So fun!  I am living vicariously through your Costco trip, DP!  I wish I could astro-project there right now!  p.s.  Your breakfast sounded delicious!  Very Scandinavian. XX

oh we are all posting at the same time. I always picture ariom in ysl. That and beautiful flowy gowns. We can go formal.  It will be fun. I had my funeral clothes on when I saw the RO this week and he asked me if I was working. Which I thought was funny. I have not been dressing like myself. I have to wash all my wigs tomorrow. Well not all of them. But a couple. I'm outside shedding right now. It's not disturbing me though. Just kind of annoying cuz it makes a mess. At least it will be cooler weather for wig season.

Bobo do you like the meditation classes? I'm trying to get into this happy mind stuff.

I do like the meditation class, DP.  I am just skipping it because I am completely overwhelmed with tasks.  It's just when you could use meditation!  I have yoga class after I teach today, and will get a little meditating in then.

The whole thing is that you just sit up, close your eyes, and monitor your breath as you breathe in and out.  And you try to stay focused on that.  That is the whole thing!  Just not to think for a while.

I have mala beads, and I also meditate with them.  I do a mantra and chant (to myself) for each bead.  Sometimes I switch mantras, but  my main one is 'Om navah shivaya,'  which I believe means 'Om and salutations to that which I am capable of becoming.' XXX

hmmm, you girls are talking about some crazy assed experiences there, they all sound very similar.

DP, you are starting Xeloda, and which other chemo?  In the bag too.

Bobo, what are you strapping to your chest?

My scanxiety levels are creeping up, I have scans on Monday.  Might go and scour the cupboards for chocolate.  Xx

Scans!  Fuck me.  Crap on a chapstick.  We can swear a lot on this thread.  I will be in the bag.  Continuous small treats all weekend for you, as if you were on a treat IV.

Dawny, my sx and infections ruined my area on the right side.  They are trying to 'fix' it.  I have to wear this thing that is said to bring circulation to the area and allows the PS to fill my chest in enough so that I don't see my heart beating on the caved-in right side.  It is not approved by the FDA for this use -- it's sort of an experiment.  Had three sx in December -- BMX and then cleaning out infections.  You could put your whole fist into the right side, all the way to my back.  **wonk-wonk**

I have no idea why I give off the flowing gown and YSL aura. You'd be disappointed! LOL I spend a lot of time in sweats.

I am watching an Eve Pearl show DP and have bought more, I love her makeup! Got a few good buys on Ebay too, some of my fave Dimitri products and Amoena yoga pants and 2 tops for a steal.

I am prowling for something to eat now, after hearing about that breakfast, DP. I should have gone to bed!

I can recommend the Meditation classes, DP. I use it for relaxing and Rheumatoid pain. One of my girlfriends was a working psychic, who also taught Meditation, I did a few courses with her and used tapes to learn more. I used to use it, to put myself to sleep on planes too, when I had to work straight after a flight to the US from Aus. M x

M, I have everything done in Geelong.  Scans at Barwon Medical Imaging, and treatment at St John of God in Geelong also.  I had some treatment in Melb at Peter Mac, whilst on a trial, but it added another 3 hours or so to my day, on top of a big day anyway, it was shitful.

Hahaha Glennie, that's so funny! I have to tell Colin that one, he'll love that. I hope you don't get in trouble at work! Try "Buderim Naked Ginger" I bought some online today.

I was heading to bed, but everyone turned up at the same time! Good to catch us together!

Wren:  the crisps are by The Better Chip. I get them at Fresh Market.  I should try to get to Trader Joe's more often but they are way across town, and have a very crowded parking lot! So I generally end up at Fresh Market.

DP:  in the bag with crisps and queso!!  Chocolates and ice cream?

That's great Dawny, that you can get everything done there. I decided to have my surgery in Sale, obviously not knowing, what my outcome would be, but didn't want to go to Melbourne if I could help it. I love my surgeon and they have all the you beaut equipment up here now too. It has worked out well for me. Just an hour each way, with no traffic.

There are a few of the girls on my BC group who go down to Melbourne for everything even though they have opened a new chemo suite at our local Hospital. It is really tiring for them, 4 hours each way.

I wish we had Costco in Gainesville,, I would so be there!!

Yikes,, those out of mind out of body experiences do not sound like fun at all!!  THose damn steroids do all kinds of wicked things to your brain.  I used to work with kidney transplant patients and they would be on high doses right after the transplant and then taper down. I remember one guy who had such a vivid nightmare he fell out of bed running from a lion. Hurt his back. Thankfully did not hurt the new kidney.

In the bag. Shall I wear my white coat?  Pretend I'm a doctor?  Maybe that will get some attention.

I'm laughing cuz we are all posting at the same time!  I just got up. M and Dawny are going to bed!

Dawny:  in the bag for Monday.. Shall I bring chocolate covered ginger candy?  What is your request?? Naked red headed men?   **tells work, I swear I was only looking for ginger candy!**

DP:  Bond is adorable.  **pushs Bobo out of the way for a kiss**  He has a great smile.

I love all this cross posting,,, I couldn't keep up,, really!!

I will bring Ava, but we have to keep a close eye on the food cuz that girl has an appetite!! She's a rescue and I'm sure she was starved in her former life, cuz food has zero life span around her.  She is a "good eater", and now that she has developed hypo-thyroidism and Cushings' disease,, she wants to eat even more. The Cushings causes an increase in cortisol,, which is like being on steriods,, and she is constantly hungry!!  But she will sit on your foot and give you kisses. When your foot feels heavy during the scan,, don't worry,, it's just Ava sitting on it and protecting you.

And the search for Naked Gingers with the interesting results, reminds me of:

when I was living in NY, there was another discount store like Costco, called BJ's.  The official name is BJ's warehouse club, not that I knew that.  So again,, I'm at work and I want to find the addy of where the place is, so we can go,,,, well,, google BJ's,, and see what turns up!  it is NOT the warehouse club,, I guarantee!!!  I closed that window SO FAST!!!

I really should stop using the work computer for this stuff,, it's just way easier to type on a real keyboard than on my little Ipod touch (size of an Iphone),, and when work gets slow,, I just pop over to this window and see what's up.

Hopefully I can erase the browsing history before I have to turn in the computer!  Let me google how to do that.
