OMG, Susan!!! ROFLMAOPIMP!!! How did you do that???? That is too funny!

I'm better now. Been to the hoochie tent and I'm no longer crying about being alone. I am such a BABY!!! After 36 yrs. of marriage, I have never been by myself. That is totally disgusting! Hey, I'm supposed to be a Bad Girl. I need to put my leather jacket on, light up a cigarette, put on my big girl THONG, and shut up!! Oh Shoot Howdy, I don't smoke anymore.

Vickie, it is terrible that we have just returned from The Emerald City and we are already talking about the next party! Hey girlfriend, whatever works! You know, I was thinkin' (dangerous) we need to steal some toilets for the hoe-down. Where will we pee????

Good Eveing Everyone: Well I had to work a full day today. How terribly unfair lol. This was a day from hell. Everyone was crabby, and I planned on having a slow day so wear high heels --- which I never do! And I did enough walking to double my exercise. And you got it. I didnt come home and exercise!

To top the day off, got a call from my husband - told me our above ground pools lining has a tear, so in addition to the massive snow melting, the half full pool is leaking into our yard. Yeppers I was at Evanston Hospital when I got that call. Right by beautiful Lake Michigan and the Bah Hai temple which is a Landmark here in Chicago.

Oh! and last night I fell asleep with my glasses on. Ahahah better to see those creeepy dreams. Anyways, woke up this morning and they are crooked. Now my eyebrows are not the same since chemo - but geez I can see one eyebrow and the other is hidden. Goofy hair and crooked glasses!!!

There are so many posts and so many I want to talk to. I will try my best, but catch up in the morning.

NS: First of all, we have not heard from you. Now I know the past 2 days have been filled with tests, but I think your at least reading. For some reason - you cant post, or just dont want to. And THAT'S OK! Just remember we are here for you. And we do care about you.

PurpleMB: Wow, now thats a loaded gun question!! What to do? What to do? Despite my recent problem with getting my medications refilled, I can usually push all of my doctors around. Most of them know me from working as a staff nurse. I only bring this up, cause if I want - I can have any test done. Sometimes, when I come to the chat and the boards, I feel like I should be having all these different tests. 50% of me says hey, get the tests why not. The real me says, unless Im having symptoms - Im not getting anymore tests. I have an RX in my purse for a brain scan cause of my headaches. Seems like my headaches went away once my PCP gave me the RX. Im not getting it done. Also have an RX for a stress test - and Im not getting that done either lol. I dont know - I want to enjoy this time. For the first time I dont have anymore treatments. Sigh of relief. So - if your not having symptoms, JMO - why get tests that will make your squirrly?

Amy: Congratulations!! I knew you could do it. I wrote down feeding time next to my notes to you, but now for the life of me I cant remember why

Tgirl: I just love the food channel and Rachael Ray. "Good To Go."

Susan: Oh my I was so glad to see you. But Im pouting. I want a Wanted poster too. Could be the craziest persona round. I have found that Orthopedic surgeons, in general are the biggest Pompous Asses! I remember Litte Rascals and really liked Alfalfa. And its bull crap about the blood draws on you bc side! You stick to your guns!!

Judy: Oh it sounds like you had so much fun at the Casino. I would have been too busy playing slots and black jack to eat.

Holly: I wrote to you on another thread. Told you my thoughts from a nurses perspective. Hope DH is taking his medication. I do think - there is something crazy in the atmosphere. If not full moon then changes as we are now approaching Spring. Both my parents were born in Italy, so I did really understand the nose thing!!

Jan: "Shes a rebel and she'll never evr be any good.
Just because she doesnt do what everybody else
thats no reason why I cant give him all my love.

He is always good to me, good to him I'll always
    be.

Cause he's not a rebel no no no to meeeeeeeeee!

Vickie: Oh I just love the Ho down theme

MargaretB: Oh my biggest wish would be to get a personal trainer. Even only 12 visits would be great.

Ok! It is 6:15 and I have run outta time. Plus, Im drunk lol. Husband is not serenading me. And I want to watch Jericho and Sopranos. So I need to sum things up.

Cheri: I have had those days. Today was one of them.

Sherloc, Denise, Jules, Shokk, Gus/Sue, DebC and everyone else. Have a wonderful evening. Im gonna go spend some time with my animals and husband. If I missed ya, Im sorry - I still love ya.

Susan, HAHAHAHAAHA You are just too clever girl! However in the world did you do that? I love it. I noticed you weren't on one. You should be on there for stealing Goofys hat. lol

Nicki, meet Jan in the Hooch tent and Vicki, Madison & I will be there later. Bet Tracey, Shel and Deb are already there.

Jan you big baby you. Never been alone? My dh & I have been married 17 years and he's driven a truck over the road the whole time. (That's prolly how we've stayed married) I'm so used to being alone it's drive me nuts to have him home all the time. And I like him. lol BTW, love the pick of the...bottle.

    Evening CG'S.
Susan: Love your wanted posters! Some story about your surgeon and the story of the other guy. Most Doc's hate to be wrong. UGG

NS: Thinking about you daily. I must have missed a post but I love the idea of you giving up Boobs for Lent! Keep the spirits up!

Peanutsgirl: I won't let blood draws, IV'S, or even BP be taken on surgery side. Tough crap, they have tried to tell me it doesn't matter......well, if it doesn't matter, do it on the side I say!

Karen: Fill me in on surgery. I'm so sorry that I don't remember what it is on.

Amy: Thanks for covering for me with my supervisor today..She never questioned me! Congrats on Your New Job!!

Joyce: Glad you're going to make it to Pinkstock. I really hope to go also.

As usual, to be cont'd....I hate losing post.
    Hugs,
    Denise

Cheri, I know. Like I said, I'm puttin' on the big girl panties and getting it together! We are just not used to it. I said to DH earlier, that if we had to deal with this on a daily basis, it wouldn't be a big deal. BTW, I saw those guys in your tent again. What gives???

Yeah Nicki, the brat pack lives!!!

    Susan, I am still laughing!!!!!

OK ladies - time for this gal to not drink this last glass of wine, and go to bed. See ya in the morning.

    Cont'd..
MB: You are not nuts. Or atleast no more so than the rest of us. We seem to have very active minds when it comes to test. I was fine the first 2 1/2 years after DX, but the past 6 months, I have this doom that just looms. My Mamm is in March. You'll be fine!

Alwayshope: I can't believe you ate the whole thing!! (what was that commercial?)

Alwayshope: I thought Aliens lived in all of us! That's been my standard excuse for along time. I didn't do it, the alien did it!

Bayyore: The biggest kick is being sent your way!!

Cheri: This is the only place I know where we can go from Grumps to Grins in minutes! Love it.

Shokk: I personally think all men need to have at least one penis mammogram in their life time. How great would that be to get them to understand what we go through!

Vickie: You are Naughty..But, big secret here, So am I!!
    Don't change..we're a dying breed!

Party at Debs: A real ole fashioned Ho (hoe) down. That reminds me of a saying from my younger years. Does anyone know what CFM shoes are??????

    Love to all,
    Denise

Okay, I felt so guilty and disgusted, that I left work early today and went and bought a month's membership in our local community center gym. I started on the treadmill and walked 1.5 miles and then moved to the elliptical trainer. I promise, if that et had a 'wimp'ometer gauge I would have registered a 10 out of 10. Darn, that was the hardest thing I've done in years. I lasted a whole 5 minutes on the et.

And yes, I ate the WHOLE thing, Denise. The only redeeming part is that is was the Beyers Low Carb ice cream with Splenda. So, that's not as bad as eating a whole tub of real ice cream, right???!!! RIGHT???

I fully expect to wake up tomorrow with an additional 5 lbs.

Can someone pass some cheese to go with my whine??

Susan...oh I so love the wanted posters...your the best.
Denise...we have to be naughty sometimes.
Alwayshope didn't eat the whole thing I swiped that too!
Cheri dear...maybe you need to send your two "boyfriends" to Mena to get her out of hiding!
If those guys are circling us I'm hiding behind Nicki!
Feeling a bit better tonight...it's amazing what an extra Xanex will do.
How is Kevin doing? I need to get a care package out to him.
Ok ladies...of to get the kids to bed so I can crochet but I'll be back.
    Love ya all

    Hello girls!
Please forgive me for not reading anything-the conrast dye has given me one of my famous headaches..
    BUT
I have preliminary reports- and confessions from the techs- meaning I beat the info out of them

IT LOOKS LIKE EVERYTHING IS ALL CLEAR!

IF they are right then this IS a new primary and I DID beat my first cancer and this is just one of those things...

I don't have definite word yet from the doctor on all of them but the lung looks like scarring from the rads and hasn't grown since october.
The breast lit up! OF COURSE
The thyroid too but that always does
The bone scan guy told me that all the contrast was "stuck" in my LE arm! BUT I got him to tell me if my bones were ok and he said it "looked like it'
After that I went back to the tech who did my brain MRI this AM and SHE said it looked "normal"

SO PRAY they are all right and I am good to go!!

OK- I have got to lie down I am seeing double.

But damn! Your prayers and magic carpet are good!!!!
    Love you,
    g

Oh NS, Great news. I am WOO-HOOing all by myself!! That is such good news.

Can somebody tell me what is the difference between mets and a new primary. My onc tells me nothing. It sounds like the new primary is a good thing.
