JAnn, I can picture that rose matted in a square-holed mat and framed. Gorgeous!

And yes Mum, your granddaughter looks precious!

Loving all the family pics. Mums, your grand daughter is so adorable.

Lisa, those are really neat flowers.

    Jann, love that orange rose.

Scottie, that sounded like a neat photo shoot with the cute couple.

We are enjoying mild temps at my moms in central Illinois. We celebrated her 91st birthday yesterday.

Too busy for any photography until I get back home. I did stalk some egrets that were migrating through the lake here but they were very skittish and I no chance of any photos as they flew as soon as they saw me. Hope you are all doing well.

Lisa, I've never seen a boat like that. Looks pretty cool. I was able to get a few shots of the migrating egrets at my mom's before coming back home. I guess it is an unusual sight to have them there. This is an area below the dam that is pretty shallow. I didn't have time to set up my long lens but this was my good zoom. I had left my canon zoom at home and regretted that decision.

Thanks for your nice comments. I am excited as my Butterfly Calendar has become a reality. Hopefully I will get set up tomorrow at this gift shop and see how things go as I have been at my mom's for the last eight days and just now getting organized as they just came from the printers. I think I should have ordered more but we'll see. For those of you who have inquired I will get you the link in a PM as soon as my calendars are in the store.

The first and the last are my favorites Nancy. I was bummed that the moon tonight was behind clouds. Nancy that was a Navy boat keeping the harbor safe. The paint was camouflage I think.but boy could it go go go !!!!

Thanks Lisa. When I got back home on Saturday night there was what looked to be a huge gorgeous full moon but it was behind the clouds but it was beautiful.

Nancy, the Egret photos are beautiful. I'm hoping to get some at the Okefenokee this Thanksgiving.

My weekend was amazing helping to photograph nearly 1000 walkers for BC who raised more than $1M for local research, treatments and testing.

Our supermoon was also mostly obscured by clouds.

Nice moon shot. Only you, Lisa could imagine a beautiful photo of fabric! I was just buying some fabric yesterday. I am not a seamstress and I certainly didn't think of taking a picture of them.

Thanks Scottie. I hope the egrets are still here in my town as I haven't had a chance to get out with my camera since getting back home from my mom's. We have had some gorgeous weather here the last couple of days but I have been busy with other things.

    Barbe, how are you doing?

JAnn I heard your area had typhoon like weather recently. Did that affect where you live?

Bandwoman, It wasn't as bad as we thought, we did have some rain and high winds at first, but it's just been rainy lately. I'm in Spokane and it's across the state from the coast where the brunt of it hit. Thanks for asking

Our weather has been on the mid 70's which is unusual for Canada but I now live in Southwestern Ontario which is the same latitude as Barcelona, Northern California and Rome. Nice to get more moderate temperatures. Still have my windows open and fans going.

Lisa that shot of serapes (?) would make a great puzzle! Love it.

Jann, your high wind must have blown our way because it was really windy the first part of the week. We are having an above average temp and some glorious weather at least for a few days. Tomorrow the temps drop quit a bit and more into reality for this time of year. I have had so many apts I haven't really got to take the fall colors yet.

Barbe, sounds like a lot of us are enjoying this unseasonable warm weather. Enjoy it while you can.

Between the rain and being busy... haven't gotten out yet either... The colors are great... just not when you're getting wet

One of the neatest Fall pics I've seen was from inside a car aimed up at the sunroof sprinkled with coloured leaves and rain.
