hmmmmm been thinking and thinking and can only come up with one thing for the flushing party. Guess this year hasn't been to bad.

Sears who bought out Maytag and fired all the maytag men and made them reapply for the same jobs and offered them less money and caused my son in law to have to find another job 5 stinking hours away from me.

In my treasure box are many things.
My darling husband, who buys me great presents and takes me on great trips and loves me in spite of me.

My children including the by-law one.

    My dear sweet grandchildren.

And not least of all...everyone of you for making my days brighter.

Happy New Year see you in 07

    In the golden box:

Melissa & Tami - and this website for letting us share our worse and best moments.

To all of my bc sisters, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

    Flushing away:

    Cancer, GO AWAY
    My dear daughter's D-I-V-O-R-C-E.
My first surgeon, who said she only biopsies for litigious purposes - thank goodness she was afraid of being sued and did do the biopsy!!!
My rad onc, who didn’t believe I was developing an infection in the radiated breast (yep, a stap infection).
All sleepless, stomach churning, absolutely horrible days and nights spent wondering, worrying
    I want to flush everyone’s pain away……

I'll think of more, I just have to leave now to go celebrate New Years with dh at some parties..............

VICKIE AND ALL - keep the tents going.........

    Can you say C-E-L-E-B-R-A-T-E 2007!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you ALL for being my sanity.....

Auld Lang Syne by Robert Burns

    Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
    And never brought to mind?
    Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
    And auld lang syne?

For auld lang syne, my dear,
    For auld lang syne,
    We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,
    For auld lang syne.

And surely ye'll be your pint-stowp,
    And surely I'll be mine!
And we'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,
    For auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my dear,
    For auld lang syne,
    We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,
    For auld lang syne.

We twa hae run about the braes,
    And pu'd the gowans fine;
But we've wandered mony a weary fit
    Sin' auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my dear,
    For auld lang syne,
    We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,
    For auld lang syne.

We twa hae paidled i' the burn,
    Frae morning sun till dine;
But seas between us braid hae roared
    Sin' auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my dear,
    For auld lang syne,
    We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,
    For auld lang syne.

And there's a hand, my trusty fiere,
    And gie's a hand o' thine!
    And we'll tak a right guid-willie waught

    For auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my dear,
    For auld lang syne,
    We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,
    For auld lang syne.

OK get ready for a BIG flush…

First of all Cancer…for me, for all the circle girls, for all my friend who have gotten Dx this year…may all the cancer be forever flushed.

I want to give a big old swirley to fear and anger, to pain and hot flashes.

I want to get rid of the guilt I feel for being on the receiving end of EVERYTHING for the past year.

Flushing big medical bills, insurance companies that won’t pay for my meds, both my old broken cars and all my credit card bills.

I’m flushing my lymphodema, and my sore feet.

    Now for my golden box….

You may thing this is strange, but I’m keeping my scared, flat chest in my box. I have slowly learned to love it and best of all, it is cancer free.

I’m keeping my family, friends both near and far, and all the community members that were there for me when I needed it most.

I’m keeping all my hard learned lessons about what is really important in life…that people that love me are more important than anything else. The fact that I am most at peace when I just do my best and give the rest to God.

Mostly I’m keeping my faith that 2007 will be a MUCH better year.

Big hugs and PARTY ON GIRLS

PROPEROUS...man I wanted to put that in my toast to you all and chemo brained me couldn't spell it no matter how hard I tried! I used to be able to spell ANYTHING, now I write things and look at them and even if they are spelled right I'm not sure and end up looking it up!!
Flushing chemo brain and neuropathy down the drain.
We have a septic system big as the moon ladies so flush away! HUGE pipes too so there will be no backups and no plungers needed.

Wow - haven't been here all day - and yes - busy day!

    My flushing list:

    Cancer - of course
    Blood clots
The one bad wig I bought and the insensitive b!tch at that store who made me feel like crap when I asked her to trim it
My DH's screwed up family members that I finally had to delete from my life
The emergency room nurse that gave me a 3-week bruise from giving me a shot in my deltoid
The pain and suffering of my bc sisters, brothers and their families

    My Golden Box:

My DD - she is amazing and the light of my life
My DH - my rock and best fan
My job - the company, the boss and my team - who offered to shave their heads in support
My boys - Harry and Floyd (my kitties) - who always brighten my day
The peace of mind I finally found with this dx - and the strength to fight this beast again (and ya'll helped with that!)
Funny movies that keep me laughing
Tivo so I have plenty to watch when I'm hitting my treatment wall
Music - that takes me away any day, any time
Bath salts and candles to soothe my body and soul
Art that inspires me to see beyond color and shape
Yoga that brings me strength, peace and harmony
Sunshine that almost immediately puts me in a good mood
Wind and rain that makes me feel alive

Last but not least - YOU ALL and all that you have given me in this lonely disease - I am forever in your debt

My DD and I are celebrating with chocolate fondue, fizzy drinks, the movie Cars and the boys.

I wish everyone a happy and healthy 2007!!

    Love to you all...

    New Year

    This night
    of all the nights
    is the year's last.
    All, all
    the other nights
    are gone, are past...
    After
    the evening, with
    its fading light,
    put the lid
    on the hour
    and close it tight.

    Close up
    your tired eye;
    close up the day.
    Bid the old year
    Goodbye,
    and come away.

snuck back home for a minute.... that party is LOUD! Not good for my head!
Vickie and Naniam, I see my neuro on NEXT Sunday- not today.

I am thinking about what I wanted to flush from this year...

The pain and sadness the beast has caused... from the almost unbearable loss of my friend in October to every new girl who hears the words "you have cancer"

I would like to flush every news report that begins BREAST CANCER BREAKTHROUGH!!! and end with FOR ER/PR POSITIVE WOMEN ONLY!!! (I want you er/pr + girls to have breakthroughs! But can't we negative girls get just ONE???)

OK- That is the flushing part...

    Golden Box?
    My dad
    The peace I have discovered
An unbelievable year for my garden!
The opportunities I have been given
Some of the PMs that have been sent to me that have filled me with such love and joy they make me cry
The fact that this little post became so big and wonderful
    my Mini!
My baby boy former stray who is now the showcat of the neighborhood

    And most of all, YOU.
The love, understanding, strength, comfort and pure joy you have given me has meant more than anything else in this world.

I know I will think of more- so I will go back to Hel- I mean my neighbor's- and then come back here again!!!!

Vickie, can you dip Bruce in chocolate for me???

Ok more for my golden box that has to be bigger than my flushing list
    chocolate (heehee)
sweet memories of my dear sweet grandfather
    my new home
NOT getting hurt in my two car accidents (thank you God)
    fewer nightmares lately
    Xanex
    Lexapro

Holy guacamole...I'm here, fashionably late...'cause it took me an hour to read and catch up! And I was running around, and I was up til the wee hours last night and slept very late today...Remember that escort service Cheri and I started?

Well, she was a bit confused and got herself arrested last night...yep...out...uh...escorting...I had to bail her out of jail and explain to her that we are the CEO's and that's not what we do. We hire fine, educated, worldly young men to accompany sophisticated women. Ah, gotta love her naivete.

Joy, I do believe you're looking for what we call our Pissy Tent. That's where we do our best b*tching and moaning.

Michele: Where in Jersey do you live? Are you joining us on the 13th in Manhattan for the pajama party?

Vickie: My oh my, you've been so busy...I see you're really psyched for flushing 2006 and getting this party and 2007 started! Woo hoo! Let's roll, baby!

Liz: Have a thing for dark eyed, brunettes, do you? Me too.

Oh, Welcome to Adrienne, Lharry, and someone else...I'll come back and edit...I forgot the name already...What a perfect night to join the Circle. Put on a party hat and dance!

Tina: If Arimidex is making your life so miserable, can you ask your onc about switching to Femara or Aromasin? Maybe the side effects will be less severe. They are also AI's, as you probably know, but it might be worth a shot to try a different one.

Carrie: Good to see you. Happy almost New Year to you and Denise. Please give her a CG hug & kiss for me.

Betty: My condolences on the loss of your friend.

OH: CG Funk Alert -- Our thong-wearing snow bunny aka Tracey, is in a funk, ladies. She needs some extra TLC. So I'm plopping her in the Inner Circle. Please help me in indulging her every desire.

OH! Sherloc...great to see you...man, you must be exhausted!

And Silvergirl: I saw a video on YouTube.com of Beyonce singing a song from the movie "DreamGirls". It was awesome. And I saw the show on Broadway years ago and loved it. I hope the movie is great. Please let us know. I'd like to see it, too.

Ok, I'm gonna start tent hopping...be back in a bit with my flush list and a resolution or two...turn up the volume!...party hi's to all of you...Mena...xo

PS: Alaina: That's the name! Welcome Alaina. Welcome to the Circle...xo

Putting NS's migraines down the purple toilet and flushing them away.
Would love to stay up and party till midnight but going to crawl under the electric blanket and get some much needed shut eye.
Looks like everyone is busy with champagne, chocolate fountains, fireworks, flushing and someone is licking chocolate off someone (you know who you are!). Bon Jovi has dropped the curtain so I'm off to start the New Year with him (in my dreams pppfffttt).
Keep flushing ladies and fill your golden boxes to overflowing.
    Love you all sweet sisters
Happy New Year...may the saddest days of your future be no worse than the happiest days of your past.
    Many blessings to all

Mena...so good to see you. I should have figured that Cheri got herself in a mess...what are we going to do with that girl. Oh well...kept the police off my tail for a bit. I'm not returning the toilet or the ball till Tuesday so we can celebrate (hey...we're still here right)and flush all day tomorrow and get it out of our system to start the new year right.

OMG - I haven't been on since friday afternoon and there are like 7 pages - way too many to read now. I tried skimming some, but I really want to go back and read them all - later tonight (when I can't sleep) or tomorrow. Just a quick post so dh and I can go walk the dogs then watch a movie together. Miriam is watching Disney. We don't go out on New Years Eve - too many crazies. 17 year old son is at a party and will be home tomorrow. 20 year old college dd is still at school and babysitting tonight. So I guess we are all save indoors (well I hope the 17 really is).
We did manage to go out last night - the city is pretty much over the snow and all the main streets are clear. So much snow that the city has had to hire trucks to haul away all the snow they plowed. We grabbed a quick bite to eat at the Hard Rock (a rip off) and then went to see "Holiday". It was a good movie, but I had trouble sitting so long - knees were hurting. Left the movie crying!!! I'm just so tired of all this!!! Thanks for the suggestions about Neurontin and Lyrica. I will ask my onc about it in January when I see him. One of my girlfriends thinks that the hand pain is carpel tunnel and that I should get it checked out (she is an anesthesiologist). I am just so sick of doctors the thought of going to another one just freaks me out. I didn't even go for my annual gyn check up this month like I generally do. The other night I counted and I had 95 medical appointments (plus the two surgeries) in 2006 - actually from 1/23 through 11/30.
Vickie - you can flush 2006 down the toilet for me too. I was going to kick it out the door, but flushing it sounds better.
AlsaskaDeb - hooray for you!!! NED!!! keep dancing!!
Everyone else, I will go back and take notes later. But for now, wishing everyone feel good days, good health and dances with NED in 2007. Thanks for being here.

Mena, I sent TracEy a PM earlier. If you talk with her, tell her I'm here if she needs me. Also, River was in chat earlier and was asking about you and E. First time I've been in for awhile. River said she's doing great.

Karen glad the roads are clear. You guys have really gotten dumped on. We don't go out New Years either. It's called amatuer night around here. LOL

Vickie, all of you are in a different time zone than me. I'm in central time. It's only 10:03 here.

If I fall asleep, know that I treasure each of the CG's and wish for everyone to have less stress, less tests and many happy healthy days in 2007.

Vickie, you started this big sha-bang & now you're off to bed?? Well, you can read tomorrow about all the fun. Thanks for all the party favors you sticky-fingered for us.

Poor Mena. She's delusional. Its so sad. We were having a great time at the Hooch tent last night. Then she started drinking shots of tequila.(I don't drink when I'm with her cos I have to look after her)I finally talked her into letting me "escort" her home. That's when her...uh...psychotic episodes started...again. The Dr. says it's best just to go along with her.

I still have to come up with my gold box list. That's for the good things, right? I'll come back with that later.

Liz! You're quick! I'm so pathetic, I wanted to be the first CG to post in 2007...hahaha...here I am home with my daughter, watching Dick Clark and eating my ball o' cheese...

Cheri, you freaking crack me up...even feeling as melancholy as you are you're still good with the comebacks...I laughed at loud. That's a great way to kick off a new year -- laughing. Thanks, buddy!...Mena...xo
