    So, it sounds to me like the piece I read a few days ago (not sure just how it was worded) that indicated that the Reps. were using a lot of skewered polls and the media were taking it up from them, really had some basis.

    That said, because the media does play games, I likely will remain nervous, but it only seems reasonable because everything I heard us until the last couple or so weeks seem to indicate that Democrats were doing fairly good. Didn't say we were way ahead, but slightly better right then as opposed to the Reps.

    Apparently, the media is going to be a bit more honest now seeing as how it would look quite bad for them to keep saying the Democrats are losing when we very well might not. I've been a little fed up with the news people for a while and that is ALL cable news for sure.

    Thank goodness I will be busy all day tomorrow. DS's fiance has invited me to go wedding dress shopping with her, her mom & sister in a bigger city several hours away. I am glad for the distraction. Either people will care more about our freedoms & democracy itself, or they will be more upset with the price of french fries.

    Went early afternoon and voted. I've not paid much mind to the t.v. all day. I know Dh will want to watch how things are goinf this evening and so I will see some of it, but it sounds like a lot of it likely won't be known for some time later, like tomorrow or later.

    Although the pit of my stomach will not be happy, I am (or will be) interested in how things play out as far as the media and their hype up to the election. If it was for the ratings that we heard so many possible 'stories' because it sure seems that way. If so, I hope they can be held to some sort of account for having done that. Otherwise I will remain upset at the amt. of people who chose to be greedy, power hungry and help the orange Loon try to blow everything up on us.
