Elle, love your yard! I've always loved landscaping, trees, shrubs, annuals and perennials. Often my most memorable parts of vacationing away from home are the different flowers and trees along the way. It speaks to me even more now that I deal with the mbc dx. I will share a photo or two of some of my summer yard one of these days soon, too.

Tanya, your family produces some beautiful-and intelligent!-graduates! Wow, what your daughter has been through while continuing her education! Wishing her all the best in her future!

holmes, how old are your grandsons? Just pace yourself and take it a day at a time. You may be exhausted but it will be a good exhausted. We love taking our grandkids to the pool, they jump in a gazillion times and we just float around keeping an eye on them. Rent movies, have some books, playdo, sidewalk chalk, crayons, kids scissors, glue, tape and paper for them to have some quiet times each day. Your hands will be full but you know your daughter is fortunate you're able to help her in a time of great need. Hope all goes well with the preemie, my son was one tho born two month early...my sister had twins three months early and they turned into amazing adults. Congrats on the new grandbaby.

Micmel, well hot damn, girl! You got stable and I am thrilled for you. Bask in the good news! It is nice to head in to sumer with that news!!!

Hi everyone...I made a deal with my onc. If this one came back good. (this time even shrinkage). That he would move me from 6 months scanning, To a year out. Pending no new crazy symptoms or problems. I will ask him for bloodwork and XGeva in 6months. I know it's important! But I am very happy that I got those results. I want Everyone's medicine to work! The thing is, I'm not sure how I'll feel about that much time in between. I guess I will see what he wants to do for sure. I was going to ask for a doseage reduction. I know I can kiss that goodbye. He won't want to fix what isn't broken, I can't say I blame him. Thanks for all the support and for listening to me for the past two weeks. Geeze scan time Is hard on you.....Much love ~M~

Mae~ officially How was your vacation at the beach.?

Grannax~ hope she is safe and having a blast. No where near any ashes. From this volcano. Scary!

Hi everyone. I just got back from a wonderful lunch with Lynne and Mary Jane. I enjoyed seeing both of them and talking freely about MBC and many other things. I will write more later, but I wanted to post this picture before I forget.

    Hugs and prayers from, Lynne

Here we are, Lynne, me (hogging all the space), and Mary Jane. Lynne and Mary Jane are two terrific, interesting women, and I am so glad I have been able to spend time with them. We plan to do it again.

MicMel, great news! Stable! Whaoo!! I love to hear good results from everybody. Now it's time, my friend, to celebrate, drink and eat what y see, and scans next year, right, that was the deal? If y feel nervous for so long time you always can ask him to do it earlier. But ones you started healing, will be ok for a very long time. I wish you a lot more scans like this in the future.

Holmes, hope Wendsday you'll have officially your good results. You're going to be tired definitely, but the positive energy from the kids will recharge your batteries fast. Congratulations for your new grand baby!

Tanya, so much happiness comes from your pictures. God blessed you with good kids and wanderful grandkids. This is the reason for our fight.

Elle, your yard is so pretty. I imagine you in the morning drinking coffee or tea and looking at this beauty or evening outside with friends.

Devine, my favorite part from the wedding was "Stand by me" too, so powerful and surprising and of course the speech about LOVE.

Lynne, you ladies look terrific!, Happy, happy! I wish I could join you! Honestly I want so much to meet all of you! If I get vacantion from my precious grand baby I could jump in the plane... or somebody that is close to Columbus would not require a plane, but only a car! I like to dream.

    Hugs from. Elena

That is so wonderful!!!! I love the pic of you ladies. Hello beautiful ladies... I am so officially jealous. But thrilled to see those smiles on your faces. Nothing like being with people who understand, not just listen and really do not get it. I am so thrilled you all got to have lunch together. I think that is very cool. Thank you very much for sharing. Much love to you all ~M~

    Fun looking get together ladies!

So, got scan results a day early, as I received a call telling me to skip H&P treatment today and go to my MO’s office instead. It was a bit alarming but I decided to reserve judgment until I read the results myself. Brain MRI is stable with lesions decreasing slightly in size, which is normal as the best results aren’t seen until about 3 months post gamma knife. The CT body was also stable, nothing new, nothing suspicious (yay!!!) However, my echo revealed a decreased ejection fraction rate, this happens to some HER2+ people due to Herceptin, which is why my treatment was cancelled. So, off to an unplanned cardiology appt, I go. After he reviewed all echo results for the last year 1/2, he determined that there has been no steady decline and that the fluctuations are attributed to technician interpretations and a 5% +/- computer error rate. So, everything is good including my heart and treatment is back on. Tonight, I celebrate.

Holmes, it sounds like there was very good news about your scans. The pleural effusion is gone. YIPPEE! I hope the rest of the report is just as good. Ronald MacDonald House is a godsend for many families while their children are hospitalized. Your grandson is very young and will feel more secure to be there near his mom. I neglected to congratulate you earlier., and I apologize for the oversight. So, CONGRATULATIONS for the birth of your new grandson. YAY! What is his name? When you be able to see him? How are you holding up? My prayers continue.

Mae, I am doing the happy dance for you and all your fantastic news. That heart scare made me gasp until I read the final results. WOOHOO!

Elena, If you ever get out this way, let me know. We will plan a get-together with you. That goes for everyone else, too.

Mary Jane, Good luck with tomorrow's Y-90 mapping. It sounds like you will be in good hands.

Does anyone know when Grannax will be returning from Hawaii?

    Have a good night everyone.

    Hugs and prayers from, Lynne

Mae~Geeze way to give you a heart attack even if nothing was wrong with it. I am so happy to hear that it's all ok! Stable is what we want. So that's just awesome...but I don't like unnecessary testing, we go through enough already.. testing brings stress immediately to me. So I can imagine. Geeze But at least you know now your ticker is up and working fine.

So happy about the lunch. You're all wonderful ladies.

Grandson wow! Can't even imagine. Soo special.

I am worn out from worry going to bed tonight early. Love to all. And. Those with scans. And mapping Check your pocket. You'll be overloaded.

    Much love ~M~

Divine- my grandsons are 1. And 8 but my granddaughters live with us and they are 3 and 1. Very busy house! Plus I run a daycare. I guess you can say I love kids. Lynn you're right the little one will love being with mom and dad. It sounds like they won't be able to keep him for another week. He did get to face time dad last night.

I connected with a sister here on another thread and found out that we live near each other. We met at a unite for her function, this is a local organization that helps women with breast cancer. We were fast friends! We keep in touch now and it is wonderful to be able to hang out with people who know exactly what you are going through!

imageMother’s Day in Aulani. Forrest (other grandmother), Rosanne DIL, Blake GS, MM, Aubrie GD, me and Ty DS.

We had the most fabulous mother’s day brunch. The days flew by. We made the most of every minute. Focused on doing and seeing all things Oahu. Of course the beach, almost every day, day trip to rain forest, north shore, Pearl Harbor. We learned how to make leis and to hula. I learned what I am no longer able to do, like running through the waves at the beach. The undertow got me and threw me down, then I could not get up. We may send a video of me being rolled through the waves to Funniest Home Videos, seriously. We took a boat out to see the dolphins, thee kids climbed Diamond Head, touched sea turtles.

I will post more but I’m having trouble posting more than one at a time. I had so much fun even though I learned, the hard way, about several limitations, most a result of the MBC and TX. I said “cancer sucks” many times. But I said “Cancer you won’t win” and found other ways to still be involved in every outing.

Loved my week with my grandchildren. Best vacation ever. My heart is full.

Mae!!! Great news!!! That’s definitely worth a celebration!!! Woohoo!!!

Holmes, you are really busy! Gosh I love my grandkids but they do wear me out!

Grannax!!! Oh wow!!! You look wonderful and your grandkids are gorgeous!!! What a great time you must be having, even with the darned undertow! Be safe and enjoy every second, I know you will even without any suggestions from us!😊

Micmel, big hugs! Glad you got a good nights sleep!

OH Grannax, Aloha. Your words and picture touched my heart. I have tears of joy in my eyes thinking about the wonderful experience you shared with your family. It is true that many of us have limitations from MBC, but it is exciting to hear about the things you were able to do. The memories you and your family took away from that trip will replay in all your minds over and over again. I am so glad that you were able to go on that trip and that you had the best vacation ever. I cannot control myself, I am doing the happy dance that I usually reserve for good scans. Even my iPad has lost control and decide to print the word happy 3 times in spite of the fact that I typed it only once. I guess I am doing the happy happy happy dance for you. Mahalo for brightening my day.

    Hugs and prayers from, Lynne

imageThanks ladies. 50’s love your words and the happy happy happy dance.

This one is taken on the boat out to see the dolphins. They served a bbq grilled to perfection while we were up top watching dolphins. They were so pretty, turning flips and playing the whole time we were out. We saw flying fish, too. Amazing little creatures.

Did you know that whole family’s of chickens run loose everywhere on the island? But, they don’t seem to be wild. On the north shore they go “home” to roost. But in Honolulu no one owns them! They get plenty of food from tourists. Ha

In the rain forest, jungle, a movie was being filmed. It’s called “ Mules” for Netflicks. I don’t know what it is about, so I cannot recommend it yet. About 20 movies have been filmed there. Joe and the Volcano, Jumanji lots more.

My boys did their handstand pic, this time with an epic background. I’ll try to send it.

Great photos Grannax. I know what it's like to get caught in the waves too!! I would imagine that a movie called Mules is about drug smugglers!

Good to hear of positive results. Micmel, glad you are feeling better. All good with me, enjoying the sunshine before our trip to Ireland next week. I have been popping in over the last week as we are still entertaining guests here.

Sending love to everyone. I think of you all x

Having a rough day, my DD is really testing my patience. I don't know how we are going to get through this even liking each other. Honestly. 😞💔. She is so selfish. It shocks me sometimes.

Waving hello to Lynnwood, sending hugs and love to both you and Gracie !

Waving to Mae as well. Hello Divine!! Hello Holmes. I have been out three days in a row. 😮 somebody stop me! Tomorrow is my hair coloring. You know I don’t really like having my hair done at all. Ever since chemo.

    Hey gals-

Congratulations to Mae ,Holmes, and Micmel on great scan news! Hallelujah! Micmel, sounds as though you are feeling a bit more like a human! Yay!

Grannax- how perfect that your Hawaii vacation has meant so much to you and your family! It looks idyllic!

Tanya-this is your year for graduations! What a gorgeous family!

I had the absolute pleasure of having lunch with the two Lynnes yesterday. Such a nice time with two amazing women traveling this MBC journey with strength and grace. We talked openly and also had some laughs. Such a gift. On my way home,I did treat myself to a little retail therapy in Kittery, Maine, where there are outlets. Two tops for me and loads of OshKosh bargains for the grandkids!

I had my Y90 mapping today and it went super well. So many professionals tending to my every need. I was able to have the catheter put in through one of the arteries in my wrist. Other than being sleepy from the happy meds, I feel no side effects whatsoever. Not sure what the next few days will bring.

I am gutted at the loss of Kaylynne and Kayborg. No words. Unable to get my head around it. Be with angels, my sweet MBC sisters.

Sweet dreams all, have a peaceful night. Love, Mary Jane

My MO office call today to tell me that my results are considered stable, even the one trouble spot. I'll take it as a good news and hope the next one will be better.

    Good night my MBC sisters
