JFL, I was wandering too, but there was a comment on TV , because the ladies were part of Harry,s life at one point, they had to invite them. If they were jealous, too bad for them, they don't deserve him. I am so happy for Harry and Megan!!

I read that some of his old girlfriends did not want to take on the obligations that marrying into the Royal Family brings. A woman would really have to weigh that in to the relationship. It seems Meghan is almost tailor made for Harry in that she is accustomed in some ways to the glaring spotlight and dealing with the public due to her acting career.

Megan seems like she was born to be in the royal family. She was actually allowed to attend more family affairs sooner than kate was. I loved the moment Harry lifted the veil.so much love. They were even a little giddy😊

I am in the middle of watching it. I already have six tissues. She's adorable. beautiful and that Head piece, just gorgeous, her dress was lovely for sure, understated elegance and classy for sure. And so confident! I love it. Harry was getting emotional and I lost it. All I can think of ishis little hanging head walking behind the carriage of his mother Diana. I have always loved Diana, so naturally I would love both those boys, and watching them grow! Harry is just so adorably loving with her. Can't wait too see the carriage, not to mention that it was thee most beautiful weather possible to have for them. It has to be sent from Diana. It just had to be. Much love ~M~
Hope everyone is doing good today.

Hi all!
Been out mulching gardens all day. I pretty much dug up my entire back yard for gardens never dreaming I'd get sick and have a hard time taking care of them. Last summer I couldn't do a thing so they are a mess... but this year, look out!! With the help of my DH I am whipping them back in to shape...slowly but surely. If only I cared about cleaning my house this much... 😀😀😀
LOVED the wedding. I thought it was perfect. Traditional, yet modern...British and American... so many touching/emotional moments. I have always loved Harry... from the little one that stuck his tongue out to the caring man he has become. Just a joyful day.

Elle~that’s amazing. You go girl...my garden is horrible, my house is good, but garden awful. Lol
The carriage ride gave me goose bumps. Every single woman in the world is so very envious of her today. It’s just a fairytale of hers that came true. Imagine the majesty and the regal surreal feeling she must have had. What a strong young woman. I would have been jello and crying on the floor. She is really amazing. What a wonderful feeling they must have all day and during the ride, I can’t even express my favorite moment it was all really special. The world needs more of that. The world needs more tolerance, patience and yes love. Without it what is the point ?
Much love ~M~

Micmel... I'll come do your gardens if you come do my house!! lol

It's a deal! Elle! Lol
I have to say today was a really wonderful event, it really made an impression on me. It was just so obvious that they were in love. Doesn't it suck that we all can experience that once in our lifetime.? I thought it was really magnificent as was Kate. But there was just something about Meghan's wedding that had A different feeling to it. More of a natural deep love that was clearly evident in they way they looked at each other and their body language. It's obvious to me this wedding is for real love. I am a sucker for a good love story. Thusthe name of the thread. Love really is what makes me fight everything. Everyday! Much love ~M~

It's wonderful that we have these two different love stories in the Royal Family. Prince William has much more upon his shoulders (than Harry) and Kate seems the perfect mate for him. She is classy and beautiful and her personality has been shaped by being British. One reason Meghan captures the global public's attention is she has the American chutzpa, so to speak, which shapes her approach to life. Meghan and Kate are the same age, 36, and hard to believe that is how young Diana was when she died. I know her sons see the vibrancy of their wives at age 36 and it is brought home even more now how their mother's life was cut short when she had so much more ahead of her. Yet the boys possess many gifts of insight which she bestowed upon them to learn from as they move through life.
One of my favorite parts of the ceremony was The Kingdom Choir singing Stand By Me. Oh, it was exquisite.

Good morning all, checking in. Friday’s scan went fine, no results until Tuesday. The echocardiogram was a pain in the ass though, as I had to have an IV placed for the contrast and the nurse nearly blew out a vein by plunging too fast, it was painful, left a large bruise and really pissed me off. Then I heard him warn the echo tech outside and that he made me cry, he wasn’t boasting but he didn’t sound very remorseful either. Then, after a long and trying day, I went to the apple store, (which looks and feels more like a daycare these days) to fix some crashing apps and get a new battery, only to find that despite having an appointment, it takes 2 hours to swap out the battery, seriously?!
I didn’t watch the wedding, not my thing, but I’m happy you all enjoyed it 🙂
Today is cleaning, swimming at the gym and Sunday dinner with friends. I hope you’re all having a good weekend.

Divine~ I saved the wedding On my DVR, I want my daughter to watch some of it. Since she's getting married. I honestly loved it. Most beautiful wedding I've ever seen!🌷🌷🌷🌷💜 🎩 👰🤵👸🤴🏼!!
Mae~ I'm waiting on my results also. Sounds like you do better with this stuff than me. Butnit makes me really mad about the IV stuff, I have had someone hit a nerve in my arm and it was painful for months. So I can understand why you would be annoyed. Give me the needle and I'll poke around on you mister technician person sir!! Jab jab! Have a great dinner as you always do! Ok where has Tanya been?
Just relaxing today! Much love ~M~

So happy... we got so much done this weekend (first pic). Probably 1/3 of the way done with the gardens, but the more I do the better I feel. Second pic is just a picture of my weigela bush I love... still a jungle around it.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!

Elle, Your yard looks beautiful. Your hard work produced wonderful results. It appears that your spring is a few weeks ahead of ours up here in NH. The weigela bush is tall an full. How long has it been growing?
Hugs and prayers from, Lynne

Thank you, Lynne! You'd laugh if you would have seen it years ago. I dug up all these gardens and had tiny little bushes everywhere... I used to stare at it all and wonder what I'd done!
That bush has to be a good 10 years old. I have a few others....a hot pink reblooming and a variegated. I love them and so do the hummingbirds. I'm something of a crazy bird lady too... lol.

Elle~ That is some Yard! WOW! That looks awesome. I got crazy this winter and cleaned my basement. Alone. I put out like 36 bags of trash. It seemed like the more that was done, the happier I was. Everything is now decluttered. Am glad, makes moving in the future easier! I really think you did a beautiful job! Looks like a nice day! Finally clouds are lifting here. Waving hi to Lynne (50's). Much love ~M~

Elle your gardens are beautiful!! I was going to do some planting this weekend but after 15 days of rain it was still too wet. Plus I have taken my two grandsons in because their mother had their baby brother three months too early so they sent her and the baby three hours away. The baby may be in the nicu for three months. I am feeling a little overwhelmed thinking about have two young kids for three months and not knowing how I'm going to feel

Holmes~wow, I can imagine you would feel overwhelmed with such a prospect of taking care of children. I am speechless that your daughter had the baby three months early, that in itself is frightening. I am sending out thoughts of strength and holding your hand. If only we all lived closer, we could all help one another. Big hugs ! ~M~

Oh my goodness, Holmes, First of all, let me assure you that your tiny new grandson will be in my prayers. How is everyone doing? I know what a traumatic event it is to have a child born so early. NICU staff is full of caring, highly skilled, highly motivated people who know how to treat each child that enters the unit. It is still difficult for the parents to see their precious child experience the inevitable ups and downs during treatments and recovery. How old are your grandchildren who are staying with you? Is there anyone who can help you? Three months is a long time. Are they in school? Do they attend camp in the summer? Maybe their friends' parents' will be willing to have them over for occasional play dates or sleepovers depending on their ages. Is there anyone who can help with meals, like your daughter or son's neighbors? I was hospitalized a distance from home for a couple of months when I was pregnant years ago. Within 24 hours, without even being asked, my neighbors had organized a plan to provide dinners for my DH and children (14 people cooked for them while I was hospitalized), and several people volunteered to watch my two year old during the day. One of my friends had started rallying people at church to provide meals, but it was unneccessary because of the generosity of my wondeful neighbors. I mention this to you only because there is sometimes help out there - friends, neighbors, church, etc. I wish I lived closer to you because I would try to help out. What you are doing is an amazing gift to your grandchildren, but recognize the signs if you begin to overdo it, and ask for help. (((Hugs)))
Hugs and prayers from, Lynne

Oh my gosh... Holmes! Overwhelming doesn't begin to describe it, I'm sure. I hope your daughter and grandson are doing well. It's all so scary. And having little ones with everything else going on. Yes, overwhelming. Lynne has some great suggestions...know that we're all thinking of you and keep us posted.
Micmel, I am so impressed you cleaned out your basement... and by yourself! I'm telling you... we could work out a good deal... lol. I think you're on the other side of PA from me... not sure why I think that unless I read it or made it up which is highly possible. You seem to get the weather I have a day later...and if I did make it up that makes no sense at all...
Thanks for the compliments on my gardens...it so soothes my soul to work outside amongst the dirt and flowers.
Have a great night everyone.

Good morning all,
I didn't watch the wedding but heard all about it everywhere. I'm glad you all enjoyed and cried for happiness for the couple.
I left for Buffalo, NY for my daughters graduation, master's in psychology. She is the daughter who recently got divorced and abandoned by x with 5 kids so we definitely were celebrating. All of her five children were present, her new husband and her x-in laws.
The weather was chilly to me, especially compared to FL but not terrible. It rained often but the results, lush greenery and flowers everywhere gorgeous. I do miss the springs in the north.

Stable!!!results back! Long weekend waiting for them. I have to say I hate that part. I can't imagine being stable and feeling this tired. No changes... no new lesions, and some have shrunk! I see onc Thursday. So I can breathe for a little while longer again. Lady Ibrance has her way with me, but keeps me Trucking along. I am so thankful to have this medicine. To take. Love all you ladies. Thanks for the support. It means everything to me.. Much love ~M~
Tanya~ loving the pictures of your smiling beautiful family. Congrats once again. A lot of smartie pants young ones in your family. Looks like a lovely time together! So glad all is well with you. Love the smiles ! Good looking bunch! I was thinking about you!!

Tanya, I always enjoy seeing your pictures. They are filled with beautiful smiling faces. Your daughter has been through a difficult time when her first husband left, but she has show her strength and courage and rebuilt her life. You have raised a strong, independent woman. Congratulations to you and your daughter. I am glad you were in Buffalo in May and not in January. Brrrrrr!
Micmel, WOOHOO for stable scans. That is wonderful news, and I am sure you were relieved and overjoyed to hear it. Now you can relax (until the next scans, hahaha).
Holmes, How are you holding up this morning? I continue to pray. You are in my thoughts.
Bigbhome, I haven't seen any updates on your husband lately. Is he doing well? What about you? You will be seeing your MO to discuss the possibility of changing treatments next month, right?
Mae, What was on the menu last night?
Have a good day everyone.
Hugs and prayers from, Lynne

Micmel-Congrats!!!
Holmes-My sister had her triplets 3 months early (27 weeks). They were 2lbs a piece at birth. They were in the NICU at Brigham and Women's in Boston (an hour and a half from here), where she delivered them. They were there for 2 months. The last month, they were sent to a local hospital's NICU. They came home one at a time, a week or two apart. They all needed laser surgery, on their eyes, and one of her daughter's needed surgery on an artery going to her heart while they were in Boston. They are now 21. One daughter wears a hearing aid. The other daughter has a lazy eye and is the only one still wearing glasses. The son has Asperger's. He was 5th in his high school class, and is 6' 4" tall! They all graduated on time. The girls are in college (her son chose not too, too bad, he's so smart). They all are doing well. I agree with Lynne, find some help. My older daughter was also in the NICU at Children's in Boston, 3 days after being born here (10 days overdue). She had a heart murmur and was not improving. I only held her once before she went to Boston. She ended up having her first heart surgery at 5 days old. I didn't get to hold her again for another week. So hard. I was the one that stayed with her in Boston. Her brother is only 16 months older than her, and luckily, I had 2 sister-in-laws, that were stay at home Moms who took care of him, every time she had to stay over. Our neighbor, also did too. So my husband could work. It's scary. I will be praying for you and your family! Big Hugs!
Tanya-Congrats on your daughter's graduation! What an accomplishment!
Elle-Beautiful garden!
Lynne-I'll see you in a half hour to go to lunch!
MJH-See you in about an hour!
I'd better get off and draw in my eyebrows and find something for my bald head for Lynne, MJH, and my lunch date! Beautiful day here, in the 80s. Nice day to go to the seacoast!
Have a wonderful day everyone! Hugs!!
Lynne

I want to thank everyone for your prayers. This weekend was a little overwhelming but it has calmed down a little. The youngest grandson (1 1/2 years old) is having a hard time being away from mom and dad. They were able to get a room at the Ronald McDonald house so they will actually be taking him down there in the next week or so. The oldest grandson ( 8years old) is not bad at all; he loves to play my other son's x-box and math games on my laptop. My scans were posted this morning and they seem positive but I will have to wait until Wednesday to hear it from him. My scans are a little hard to read because it was a different doctor (kaiser) that performed the initial PET and CT scan. It did read that my plueral effusion is gone which is of great relief. I will let everyone know more Wednesday. I have only been on Ibrance/ falsodex for 3 months and I remember everyone saying that it takes 6-12 months to see a remarkable difference.
Micmel- Stable!!! That is awesome!!!!!
