BREAKING: Donald Trump's campaign panics over shocking new allegations leveled against him by Bob Woodward and lash out at the legendary Watergate reporter, calling him "truly demented and deranged man."

    They're terrified...

According to Woodward's new book War, Trump secretly sent COVID-19 testing equipment to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in 2020 when the devices were still not widely available.

The book also cites an aide who alleges that Trump and Putin have spoken on the phone as many as six times since Trump the White House.

Woodword also states that in 2024 Trump ordered one of his aides to leave his office at Mar-a-Lago so that he could have a clandestine phone call with Putin.

Trump world is rushing to do damage control.

"None of these made up stories by Bob Woodward are true and are the work of a truly demented and deranged man who suffers from a debilitating case of Trump Derangement Syndrome," said Trump spokesman Steven Cheung.

"Woodward is an angry, little man and is clearly upset because President Trump is successfully suing him because of the unauthorized publishing of recordings he made previously," he continued. "President Trump gave him absolutely no access for this trash book."

Cheung added that Woodward is a "a total sleazebag who has lost it mentally."

Clearly, the reporter has struck a nerve. The Department of Justice should launch an immediate investigation. If Trump is secretly selling our country out to our adversaries, we have a right to know.

I find it interesting that we seem to be having this un-covered rather late, so I would hope there was and or will be an immediate looking into of these items.

Have to say I've had my negative views of Howard Stern, but I'm totally up with him on this, period.

I had to delete a whole post. It was one of the ones that had pictures and none of them did one thing for the article which was what I was after.

The Headline Blurb was that the Reps. felt the election in reality was over and that Trump had won. Well, despite knowing that I'm really un-trustworthy of most of that, I did wonder just who was putting such a thing out there. It turned out to be Mark Halperin. It has been some time but Mark Halperin at one time was a guest almost daily on MSNBC with Morning Joe. As is the case with a huge number of newspeople/journalists he got involved in sexual misconducts and had to leave the show. Up to that time I enjoyed seeing him on the show and really didn't find any big faults with his commentary while there.

Seems he is rather big now on Newsmaxx which is a rt. wing extremist site. So many of these people rely on skewered information like outlier polls and other things of that nature not normally used by the majority of high-level pollsters and other reporters.

So, I give it the barest notice since I think it's worth almost nothing, but did decide to mention it since it turned out to be authored by a name I knew well but can't say I ever missed him all that much. Basically, it made me wonder, hmmm — about rt. or left wing journalists, news sites etc. Media-wise things are so illogical now I began to wonder — was Halperin a somewhat secret rt. winger or just highly willing to become one to get BACK into the business. Just wonder how long I'll be jaded about the news business.

Oklahoma has amended its request for 55,000 Bibles to be placed in public schools that initially matched a version of the holy book endorsed by former President Trump.

The request was amended Monday and no longer requires the Bibles to include U.S. historical documents such as the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution — requirements that match the “God Bless the USA Bible” that Trump endorsed this year and that are several times more expensive than similar Bibles that don't include the U.S. documents.

A couple of other things were mentioned that did not come through here and that was that not only were the Trump bibles $59.99 compared to normal (not having excess materials in them) ones which were/are around $20.00 each. Also, the change comes as it is not allowable to only feature one possible purchase — multiple choices must appear.

The other documents, if still wanted could be purchased separately and put in the Bibles. I'm wondering how long they would stay in w/o getting lost or damaged and just how many students are truly heavily interested in reading a book that can be difficult, and in many ways relates with difficulty to today's technological world. I still think the person responsible is lost and confused and frankly doesn't know sh** from Shinola.

This in reference to Woodward's new book on FG. FG is seething and once more calling names. In in case, in the book Woodward references that Pres. Biden generally when speaking of FG refers to him as my predecessor or the FG, but in private calls him a fuck*** assho**. He FG is that and so much more that isn't' polite to say around some people.

Trump Embarrassed After He Doesn’t Seem To Know How Government Works

We need a leader who understands the system

by Terry Lawson3 mins ago3 mins ago

Leaders should know how the government they want to lead works. But Donald Trump has once again shown otherwise. In an appearance on The Ben Shapiro Show, Donald Trump suggested that both President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris should be removed from office under the 25th Amendment. The most surprising part? Trump admitted he didn’t know who would become president after them, asking who was “third in line” according to the Constitution.

In the United States, if the president leaves office or is removed, the vice president takes over. If something happens to both, the Speaker of the House is next in line. This is basic government knowledge, yet Trump seemed confused by it. One Twitter user, Jared Ryan Sears, replied to Filipkowski’s tweet, saying: “Trump didn’t know how the government worked or what the Constitution said before becoming President, learned nothing while serving as the worst President in US history, and somehow knows even less today. The question should be, ‘Who is second in line?’ The answer is the Speaker of the House.”

It’s hard to understand how someone who wants to be president again doesn’t know this. Another Twitter user, Cheryl Schaeffer, said it perfectly: “You shouldn’t be running for president if you don’t know who is 3rd in line for the president position. That’s elementary school history stuff.”

This kind of mistake isn’t new for Trump. When he was president, he often showed he didn’t understand history or how the government works. For example, in 2017, Trump claimed that Andrew Jackson could have stopped the Civil War. The issue? Andrew Jackson had died in 1845, years before the Civil War even started in 1861. This clearly shows that Trump didn’t fully grasp basic historical facts, which is concerning for someone who held the highest office in the country.

Another example is from 2018. Trump signed an executive order saying he would stop family separations at the border. However, these separations were a result of his own administration’s policies. Even though Trump tried to make it look like he was solving the problem, he didn’t fully understand the policy he had put in place. These mistakes show that Trump doesn’t have a good understanding of the government he once led. It’s one thing to make a small mistake, but Trump keeps making big mistakes about important things. How can someone lead a country if they don’t even know how the government works?

As the 2024 election gets closer, voters need to think carefully about who they want to lead. Do we really want someone who doesn’t understand basic government rules? Or should we choose a leader who knows how the system works and can lead the country well? Trump’s confusion about the 25th Amendment and who comes next in line for the presidency is just one more reason why he shouldn’t be president again. We need leaders who are informed, not confused.

A brief aside here in regards to climate change, Republicans’ denials that it exists and the reality that it’s happening.

A meteorologist of 20 years got choked up on air about the magnitude of Hurricane Milton and realizing how climate change will continue to affect our lives. But of course, Republicans choose to believe politicians like DeSantis and FG know better than the experts. I am wondering how many younger voters will get out there and vote blue based on the climate change. It’s gonna be their world. They better be paying attention.

Veteran meteorologist describes moment he got choked up reporting on Milton

John Morales, a longtime meteorologist and hurricane specialist for NBC 6 South Florida, addressed the now-viral moment when he choked up on-air while reporting on the magnitude of Hurricane Milton.

“It was just a mixture of empathy for those people, as well as the angst of increasingly frequent and more severe extreme weather events and just frustration over being a climate communicator for over 20 years and realizing this is happening and we knew it was coming,” Morales told CNN on Tuesday.

Earlier, during a live segment on NBC, Morales became visibly emotional while reporting on one of the most powerful storms in a century. “It’s just an incredible, incredible, incredible hurricane. … It has dropped 50 millibars in 10 hours,” Morales said, referring to the sharp drop in atmospheric pressure, as his voice cracked. “I apologize. This is just horrific,” he added.

A clip of Morales, shared by CNN journalist Brian Stelter on the social media platform X, had been watched nearly 15 million times by Tuesday night.

    Short video:

Speaking to CNN’s Erin Burnett, he said this was a departure from his usual “non-alarmist” style. “I have changed. The extreme weather events that are multiplying,” he said, reflecting on the role of climate change. “These symptoms of the changing climate have changed me from a cool cucumber to somebody that’s certainly more agitated and in a bit of dismay about what’s going on,” he said.

I do find it incredible that the Reps. are now continually denying what is so transparently obvious. I can't comprehend that they are all science/climate deniers so feel some are still placating FG and whatever (no matter how foolish and stupid) he sees fit to try and upset Democratic responses.

It would seem to be as has been said before that while FG may get some short term satisfaction, those who matter will not support him, as already many of the Reps. governors who have heard from Biden are being VERY truthful in saying that FG is lying. It is amazing to me that anyone (even some of the MAGATS) who have always seen FEMA step up are willing to 'believe' FG and that Democrats are stealing FEMA funds.

I fear we have a generation of people who may live a long time unable (even after FG is long gone) to admit the fact they gave their all to a charlatan con who abused them in every way, and they ate it up and let him. I have to wonder how long it will take the 'real' politicians to do the same. Perhaps a dichotomy here as being politicians they are subject to the wiles of the chameleon. Those that are right now running in areas that are 'lean Democrat' are campaigning saying they pro-choice. Well, how convenient because they have not voiced those sentiments in quite some time with their love of FG and going with him. Guess they have to try, but women are not going to be that easily duped. It is not going to help them as Jonny-come-latelys to try and convince women they care and are standing with them. It's just not true.

Pretty sure Mar-La-Go would be taking a direct hit if Democrats could control the weather.

All good memes, but hard to figure which words from our list for adequate description of all. I loved the oh so true MTG one.

Ruth, I'm right there with you — in fact to make sure reality really means something I'd make sure one happened anywhere FG might be at the time. Of course, only impacting him and not any 'innocents'.

Nothing totally new here. The man (FG) and his campaign have no ethics and no morals either. As far as things done this is one of the least bad.
