THIS IS FROM JOE'S FB PAGE. THIS IS THE LAST TIME THAT I WILL CROSS POST BECAUSE I FEEL I'm INVADING THEIR PRIVACY. BUT YOU'VE GOT TO READ THIS. SNOOKY.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

She was diagnosed with Stage 4 Leomyosarcoma which is all over her bones and Liver in December. On April 25th my wife was sent home to Hospice after trying immuniotherapy and radation. We also tried carrot juicing, a vegetarian diet and a low methionine diet which did not work. Over the time of these therapies her Liver went from 7-8 lessions to 30% covered to 70% covered and heavy ascites to the point where she had to get a permanent drain put in and we would drain 1.5 to 1 Liter per day of fluid.

    Health Update:

First of all we give all glory to God and his son Jesus Christ who has already conquered sin and death! Without Faith it is impossible to please him and with God all things are possible!

This is my first post but we have been on a variation of the protocol for 6 weeks. 10 days every day(single dose). Then based on reading we decided to do twice per day on the 3 days on/4 days off due to wanting to get results and the state of my wife. We stopped all dietary changes and went back to eating what ever sounded good, because my wife had lost a bunch of weight doing the diets and dealing with the disease. We also started some of the liver supplements to support her liver healing.

Long story short in first 4 weeks we saw a visible bone tumor shrink by 30% and by 60-70% at 6 weeks. We want to do blood test but none were done because of how weak my wife was.

The ascites liver symptoms have dramatically decreased in the last week going from 1.5-1 Liter a day to .4L every other day.

The only negative we have seen is her pain has increased dramatically. So we are managing this with medical marijuana and opiods. The medical marijuana seems to make her sleep more and she wants to get up and move.

Everything is not perfect yet...She still needs strength to help getting up and walk without a walker or longer distances and the pain mentioned above.

However we are seeing very physical and dramatic results! We continue to pray and ask God to continue to manifest the healing that was already paid for by Jesus!

When people ask how things are going, I say we are on a rollcoaster, depending on the day/hour things are up or down. Some days more up some days more down, so hang in there everyone!

    One last thing:

The Day we received the news about being sent home to hospice was April 25th. This was my wife's birthday and we prayed that she would get good gifts from the Lord on that day. Well April 25th was the day that Joe was on the news and that is the reason we found out about this!

    ===============

I conclude. Praise the Lord. Snooky

Snooky that you for posting that inspirational story...please don't feel guilty....everyone on this site has a legitimate reason to read about these success stories. I think Joe would agree

Well, I still haven't done labs and canceled onc appt.Ended up in the ER this morning. UTI, Upper resp. inf., elevated liver enzymes, have to do a stool sample then drive it back to the hospital, hour and half there then the same back! I was quite surprised they didn't put me on IV fluids, esp. after the uti diag. I'm concerned about the elevated liver, scares me that it might be the fenben. Oh my, what shall one do????

Well, at least I don't have a cold or the flu!

So sorry to hear about your recent problems Goldie....what medication are you taking apart from the fenben

  • goldie0827
    goldie0827 Member Posts: 6,835

Xeloda, Xgeva and everything on the protocol except the curcumin.

The amount of fenben we take is extremely small... one third of what would be given to a 10pd dog....

I might be wrong, but I doubt it’s the fenben....but ultimately it’s what makes you comfortable...you might want to put the fenben on hold till you get the labs and scans done....

    I progressed on xeloda....

Goldie..... Do you drink lots of water each day? If the fenben is killing cancer cells there could be a lot of die off that needs to exit your body quickly. Your liver would be working very hard to eliminate the toxins. It's called a healing crisis. Of course, I don't know that is what is happening....but it is a possibility. I think I would take a week off and let your body catch up. Drink water. Lots... Keep your bowls moving. I'm praying very hard that it is not anything serious.

Did the doctors give you any clue what they thought it could be?

Just found this on lumpie's thread:

Can an Airport Scanner Detect a Tumor or Medical Issue? - YouTube

So, in addition, does this mean that frequent flyers are getting lots of radiation?

Snooky, it's stated up in a previous post, what they found. I am trying to drink a bunch of water, but water on an empty stomach doesn't sit too well!

    goldie…

" UTI, Upper resp. inf., elevated liver enzymes,"

I understand that this is what they found. But, what I meant is what is causing those symptoms? At one time, you stated that you had a fever. Just curious if you have a viral or bacterial infection, or what?

Sorry to be so nosy! Snooky

LOL, I don't mind nosy, however, I don't have an answer for you. They did blood cultures, chest xray, uranalasis, and of course no fever when I got there. And I had broken my thermometer, old fashion glass one. I was shaking the mercury down and hit my knee, busting the little end off. I've never felt like this, I am now almost passing out when I get up and it wears me out just to type...….oy vey!

Oh dear Goldie, I'm so sorry. Try to just rest until the Drs tell you what you should do.

Goldie, I hope you feel better soon. I would recommend retaking liver enzyme tests once you start feeling better. My liver enzymes often spike when I am sick and go down just as quickly a week or two later. If you test soon, then you would have a sense of whether the elevated enzymes are going down or sticking around.

This site lists a patent for the class of drugs that fenben is in. Scoll thru all of it and read the bottom. Very interesting. Patent was issued in 2008

I was very excited to read about Joe Tippens success with the fenbenzadole. My order arrives tomorrow and will begin the regimen same day as xeloda. I will let everyone know how it's going. My next scan will be in Sep as I just had one this month which showed new lesions on my liver hence the xeloda.

Hi ladies! I've had my surgery last tuesday. Today is my second day of fenben, and I'm feeling a little pain in my stomach, and some diarrhea and nauseas. Can be the fenben? Someone of you felt like that at the beggining of fenben?

  • Frisky
    Frisky Member Posts: 1,686

Hi Yndorian...I’ve had no symptoms whatsoever from the fenben...what we take is for dogs that weigh less than 10pds...so no SE for me. I wish I could say the same about the regular cancer medications..

Thank you Frisky, I hope it is an herxheimer reaction. I wouldn't like to stop taking it.

Well Hi Yndorian. Congrats on getting the surgery out of the way! Hope you healing is speedy and without incident.

So you know what a herx reaction (healing crisis) is. Good, you know what to watch for. Geesh, if you've only been on it a week, my "GUESS" is it's too early. But you know your body better than I do.

I just finished my 6th week. About ten days ago, I thought I might be in a healing crisis, had all the symptoms except a fever. I just tried to rest in bed, drink fluids, did a salt water flush, and waited it out. Which worked for me.

Right now I'm being extra vigilant because of being on taxol, fenben and radiation for ten days, I could be having a lot of die-off. (hope hope) I have noticed extreme fatigue, worse than normal since radiation started last week. I'm not fighting it this time, just laying around, taking liver supplements and drink tons of water so my body can flush out the toxins. Would love to have access to a sauna to sweat the toxins out.

But since you just had surgery, please be careful. Watch for infections.

Please keep us posted as to how you're doing.

    HUGS

Goldie0827, I hope you feel better very soon.

Yndorian, are you taking the brand of vitamin E Joe recommended? Some Amazon reviews mentioned stomach issues.

Snooky: thank you for the tips. I'll be aware. Maybe it is an herx reaction, I though it too. I hope you're doing well with 3 tx at the same time!

JMouse: I don't taking Joe's vit.e. Just a common vit. E. Maybe the pain medicines aren't helping my stomach.

    Wathever I won't give up.

    HUGS!

Yndorian please be aware that the vitamin E was found in mice trails to be essential for fenben to be effective. It has to be also of good quality.

Sunflower seeds and almonds are supposed to be a good natural source of Vitamin E. If you can get it, wheat germ oil is very high in vitamin E. There is a reason to favor natural sources, or naturally sourced vitamin E. It contains more than just the Alpha tocopherol that standard vitamin E supplements are made from. The other forms of vitamin E have healthier properties than the more abundant, alpha tocopherol.

Hi Husband 11, May I ask how your wife is doing on the xeloda? I just started yesterday and was curious about the tolerance.

    Thanks so much
