wants me to see my GP first and get him to order the test. MO did order a bone density study, normal practice before taking femara. I just swallowed my first one, so we shall see.

I'm going to buy a bracelet now. And eat chocolates!

I would be going out of my mind.  I'm glad they are listening to you...  I hope you get the MRI scheduled soon for your peace of mind.

I DID fly United!!! omg.. I never thought of them peeing on my head.. but I see how that would be possible... ewwwww!!!

Fried Green Tomatoes was kind of a grimy rundown town wasn't it?  Steel Magnolias town has pretty houses and lots of flowering trees and nutty neighbors... and you just know that every day there is in the mid 70's with the sunshining and a gentle breeze.

Okay, so much to address here!

    First off, wren, you are a sweet darling, I can already tell, and you give beautiful hugs.  Here is one for you.  {{{{{wren}}}}}

Secondly, gramwe -- of course we understand!  I do.  I understand completely.  I don't think you are bonkers.  We are all right here for you.  We are in your pocket at your appointments.  Just let us know when if you like so we can get in there.  I agree with idesim -- treats treats treats!  And garden.  Which bracelet are you getting?!

Wren, you should know that I do NOT need an intervention.  I am never addicted to anything and I really can only drink 1/2 of a beer, and then I wash my hair with the flat other half!  And, I gave two of my bracelets to my six-year-old daughter today.  And she is so beautiful in them.  This shows I am NOT addicted.  :)   Wren, I am going to get another bracelet for my birthday,  and another one for my nasty upcoming biopsy which is hanging over my head.  p.s.  These bracelets are not even real!  They are real magic, but they are not expensive. Imagine if we were addicted to, like, platinum bracelets.

Idesim, if the spikes look bad I will look into getting some proper punk spikes.  Speaking of which, I am getting my hair done next week -- I am rocking some professional punk-edged streaks lately -- and what color should I have put in?  I am taking a poll amongst my gang members.

Idesim, I totally hear you regarding the spikes.  I will try to look for them in the shop.  We have only one tiny shop in a shop, I have not been yet.  In fact... bracelet gang... go to the shops and look out for the spikes of courage.  See if it looks chinzy.  Idesim, you live in a dream world, since Ariom already told me she was adopting me, plus will be grandma to my children.  It is a complicated arrangement.  That means Dex will be my brother.  Except that I have romantic feelings for Dex.  This soap opera writes itself.  DO NOT tell Colin I have ordered the snake.

Maca is some magical antioxidant thing.  I don't know -- it's from the rainforest, I think.  It's like the new 'goji berry.'  Remember when goji berries were the new thing?  Anyway, I could marry that ice cream.  The bachelor is truly excellent.  It doesn't matter if the marriages last: it is a metaphor.  Wow.  All of the bachelor contestants this time around look gay gay gay to me.  They look like gay soap opera stars.  I am worried about the female Bachelorette.

Ariom, laughing!  Idesim flew United!  You did not see her because she did not make any rock star VIP temper tantrums!  Those are the only ones which got your attention, I am sure of it.  Idesim: another reason to behave badly more often.  Let that be a lesson to you.

I am laughing like a madwoman, Bobogirl.  I was going to ask you if your daughters (don't you have 2?) had stolen your bracelets yet!

What color is your hair? I have been threatening that when my hair grew back enough, I was going to dye it Fushia and spike it.  Right now it is gross gray and not long enough to do anything with... I am so hoping I get my mousy brown back that I always hated!!! Serves me right for hating it!

I've actually done research on this.. my gf's daughter is a hairdresser and she says most salons use stains and not dyes and it will wash out quickly.  You have the bleach the area first and she told me to buy the dye and just do it.  I think she said pinks and purples last the longest and red lasts the least.   You're going to LOVE this..... a good dye to use is Punky Color and you can get it from the folica.com website and just search for a color chart.

I've never heard of Goji berries.. can you get high off them? lol.

They probably ARE gay soap opera stars..

I think from now on I will throw rockstar VIP tantrums, because that just sounds like a hell of a lot of fun and will go with the Fuschia spiked hair.

And did you miss the part where Ariom is getting the room ready for me??? You can't have Dexter, that would be incest and a Koala will pee on your head and Colin WILL FIND OUT!!

Oh Gramwe, I do so understand how you feel. We can be bonkers together.

My Mother had BC too. Just four months after we lost my Dad.  Mum came into my house, next door to her, and showed me a huge, golfball size lump high on her left breast. I remember saying that it was too big to be cancer, but when we went to the Doctor the next day, he gave me the nod, and got her an appointment for a specialist. How he knew from that moment is beyond me, but after a FNA three weeks later, we had a DX. Fortunately, my Mum was hard of hearing, and she hadn't realised what was actually being said, so she had a few weeks before actually finding out what it was.

As soon as she was told it was cancer, she turned to me and said "Moira, you decide!" I was numb, but knew how susceptable she was to meds, just like me. So I said, "If it were me, I'd have the Mx, no chemo! or Rads, unless something worse is found!" How prophetic was that? I digress.

She had the Radical mx and an axillary clearance, and Tamox for 5 years, fortunately she didn't have too many SE's. During that time my Mother was Dx with dementia and had to go into care. I had looked after her for three years at home, but it just got to be too much. as she slipped into dementia, and was robbed of her memories, her Doctor and I decided to just treat her as needed, no heroic intervention, and unless indicated, no testing etc. To this day, I don't know if she had a recurrence. She appeared to be comfortable and well, but with no real quality of life at all. The Doctor said she could have cancer, but should we put her through the testing? She was like a small child now. I decided, no!

The day she passeed, I was in Hospital with a killer flu that had brought on my first ever asthma attack. I couldn't go to her, and to this day I am riddled with guilt that I wasn't there at the end. I know in my heart, I was there almost every day for years, but I still feel the guilt.

When I read your story, I understand where you're coming from, and you did all you could with what you had at the time. We beat ourselves up don't we!

((((((((Huge Hugs)))))))) to you Gramwe! I am in your pocket too, with the others!

ldesim, we may have spoken at the Airport!

Now, I remember, Steel Magnolias. That was one of those towns that you see in the movies, and wonder if it really exists. I love that. They always have the great gardens, and sensational decor. I must say my favourite "Movie" house was the one Dianne Keaton had in "Something's Gotta Give."

I must start building an extension to the house if I am to have so many moving in. I must say, Dex is a fairweather Dog, whoever has the food is the favourite!

I love all this hair color talk. When Bec went through her Goth stage, it was "cesspool" green streaks for her.

Oh, gosh, if you could see how many of the SuperFoods I ingest every day. I take Kalari Crush, which is all the wild fruits from up in the north of Australia that supposedly kept our indigenous people alive for millions of years. Glow fermented powder with everything from Mung beans to Queen Garnet plum, Acai, and Goji are in there too, also Maxi Greens, more pro biotics and Fermented Spirulina. I have just ordered Green Vibrance from the US to try for a change. It gets great reviews. Between these, and my 5 Tibetan Rites, I am powering along! LOL

My name is Moira, and I am a consumer!

I think you are all right, about the Gay Soap Stars!

Colin is ready for the US arrivals, with Punk hair and Jangly bracelets. He's used to me bringing all kinds of interesting people home! LOL

A few weeks ago it was the Vet and his wife that I met at the seafood shop!

    Take care everyone....have a lovely Evening/ Day!

First off, Ariom, please don't feel badly about your mother's passing... you were in the hospital yourself!  You did everything you could!  You know, to look at it from another perspective, your mum may have decided it was a good time for her to go, just at that moment.  Your mum loves you so.

That being said, Gramwe, how are you?  Was just reading on the bco website about how three drinks a week increases bc risk.  Yikes.  As I said, I do have a beer on occasion.  Does it add up to three drinks a week?  Must relieve stress.  Feel I deserve two beers, in fact, if I could drink them down.

Idesim, I did see how Ariom was getting a room ready, but I believe you were to be a VISITOR.  However, I see no reason why we cannot be sisters.  I will draw the line with Dex, though.  When I heard he has hair like Rod Stewart my stomach plunged.  I love him.

Idesim, you are too mannerly for Dex.  I am crossing over to the bad side!  I threw a temper tantrum at the UPS store.  Sure, I drive a minivan with a hillary bumper sticker.  But my true punk side is emerging.  Dex has a dark side as well; we are meant to be together..

I feel this is an excellent time for you to consider streaks!  I know you have been thinking about your hair appointment.  I was thinking, since gray is coming in, and that's light, that you could consider blonde!  Like, bad girl blonde!  Can't wait to hear what you decide.  My hair is dark, but my hairdresser put in streaks (please reference earlier posts, in which I begged him and he gave me the Japanese rite of three refusals), and he said they were violet, but they quickly faded, and now they just look like regular gentle highlights.  In fact, even the first day, they still looked... pretty.  Not violet.  More on the auburn side.  I did have a little blue, underneath, but it washed out in one day!  Mad at my hairdresser.  I want punk-edged streaks for my birthday.  I do not think it is too much to ask, considering all I have been through.

Ariom, today is the day!  Today is the day I am going to do the five rites for the first time!  As a reward, I would like you to tell me exactly which supplements I should get to put into my smoothie.  Please choose US based ones if you can, so I can get them quickly.  And by the way, what is your bracelet update?  Have you arranged for a bracelet for your next package?  Don't forget: idesim has got me onto zeeberry.com, which always has a 15% off coupon, plus free shipping.  You could have it free-shipped to your Florida place.  They do not have the snake.

Oh!  Almost forgot.  LOVE the 'Something's Gotta Give' house.  DLLP and I call that 'house porn' -- when you watch a movie just to look at the house.  More house porn: It's Complicated, starring Meryl Streep.  In fact, both are directed by the same woman.

Okay. I have a grueling day of work ahead of me.  I am going to need hair and bracelet updates, stat.

Ooh! Idesim!  Have just read your post more carefully.  Excellent insider hairdresser update!  Your GF is right.  It is a stain.  I do have the streaks bleached out.  My hairdresser did say I would have to refresh them myself.  Am girding my loins for this.  Real punks do their own hair.

p.s.  You are the most excellent and beautiful enabler!  That is almost like being punk.  You have just executed a 'punk assist,' I think.

Oh, and it bears mentioning that over on the 'What's for dinner?' thread, which is full of dear people, I mentioned that my tattoo window is closing, and that DLLP had bid on a tattoo package and WON at my daughter's school fundraiser (?), and the dinner people were all like Well Bobo.  Be careful.  A tattoo is a commitment.  Draw it on first.  Be careful, and I didn't reply directly, of course, because they are so clear, but privately I was all like, F that.

You know what, Bobo? You're one smart cookie!

I have always said, I thought, deep down, that my Mother may have waited to go, on her own. She knew how hard I had taken, being with my Dad when he passed. It doesn't make it any easier, really, feeling the guilt is just how we are wired, I think.

I gave up drinking ages ago, so that's got to be a good thing, doesn't it? Not so much as a Campagne at Christmas any more.

I am proud of you Miss Bobo, for giving the Rites a go. You must ge the book, if you intend to continue. I don't know if I believe all the stuff about how it was discovered, but I do know it works. I am beginning to feel the difference, and Colin says he can see a difference. My friend, the ballet dancer, is getting great results. He emails me every other day to make sure I haven't stopped doing the Rites, he is obsessed, but then he is a gay ballet dancer, and we've been pals for nearly 40years, so he can boss me around! It's for my own good, he says!

I love all this hair color talk. I bought hair crayons for Bec. I can't use anything on my hair because it is so white that it just sucks in the color and would stain for too long. I do like  the idea of Violet and Fuschia.

Bobo, the newest supplement is Green Vibrance. I have ordered it from Vitacost. I get a lot of stuff sent from there. Take a look at it online, they have a fruit version too. I like the look of this one because it has Enzymes as well as ProBiotics, all those Veg, and the most important one is Spirulina, the most nutrient dense food available, ok it is pond scum, but it's good for you! I also mae sure I have a handful of 5 different berries (frozen) in a smoothie every day. They are anti infammatory. I do it for the Rheumatoid, and now there is evidence that BC may have an inflammatory component.

I have decided to hold off on the bracelets for now, till I find out if I can have them sent through MyUs, I refuse to pay $20.00 postage from the website, when they don't have all the bracelets I want at the same time.

I just looove both those houses, house porn, I like that!

Now, Miss Bobo, the Tattoo story? What was that about?

I have to tell you about my Tattoo story.

When I turned 40, almost 20 years ago, my Father, who had been an Officer in the Navy, and absolutely loathed Tattoos had just passed away.

I had been harboring a desire for a Tattoo forever, but knew I couldn't do it while my Dad was alive.

Anyway, I found a Tattooist near home and spoke with him about what I wanted. He drew up a Vine with some jasmine flowers, and some thorns with winding tendrils. It was just what I wanted, so I decided to go for it. I was straddling a big barber's chair, for the Tattoo to go on my hip.

It was a beautiful sunny day outside, but as soon as the Tattooist started, it got dark, and the wind started to howl, the rain was coming down in sheets, and it felt like the roof might come off. I turned to the the artist and said "Don't worry, it's just my Dad letting me know he's not happy about this!"

I so wanted to have a subtle Tattoo on my newly flat chest, but I am too paranoid about LE to do it. I am considering having a Mehindi, Henna Tattoo done and getting some photos of it. My window of opportunity for photos is running out, as the big 6 0 is fast approaching! LOL

Unless the Rites kick in and I start looking younger!

Just had to tell you that the notice board at the supermarket is asking for volunteer Koala Counters, now that's a sure fire way to get peed on from above. Why are they asking for volunteers? They count them regularly, on the island. Don't ask me why, it's not like they can go anywhere! LOL

Lovely catching up ladies....Take care of yourselves!

Picturing the look on my family's face if they came in to find me with fuschia hair, don't think the OGs heart could take the shock. Then again he is use to our daughter in law, popping in with what he calls, "non-human" colors in her hair. She recently said she was going back to her natural hair Color, OG asked how she knew her natural Color. Her response, "Oh, its in a box under the bathroom sink".

I saw a Flat & Fabulous, like me in the park this morning. Is it weird that the first thing I look at now are other women's chest? I get so excited when I see other Buddhas, its nice to know you aren't alone.

Out of time! Got to get my flowers watered before the sun gets them. Be back later. Hugs

Gramwe, I don't know which I like more, OG's "non-human" colors statement or daughter in law's reply lol!  I don't look at other women's chests.. yet... but if I don't have a book to keep me occupied, I do peer around on the subway seeing if I can detect wigs.  I do not think it is strange, after all, men have been doing it for years :)

I think you totally should think about sporting the Fuschia hair, if only to get Bobogirl off my back!  As long as she punks out one of us, I think she will be content. I have had blonde streaks in the past.. I don't know about all over blonde.. I'm Italian, so I have dark eyes, brows and my complexion has an the olive tint.

Tattoos.. afraid I can't help you there, I've never liked them (I know.. boooo!) and omg just getting the 5 dots I got for rads.. HURT LIKE HELL!!! I can't imagine having anything drawn on me!!!  Seriously, I am not a baby about these things, I don't flinch when having blood taken or the catheter put in, but the tattoos really hurt!! Cesspool green hair does not sound attractive at all... yuk.  Your dad totally was upset.. I truly believe this! Tattoos are bad!

Volunteer Koala Counters... what is this a hobby?  That is most bizarre, I am sure there are more contructive things that volunteers can be doing.. like visiting the elderly or sickly.. no... they'd rather count koalas who probably haven't moved since the last counting!

Don't drink either.. I know I'm starting to sound like a prude, but I am so not.   I do  swear like a truck driver.. does that redeem me?  I've never liked the taste of alcohol and when I do have a drink it has to be a girly fruit thing that hides any alcohol taste!  I do love beer when I have sore throat, it makes it feel better and I instead of cold/cough medicine, I take a shot of whiskey.  See? I'm cool.. really.

Very sad story about your mom, Moira.. but it's too funny, I had the same thought as I was reading it.. that maybe she was waiting.  I'm very sorry about your mom and your dad.  I lost my dad 6 years ago and still miss him every day, he was the parent I was closest too, probably becuase we are two stubborn peas in a pod. You my dear have been through a LOT in your lifetime and have had your share of sadness, but it sounds like you had a lot of amazing times as well and lets not forget you managed to fit in getting married three times? lol wow!!

So Bobogirls, since you said F that  to being cautious, what do you have in mind for your tatoo.. or is DLLP getting the tattoo, or are both of you?  Bear in mind, I have on good authority that Dexter may have rock star hair, but he does not like tattoos, so it looks like you are out of the running :)

I am ignoring the paragraph about eating pond scum, you people are crazy and I think you all need some good old fashioned preservatives.   12 types of lettuce, 5 types of berries.. Maca with a 3 page desription on Wiki... I just can't keep up.  I'll stick with my Tim Tams and pudding pies until all this crap is over!  Have I told you all that I still haven't gotten over Hostess closing its doors? It's true!  I found out the day after a chemo treatment and hubby and I RACED to the Hostess warehouse near us and bought all the chocolate cupcakes we could find. There was several local news station reporters there and they were all like.... "can we speak to you a moment" and I was all like... "Are you kidding??? I need to get the Twinkies!!! Don't you understand????"  But alas, there were no Twinkies left.  And I wonder why I am like 15 lbs overweight... BUT 10 of it is from chemo!!! Honestly!!

House porn, I can totally get into that.  I don't recall either of the houses, but honestly, I could go all day looking at houses.. I seriously considered becoming a realtor.... the only thing that stopped me was the tiny little fact that you have to deal with the general public.  That was kinda a deal breaker for me.  Cuz lets face it.. a lot of people do suck.

Hmmm... I better get back to work.

Ideism, I cracked up over "who probably haven't moved since the last counting".

Perhaps we should tell one of the companies making temporary tatoos that they're missing a big market. The ones GS use stay on for 4 days if not scrubbed. They can be washed gently. I would totally do a temporary if it was vines and flowers instead of princesses and superman.

I look at house porn and wonder who lives there. Do they ever sit in a chair and read with a coffee or lemonade in their hand? How do they see with no lamps? How do they keep other people from putting something on the carefully arranged coffee table?

I see things get out of hand if I turn my back for the teeniest minute.

Idesim, I will NOT be satisfied if I punk out Gramwe only!  She is having a hard week.  I am not even thinking about her hair at the  moment!  You are right, though -- I am part Italian.  I can see how certain blonds will not work.  So how about platinum?  Like, the most gray?  Like an Eileen Fisher model?

Well, I have been shooting my mouth off for the past six months (in the house) about how my tattoo window is closing (because I am so old) and so, DLLP won me an auction package with a tattoo in it.  Not for her -- she already has one, from when she was young.  It is of a spooky looking turtle, I do not like it.

Anyway, I am definitely getting one.  Or two.  I just feel like it.  So.  Idesim, I am NOT making you get a tattoo.  However, I am putting some small amount of pressure on a friend of mine, who just had birthday number 47.  She is like you.  She is extremely resistant.  I told her -- just the tiniest one!  Just one dot!  But I don't think she is going to do it.

Hmm.  So sad about your hostess cupcakes. I  do have a recipe from Post Punk Kitchen for vegan hostess cupcakes -- the chocolate ones.  Just in case you are missing them.  Ariom, I cut out vitamins awhile back -- I used to take a ton of them -- but I just lost heart and stopped doing it.  So now I will look for some supplements to put in my smoothies.  I do put in chia and ground flax (Ariom is just cringing right now).  But I think I want the green one.  What is the best green one.

Idesim, what were you shopping for?  And what will your hair color be?  I can't wait to find out.

Ok, I'm back.. kinda slow today.. hate that.. the day just drags.

I didn't tell you about the lilacs and how I almost got arrested!  Yesterday started out crappy anyways...  I only had like 3 hours sleep for some unknown reason, I just couldn't fall asleep and of course since it was a rads day, I had to be up and out of the house extra early.  I am NOT a morning person.  So you know I love my lilacs.. and to break up the monotony of doing this damn radiation everyday, I give myself little things to look forward to and the block of lilac bushes is one of those things.  Well, the lilacs are starting to disappear and there is very few flowers left on the bushes and hardly no smell and I am bumming out about this, because what can I fixiate on next that will take me through the end of radition?

So there is this woman walking in front of me and we are walking down lilac row and I am fixiated on her head as she has the biggest bun I have ever seen in my life.  Not a bun as in bun in the oven, but bun as in perched on her head bun. You could keep your dry cleaning in this bun and have plenty of room for your lunch.  So this keeps me entertained for a little bit.....  until... This big bun (the b word goes in nicely here).... "lady" grabs one of the lilac flowers off of one of the  almost naked bush... sniffs it and THROWS it to the ground! I was appalled!! I honestly had to stop myself from grabbing her shoulder, turning her around and giving her a ration of crap along with a *()*# $ slap as well!!!

Then I get to the hospital and there are doing some kind of construction all around and I go to the ladies room, do my business, come out of the stall, wash my hands and turn to leave  and there sitting near the doorway (or maybe it was standing.. who knows) is the biggest cockroach I have ever seen in my life.. at least that is what I think it was.  In fact I am sure it was with all the construction going on.  I can do mice, I can do snakes, I can do reptiles, I can do spiders.. BUGS.. I cannot do at all and the larger the bug the more skeeved I get. I screamed and froze up.  Dilemma.. how do I get the hell out of the bathroom without it attacking me while frozen in fear???   I ended up running around it and leaping out of the bathroom.. I just thank my lucky stars I had just gone pee :)  The security guard was probably wondering what was up with the whacko leaping out of the bathroom, but since I was still in total shock, I wasn't able to scream and inform him I am not crazy but there was a cockroach in the bathroom!! Instead I headed to my radiation destination.

This is just a terrible start to the day!

Where is the rockstar temper tantrum you have been promising?  I think you were just tired.  Had you had a nice smoothie, you would have had the energy you needed to throw that big-bunned maniac to the ground.  Or, alternately, you could give her a very quiet steel-eyed dressing down until she burst into tears.  If the woman is unmarried, you could try a very simple, disappointed-sounding, Who is going to marry you.

seem to remember you get an Alex and Ani bracelet for each week of rads... I hope that new one cheers you right up!  XXXX

I wasn't shopping for anything in particular.. i was just passing time... that gets me in lots of trouble.

lol spooky turtle.. that is too funny.  I don't think there is a window for tattoos, although I do suppose it would be nice to get one and enjoy it a bit before it gets all wrinkled :)

I think I have months to go before I will be able to do anything with my hair, cut it or dye it.  I don't think I can get my hair dyed now and honestly there isn't enough to dye haha.  I probably will just do blonde highlights.. my cousin does red chunks throughout her brown hair and it looks amazing... she's a drummer in a band, so she can get away with it.  I don't know how work would take any "non-human" colors.  A couple of years ago, they gave the receptionist a hard time because she had lime green nail polish on!  I think that is a tad ridiculous.  I have teal toenail polish...shhh.. don't tell anybody.

Thanks for recipe offer, but I do need to lose weight and I think I ate enough of those to last me a lifetime after our raid.

And everytime you call yourself old.. you are calling me old too and I don't like it!! I have like 5 years on you.. so HUSH!
