DP, that is genius! Idesim is going to open an Etsy store for Andrea! And the whole 'tins of thins' thing -- you were saying 'tons of things' and we all thought it was porn?! I'm going to pee myself.

Shut it, Bond! Do whatever DP says! Don't be a girl! I don't want him getting on your nerves. He should be like a butler at this point. Tell him to watch some back episodes of Downton Abbey and study up. Every morning I say to DLLP, from bed, 'Downton Abbey me some coffee.'

We just got our marriage license today, then had lunch at a noodle shop, then we went home and I put on my new exotic unmentionables outfit (it has a thong, that's right, you heard me) and we... took a nap, now I have to grade essays. Oh, and I just want to say Lucky! You are so cute! Oh! He is a sweetheart! I bet he smells delicious!

Going to check in on the other thread. XXX

Gma brought all my stuff. Will he doing feet after next pain meds. Then a shower. Yaaay shower. Had her bring all my dr gross. Lol I NEED to moisturize my forehead darn it. Gpa asked I I was moving in. Men, seriously. This is a minimal amount if things I use every day.

Z had great idea on list. We should include an emergency contact.

Mind wandering. Back later. Still starving. Noodle shop. Yum.

OMG, I didn't mean I talk slow, in a derogatory way, just that we have a habit of talking too fast and shortening things down. Shit, I reread that and it sounded awful!

I have a pair I wear for walking the dog.  Too many people in my neighborhood don't scoop the poop,, so if I step in it with Crocs,, really easy to hose off.  I hate getting dog poop in the treads of my sneakers. Very annoying.

If you're thinking about the open toe ballet flat ones, I've heard they're comfortable. But hot. Are you looking for something dressy?

Spookiesmom. I have a pair of Crocs, but I don't wear them much, because they make my feet sweat too much. They are very soft and don't give any support, but lots of people wear them and love them.

Glad you like the flowers, Z would have chosen pretty ones!.

I have so much stuff that I take with me to Hospital, a girl has to have her usual toiletries when she is away from home! M x

Why Bobo? No, not dressy, just for every day. One style has open cut work on the sides, should be good ventilation. Had a pair of clogs, hated them. These styles are cut way low to toes, nothing over instep when feet swell

Hey Spook -- I just think they are hot, and my feet squeak inside them, and they are not supportive, and they wear out easily, developing cracks, and then they are no longer waterproof.

The lack of support is a concern. I do have Birk inserts that may work. Just looking for something different from Birks, not EXTREMLY expensive. You know our scattered showers pop up all the time. Hard on leather. Which you don't wear, I know, but still

I have an old pair of crocs.. I like them for gardening... they do make your feet hot... they are however... "clunky"

Well, I'm glad we have the Tin of Thins or whatever it was solved... DP you should have sat back and let us dwell on it for a couple more days.. who the hell knows what we would have come up with.. I was buying the condom suggestion.

Ava and I have something in common.. I too do that with the peanut butter jar lol.

DP, that shower is going to feel like heaven!! We want toe nail pictures... I'm curious how well you do with the pain meds. I get it... sometimes you just don't have the energy to deal with somebody else's emotions.... you sure as sh!t are dealing with enough as it is.... he needs to find somebody else to unload on... friends or siblings or whatever.

Posting to start dinner.. be back later.

Ava!!!! Silly girl. Even you teasing me with food. I ordered, mostly for bind, a peanut butter and jelly filled cookie pie from hsn the other day. Should arrive today. Can't wait to try that.

Shower was great. Pulled potty seat out of shower. Asked tech cleaning lady person later if she could take it out of bathroom so I have room for IV cart. She said we have no storage here. It's kind of storage. You don't say. Bond put it out in the room next to the other area I should have that's being used as their They moved me to cancer reject land. Harris Tower. Room 716storage. Didn't get to toes today. Gma nor bond could find polish I wanted but bond brought me some old polish. He also put lotion on my feet. He also put on my new fentanyl patches. Maybe that's what's making me so sleepy right now. Seems to be working better than the morphine.

The flowers are even more beautiful than I thought. The lady had turned the plain white side toward me but there are beautiful roses and purple flowers all over and yellow. Thank you so much. Bond brought me some cards too. Thank you z and glennie and Ava. Feet cold. Wonder if gma have me socks. Every time I have ever been in hospital I get slipper socks. More cancer ward descrimination I guess.

For supportive shoes check out Vionic with Orthoheel. They have all different styles. I have two pair and love them. The demo really sells it.

Beautiful flowers. Thank you Z for sending those.

DP any word on how the pancreas is doing? How is communication flowing in the storage ward? Any doctor's in today to update you? I hope you made them sanitize the damn shower after having some old porta potty in it. I'd be asking for flip flops!

Hi DP! **waving** I too noted the polish remover in the foreground!

WTF?! No slipper socks? FFS, no food, no bag of electrolytes, no slipper socks, and you are in a storage closet?! Is Magoo still there? I swear by my patchy and razor-thin vagina I am going to have someone's head on a spear. And that somebody will most likely have been to medical school. I will now watch TNB in your honor!

I reply to myself, as usual.

Look! You can send our DP an email message through the hospital and it will be hand-delivered to her! How fun is that? I just sent her one with a dirty joke in it :)

firing up laptop for some qvc time. I do like the nurses I have now. Especially the night time one. She brought me my steroids and pain meds earlier and an extra blanket. Didn't ask for ugly slipper socks. They probably don't supply the poor rejects here. Like earlier I asked for toiletries. They said no we really don't have hen but I will try to get you some toothpaste and body wash. When I was in neuroICU here, tey brought me this HUGE basket of everything you could think of. Like brimming to the top. What's up with that? Anyhow. I'm not as cranky now so ok calming down.

All I can do is nothing at this point. So I am. I still have quite a bit of pain and swelling. Resting a lot. Felt much better after shower. Dr was less on my nerves today MO supposed to come see me tomorrow night. She sent someone else to check on me today.

So pleased that I just spoke to bobo! And got to hear the real bobo talking in the background and DLLP too. Super fun. Like I said about m, now we must have normal convos later when this shit has passed.

Not sure what this show is on a&e but they are driving a baby near around on a truck and he is just precious.

Totally thought same thing about sanitizing. Especially when my Kuka was in the shower chair. I has to use it because I could not fit it out of te shower. Lol. I made sure to use lots of antinac soap. Night nurse took potty chair out of room for me.

bahahaha....too late she cried, I sent one too! Not a dirty one, just a silly one!

Glad you got a call from Bobo too are we distracting you to the point of putting you to sleep yet? I love the A&E channel, I watch it a lot, what is the show you're watching?

Put sanitizing wipes on the list for Gma, wipe down all that crap in the shower.

So pleased there is a good nurse there now, there had to be one good one. I used to lure them in, with chocolate, sparkly stuff and makeup, when I was in Hospital for an extended stay. LOL Doesn't hurt to leave a tin of toffees, at the Nurses station! Hehe
