Need help deciphering what my QT results mean.
recently I had an MRI done and there was a mass observed on my right breast, They scored it at a BIRAD 4 and it was very concerning. Not wanting to get a mammogram, due to fear of causing trauma to the affected tissue, I elected to get a QT scan done, can anyone read this and tell me what they think this means,…

Stabbing pain from biopsy
Hello all, I've just had my second biopsy on my right breast, which was fortunately negative. I'm high risk due to several family members having had breast cancer, which is why I'm checked every six months. This biopsy, however, was horrible. I told the doctor I wasn't completely numb, but she told me that I was just…

BI-RADS 3
Good evening, everyone, Sorry for the long post, I just needed to vent. I am 38 years old now, it all started 2 years ago, when I went to my doctor as my right breast was feeling sore, and my armpit was very painful. They did mamogram which turned to be that I have very dense breast, and then ultrasound, and there I had a…

Excisional Breast Biopsy
Hello there. This is all so new and overwhelming, but reading your stories is so moving and inspirational. I had an abnormal yearly mammogram in February with follow-up scans, an ultrasound, and a core needle biopsy in September. They were unable to obtain microcalcifications needed for testing after retrieving 15 tissue…

Needle-like pain
Good morning, Last night; left breast (the one that isn’t problematic) one specific spot, sharp needle-like pain when changing positions, there was even a slight bruise. I felt a small bump/lump/cyst don’t know how to categorize it. I’m fllwd bi-annually since lumpectomy 9/5/24 for ALH and two large radial scars. My last…

Concerned about wording on orders for diagnostic mammogram
My mind is going in all directions. I've had mammograms before, normal and abnormal. Abnormal then nothing, abnormal and microcalcifications that lead to stereotactic biopsies on both sides, everything was benign. This time a regular screening then a letter stating I need to get further testing because of abnormal results.…

unilateral nipple discharge + pain, normal ultrasounds, specialists say it’s fine but I’m st
Hi everyone, I’m 25F, mom of a 5-year-old, and I’m really anxious about my breast health. I’ve already seen specialists but I’m still confused, so I wanted to ask if anyone has gone through something like this. Last year: I had an infection after a nipple piercing. There was pus and even some blood from the nipple milk…

Disappearing Focal Asymmetry
I had a new focal asymmetry on screening mammogram back in March. I got called back and the asymmetry was still visible on mammogram, although it was smaller because of being compressed. It was not present on ultrasound. They said to go back in 6 months. So, I went back today and got a normal result. (Yay, so relieved!)…

Why would people not return for their 6 month follow-up mammogram?
Hi, I just went through a 3-D mammogram, then a call-back mammogram and US and then a 6-month follow-up mammogram. The 6-month follow-up was normal—BI-RADS 1 negative. So, I was very, very relieved. But I was extemely anxious before the normal findings on the 6-monht follow-up. The tech mentioned in passing that many…
