Y....I know that you didn't ask me, but the info I've read is this. No, you don't need to take them forever IF You eat some foods are pre probiotics which fed the gut flora. Our grandparents didn't take probiotics for 2 reasons, they ate fermented foods. Home made, pickles, beets, sauerkraut, etc Also, antibiotic medicines were not used until the 1940's. Antibiotics kill the good gut flora along with the bad so that you gut is out of balance and the fungi in our stomachs take over making our bodies too acidic.
Perhaps Philly has a different view. It's just our eating habits have drastically changed in the last 50/60 yrs.

totally hear you Snooky and respect what you are saying. There's so much info to navigate through. And so many differing opinions. And we each have to decide what works best for ourselves, and what our “truths" are when it comes to navigating “wellness" and this damn disease. I go all over the place in my head a hundred times a day!
My thoughts on colonics is that doing it once or twice in an emergency can be quite therapeutic, especially for a person who is naturally backed up and needs assistance with moving along fecal waste matter. Repeatedly cleansing the colon with colonics could potentially strip the colon of important protective excretory fluids and irritate the lining of the tissues. So it is not something that I typically recommend. I’m sure there’s folks out there that swear by the colonic and would disagree with me. I am only sharing my clinical and academic medicinal training knowledge here
Y - with regards to the probiotics; I will prescribe them to certain people with differing GI issues like Crohn's disease, IBS etc, who have been on antibiotics, certain chronic diseases. Most people in the USA follow the standard American diet and (like Snooky wrote) are not consuming foods high in probiotics I would recommend a probiotic. Yes, a lot of probiotics will die in the stomach due to the high acidity of the gastric fluids. So how does it reach the small intestine and large intestine? Great question! Research shows that some does and most doesn't. But the hope is enough gets there to create a shift in the balance of the gut flora, and help improve things there.
In terms of whether we need to take them for life, well that all depends and needs to be decided on an individual basis, based upon a persons daily diet, health conditions and health history.

Frisky, I love my veggies, but 7 cups a day I don't think I can do!
Snooky, don't stop advising. I am perfectly fine with looking at all suggestions and know I can pick and choose which ones I try. Am I stressed about it, not at all, not a word in my vocabulary. I've been dealing with cancer for 11 years. Did rads in 2008, and yes they kick your butt, especially at the end of the week. The best thing to do is rest, cuz it's accumulative. After a good weekends rest, I felt so much better come Monday. As for the bath, not something to do on X correct, however, I don't have a tub. For Mother's Day, my step daughter, whom has been here several times, sent me bath bombs as a gift. I assume it's something someone got her and she wasn't interested.
Love, it's a free world and we are entitled to our opinions, so no flack from me.
Up at 10, laid in bed for almost 2 hours and couldn't go back to sleep, so might as well get up, right?

Well, I had posted how darn good I was feeling the day after I got home from the hospital, unfortunately it goes down hill a bit each day. Hoping to get results on the hepatitis today. Which I do believe will be negative.

I hope it's negative too, GOldie. Take care of yourself. Snooky

Avemar (fermented wheat )
Joe is now recommending taking this with his protocol if possible. I checked it out on Amazon and good golly is it expensive!

Avemar, as it turns out, in clinical trial was more effective than tamoxifen, femara and all the other anti estrogens combined, without the side effects....it's amazing what these pharmaceutical companies get way with in this country...
We're never given a choice...are we? And then, it's not covered, rendering it uncompetitive. Isn't our form of capitalism wonderful? God bless America....sometime I want to disappear under a rock..... i'm so ashamed....

Wow, Frisky, had no idea about the Avemar. Yeah, I hear you about what big phar. has done to our country. My heart just goes out to the children and younger women who go through this nightmare. I'm 65 and wasn't all that healthy before cancer. So, it's "a bit" easier for me to accept. Just a very little bit.
Just got my 5th radiation, halfway thru.

I did the Epsom salts this morning, took all of the 5 hours. First stool nice and solid, then next 4 (so far) like water. I have had 60 oz of water so far today....yuk!

Yep, Goldie, it's working. It seems harsh but it's a good thing.

No different than a colonoscopy prep!

And probably tastes better!

Hi Goldie, hope you don't mind me asking but what are your MO's thoughts on your scans?
You don't have to say just curious.

A Cancer Cure Has Gotten Out Of Control And Has Spread Beyond The Confines Of Modern Medicine
A detailed look at the cancer industry and Joe Tippens...stock up on your FenBen. Before you know it, they will be coming after the fenben and us fast and furiously!
Disassociated people please be aware, the reading of these facts and statistics might cause an immediate and irreversible curbing of your enthusiasm. If you wish to remain optimistic about the new cures at your local hospital that are waiting just around the corner, please proceed with caution.

Snooky - The addition of Avemar is very interesting! Where did Joe write about it? I can't find it on his blog. Thanks if you can point me in the right direction!

Frisky.....Nothing in there that some of us hadn't already suspected. I read somewhere that if cancer is cured, the US economy will crash. Who knows. I "think" that if the FenBen protocal really growing out of control, they will change the ingredients. Stay on your toes about what you are buying.
lila Joe did write about it towards the end of his blog. But he calls it fermented wheat (germ?) not by the name of Avemar. But, on his FB page a couple of FENBEN users were discussing it. The way I understand it is this, Joe is not taking it now. It's something he'd consider for the future should he ever need it. Were I you, I'd go to PubMed.com and do a search on it. Just type in Avemar and cancer and see what it pulls up.

Kat, no problems with the questions, I am always open to them, from friends or strangers. I haven't seen my MO yet. But like Frisky stated earlier to me in a post on the previous page, it's about healing and getting rid of those nasty cancer cells. I think I had my doctor and all of those at the hospital rather shocked!
Frisky, interesting article, but sad as well. Docs and big pharms just DON'T want a cure, now how fricking sad is that. It so pisses off!
Getting a bit better each day, still a low grade fever, 100 this morning. I will get my regular labs done today, and results tomorrow, so I will see what liver is doing. Not sure which one it was, but while in the hospital, it was up over 1000. I will also stock up on my FenBen! I did get mypackage from the UK, but haven't opened it yet! I will start back on FenBen, next Wednesday, or maybe Monday! I'm anxious to get back on it.

I think doctors want a cure but big pharma is the only entity deciding what gets a clinical trial ($50M+) and without a double blind clinical trial to prove something works, a doctor is reluctant to embrace it. Nobody does a double blind clinical trial unless its a new medicine that can make money.
Big Pharma may want a cure, but they want one they can patent, and can make money on....

Goldie, I totally understand. So excited for you. I hope you get to feeling better soon!! Thanks for the reply. Everyone on here is so great and glad to be a part of the conversation 😊

As they say santabarbar you "hit the nail on the head." Also, looking at when this thread started and about when you ladies began to take fenben, shouldn't we be seeing some results coming in. I don't expect complete 100% remission yet but suddenly good scan, tumors shrinking and tumor markers going down. I'd need these things to happen to help convince my wife to start taking fenben and vit. e.

I'm intrigued by the article Frisky posted (and agree that we should stock up now.. if nothing else, the maker will raise the price). It's from an organization called the National Health Foundation. Under the "about" section it lists it's wins and they are so varied for me. I am not antivac and (am in the deep minority on this) don't revere chiropractors. I'm also a skeptic of the nonfluoridation campagin and the aspartame thing... remember those emails about diet coke when email first became a thing? But some of these other wins are good. The article she posts is legit, points to legit studies.
The NHF Timeline
- In the 1950s we fought and won the battle for mandatory inspection of poultry.
- In the 1960s we coordinated a major drive to help chiropractors become legally licensed in over 40 states.
- In the 1970s we waged very successful campaigns against fluoridation.
- In the 1980s we pushed through legislative recognition of acupuncture.
- In the 1990s we lobbied to pass the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act S-784, fought malathion spraying, promoted public education on the dangers of vaccinations, and continued fighting the fluoridation battle.
- In the 2000s we worked to prevent the Codex attempts at restricting your freedom to take vitamins and minerals, to prevent re-classifying of anabolic-steroid dietary supplements as Controlled Substances, and against the attempts to harmonize vitamin and supplement laws which would have strictly regulated natural health foods worldwide.
- Throughout the 2010s we continue our work to keep steroids and dangerous antibiotics out of the global meat and honey supply, to reduce the allowable amounts of aluminum, lead and arsenic in food, to get aspartame declared a dangerous and harmful artificial sweetener, and for standardized full-disclosure food labeling. And our work continues against the harmful agendas of big agriculture/pharmaceuticals concerns.

Mike-- Joe says it takes 10-20 wks. We have to go by our normal scan schedule. Can't ask for earlier scans just because we take Fenben.
0 -
Well I never said you should ask for an earlier scan just because you take fenben.

I had labs today, should have results tomorrow. I had CT at the hospital, all clear except for bone mets that we already knew about. I have done 4 weeks on Fenben, but waiting until my energy picks back up.
Oh, and I went to the hospital to get my records to see if anything about the hepatitis showed up, but all it said was to follow up with my doctor on that. That was my only reason for getting the records, was disappointed with that! 9 hours in town today has worn me out!

Mike "Well I never said you should ask for an earlier scan just because you take fenben."
No, Mike, you never said that, my apologies for being snippy. Taxol is not playing nice with my moods. I believe my next scan should be early Aug. I will post results straight away.
You might want to scroll back though these comments where I wrote about my markers taking a huge nose dive.

Went to town yesterday, which is an hour away, but one of the stops was the hospital to pick up my records, so I could see if it told of the hepatitis. All it said was that was to be followed up with doctor! WTF, so I still don't know anythings. Oy Vey!
Anyways, here are my lab results. Which always go up. But this time, one came down, the CA 27.29.

Goldie, I don't think that chart shows the latest results. Most recent I can see is April 25, 2019.

Well Husband, you are so right! So here are the numbers as they would be on the chart, left to right.
14.4 366 336

Ok, I opened my Panacur. I have 9 packets that cost me $33.00. Each packet has 4.5g. Protocol is for 1g each for 3 days. So one packet will do 4 days with a .5 gram left, giving an extra 4 days. So I should have enough for 40 days!

I'm ready to order some milk thistle, but there are so many different grams. From 175 to 1000 grams. Here are the two links I'm looking at, and one even has a Milk Thistle Liver Detox. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am NOT getting off this train!
