Hey y'all! A big thank you to those who always remember to say hi to me and Leslie in their posts. You guys are wonderful people!

Today I wanted to share a picture of our little (although he is growing up so fast) Gabriel dressed up.like a pirate. It's what in Catholic terms we call Carnival here or Mardi Gras for y'all hehe this is right before the parade around town took place image

Marian~You go girl! I love thatthe day was sunny for you guys and way to complete a 5k. I'd probably be crawling. It makes me sad. I used to run like the wind. Enjoyed it so much. How wonderful it will be if you meet sweet Minnie! What an awesome thought that we could all do at some point. The support we all share is so important! Sometimes words are all we have, but that extra meeting would make it so very special. I hope it works out for you

Daniel~ Give our love to sweet Leslie. I hope she's feeling better everyday! Now on to the cuteness! Gabriel is so in the part... I'm glad I don't own a ship. Lol what a precious photo and memory. He is very sweet like his parents. You never have to thank us for remembering part of our family ! It's just the way it is! Hugs to Leslie! High five to Gabriel!! Looks like he's ready to roll!! Have a blast and all be safe !

Marian and Daniel, thanks for the photos! Hurray for the 5K, Marian. That is wonderful.

Daniel, the little pirate is fierce :-) I'd be handing over all the treasure if he had me at sword point.

It is with great sadness that I report that Lynne (Man) passed away on March 4 at home with her family by her side. I have no words.

I will never forget her beautiful smile, or her love, joy, and zest for life. Rest In Peace, our sweet friend.

Hugs and prayers to all of you from, Lynne

Here are parts of Lynne's obituary. I have removed references to personal information such as last name, etc.

Lynne , 57, of Manchester NH, passed away on March 4th, 2019 in her home with family by her side after a long battle with Cancer. She leaves behind her loving husband of 35 years and a large family that will miss her dearly.

her greatest passion in life was raising her 4 children.

There was never an unfamiliar face to Lynne, and she had a talent for remembering the small details of the lives of everyone she knew. A caretaker at heart, Lynne was known to always look out for the wellbeing of those she loved, and even more so loved learning about those she cared for in the process. She loved spending time with her friends and family by Newfound Lake, drinking wine with her close friends, going on 'Mini-Runs' with her fellow Mini Cooper enthusiasts, warm tropical vacations with family, and most of all being surrounded by close friends and family. She will be remembered for her kind spirit and big heart, and will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.

Lynne has joined her father John and her beautiful daughter Christiana in heaven.

    Hello All...

Have not been posting much but read your posts often.

While I did not really get to know Lynne, it saddens me greatly to lose another one of our sisterhood.

The emotional roller coaster of the last 2 pages.

Micmel I got misty eyed at how beautiful your daughter looked. The lace on the dress looks very beautiful.

    Marian wow way to go.

Now tears of sadness for Lynn(Man). I feel like she was just around with an update on a recent scan. What happened...how is it so quick. Another blow. I hope her family is hanging in there and doing ok. Rest is peace sweet sister Lynn. Damn cancer just taking people away left and right.

I am posting this for our sweet precious Lynne(Man)... no matter how high she may have to climb she climbed. She did the impossible for so long and was strong as an ox while doing it. This is the fog above climbing so high you loose vision and just become. May she feel no more pain, may she soar above with her beautiful daughter Christina and her Father. I also will never forget her road trips. Her smiles. Family gatherings. She deserves peace and so does her family. I honestly hope somehow, they are making it through, I hope they somehow know how loved she is here and part of our family.... climb high and see all there is to see. Sweet sister. We love you.

still reeling.....still can't find all the words that I want to say. 💔

Tanya~ I wanted Parry to see the dress on my daughter so she could see that it is possible, and that they could put their own twist on something so filled with history... but thanks again for saying they are nice.

Mae~ hope your weekend was a restful one. Can't wait for pics of the tattoos. ! Very significant history as well again!!

Lynne(50's) you Should Be the one who asks Cecilia to unfortunately add her. You were the closest. You and MJH! I can't believe it. Again, in my heart I knew I was worried and afraid to hear bad news. I'm worried about Sheila Marie as well.. love to all!

image.....I am putting this picture up for our sister lynne(Man). She loved hard. And happily. Gave of herself. “She believed she could “. Oh yes she did. And she did it with such gusto. This pumpkin was made for me by my PS’s young nurse during the time I was making my Bra for the fundraiser.... she encouraged and Gave ideas to me and always....supported us all.. This is our home. Here and she was part of the family... always will we love her. Loosing her is seriously a heavy blow to us. Literally another sister is gone. Please stop taking my surrogate family. PLEASE!!!!!! Keetmom same thing.

So very sad to read of Lynne (Man)'s death. I know her heart had to be broken and this damn disease never lets up. I hope her family can heal from these blows. That's my prayer. She is free from the pain.

Thank you Lynne 50's, for letting us know. I know it had to be very hard for you.

grifffff~It is certainly a devastating blow to our little family here. Not even thinking about her sweet precious family and what they are going through. My heart is so heavy. My mind is frightened, for our future. This is so hard loosing the way we are forced to.

I just received a call that my grandmother of 94 has passed away as well. It goes on and on and on. But. 94. That is some life to have lived. I would be more than happy with that. I’ll even go as far as to say I’ll even take 74. She died from plain old age. The way it should be for people....

    hugs to everyone.

Gracie~ you ok ? Missing you

Sorry to hear of Lynne's passing, especially to all who knew her here. I haven't been here long enough to know her but I feel the sadness and grief from your words about her.

Illimae, your outrage/ tribute hit the nail on the head.

I first felt that when I was teaching a couple years ago (4th grade) and one of my students lost his mom to MBC at the end of the school year. I first got to know her in happier times and was looking forward to getting to know her younger son since I had also had his older brother. She wanted school to be his normal place and requested no one ask him how she was doing. We went along with minimal updates and got the sad news a week after the end of the school year. For me she is the face of MBC. I assume the family has adjusted for the most part, but I still think of that dad, and the two young boys at the funeral home. Too much sadness this disease continues to bring, and now it has invaded my life and all of yours here too. Love to you all today.

oh Rosie~That just makes me feel so angry for those young boys and father. It’s isnt really fair at all. Young ones should never have to deal with adult feelings and circumstances! It just blows the big one! Plain and simple.

Mae~ yeah those stats suck wildly.
