WW, Bunny is adorable!! So darn cute. We had a big white bunny when I was a kid. He hopped around the fenced in back yard,, didn't come in the house.Ducky: Stella is so cute on the couch with your GD. While she might be "too young" for a brain tumor,,, how many of our ladies here were deemed too young for BC and still got it? Hoping Stella does not have one,, but seems like it would be worth checking out,, although I'm guessing the MRI would cost a ton of money. My dog was supposed to be too young to have Cushing's Disease and yet she has it. Boooo on our pups being sick.
Slow: that litter box comment was too funny.

Glen...........the Vet said to her yesterday............we could do an MRI but I expect it to come back negative............
Guess what......she is in the $$$$$$ with this dogs vet bills.......she has insurance, and has almost used up whatever amount is alloted for Epilepsy..................
I asked her what it cost sofar...........her answer..........Mom, you don't want to know................so it is in the thousands............this has been since Dec 2014......she was just a year old........
An overnight stay at the Vet hospital which is a 24 hour ER Vet..........is $395.00 a night......and they are not robbing her..........cause they told her........."Don't bring her in unless she has "cluster seizures", and when she hit 5, they said "Ok, she has to come in now"..................
Problem being......if her temperature goes too high she can die............and if that happes we may as well have a funeral for 4 people cause it will kill them all ........they adore this dog.
Here she is as a pup.

Awww- I love the name Kismet! And she is very beautiful. And self-satisfied looking, as any self-respecting kitty should be.

is she related to the Hemmingway cats from Key West?

Poor Stella. She is just so adorable. My Ava was saved by a Bulldog rescue group, despite not exactly being a bulldog,, but she has the body of one, so they pulled her out with 28 mins left to live. So I'm really partial to that group for saving her. Bullies are so cute. I hope they can find the right meds to keep the seizures under control.Wow, 7 toes!! Very cool, cat!

Glen......they are in a class of their own
So glad your part Bullie got saved..........

Spookiemom,
Yup, she's a Polydactyl cat, which are known as Hemmingway cats.. She gets into everything with her thumbs and huge paws. Lol..But she is a sweetheart.. She give high fives or seven in her case. Lol

Ducky, I think when I'm gone I'm gonna come back as one of your daughters pets.

Debutante ... Welcome! Your Riley and Xander are really cute. I had a beagle/basset mix with little freckles on his nose like that.I love all the pictures of the puppies, kitties and a rabbit too!
Tank seems to be doing okay. Sometimes he doesn't want to eat though. I wonder if he doesn't like the Blue Buffalo food. He likes their canned food. But the canned food is really expensive ($2.69 a can). Oh well ... just keeping an eye on him.
Hoping our little Stella isn't having more seizures.
hugs
Bren

Yea for Tank!!!!!

With a dog the size of Tank, $2.69 is nothing to sneeze at. Would he eat two cans a day? (Glad he seems a bitbetter. He's kind of this thread's mascot now!)

Glad to hear that Tank is feeling better!! So hard figuring out what is wrong with them at times. I sure wish they could talk.
Cute pic Ducky. Hope Stella is doing better today.
My old guy is acting really weird at night. Originally I thought it was the pain pills they prescribed. I took him off of them for awhile to see if it made any difference. During the day he can barely walk or stand. At night it's like a switch is flipped. He runs around like a nut which isn't good because he can't see too well. He typically ends up banging into something and hurting himself. When he is in that state he doesn't seem to feel it when he runs into something. I tried hooking him up to a leash when he does it, but that doesn't help too much - he's very difficult to control. We see the vet on Saturday - wondering if anyone has ever experienced that with an older pet?? I've never seen anything like it before.

Thanks Bren holding her own...
Today's news......Stella is doing a lot of sleeping probably because of the Meds.........but my daughter Nikki said she did something to her back leg,and is having trouble walking........
This pooch is a walking nightmare.....my poor daugher.......

Bulldogs do have a lot of health problems,,, sad because they are so cute and so sweet.0 -
Oh Ducky - it is so hard to take care of a dog with a chonic illness.. I did that with Tigger too. Now we have Dozer. One thing is the same about kids and dogs - they look so peaceful when they are sleeping, but all bets are off when they are awake. LOL

one of Jack's girlfriends took him to be in a Memorial Day parade.
Sometimes I love him so much it hurts.

He looks like such a sweet boy, Jackbirdie.
He really does look so much like my Baylee when he was young.

Loki (one of my babies) chilling on the deck ... can't get the other two to sit near enough each other to get a decent pic and I don't think a pic of all three together is ever going to happen unless it's a cold day in Hades

That's a fine looking baby you got there Tempy! Thanks for sharing the picture.

I like how Loki's paws are crossed!0
