Some interesting topics going on here. Porn, tattoos, drinking, peeing Koalas, barfing on the rug, sounds like a wild party.

Hold on, while I make me a drink and shine up my tattoo. Yes, I do drink, I know it's not good. Also have an old tattoo, it was originally a single rose, then over the years as the weight bloomed so did that darn rose, now it's a bouquet! Please tell us what kind of school fund raiser had a tattoo as a prize. Sounds like an open minded school..If they tried that here there would be little old blue haired ladies picketing the school. Remember this is the south, they only made tattoos legal here a few years ago. We a bit behind the rest of the world. Luckily that means we haven't been enlightened to the benefits of pond scum either. Roots, berries, and herbs are as healthy as this old gal is getting.

We do have house porn, indoor plumbing , and air conditioning will get you lots of new friends. Never had the misfortune of being peed on by a koala, but I could tell you some stories about hissing possum's in the middle of the night. Now if y'all will excuse me, I'm going to go dig out an old bra, grab a few rocks and see if I can shoot a squirrel out of the tree for dinner. : ) Hugs

Gramwe, when you list it like that, it makes us seem so naughty :)

You're right -- it is a very alternative school!  No picketing yet.  But surprise!  It is in the South.  I guess it's a liberal pocket in the South.

Poor dirty Koalas.  My image of them is now shattered.  I feel badly for them now.  Are they tame?  Could you give them a bath?

Idesim, I am tattoo-old -- I won't say we are old altogether.  PLEASE NOTE:  Once when I was at the BS the nurse came out to take me back and she looked at DLLP and said, Would you like your mother to come in with you?  I laughed about that for a month!

    Oh Wow!

So much to catch up on, you girls are so prolific, when I am sleeping!

You have to send photos of this colored hair, when it happens.

I snorted my hot tea through my nose when I read the Koala comment. I know it sounds really daft, but it is all about  if they are breeding. Believe me, that's about the only other thing they do, when they aren't peeing on you, with highly concentrated eucalyptus oil.

It's funny, you know, I never think about having had a lot happen in my life, but I guess when you put it that way, there's never a dull moment.

Wren, I like your thinking! I actually contacted a Tatto company here to ask if they had anything in their temorry tattoos that would do the job for some photos, and they don't have anything. You have definitely found a niche market for them.

What's all this about the window closing Miss Bobo. I had my first at 40, and am thinking of another at 60!

So, so true about the porn houses. I have friends who live like that. I am scared to have a cup of tea. I am a klutz, when under any pressure, so I hate going there for fear of causing a decor disaster .

Now Miss Bobo, I think you missed my post about the supplement to try in your smoothie, it's called "Green Vibrance", it has everything in it, check it out online. Mine should be arriving in a week or so. I buy it from Vitacost, along with Naturade, which is a Soy meal replacement protein drink. I have that with the berries, half a banana, and the Greens, and my favorite, Almond milk (unsweetened). You won't need any Vitamins if you get  into this it has a high degree of the daily intake in it. I only take a small amount of Vitamins, like Vit D because I take cortisone for my Rheumatoid, and it thins the bones. I get a much sunlight as I can to help it along too.

ldesim, I am so sorry that the Lilacs are fading, there must be something new that will be blossoming soon to keep your attention on the walk to Rads.

I totally agree with you on the pain of the Tattoo, I vowed to never do it again, but hey, here I am, I said I'd never marry again after the first time too LOL

Oh I love that you swear like a truckie! My ex named me "Gutter Gums!" It is the Glaswegian in me, the Scots are prolific swearers, is that even a word? Except for my parents, they were gentile. I got the swearing gene. I love to let loose when it is least expected, if I have been wronged in some way. People say, I look like the last person who'd let fly, but as I say, looks can be deceiving! LOL

OMG, cockroaches! I hate them too. Sydney is the cockroach capital of Australia. I remember living there for the worst year of my life and my little house was invded at night. God dhelp you if you happened to leave a knife on the bench with a smidge of something, maybe Vegemite, on it. If you walked in and flicked the light on, you'd literally hear them all scampering for cover, and a moving sea of ugliness would disappear into every crack or cupboard. I still shudder at the thought of it.

Bobo, I love your dressing down strategies. Bec tells me when I am angry I get "Pointy Eyes!, she'll tell me to give someone my "pointy eyes" if they have upset her! and she is a huge fan of my "Gutter Gums"!

Are you really a fan of Rod Stewart? I have a Rod Stewart story if you are!

Grey and cold here today girls. I am going to do the thrift (op shops) this morning....I'll calll  back later to see if you've been back!

This thread is becoming the morning feature here, a bit like having pen pals, love it, and love your stories....take care....Moira

Gramwe, you crack me up, you really do.  I am so relieved to hear you have indoor plumbing.  Can you imagine the poor soul that stumbles upon your post.. she will be thinking.. what horrible women carrying on about such things on a BC site!  I love that your rose is now a bouquet.. that is hysterical.  Feel free to share your hissing possum stories... I bet they are entertaining.  We have a possum that visits.. I leave him food from time to time (dry cat food), he is so ugly, he is cute.  And hey, if ever there was a time to drink, I'm thinking going through all this crap is as good a time as any.

Now wait one damn minute! You can't elude to having Rod Stewart stories and then go off gallivanting at the thrift shops!  Get back here!

Gutter Gums!!!!! I love that term!!!  I too am a klutz, if there is a crack in the sidewalk I will trip on it, if I have a white shirt on, I will spill on it :)  If there are important documents on my desk, coffee will spill on them.

Ok, the cockroach story made me sick to my stomach.. I will not be visiting Sydney anytime soon.  My brother lived in Tampa for a few years and they have palmetto bugs, which is basically a flying one.  Needless to say, I never visited him.  He sure did enjoy torturing me with those stories.

lol, I sure do hope your nose is ok and you didn't burn it!!

Poor DLLP, that's awful!  But yes, I would laugh over that too!  Hopefully it wasn't upsetting to her!  Joe is only 5 years older than me, but he went gray like in his 30's (No, I did not have anything to do with it) and we've had a couple of those situations which of course makes me feel great haha.  No matter what, I will always be younger than him!!

Heading to bed early, have a great night and a fantastic day!

Houston has those flying roaches. They were called tree roaches because they live outside and come visiting at night. By the time we moved away, I had a 30min ritual at bedtime, looking at every spot where I had ever seen a tree roach. To this day I sleep with the covers up over my ears.

That is hysterical Gramwe, We had possums in our big date palm in Melbourne. Ours are seriously cute things, I couldn't believe it when I saw an Americam Possum on "Billy the Exterminator" they aren't like our little ringtails.

I used to leave food out for ours because they always seemed to have babies on their backs. Our neighbors went nuts because they ate all their tomatoes and herbs, they never touched mine because I looked after them!

Flying tree roaches, Wren, that sounds like a plot for a horror movie. We get some big flying beetle things, but it's not the same a roaches.

I can relate to the early gray hair, I started with a streak that went white in my dark, dark brown hair, that was when I was 18 or 19, it progressed from there, got to the point where I had no idea what color my hair was because I had colored it so long. Finally, I cut it tomboy short and when it all grew out it was almost all white. I haven't colored it since. I am lucky because it is a platinum color, so lots of people ask me if I am a platinum blonde...yeah right! LOL

ldesim, firstly I have to say that I have had three fairly distinct "careers" I worked in the beauty industry for many years, and had my own business doing makeup for weddings and events. I worked for a lot of years in the entertainment business, and in TV and Radio, then there was the Airline.

When I was in my late teens I worked for a band booking agency, and as a personal assistant to  the  manager of one of the country's most successful bands. In those days, when a big band or artist came to Australia, they would have a meet and greet party for them with the press and the management staff. I was fortunate to go to many of these parties, sometimes I had to work, and look after the band, taking them out and showing them around.

That was what happened with Rod Stewart, and his band. I had to take them out for dinner, to Frenchy's a great French restaraunt. It was just Rod, the band, and me. They were very gracious and chatted about life here in Australia, and how touring can get tedious. Rod talked about Soccer, thankfully being a Scot too, I could converse a bit about it.  After dinner I took them to a pool hall. I managed to keep them all together, and got them back to the Hotel without incident. I went to the concerts, and loved it!

    Excellent question Gramwe!

Hmm, Ariom, I love the Rod Stewart story.  Do you know... I am half-Scotch?  My last name is a Scotch name!  There is a naughty word for your previous lifestyle keeping bands out of trouble... it isn't the coarse word you are thinking... but I daren't utter it on the boards!  If you were here, though, I would tease you endlessly and use that word all the time!

I see another job in your future... camisole whisperer... you could be like whippet mom is, except she is implants and you are camis!  BTW, I believe you have the ideal hair -- all white is the best, it is the most punk, and you could be an Eileen Fisher model.  Eileen is my favorite -- it is completely pricey, but I shop the clearance, and she gives coupons and free shipping VERY occasionally, and her clothes never wear out... so... my closet looks like the inside of an Eileen Fisher store!

Did you know they've just started Eileen Fisher consignment stores?  Yikes!  They are called GREEN EILEEN -- there is one in Seattle, and two in NY, and one of my dearest wishes is to go to one.  Except I wouldn't get pants.  I don't want used pants.

Gramwe and Wren, and Ariom -- yuck!  Those bug stories!  It's difficult to do anything about it.  I won't spray.  Trying to keep the baby from having cancer!  I do natural things, which don't work, but I'm pretty assiduously clean, so we don't have too many problems.  Except in the car! Where there are a million crumbs!  Yuck.

Snuck away after my student and... I am working from home!  Hooray!  I will watch Something's Gotta Give and get all my work done in my pjs.

I have to say, in PHL they were overrun with possums, and I fed them too!  Ugly hairy things.  I love them!  Bring on the hissing stories.

Has anyone told me what color my streaks should be?  I don't recall taking down any suggestions.  Idesim said she had an urge for bright orange for herself, which she is just joking about, but I don't believe that was an official suggestion...  speaking of drinking, what do you think about this 'fewer than three drinks per week thing'?  I am not going to make it!

Green Vibrance.  Going on amazon!  XXX

I now reply to myself!  I gave DD a third bracelet of mine... idesim, it is the set of three plain bangles, I don't miss them... and this morning, at Starbucks, you should have seen her favoring the hand with the bracelets!  It was too much.  And she was waving at people, you know, but using her bracelet arm.  I was definitely wishing for you at that moment, idesim!

SO MAD.. I am waiting waiting waiting for something to come over that needs to be ready for an   8:30 meeting.  I'm tired and just want to go home... boo hooo!

Never heard of Eileen Fisher... found her site.. "Easy with and Edge".. sounds like our Bobo :)

Aww.. how adorable is DD? She's going to find reasons to wave and use that arm to make them jingle!! I don't blame her, it is fun!

Wren.. oh gross... I'd be the same, terrorized for life.

So Moira got to dine with Rod Stewart, that's so cool.. tell us of all your other famous people, especially the ones that were snotty jerks!

    Can somebody help Granwe up?

Perhaps Hugh Jackman could help Gramwe up.  I am almost sure he does the 5 Rites.  Isn't that right, Ariom?  He is a well-muscled Aussie.

Idesim, the 'edge' I am definitely working on... the 'easy' I don't know about :)

Sounds like the person who delayed that item for your meeting could use a withering comment -- or perhaps just a French-flavored silence.

Firstly, Gramwe, leave your shoulders on the ground for number 4, just raise your butt. the book tells you that this is the way to do it if you have any problems doing it the other way. Each of the 5 have a fallback exercise.

No, No Bobo, that name you are thinking of, is who I was keeping away from the bands, well, most of the time, anyway Tee Hee!

I have been thinking about the streaks, and because you are so dark, I think the violet and blues wuld look the best. There is a really interesting Teal color around too that could look great.

I love your baby girl, Bobo. I would love to take her out. I could wear my charm bracelet, which is put away because of its propensity for sound! We could air wave together!

Hugh Jackman, I love him. He lived not far from a girlfriend of mine, and we'd see him at the local store. He and his wife adore one another, they couldn't keep their hands off each other. He used to travel with us, and we loved him so much that in the early days, when he traveled in economy, we'd upgrade him 'cause he was so nice! It wasn't long till he was traveling in First Class, but he never changed, he was always lovely.

I sure hope my non disclosure clause is null and void now!

ldesim, I'd love to tell you that there were snotty jerks, but there really weren't. It was the 70's and it was still "Peace, Love, and Muesli Bars" here in Australia. I really never had any bother with any of them.

My 21st was amazing because there were several bands touring at the time, and a friend turned up at my party with Blood Sweat and Tears. Jerry Lacroix was a new member, and was my favourite sax player of all time. Nothing scandalous to report  there, I was already dating my first husband, Bec's Dad, who had just finished in Jesus Christ Superstar. We got married the next year.

Now surely I am not the only one here that has had the odd brush with fame, come on girls, stories please.

I am checking out the Eileen Fisher stores, haven't seen it before.

Well, my lovelies, I am off to get Exercised and Showered, will be back later to see if anyone has been around......Take care M

I actually like the Eileen Fisher store.. and the only brush to fame I've ever had is Steve Tyler from Aerosmith.. I was like 19 working at an airport cafeteria and he got a hamburger and checked out at my register.  He was really nice & polite.  Other than that, the only other brush was Jon Bon Jovi many years ago at a concert... he held my hand and dripped sweat on me.. gross.  Can't think of any others.  I certainly haven't had dinner and hung out with anybody famous :)

I love the sax.. there is this little old guy who plays outside the train station and it always lifts my spirits a bit.

We're in the 90's and it's humid today... usually I love this weather, but when you're used to the 60's and it's jumped overnight, it's not too pleasant :)

    I'll write more later...

I was a month from my 22nd birthday when I got married, looks like we both took the plunge pretty young.  Yes, the american possums sure are ugly but they are harmless enough I think.  If they get scared they will play dead for hours from what I understand.. and emit a horrible smell to keep away predators.

To me the true measure of a "star" is somebody that hasn't changed much

I second violet or teal streaks.  I've never been a fan of the color blue... I love reds and oranges.  Pinks aren't my thing either, but I figured Fuschia was a most obnoxious color to threaten that I'd do my hair in :) What I've always wanted was black hair, like asian or indian.. I covet their hair.  I dyed my hair black years ago, and it was awful lol, course I did it myself which wasn't the smartest move... but it came out a flat black instead of shiny and pretty.

Bobogirl, what on earth is a french flavored silence? Sounds to me like you've given away all the bracelets you went crazy buying :)

Moira, I disagree with you, a flying beatle is like a flying roach, they are big, ugly and they are FLYING.. gross.

I haven't read the drinking thing, but didn't you say previously that you only can manage 1/2 beer? That means you can drink 5 nights a week and be under 3 drinks.  Is beer even considered a drink in this equation?  I would think beer & wine would be exempt and it would more be towards vodka, rum.. etc.

I'm going to watch a couple of episodes of My Kitchen Rules.. I'm almost done with it.. almost 50 episodes in total, I dunno why I love these shows.. love Top Chef too, I am not even that fond of cooking haha.

Thanks for helping to get my butt off the floor. Guess maybe I should buy the book, before ending up stuck in the downward dog or some other pose.

Celebrity encounters are few and for between around here. George Clooney was here filming scenes for the movie Leather Heads a few years ago, everyone in town, except me, attempted encounters with him. Last summer I did have a nice chat with author Pat Conroy, passed along some cooking tips, little did I know that one of his books was a cookbook. Look for a nutty tourist character in his next novel.

Casting a ballot for violet. I think that would look lovely. My DD, Jessica has a thing for dark skinned men, she's as pale as Casper the ghost maybe the reason for the attraction, anyway, she dated an Asian guy for a long time, he had the most beautiful black hair ever, it had a blue tint. Too bad he ended up being a horses tail, they could have made interesting children.

There has never been a nice possum made, those critters don't even like their own mums. My late father in law brought one into our house once in a box, that wasn't the cause of his demise, but he came real close.

Ms.Fashion consultant, could you please hop a plane and be here before dawn my time? We have a funeral to attend tomorrow, my first outing requiring a more formal type of dress and I literally have nothing to wear! Jessica and I shopped for hours today. We discovered that since there was more taken from one side than the other, nothing, other than a t-shirt hangs right. So frustrating! Then there's the dog ears hanging, one much bigger than the other. Frustration!

The OG is snoring, my cue to find a book and read for awhile.

    Hugs

ldesim, you crack me up! You watch these shows and you're not fond of cooking!

I used to have a different color hair every few weeks, God only knows how many chemicals I took in during those days.

I love the color of Asian hair too. When I said Vi was an unusual looking Asian, I wasn't kidding. He had gorgeous dark skin, and his hair was jet black, but in the sun it had deep red highlights. He wore his hair very long, I actually have two very long pony tails that he gave me when he had his hair cut short on two different occasions. He always looked more like Native American, than Asian to me.

The celebrity thing was a bit of fun, the reality is, I just love people. I love to hear their stories.

I was still 21 when I got married for the first time, and had Bec when I was 24. I was the only one in my circle to have a baby. Everyone else was into their careers, so I was the only one for many years with a child.

You're right, I remember getting a flying Christmas Beetle to the forehead, and it wasn't nice, but flying roaches....yuck!!!

Gramwe, I just checked your weather, and the next few days are hot, so an outfit for the funeral would need to  be a cool one. I am so sorry you're having such a hard time getting around the "chest". I know I sound like a broken record, but how about a crisp cotton & elastane shirt with a cami underneath and a fine, say, linen scarf to detract from the chest? Smart skirt or tailored pants would look good. Do you need more formal than this?

Just had a memory of the possums where we used to live. We had a sensor spot light that would go on whn Colin drove into our garage. The possums would come down the tree and wall along the side of the garage, the light would go on and they would stand transfixed, the light woulld go out, they'd start to walk again, trigger it off, stand still. This could go on for ages, they aren't the sharpest tool in the shed!

This morning I had a call from one of Colin's attendants to tell me go outside because there was a pod of dolphins right out front. I ran up and down trying to get photos for Colin. The neighbors are all away at the moment, so there wasn't anyone to see this madwoman flying along the edge with a camera. The last time I did this, I had my foob work its way up, and out, till it was under my chin.

I have discovered little velcro dots. Wren mentioned using Velcro for her swim foobs. I found some dots, and they are perfect for holding a soft foob in place. I just love how women finding simple fixes and options for our daily Foob dilemmas. I am looking at small, stick on magnets too.

It looks like a teenage girl has been trying to get ready for a date, there's a ton of clothes thrown on the bed, at least I haven't had a tantrum, YET! Do they make spanx that start at the chins, and end at the cankles? The shawl idea may just work! Thanks for the help.

Hope you were able to get a picture of the dolphins. They are so amazing to watch.

Off to do the 4 1/2 Rites. Hugs

Good Morning from Wet and Dreary Downunder!

We have had drought conditions for years. It feels like it has caught up overnight. The rain has been bucketing down, and there is no let up this morning. I have the lights on as I sit by the window to see what I am doing. The lake is a grey nothing, as the sky and the water are exactly the same dreary color.

Dexter hates to get his tooties wet so he just had a pee on the patio!

I can't believe how much Rod Stewart I have seen in the past couple of days. He has been popping up on the TV with monotonous regularity, so I too, have been having a chuckle, ldesim.

Gramwe, I know that teenage girls bedroom. I have the spare room covered in clothes, not to decide what to wear, but to get rid of. I gave away a lot at the beginning of this journey, but have decided to get rid of a lot more. I had no clue that I wore so many V necks, and scoop necks that just don't work any more. So ebay for the good stuff, Op shop for the rest. I find ebay seems to be a "Winter Sport" so now is the time to get to it. More Foob money! Ha Ha Just joking!

I just hate that feeling of nothing to wear, and I know what you mean about the Spanx Bodysuit........ I wish!

I didn't get any really good dolphin pics yesterday. You just never know when they will visit, but it is aways a big deal when they do. It is one of the real joys of this big salty lake.

I am off to do my Rites too, 4 1/2 or 5 depends on how my shoulders feel, Gramwe!

I hope everyone is good...I will check back later...Take care! M

Hi everyone, I love all of you, I'm so tired and happily tired, my work week is over, but I had to read quickly thru your posts, you are all naughty, naughty girls. I will spank you later. Unless it involves lifting five to ten pounds. I vote for violet. If a jellyfish stings you, a koala peeing on you will ease the pain, no doubt. Chia seeds is something I am going to try. Are yours white or black, and does it matter which color I get? Ebony and ivory, living together in perfect harmony...... Fare thee well for now, my friends. Time to take a neurontin and cuddle with my doggie. XXOO

Wirdgirl, YOU are naughty!  It doesn't matter if you get white or black chia seeds.  I put a tablespoon into my smoothies in the mornings.  Ooh.  Must make smoothie.

Laughing, granwe, because you got your butt off the floor!  I see you had your wardrobe specialists at the ready -- wren and Ariom!  I vote for something column-like and floaty.  I have these Eileen dresses that would be perfect.  They go nearly to the floor.  And then there is a diaphanous floaty dress you can put over the first one.  I am feeling good about disguising my lopsided chest area these days.  I am about to swear now, so get ready.. F you, dog ears!  F you, stupid endometrial biopsy!

I see my girl gang has voted on my punk stripes as requested... violet it is!  I will have to argue with my hairdresser.  You know how he is.  What will this be.. fourth refusal?  Will have to get the violet so I can keep it up at home.  And gloves.  Wait.  I have gloves from wound-cleaning after surgery.  Everybody wins!

Idesim, Rod Stewart was playing at your treatment -- so funny!  That was just Dex, whispering in your ear that he loves... me!  I will kiss him on the lips.  Speaking of which, Ariom, my baby girl will kiss you on the lips!  She gives terribly long hugs.. sometimes both parties end up on the ground.. so practice lowering yourself to the ground carefully so you do not twist an ankle.  Good thing you are doing those rites!

Today: DD's play -- a homemade Waldorf play about a gardener (!) with homemade costumes, sets, concessions,  and the children made the playbills.  Right after that, my brother's -- it's my nephew's birthday.  My mother will be there from out of town.. even though she is in town, she is not coming to the play. :(  I could wring her neck with my bare hands.  I must make a choccy cake right now to be ready.  I use real cacao, it is antioxidant, and there is a tall fluffy vegan mousse as the frosting.  Chocolate mousse.

Who hear thinks Ariom should write a tell-all rock n' roll memoir?  Raise your hand.

Idesim, a French-flavored silence is produced when someone asks you a direct question, and you don't reply, just as Catherine Deneuve might not reply, because the answer to the Q is not the person's business.  You rarely experience these silences in America.  They are totally effective.

Granwe, sorry about the funeral :(  Hope you got it sorted out.. it is a challenge isn't it? I've been stocking up on shirts with prints that aren't form fitting, and then a matching tank or camisole underneath.. it appears to do the trick and at least the tank/camisole aborbs the sweat lol.  Another good thing that is popular is those infinity scarfs, which is perfect for me as I could never properly drape a real scarf.  Although I don't think the infinity scarves are for dressy attire. The good thing about a funeral is black conceals a lot of things haha.

Oh Moira, the dolphins, I would love to meet a dolphin they are just so adorable!!  My co-worker is planning a trip to FL and one of the excursions she wants to go to is to swim with the dolphins.. they charge like $300.00 per hour for it, but what an experience that would be!

I hope your foob stayed in place this time!!  I haven't had a foob mishap yet.. but I am still early in the foob process.  I did notice if my shirt is even just the slighest bit too low, then during normal movement you might get a peek as one of my co-worker so loudly pointed out.  That's ok though, its not like everybody doesn't know what has gone on.. and I like to joke about it anyways.

The velcro dots sound like a good solution, but will they hold up in laundry?

Wirdgirl, hope you have a nice relaxing weekend... I love the happily tired feeling.  lol on the Koala pee... and gross on the jelly fish.. I remember gong to the beach as a kid and the water had tons of jelly fish.. I was traumatized by that, I think that constitutes child abuse!!

Bobogirl, I saw a girl on the train with dark brown hair and she had violet chunks.. It was very pretty! I was going to ask her about it, but this is Boston and strangers don't talk to each other on public transportation and I would be breaking all sorts of rules! haha.

You have a busy day today, but sounds like so much fun!!! I her play goes off without a hitch.. tell us how she did and how it went!! Sorry about your mom, but from what you have said in the past, it sounds like less aggravation for you, so it may just be for the best.  The cake sounds fantastic, I hate regular frosting and choco mousse sounds like heaven!!

I am going to try the rites as soon as I finish radiation.. I have to make a lot of changes, I need to lose some weight and I just want to get my body (and mind) back to a good place... right now I am must getting through the days and my diet is horrible... it's just grabbing whatever to keep me going and that must change.   My neice is planning a big party for a bunch of our birthdays which are in August and I want to be back to my normal self (whatever that may be at this point!) by that time!  That gives me almost 2 months.. I don't think it's unrealistice to lose at least 10 lbs by then? My worst habit is coffee and I need an intervention for that ;)

Moira, you are not joking about foob money and you know it lol!!  I have a big tote full of clothes for the donation bin.  I've never had such clean closets!! When I say I have nothing to wear, it is somewhat true now.. but boy do I HATE shopping and I'm going to hate it even more now!!  I have like 6 shirts that I feel comfortable in for work, so I just have to find a couple of more for a little variety.

Still have the heat wave here.. we have AC in the bedroom, but where we are next to the water, it's not often that it's too hot in the house, so no AC downstairs.  It's not bad in the house, but the worst for me is my ankle swell up something awful when it is humid.. my primary thinks its varicose veins, but then again she thought my cancer was a skin problem... sooooo.....

I want to hear all about the play Bobogirl!

Bobogirl, bring a large purse to the hairdresser. Something that the violet color bottle will fit in. And please get me a pair of the professional hair cutting scissors.

I just realized, I am now probably shaped like a dolphin. They look amazing just the way they are. Clothing is The Enemy.

My brush with fame, as a teen I saw President Nixon at the mall. Picked the wrong day to leave my glasses at home. Vanity. So I really did not see President Nixon at the mall.

A fallback exercise for each rite. That would be the one for me. I just know it. And what is a DLLP and a DD, please? Dear Life Long Partner? And a Dear Daughter? I know a MIL is a mother in law, but heaven help us if spell check changes that to MILF, eh?
