  • Hi all. I have survived 34 years since my stage 3 inflammatory breast cancer diagnosis. Several rounds of chemo, surgery, more rounds of chemo , radioation and then an autologous stem cell transplant amounted to almost two years of therapies given. I lead a normal life now and am thankful everyday that I survived these decades..

It's been 11 years and I just stopped taking Arimidex. For those women who years out, have stopped taking their hormone blockers, did you make any changes to prevent recurrence? I'm thinking I might have to make the tough decision to stop drinking all together. My doctors all told me at diagnosis to not worry about drinking. Not to overdo it obviously, but if I have a tough day and want a glass of wine, enjoy a glass.

    What do you all think?!
