OK I have a few moments so I am going to try and do a bit of a catch-up post
Susan- I would love to be a secret pal though I am afraid my post-mark would out me right away So I guess I could be a not-so-secret pal
Karen- good to see you post. Hope you got some sleep
Good morning Vickie how are your grumpies this morning? Mine seem to have been swept away a bit by some SUNSHINE this morning. Remember every little thing is gonna be alright ..Thanks for the coffee and breakfast this morning by the way your dance-dance revolution guy scares the crap out of me! LOL I had seen the boys taking their photo video before, but still laughed my butt off.
Joyce- always glad when someone flies by with a NED announcement! WooHoo talk to you more this weekend..
Beth hang in there .try and stay busy.
Jankay thanks for the jokes. Hope you have a better day hon
Amy your posts make me want to build a big barn and get more critters! A neighbor has lamas and alpacas. They are beyond cute and have a wonderful smell to their wool. The neighbor swears they keep the bears away, but they are so cute and so much smaller than a brownie, that I cant believe it works. Remind me to tell you about the cool soap I made with the felted wool covers. They would sell like hot-cakes if you are going in the soup business, and you would have an excuse to get your alpaca for the wool
Shirley hope your hubby is feeling better. There is nothing more stressful than a sick/hurting hubby I laughed my a$$ off when you said you hated Kool-Aid. Heck, we cant be a cult if ya wont drink the Kool-Aid! ROTFLMAO!!
Jasmine I laughed at your Kool-Aid but I wanted purple LOL. OK something gross have you ever noticed that if you drink a bunch of purple Kool-Aid it makes your poo green? How the heck does that happen??? And does it make you a little tiny bit scared to know I notice such things? LOL
Gina I have a PO box too. The mailman doesnt come out this far. Maybe I can be the northern base for our cult. Sheesh Glad you are feeling chipper enough to post. Just think, cancer cells are dieing as we speak! Better living through chemistry. Hang in there and dont let stuff get you down.
Yikes, I know I have left a lot of people out but I am running late. Hugs to everyone. AN extra hug for Cheri .
Hugs

Ladies, now that we have all corners of the US and Canada covered, I think its time to think GLOBAL! Yup, time to take our cult on the road.
0 -
Instead of Blue Oyster Cult we can be the Pink Pearl Cult!
0 -
Yup, and we already got the motto....PJ's, Hugs, and Drugs!
0 -
Okay, can we all just stop now??? This is what happens. Feelings get hurt and it just seeps into other threads and I hate that.
JMO0 -
Hey I am ready to go on the road, and the Pink Pearl Cult sounds like a wonderful group.
0 -
Don't we have a songwriter here? Maybe she can write a cult song for us!

I'm with Peggy...let the others play there games and we will all stay here and take care of each other.
Gina...they did break a lot of the rules. My guess is that the moderators are busy elsewhere but will clear this matter up in no time. Come to the center, have a seat, put up your feet and let us take care of you. We don't care where or what you post.
Jasmine...I had forgotten all about PJ's, hugs and drugs! We were going to make bumper stickers LOL.
Robin...what a beautiful baby...thank you for sharing.
Cheri dear...where are you? Tried IM'ing you but your not there...
Jankay...found a laugh for ya but you'll have to go back a page or two to find it...it's hilarious. Sending you a hug.
Deb...the grumpies are subsiding...it is the weirdest thing to suddenly be so friggin down and have no idea why. I know that I am beginning to stress about my oncologist followup May 8th. I feel fine but I am really stressed he will want, for whatever reason, to run a full battery of tests since it's been a years since I finished chemo. Truthfully...I don't want too!!! He may not as I am really feeling great and have no symptoms. I hate anxiety.
oh well...break time is over...geez...
till later
love and hugs

Robin, I have all boys surrounding me between sons, stepsons and grandsons. We have one grandaughter so she is precious to me. SS #2 has fianlly contacted dh so we may even get to see her! BTW, I have a friend whose soon-to-be ex is allergic to poison ivy. She rubbed the plants all over his BVD's and let the fun begin! Seh even asked where on earth he picked up such a rash. We were ROTFLMAO after she told us!
I have one thing to add to the turmoil and to pass on to the disease, exes, Evils, cysts, bad docs, miserable family members, nosy neighbors, irritable colons and whoever else needs a little razzzz:
No matter what, this cirlce among several other places on teh boards, have helped me with information and advice and support. I really am glad we have all found each other and can help one another.
Gina, glad your first chemo went well.
Shel, if we have to sacrifice something, let it be our exes.
Cheri, all I can say is I am praying for B9 all the way.
Shirley, dh in pain is not easy to deal with. They are the original grumps.
Sheri, when our kids are sick it is so very hard to deal with but we are moms and know it is one more hurdle. Sending good vibes.
Jaz, have no idea what else was posted but you are a strong lady and I love our Im's together.
Tracey, where are the pics from your birthday? You have been so quiet lately. Write when you can.
Mena, missing you.
Deb, how are things in the muddy northern frontier. Every time I see something about Alaska, I picture your avatar!
Puppy, no viruses yet!0 -
deb, you are right. secret pals would instantly know who the other person was by the post mark. if you send email, they would recognize your email. how can it be secret. I would need to start a secret pal web site. hmmmm.....with secret pal emails and post office addresses. oh i just went into overwhelm.....................................
0 -
I'm all for "not so secret" pals
Don't make it a crazy amount of work for you.
It should be fun.
Peggy-
You are right...I am done. I was trying to make light and
try and get rid of the stress. Maybe joking sends the
wrong message. I will just ignore from now on. Thanks for
the reminder
Hugs

Deb, I don't remember who posted it but it is so true, when the toddlers start throwing sand take them out of the sandbox. And I always use humor as a defense mechanism. I even used it during labor with ds when I told the dr that there was a lightbulb out in the OR overhead lamp!
On anohter note, not so secret pals would be good. Maybe like having a sunshine club like we have at work. Keep us posted Susan.0 -

Good afternoon CGs!
Oh my goodness! I have missed quite a lot! This Circle is the most loving and forgiving place on earth. There is never any nastiness here. I'm sorry, but if that qualifies us as being a cult, oh well
! Enough said!
Cheri, WTH!!! A cyst in your brain? I know it is not a tumor, but CRIPES!!! It was interesting what Jaz said about you being sick. Hmmmm.
Amy, you should name your new little donkey, Maxwell!! "Bang, bang, Maxwell's silver hammer came down on her head"

. I'm not sure if those are the exact words, but you get the picture!
JanKay, sweetie, you really do have a lot to deal with. If you need to cry, go ahead. You can use our shoulders, they are nice and strong. And afterwards, we can all laugh our butts off
.
Sherloc, I'm sorry your DH is in so much pain! That is hard on both of you. Hopefully he will feel better soon. I loved the pics of your kids and grandkid.
Sheri, What is an FNA? I'm happy your son made out ok with it.
Robin, great pics of the kids!!! Thank goodness everyone looks like you and not the EVIL.
NS, I'm glad you survived your first chemo. It's gonna be tough, but you are a strong woman and you will do just fine. I wanted to thank you for all your well-written, from-the-heart posts. You have put feelings into words in a way that I never could. I always felt like you spoke for all of us! Thank you for starting the Wagon Circle!
I have been so busy this week. Working extra hours and doing stupid stuff around the house. We are going to our oldest son's house this weekend to help him cut down a big cherry tree, in his front yard, that died. That tree was so beautiful, it's a shame to lose it.
I saw my BS yesterday and he said all was well. No lumps, bumps or anything of that nature.
I'll check back a little later. Hope all is well with all my friends today!0 -
Hey ladies I say that "Pink Pearl Cult" it is and of course our "signature cult uniform will be pink pearls"......of course NS will wear a strand for every member because she is of course our fearless leader and then us "followers" because we don't have a minds of our own will wear just a single strand....that way we will be able to recognize each other in airports and other public places....that way we can hatch our evil plans to force women to breast exams right then and there (because we will be carrying little compact mammogram machines)......and the poor women that indeed have "bc" will then be forced to join bc.org and become members of the wagon cicrle.......NS plans to overtake bc.org will continue.........ha..........

Update on my teeth.....I have 0 cavities. How cool is that. Do need two crowns on old unfinished root canals (knew that already) and then we move on to braces. Doc said he won't do it till he is 100% sure moving my teeth while on aredia won't cause any damage. Hmmmmm
well shoot howdy MB, thanks for reminding me. Have a package chock full of bras in my car. Hmmmmm who sent them to me???? CY I think.....Thanks dear in spite of my rudeness.
Shel, you crack me up. Ummmmm you can send the fees to me. I'm getting braces. Do you know how much those suckers cost.
Deb, very good point about your address. I think that would apply to a lot of us. Hmmmmm Maybe instead of "secret" pals, we can just have Circle Pals. Susan???
Robin, awwwwwww aint grands the bestest.
Time to take hubby to his appt. Say a prayer doc does something about the pain issue. Have no idea what but then I'm not the doctor.
I love you all to bits. My PO Box is open for anyone who wants to send me bras, cards, buttons, CD's, whatever. I am especially fond of the green paper with pictures of dead people.
O dear me I do hope everyone knows I'm kidding.0 -
Jan, poor cherry tree. They are soooo pretty. Thanks for the well wishes. He will live.
Shokk, I have pink pearls. Hubby bought them for me when I finished rads. They are lovely even if I do hate pink.0 -
Okay, will someone please take the kool aid jug away from Shokk!!! LOL!
0 -
ok, doing research for secret pals. there are websites where you can buy things and have it be from your secret pal. you could create an additional email address for yourself from yahoo, msn, or your current provider.
snail mail will have city name. maybe ups would cooperate with the secret pal thingy, but in this day of homeland security, I'm guessing not. still thinking. if you have any ideas, please post them.
note: a lot of the secret pal websites are focused on knitting/crocheting. whadayaknow0 -
Oh, is that what we are calling Moonshine lately?

. Kool Aid, indeed. LOL! 0 -
Skokk...oh man ,now I know how consipiracy theroies are hatched..purple koolaid...lol....

Ok ladies...today is my Friday so I'm off til Monday, I pray that a peaceful mood will settle in
Please check th eupdate on Pinkstock

Good Evening Everyone: Oh Lordy! There are 2 pages to read since my last post and that was midmorning today. We sure are talkative. This is the first day all week that was "normal" and part of that is being home at 3:30pm and talking to all of you.
Gina: I want to say something. You have always been there for me. All through chemo. You and Liz - you remember how sick I was, how I lost my voice all through chemo and how I broke my rib! We have been through alot together.
Then you started this wonderful thread. A place where we could laugh, cry and support each other. My safe haven. Excuse me "OUR" safe haven. You will never know the sorrow I felt when I read those Evil comments. You will never know the anger I felt. You are loved! You deserve a break! Your my friend. Oh by the way, this is what I really feel like doingto anyone that tries to hurt you.
Cheri: OK, your next! The nurse that I am, I had to look up cysts in the brain. They are fluid filled sacs. Tratment if fairly simple. In my opinion, this isnt "mets." The brain is really the last place bc will normally travel too. Usually to the lung first. So Im thinking you are dealing with a new and different problem. But dang it, if it were me, I would be going balistic right about now! Seems like this roller coaster ride never ends. You are a good person. You are a kind person. And you are my friend.
PurpleMB: Your generousity is astounding. You always manage to say the right thing, give support, do something to make us feel better about ourselves. I remember you too, way back when - I was first diagnosed - I spent hours on the chat line. One day I spent 12 straight hours on the chat. I was newly diagnosed, I was scared and you were there. And now, 2 years later, your were here for me again. You are special. You are the most unselfish person I know. You are my friend.
Tracey: Same thing goes for you. I was new and scared and there was this "crazy" person so full of energy whose name was snowmen in thongs. That in itself puts a smile on my face. You were always so supportive on the chat and continue to be supportive here. With your recent Birthday I realize you are exactly the same age as my son! Young I am - had him at 17. You are full of energy. You are delightful. You are my friend.
Liz: Hmmm let me see. I think I was already established on the chat when I met you. Maybe I was about one or two months ahead of you. We sure went through some tough times together. We share the same still unsettled feeling about our bone scans. You are my partner in the health care tent, you are a special one, you are my friend.
Sherloc: Well I think you came along right about the time Liz came to the chat. I remember your name cause I loved it. Didnt think of Shirley though. Thought of Sherloc Holmes and investigating to find a cure for bc. Your face shows your heart is smiling! You bury the head of rattle snakes! Ewwwwww! You are my friend.
Peggy: What can I say. I think the first time I met you I sent you a stupid email about a stupid topic. At first you were offended and I felt awful. Then we connected. You are so very special to me. Sometime, in my lifetime, we will meet. I feel like I have know you all my life. You are an inspiration! You put a spell on me. You are my friend.
Jasmania: I remember when the boards went down. I was still into chatting and I was going through total withdrawal. Then I found your website. Gosh another time I spent about 8 hours on the chat. I loved your icons and I begged to be authorized to go into the private discussion boards. Seems like I have known you forever. You are an inspiration. Your faith makes me want to pray. You are my friend.
Tgirl: You are my "Are you ready for some football" buddy. We had a blast last fall and all through the football season. When you first came here you were big time competition with early morning posts until your computer went down. Whenever I see you post, I smile. You are free spirited. You warm my heart everytime I see you post. You are my friend.
Shokk: I love your posts. You make me smile. Make me laugh. You are my tornado buddy! Although you are a fairly new friend. I feel like I have known you forever. You are strong. You can survive anything including tornados. You are my friend.
Z: I am so glad you found the circle. This is a special place. And you have made it even more special. You are connected. You are a fighter. You are trying to move beyond. You are my friend.
Sheri: Wow what can I say. We have known each other for a long time here on the discussion boards and we have so much in common. Had to change from taxol to taxotere. Had to stop herceptin after a few rounds. Seems like I was always hypnotized by your posts. You are a really special person. Your a wonderful teacher and mother. You are my friend.
Colleen: Nothing better than getting McDonalds when ya have a hang over. Yes indeed. Big Mac, french fries and a chocolate shake. Take the fries and dip them in the shake. Any other time this whole scenerio sounds awful. Your strenght is an inspiration. You deserve more than what was handed down to you the early part of this year. You will be gloriously happy - I know it. You are my friend.
Brenda: When you are not here I miss you. The posts you made today made me cry. Cry for Joy. You wored things so eloquently. How is your husband doing? You just about the sweetest person I know. You were thrown back into "real" life and its been hard. You are so kind. You are my friend.
Shel: Seems to me like we had a rocky start too. No fault of yours. I think I was in one of those crazy moods and sent you a pm telling you that your were nurse cratchet! Oh my - Im embarrassed to think about that one. In actuality, I was the nurse crachet. You have been through so much. You make me smile. You and I are so much alike. You are a good nurse. You are a wonderful person. You also amaze me at your strenght. You are my friend. And dont you ever change.
Robin: I put you on the map. Man Tennessee is hard. I had to zoom 4 times! But you are there. And yes, in a pink dress! I happen to like pink Now what can I say about you - we have known each other for a while. I have always thought what a strong person you are. You fight every battle with grace. You also deserve a break. You are my friend.
DebC: You are so much part of the circle. I can remember almost every detail of your trips to the "big" city when you were getting rads. Your husband got you a lap top. We saw pictures of the Northern Lights. Then there was your trip to Hawaii. Gosh I felt like I was there with you. And then the beautiful gift. Seeing the circle of flowers float into the ocean has left a lasting imprint. Then the CD! I listen to it everyday. You have a real gift in cheering up people and making them feel better. You are honest. I respect you. You are young and yet so wise. You are my friend.
Vickie: My sunshine sister! I remember when I first met you. You were newvickie then. I immediately took a liking to you. Love hearing the stories from the retirement community cause I did that for many years. You are the first person to brighten my day. You are well - just a sweetheart. You are my friend.
Beth: I was just mean to you. There is no way of getting around that. I think at first you confused me. Maybe I was just being paranoid. You perservered through many a hard times here and you gracefully backed offed when you shouldnt have had to. Your surgery is in 10 days. You have made the right choice. You are scared. You are my friend.
I am not done. Just have to take a momentary break to eat dinner. Gotta love it when the DH does all the work and all I have to do is eat. I will be back.
