Ringworm drug for dogs (Fenbendazole) might also cure cancer

Blain, in my opinion, it's all about choice. This is NOT a cure, it's NOT a preventative, but I think those of us that are stage IV will grasp at anything. I have seen some on the FB page that do it 7 days a week for, let's say, the first month? We have to make our own choices. This site is fairly new, but many people posting positive outcomes. I'm doing the 3 on, 4 off and everything else except the curcumin (on the fence about that one). Stage IV (for you) since 2016, rock on girl!
There seems to be many folks with liver, colon, tummy places...that are doing well. I don't believe this will kill us, so my thought, what can it hurt?
I will get labs on Tuesday, results Wednesday and see my onc on Thursday. Only being 3 weeks in, I'm not expecting anything....YET!

Jennifer, I don't think of it as grasping at anything. (sorry Goldie) If you go to PubMed you'll see the medical papers researching. Fenben for cancer. ONC's have known about it for decades it seems. Also, I read (can't remember where) that this type of medicine was used before Chemotherapy started. It has a long history. Think positive! Our bodies believe what the brain tells it.
As for dosing, yes on his fb page, the dosing is all over the place. I've seen no posts of anyone getting sick from it. Remember the dose is for a ten pound dog...so.
Can you take milk thistle to support your liver?
I'm doing 3/4 with the Vit E. only. If I had the money I'd definitely do the CBC oil with it. I just completed wk 5.
If you join his FB page, you can search for all the folks who are doing it for their liver and read their results.

i second Snooky...Joe is alive and well years later....it might not be a cure, BUT it's so simple, innocuous, and inexpensive....none of us have anything to lose....
I'm following the protocol, BUT, in three months if I see no results, I will increase the dose....and if I don't see results I will add the off-label medications that Mc Falland used to stay alive for the past fifteen years!
Everything is alive....our cells respond to our inputs, even the unconscious ones....so it's important, I believe, for us to have real faith in the process....
Watch the documentary on Bruce Lipton, he explains how the whole thing works scientifically....I obviously don't have to reiterate about what the alternative means.
Can we do it? YES WE CAN EVERYONE .

Snooky, no apologies needed. You have done WAY MORE research than I have! I just hope and pray this does something for all of us!
Drop the mic! LOL!

Standarizated milk thistle is wonderful to liver detoxify, sodium tiosulphate and Alpha Lipoic Acid does the work too with no SE. Sodium tiosulphate is used in medicine to detoxify from heavy metals and other substances. Just 1 rice size cristal in 1 glass of water. It cleans remainded chemo toxins in the body

Goldie,
Stage 4 since 2011, diagnosed 2012. I'm proud of the dates, as it hasn't all been easy.
We are all foot soldiers in this expedition.

I have been reading through this thread with keen interest, and am happy to report something positive from someone I know personally, yay!! I live in Cape Town South Africa, but my sweet American friend here has a daughter in the States with stage 4 BC in liver and bones and she started on the protocol about four weeks ago. Up until then she had been on Faslodex and Ibrance, with no success, and then went off everything only on Fenben protocol. She had incredible pain in her spine and hip from the mets, but the last week all pain has left. She will do some bloodtests and scans again, but I take any symptomatic relief without pain meds as a definite sign that something somewhere is shrinking! Rock on ladies!

thank you Daywalker for sharing these uplifting news with us...
May your friend experience a total remission! Please keep us updated on her health...it will incredibly encouraging to all of us!
God bless
For those of you struggling with lack of energy and focus...I'm finding 8mg of Ritalin taken twice @day as prescribed by my palliative care specialist is a good solution to my energy problems...I just hope that the effect lasts....

My wife is having the last of her WBR today and Tuesday. She has zero energy. Would Ritalin help her? She's afraid any energy enhancing product would also make her not sleeping well.
She is on steroids but will be gradually coming down from them. While she was all "roided up" it was impossible to talk to her about FenBen. Also, I opened up one of those 4 gram packets and divided it up into 4 equal piles then I tried putting each in a small zip lock. It poofed out all over the place; too much static cling I guess. I have these small plastic spoons that comes from Stevia we get at Trader Joe's. Maybe someone would know how many scoops would make up a gram?

Hi everyone! Something strange happened to me. I am on Ibrance/ Famers for a year and half and I am about to start my 5th week Fenben 3/4 and last couple days I have blisters in my mouth, which are not painful. Yesterday they almost disappeared, but today they are again on my mouth. Is it allergy or SE ?
Thank you!
0 -
Blueshine, I get blisters on the inside of my mouth when I eat crunchy things...breads, cookies and such...but they tend to heal as quickly as they appear...
ibrance, however, is known to produce blisters but they go away too....
mike...I don't know much about Ritalin, I just started taking it and I'm grateful to finally have energy to do the things I used to do...activities and sweating have to be good for us! I know I'll be sleeping tonight because I have to take the second dose of the Pfizer medication....
You might want to try mixing the fenben in yoghurt, or some other foodstuff and feed it to your wife....a week later you could tell her or not...I believe that if your intentions come from the highest place—potentially saving her life— anything goes....within reason of course!

Frisky, thank you so much! I was not sure to start today Fenben, because it is the only relatively new medication.
Much love for all brave women

Mike, volume isn't the best measure for weight, because of different densities of materials. 1 teaspoon of sugar is about 4 grams, but 1 teaspoon of salt is around 6 grams. It might be best you borrow or buy a cheap scale.

Jennifer.....This is what the folks on Joes FB page are doing to help the liver.
-------------------------------------
"He's been taking milk thistle and bitter melon for a while. But this protocol is highly recommended and helps rebuild liver health.
1. Alpha lipid acid - get the 'R' form, not S.
250 mg 2x per day
2. Selenium
200 mg 2x per day
3. Milk thistle
450 mg 2x per day
My husband also still gets the bitter melon in the morning.
These protocols called for the supplements divided into 2x per day, so we're doing breakfast and dinner."0 -
this link tells about the anti-cancer properties of NAC

FYI - I looked up NAC, and it's the precursor to glutathione, which with TNBC is not good for me. Just a reminder to all to look up your specific cancer in light of these ideas!

Thank You Santa......Very good advice.

No labs for this girl tomorrow, been down for 2 days with 102 temp, onc appt on Thursday canceled as well. Oh well, gives me another week on the FenBen!

I ordered some of the theracumin brand on amazon yesterday and my suggested "people who bought this also bought..." was the fenben protocol. I think a lot of people must be on it!!

Hi Snooky, I've been watching this thread with interest. Yours is the first of the group to have a biomarker test. The drop by 2/3s in your markers is indeed impressive. Just wanted to pass along a link to this article. They tested the combination of Taxol with Fenben and found a synergistic effect. It is quite a fascinating study. Please see link below, and this cut/pasted section which explains why there is a synergistic effect. The Fenben, according to their research works alone, and another study shows it works best with complex Vit E, but this work also shows that combining it with a drug like taxol that shifts metabolism toward glucose (that the fenben interrupts), instigates even more pronounced cancer cell death. Just wanted to share this for you and others.
Fenbendazole acts as a moderate microtubule destabilizing agent and causes cancer cell death by modulating multiple cellular pathways. Dogra, K., et al.
Combination effect of FZ with other drugs
Finally, we evaluated the effect of FZ in combination with the microtubule targeting drug taxol, glycolytic inhibitor 2 deoxyglucose (2DG) and dichloroacetate (DCA) - a pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase inhibitor which acts by shifting the metabolism towards glucose oxidation over glycolysis. In order to determine whether FZ could show an additive or synergistic effect with these drugs, cell proliferation assays were performed and the combination effects were analyzed using the combination index (CI) method. The Fa-CI plot for the combinations showed that the CI values were <1 over the entire range for combination with DCA, CI value was 0.04 at the 50% effective dose, suggesting a strong synergism by FZ and DCA. Similarly, CI values for the FZ-2DG combination were also less than 1 for the higher doses with a CI of 0.21 at the Fa value 0.5. CI <1 was also observed at most doses of FZ-Taxol combination (CI-0.52 at 50% inhibition). Since CI <1 represents synergism as per the CI method, we conclude that FZ shows synergistic effect with DCA, 2DG and over a range of doses with taxol.

Hi Seven of Nine,
Yes, I had seen that study. But thank you for posting so that others could read it too.
I had, at that time, only been on the FenBen for just four weeks so I don't know "for sure" that is the reason for the large drop. But I sure hope so.
Santa.....lol.. Yes, I know, they showed all three of the products "brought together" with my order weeks ago. I think it's a good sign.
Onward we go!

Well, just got the call. My radiation to my T10 starts tomorrow. I plan on taking the FenBen protocol right thru it, UNLESS someone on this thread has read of some reason not to.
Eager to get this started and finished. Just ten treatments.

Does anyone know if the recommended dose of fenbendazole is limited to 1 mg for a specific reason? I will be starting my 7th sequence of it tomorrow. What I have on hand is the 2 mg packets--is there a reason a person should not take that much? I'm very tempted . . . easier than weighing tiny amounts. So far no bad side effects. Waiting for tumor markers from checkup on Monday.

STUDY: UNHEALTHY GUT PROMOTES SPREAD OF BREAST CANCER
An unhealthy, inflamed gut causes breast cancer to become much more invasive and spread more quickly to other parts of the body, new research from the University of Virginia Cancer Center suggests.
...a research faculty ...found that disrupting the microbiome of mice caused hormone receptor-positive breast cancer to become more aggressive. Altering the microbiome, the collection of microorganisms that live in the gut and elsewhere, had dramatic effects in the body, priming the cancer to spread.

Schnauzer All that I remember is that's what Joe's protocal calls for. On his FB page there are many who take it twice a day or day for a week... I just figure why change what worked for him.
Snooky
0 -
Schnauzermom, the daily dose is 1 gram NOT 10 grams.
I personally feel that it's better to not exceed that daily dose, in order to protect the liver, however some of the patients have been taking 1 gram for seven days instead of three.
Good luck with your cancer markers...please let us know what they reveal

I have a hunch that SMom is talking dog weight.

maybe you're right...she mentioned 10 milligrams....

Frisky....scroll up and see a post of mine...I called out your name

Snooky that you for posting that research which confirms what we've suspected all along! I'm going to take a probiotic as we speak!
