Good grief, you have been a chatty lot while I was sleeping.

I was thinking about you DP, before I got out of bed this morning, hoping you were out of the ER, not nursing any serious fall injuries and back home on the new sofa, being fed grapes, by our hero Bond. You could never, ever, be a burden to anyone, you are so important to this group of girls and to everyone who knows you. I know we are all sounding schmucky, but seriously girl, we all love you so much. I don't use the "hate" word much, certainly not as much as I use the Fuck bomb, but these Dicktors deserve to be bitch slapped hard and both those words used liberally! I am constantly in disbelief by the way you have been treated, or spoken to, it just breaks my heart. Did anything ever happen about getting a pain management Doctor? or perhaps someone who really does an overview of everything that's going on with you? It seems to be so fragmented, or is that just my perception? I seriously feel like that bloody Shirley Maclaine character it the movie, about to go all ballistic and humpy back spiderish! Is there anything at all, that this old girl, can do for you? M x

I am the queen of double posting!

SGC so glad your procedure was tolerable.

My blasting went as planned. I asked for and got a strainer this time. Have pain. Hydrocodone not really helping, just making me queasy. Going to try an sleep. Really hoping it works this time.

Sgc, I am so happy that your test wasn't painful! Yay!!! I had a similar experience with my SNB, I was seriously terrified of having that test done. I had 2 women who had it tell me it was the worst experience they had ever had and they went on to try to gross me out with how bad it was by saying they would have 10 natural births before they'd ever do that test again. Holy Shit, I am thinking, I might just expire from this test, surely not...... Well, let me tell you, I did not feel a thing, seriously, I actually asked the tech when the pain would hit me and he told me it was over and all done. Go figure, everyone is different! I have no idea why that happened, but I felt like I was bullet proof after that! LOL

Andrea! So sorry you are having pain. Hydro not working for you? Is there something that will? Dilaudid, maybe? Or maybe just a couple of V? Sending you hugs. XXXOOO

Andrea, can you eat a little something bland, like crackers,,, maybe it will help the queasy stomach. I hope it works this time too.

M: I think you need to get on the power suit and get on Skype, and channel Shirley MacLaine.

Hi DP!!  are you resting?  Hope you are relaxing and watching QVC with dogs snuggled next to you.

Glennie, I love everything about Ava, she sounds so sweet and no barking, is such a bonus! I am surprised that none of you are linen freaks, the US has the most sensational linens, even at your cheapo department stores. I have often returned home after a trip to the US with a huge bag of bedding with everything matching. We have doonas or duvets here, rarely blankets, but I used to love your comforter sets, or Bed in a Bag as they used to call them!

I had forgotten you had to see a Rheumy too Glennie, do you have a lot of trouble with the Fibromyalgia? It's pretty painful too, isn't it?

Going to have my shower and come back...M x

Oooh Andrea, glad that's over, but sorry you have pain. That's likely the sand that Colin had and they gave you your own strainer!! I just thought about that little, young Nurse who was on strainer duty with Colin! I hope you get the pain under control and can have a good rest. M x

LOL@linen freaks. I can't remember the last time I bought sheets. Oh wait.. yes I do! My sister insisted I buy some fleece sheets last year from...wait for it... QVC of course! They are still in their package. I dunno.. I think I am just being defiant because she just insisted I get them, and maybe I love hearing her say "you haven't put them on yet?". I am always cold and she says I will love them... so I don't do as I'm told. I think that is obvious.

M - I read those sentinel node stories too. I insisted on that numbing cream (elma?) and didn't feel a thing. Same thing for my endometrial biopsy. OMG.. the stories out there were horrible, so I demanded a cervical block (or something like that). My primary wouldn't do it, so I asked for a referral to a gyno who would. It was a non-event.

Andrea - would a muscle relaxant help? I have no idea - just grasping at straws here. Hope this is the last time for you.

Sgc - Glad your procedure was not painful. You know.. no procedure should be painful in this day and age. STFU and give us the drugs should be our new motto.

So glad that is over Andrea. Wish you weren't in pain! You can piggy back your pain meds with over the counter pain relievers. Just make sure the over the counter meds aren't in the hydro.

I too fold my sheets. All 20 sets of them! I have twins, queens, California kings and kings! None get ironed, but all are squared away. I love my bed linens and change them with the seasons. I have two down comforters that were my grandmothers! They are marvelous! We have 5 bedrooms here so each room has it's own color scheme. Nothing feels/smells better than line dried bed linens! I also have curtains for different seasons. My mother always had different linens for the seasons and I just thought that was the standard. My drawers were always neat with everything folded and I still keep them like that today. My daughters are slobs, with the elder being the worst! My son keeps everything in it's place with all hangers two fingers apart and all clothes sized and color coded. If you went into his room and turned something on his dresser a quarter of an inch-he would ask who had been in his room! BTW he does all the house cleaning, cooking, and irons his clothes!

Time to get dinner. DH just woke from his nap. Later all, S

I knew there had to be 1, 20sets, now that's impressive! Hey Sgc, Welcome to the Love your linens Club! Just 2 members! hahaha Vi was like your Son, he was so proud of his room, everything was spotless and perfect, Bec on the other hand, hers looked like a crime scene, but she's much better now. Hmmm 2finger width between hangers, I couldn't get a piece of dental floss between my hangers!

PRB, I thought I was in the Twiight Zone, on the one hand I had these women scaring the shit out of me and then I had my surgeon asking me where I had heard these awful stories, that he had NEVER had a patient tell him the SNB tracer was a terrible experience. I was thinking, who's yanking my chain here? The Surgeon's telling me, I can have whatever I want, even writes a note too the tech to say I can have lidocaine. I arrive to get it done on the morning of my Mx and the young tech tells me he isn't allowed to use lidocaine for this procedure, so he gets on the phone to my Surgeon at home, I was mortified when I realized that was where he was calling, so the Surgeon tells the tech he'll be right there, he'll come in early, to the Hospital, to give me the shot. I am shouting "nooooooo, I don't want him to have to do that!" I couldn't believe he was going to come in early, on a day when he was operating all day long just because I was being a bit of a Princesss. But I am thinking "Damn you bitches! I decided to suck it up and go au naturel! Glad I did, because I felt nada!

When I was waiting for the surgery to start, I was chatting to the team and my surgeon walks in and said "I am proud of you! You got an attack of the "Brave", how was it?! I told hm it was a total non event and the whole team laughed. Then the lights went out! LOL

PRB, put the bloody warm sheets on, let your Sister win this one! LOL

    Warning. Whining alert to follow:

I Just experienced the most excrutiating pain!!!! Then peed some fine sand. I am sorry to whine. I didnt complain through 4 labour and deliveries, and my SND and wire placements and endometrial biopsy were Nothing!!! I like to think I am tough. But I am scared to ever go through that again.

I have been so damn cavalier about kidney stone pain because it has always been a level 2 out of ten. This was a ten.

I just took my second hydrocodone. Hoping it helps with the pain. The nurse told me at the hospital that it wouldnt mean zero pain, but it would bring it down to a 4. I would sell my firstborn for a 4.

When I saw surgeon after blasting he told me to drink lots of water then lay with my legs and hips elevated so that the kidney stone can be dislodged easier. ??????

Whining done. Thank you for bearing with me.

Ooooh Andrea, I am so sorry to hear that. I just ran in to tell Colin and we really believe the sweating and the shaking he had must have been from the similar pain that he can't feel but his body registers. He said tot tell you, thank you for posting this it just affirms what he was thinking. He peed quite a lot of sand.

    Now I really have to go...m x

oh, Andrea this sucks!!   Do drink lots of water,, hope it flushes it faster.  Wondering if you can take Pyridium with this issue?  It is urinary tract analgesic,,, it lessens pain when you have a UTI,, wondering if it would work for this.  You can get OTC form called Azo-Standard.  It will make your pee bright orange color!  Maybe hubby can run out to drugstore for it?

YES, you can take Aleve or Ibuprofen.  No Tylenol.   The hydrocodone has tylenol with it.  How many MG is the hydrocodone??

Andrea, You're not a wimp. That pain is excruciating. One of my co-workers passed a stone in the lobby of the building and was out cold from the pain. Fortunately there was a receptionist and she called 911. And this was a health care organization.

Andrea sending good thoughts and hugs to you too, terrible pain for you just makes me so sad.

On the lighter side... Bobo makes me chuckle thinking buffalo are on the endangered list!! you are such a city-slicker, but I love you! There are several buffalo farm/ranches around and yes they are for slaughter. I really dont care for it but it is very lean. Always wondered why if we arent to eat meat, drink milk, wear leather what the heck is a cow good for???

Had my bloods done, lots of vials, I must be lighter from that! I had almost the same Glennie, just Mango instead of Strawberries.Vegansmart, I love that breakfast! That's lots of greens, especially all that Spirulina, that's the best green you can have! Do you feel better for it? I do!

Cityslicker Bobo, haha We have lizards come to visit, I love them, they come right up and peek in the window. Lots of cows around here too, but they are dairy cows, not for eating.
