Woo hoo!! I have a new Zulilly partner!! I avoid that site at all costs now, the others will tell you, I had a terrible Zulilly habit... it was bordering on obsession. I tell you now... don't go there. But... if you do.... buy one thing, so you only have like $5.99 shipping and then you get free shipping for the rest of the day and you can continue shopping at leisure. On Fridays usually, you'll have free shipping for the whole weekend.

Zils, geez you just are having the worst run of luck aren't you. Should I worry that I understood her entire post? lol.

Ndgirl, brrrrrr!! Minus temps are the worst. It is really friggin cold here, but not in the minus.

I've already forgotten everything I read.. oh well.. big waves to everybody.

Ewww, DP, love those boots!! I just bought a pair similar to them but not the high heel. I have some with the high heel but I dont wear them much anymore.. dont go anyplace that warrants the heels. I love love love shoes, boots, flip flops you name it. But my feet dont love the pretty shoes so much after plantar fascititis. Like the purse/tote too, cute. I stay away from Zulilly too because I would have no control.

Oh DP, Zulily! I love to scroll through those things too, no need for me to have them any more, I don't go out to work any more either.

Girls, Barry just arrived with a huge box, yep, more throw pillows, I thought Colin would choke! LOL

I got 2 more cards today too, ndgirl, thank you! and ldesim, thank you, so much too. Then there was a big envelope and I have drawings and a hand written letter from the Princess, Dex says thank you, and I am keeping the chocolate, just for me! Thank you Bobo!

Canada shooting was in Alberta, don't think that's where Andrea was.

She flew into Calgary and then had a 3hr bus ride so I don't think she's anywhere near Edmonton.

I am fine. Thank you so much for thinking of me. I didnt see the news at all today so I missed the story. Very tragic! Looks like a domestic thing. I cant believe that I heard about the shooting on this thread from my friends in other countries. You are so sweet to think of me. You are right Wren, I came down south from Calgary Alberta, and the shootings were three hours north of Calgary.

As per usual the assailant had a long criminal record and was well known to the police. The gun was stolen from a city 14 hours drive away. It is a lot more difficult getting firearms in Canada. But that didnt help this family. Tragic!

Still cant believe you all thought of me..you ladies are the best!

waving to all! Shopping and shootings! Much rather hear about the shopping. Those were beautiful boots. Proud that you resisted. I can't keep track of everything I read but I hope everyone is feeling better and got goid sleep. It was pretty darn cold here yesterday. Charleston has a free tram system to get you around town. Sweet deal. Went out to Fort Sunter yesterday and it was cold on the water!! Poor Florida girl all bundled up except for face. Today we have tour that is partially walking and partially in horse drawn carriage.

charleston has a moon pie store! It was a walk down memory Lane, candy-wise. And right across the street was 3 long train station buildings that have been converted in a marketplace selling all kinds of fun things. image

Glennie, Charleston is on my bucket list. I will have to get all the scoop of what and where. Too bad it is cold there, that sucks. my brother took off for his Texas retreat for the winter and it is chilly and rainy there too. Have fun.

Glad Andrea is ok, but I knew she was not close to the shooting, yes dont hear so much like that in Canada, but still sad any time it happens.

OMG, how could you resist, DP?

Okay, Happy New Year everybody! DP, logged in specifically to say what the FFF happened yesterday? It was supposed to be Perricone day on QVC -- I taped it, but no Perricone for any of the times scheduled! I am on a need-to-know basis. I wanted to know the order of the sample Christmas products -- I have to use them in a certain order.

Have you tried the neuropeptide facial cream? It is great! You know, our Idesim started everyone on an extreme Zulily binge for Marika wear -- she seems unassuming and hardworking, but she really is a cookie-eating shopping maniac! As Sting would say, 'Don't stand too close to her!' (paraphrase) XXX

bobo! Perricone day was sunday. Don't they send you emails? I'm sorry. You can also set alerts on your phone where it sings when your show is coming on. I know. I'm pitiful.

    Been up since 5am cleaning like a mad woman. Had lots if energy this morning and was laying there since 3am thinking if things I need to go out and do but couldn't before 9am for thins to open. So I got up and;

    Vacuumed gmas new area rug

    Swept all the floors

Vacuumed all rugs and bare floors

    Steam cleaned all tile. FINALLY

    Cleaned kitchen

Turned rolling island into a coffee bar

    Rearranged living room furniture

Did laundry including folding which counts as two events at my house. Also did bed clothes

    Reorganized laundry room

I think that is all. So now I just ate breakfast and will take a shower so I can run my errands. Going to be bad and go solo. Shouldn't be too bad.

Tree still up. When I get back I will work on that. Not cleaning these floors until all the glittery things are put away. Better get moving before I crash.

Glennie all that sounds so fun. I hope you are really enjoying yourself and don't her too cold!

Oh my giddy Aunt, DP, I want what you're on! It is just after 8am and Colin "forgot" to organize a later time to get up, with his morning carer. So I crawled into bed after 2am and had to be up at 7.45! Not happy!

Had a lovely night last night, ended up being just the 3 of us till we went out for the fireworks and met up with all our close neighbors. The fireworks were great, with no wind, but the Mozzies were brutal. Some neighbors down the hill had bagpipes, so Bec and I went all "Scottish" for a while! LOL

I hope all of you have a lovely end to 2014 and I am wishing everyone the very best of everything, in the New Year! M x

I thought of you so I put 20 dollars in and decided if I won I would send you the winnings... well guess what? that crazy machine ate the money so fast and no returns!! Wishing you a pain free night and good sleep after all your working you must be beat!! Happy New Year to everyone.

happy anniversary wren. And happy new year to everyone. I have no idea where this burst of energy came from. I can only dream that is is the abraxane working for me. Had some issues with my other eye today which was worrisome. Also back of head also hurting now. Spoke the insurance yesterday and they said decision is still pending. Since the 15th!!! Good gosh. I was wondering glennie if these burst could have to do with the fentanyl? The last big energy boost I had was also the following morning after I applied a 25 patch and took no hydro. Just a thought.

It took me an hour to get ready to leave house. Just like good old days. Lol. Went to Aldi for my $8 they overcharged me in Monday. Did dollar store. Did Big lots. Then bond called cuz he was off early and we met for lunch. Still missing a couple things that were in my list. Later I suppose. After latish lunch we loaded truck with more gma furniture. A nice dining set intended for our upcoming sale. Got 4 rooms arranged into real rooms finally. So now I think all of the big furniture is set. It is so much more homy now. Still MUCH to do and unpack and organize though. Gma had invited us to celebrate there tonight but gpa has come down with something and was down or the count. Plus I can't afford to catch anything. Don't know if I have to make my own black eyed peas and cabbage tomorrow or not. That would be fine with me. Especially considering that I am so stiff right now that I can barely move. That's what I get for sitting still. I'm still feeling strong and energy but think I'll lay off for the rest of the night

Bond is on the other end of the couch snoring. I will wake him in a bit with a fancy cheese tray and apple peach sparking cider. Last two years we have stayed home and made nice appetizer platter because we are boring sober people now. We got a bunch of snazzy cheese at Aldi the other day, so we can carry on that tradition now. Lol. Watching shark tank. I need to set an alarm lest I doze off myself. Tree still up. Tomorrow, maybe.

What is everyone doing tonight? Anyone else boring like us? Do you have your nephews bobo? I'm sure there will be a good story.

Md did you have fun at the casino? Even though it ate your money.? It's a lot more fun when your winning. A lady won a million dollars on a lottery ticket today that was purchased at a convenience store just down the street from my house. I never play though so it's not like she got my ticket. Sure woulda been nice though!

It's funny to think of you celebrating New Years te way we do for July 4th m. Fireworks and mosquitoes. Totally July
