Oh good Glennie, I thought I was a bed linen misfit there for a moment. I think I only have 3 as well... set for summer, set for winter and set for in betweens :)

Spookie, the Tim Tams are in the cookie aisle at Targets. They are about $3.49 for a small package.

They only had caramel when I saw them.

Ditto!!! I bet M folds all 100 sets of her sheets into perfect flat, square stacks and they are arranged in the linen closet by color, weight and pattern. Couldn't resist M. :)

Just for you Glennie! You can all laugh all you like, but when you come to stay, you'll appreciate the fresh color coordinated bedding. ldesim, I had to read your assessment to Colin he says "You're Psychic!" you nailed it! bahahaha

Didn't anyone like the dog link? That husky in the fridge was pretty funny!

Those were cute, they are as bad as cats with where they squeeze themselves... that last one... I looked at the pic 4 times and I am still not convinced that is a dog and not a stuffed animal.

Oh that was funny M! She says you will spend the same amount of time looking for a sheet as it does to fold it? The woman is on drugs.. look at how she smiles through the whole video! Smiling folding sheets? Almost as bad as Ideism's smiling after shoveling snow. I gosh darn guarantee you that I could stuff 20 sheets in my closet by the time she does one. Maybe 30. :)

Ideism - you will relate. I just went out at 10 pm at night to shovel the end of the driveway because the snow plow finally went down our street. I looked down the sidewalk and there were at least 5 or 6 people out there talking - shovels in hand.

edited- My sister irons her sheets. You heard me. IRONS her damn sheets.

Spookie, I would only have 1 set if our weather was somewhat consistent, but need a heavy set for winter, light set for summer and mid weight for fall and I really don't give a toss what color they are.. the bed is made during the day and my eyes are closed when I'm in it at night!

will have to look at vid when not on work computer.  Someone tried to teach me how to fold a fitted sheet once, and I failed miserably.

I know that when I come to stay with you M, the house will be lovely and perfect. For those who want to crash at my place,,, I have a great sofa bed! It will not have matching sheets however. But Ava will greet you every morning when you wake up, so I think that is extra points, right?

lmao PRB, you have me cracking up.... even funnier, you actually watched the video? oh man that's hysterical. I'll go one further, I bet I can make my bed with the set of sheets I am avoiding folding, faster than she can fold the damn things.... but I agree.. I can shove probably 20 balls of sheets in my closet in the time it takes her to fold the one. haha.. still laughing.. I think I'm losing it.

I can relate... I hear people outside chattering as I type this, but I still haven't gotten up off the sofa.. honestly not sure if I can.. I think my muscles have all seized lol.

LOL Ideism - I hear ya. My neighbor was out 15 minutes before I went out. I stood in the window hoping he'd see me and think.. oh that poor old lady.. I will clear the end of her driveway out. No such luck. I am exhausted and should go to bed, but am pretty hyped about daughter leaving tomorrow. We never argue, but things got a little tense as I tried to help her pack for her big excursion. I had to walk away a couple of times.

Don't bother M - she's got the ironing board down and is doing the country blue sheets that match the nautical themed guest house we are all staying in. :)

Ideism - you do realize that it is mostly us here tonight? We are just giddy from all our snow shoveling. Watch out, I am so giddy I might break out the video camera and try to fold a sheet.

Sorry about the tension PRB.. it will all be fine, she's going to have a great time and she'll be back before you know it. In the meantime, yes, please make a video of folding sheets, after you've ironed them, of course... I could use a bedtime story :) Yes, you are right, I am hyped after all the stress today.. but I am fading fast... even reaching over for the remote seems to much of a task... I might just lean over and sleep right here. I am laughing over you plastered at your window trying to look all pathetic to get the end of your driveway shoveled. Should have mooned him, might have gotten a response then :)

Who was it that wanted snow?? sgc? I think she needs her head examined. *throws a big boulder sized snowball at sgc*

haha. Glennie... I keep putting my fuzzy throw around me, then tossing it off to sweat, then getting cold.. rinse, repeat. Boy, that's cold for you guys, isn't it?? *pushes Glennie in a snowbank and watches the steam rise*

I think I am going to slither off the sofa and crawl up the stairs... I hope your dd has a fantastic, safe trip PRB.

    Sweet dreams everybody :)

You snow shovellers you!! And now folding and ironing sheets. What is the world coming to??

Just found out we have to drive up to Canada to renew our work visas this month. It is a 7 hour drive according to Google. We will probably go to Niagara Falls. Hoping for clear roads and good temps Valentines day weekend.

I'm awake. D@mn dog having nightmares. Everyone playing musical beds.

Sasafire doesn't respond to doorbells or people coming inside. She goes nuts for r/c helicopters. I'll be safe if aliens come for me.

No videos for me. Saving them for long wait at mo appt on Thursday for checkup. It's at noon. Previously not seen before 2 with this time slot. Hopefully he'll introduce his replacement, he's retiring.

I have one set of sheets, BG has one set. Boy has two. No ironing and barely fold. More like stuff into bottom drawer.

My mother ironed sheets - and towels - and my father's knitted undershirts. Maybe she ironed his boxers too, but I was too virginal to do that. We have 3 sets for winter and same for summer. Sounds like a lot, but one set was a gift from my mother who died in 1984. Guest bed has 1 set winter and 1 set summer. Two sets per season for our bed would be fine, but when you see a set of king sized flannel sheets for $25.00, you buy. We often wash them and put them back on the bed until we're tired of the color.

I felt like I got something accomplished today. I did the shelter voicemail, finished my library book due tomorrow, and took 2 shelter cats to the vet. One weighed 25 lbs. He was surrendered for not using his litter box (for the last year). Never took him to the vet, just banished him to the garage. Poor boy is so sweet, too. He should weigh about 12 lbs, so a long diet in foster care ahead. We've done it with other cats, so it can be done.

In the bag for SGC and Andrea tomorrow. Hope it's not too unpleasant for both of you.

Bahahaha, me, iron sheets, I don't think so! I'll buy new clothes, to avoid ironing the ones I already have!

PRB, Do,do,do do, this is spooky!!!!! I have the pale blue and white nautical duvet set, with the pure white cotton European pillow slips and the white cushions with applique crabs and seashells for the guest room.I kid you not! are you sure you haven't been hiding out in the boat shed, watching me make up that bed? Am I so predictable?????

Z, I think that is the better way for a dog to react, being taken by aliens is far worse, than the delivery man coming to the door. Dex was in the line twice when his bark was handed out. He sounds like 2 big dogs and he shouts at people going past our house that he can see. Barry, get the shout and then is nearly knocked down with Dex's enthusiasm. If the people walking outside were to come to the door, Dex would be all over them and welcoming them, it is the walking past that he objects to.

Goodness Andrea, do you feel up to a 7 hour drive, each way? I worry about that kidney stone. I would love to see Niagra Falls, I saw an amazing pic where the falls were actually frozen, I have never seen anything like it.

ldesim, have a picture in my mind of you doing a cartoon slither off that couch, sleep well!

    Doesn't anyone build snowmen?

Have to dash, accountant coming and we have to sign all our tax stuff, Colin has been snarling at me for days as he prepares the stuff, I offered to help, maybe just not enthusiastically enough......oh joy!

Wren, posting together, poor boy, banished to the garage.

I agree, when there's a sale on good linen, you buy it. I have a particular brand that I love, but would never dream of paying full price for. I stock up at sale time!

My Mother ironed everything, even dishcloths, as I recall, that crap never rubbed off on me, much to her disgust! LOL My Mother was the woman that some of you seem to think I am. She had the perfect house all the time, mine is far from it. I used to bring out something like my nail polish to do my nails watching TV, I would leave the room to get something, come back and my Mother had put everything away. That isn't me! LOL Gotta run...M x

You guys are so funny this morning! Z! Sassafire having nightmares and only barks for helicopters? Good girl! Bobo also got in line twice when the barks were handed out. Z, in the bag for Thursday. Hope you like the new person, if they introduce you.

Oh, I was peeing myself at the account of our Idesim shoveling and fantasizing about adult diapers. And you guys are sending each other clips of sheet folding porn? What is this world coming to?

Just got a new bed in December (a king), and am sheet poor. Two sets of sheets, and really only one blanket that really fits. We are making our Q blankets do. Hard to find K blankets, and I don't really shop at the stores much, but that's what I need to do to get the white sales.

In the bag for our raggedy bunch. DP, how are you feeling? **waving** Andrea, can you stay over when you go to Canada? That's too much driving for one day. I have a feeling you are not slowing down to heal with this kidney blasting thing.

Birdie, I kiss that sweet 25 pound boy. My Edward needs to be on a diet. He has always been a sprawling-body-type guy. He's not sincerely obese like your new boy. But we have three kitties and sometimes he takes more than his share! He is developmentally differently abled. I just love him so much. XXX

Iron? Ummmm, I think I have one of those things. Gathering a LOT of dust in a closet.

On Mon mom would wash. Tues was ironing day. Wed was cleaning day. Thurs was grocery day. Fri was cleaning day again.

Me? Guess I better do that, been a while.

Watched the folding sheet vid just now.  "One of the hardest thing you'll ever have to learn is how to fold a fitted sheet."

No really,, there are much harder things to learn!  Stripping drains for example??? Geeeez.  But now I can fold a fitted sheet,, if I remember next time I'm needing to fold one.

Now to find the dog ones. be back
